No

2) When was the last time you cried?

I'm not quite sure, but I guess the last time I can recall was last October.

3) Do you have kids?

Nope

4) What sports do you play/have you played?

In a team setting, I've played basketball, soccer (american meaning of soccer lol), and softball. I also like to snowboard.

5) Do you use sarcasm?

Yeah sometimes I do, but I'm not very good at it haha.

6) What's the first thing you notice about people?

I guess their clothes and hair? I don't really know.

7) What's your eye color?

Brown

8) Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings! I'll watch scary movies but they also sometimes give me nightmares so I guess I prefer happy over scary.

9) Any talents?

I'm musically inclined. Played a bunch of instruments when I was younger (violin, viola, drumline pit section [i.e. xylophone, vibraphone, marimba etc.], and taiko). Also I can make gifs.

10) Where were you born?

Southern California

11) What are your hobbies?

Playing videogames (primarily PS5 stuff), reading fanfics, making gifs, and watching TV shows. I used to doodle, but not anymore. Currently I've become obsessed with kpop again lol but I try to keep it off my main blog since y'all didn't follow me for that hahaha.

12) Do you have any pets?

Nope, not currently. I used to have rats and dogs growing up as a kid though.

13) How tall are you?

5'5" (167cm)

14) What was your favorite subject in school?

Music and English back when I was in high school. Then photography back when I was in college.

15) What is your dream job?

Working for a videogame company! It'll never happen, but I think it's probably for the best. I feel like when you work in the industry that you like as a hobby, it can sometimes kill your love for it? I think right now I'm fairly happy with product development. I think maybe a toy company might be more fun, to work on figurines or dabble in soft goods.

god this whole chapter was a harder read than the entirety of jjk

obviously the biggest change in this chapter was hanako following his future as planned

before actually reading the chapter i alrdy saw the panels and read through em but actually reading it and not through a tiktok slideshow fr broke me

when i first read that hanako was supposed to be a science teacher i cried

but now that im reading about hanako being a science teacher, one that students are comfortable enough to be asking for advice and career guidance and can genuinely have fun with I'M CRYING AGAIN WAAAAHHG

he looks like such a friendly teacher i'd love him irl, as someone who would've joined an astronomy club if my school had had one :')

and with this new present, the fact that kou and nene never interacted, HANAKO AND NENE NEVER MET AS WELL

that whole scene with nene talking about how the 'plant' she's been taking care of, which represents the old world

being replaced with a "prettier" pot of plant, the new present which is indeed more peaceful and has lesser problems and everyone is enjoying themselves in this new world, save for the people who have memories of the old world who are suffering instead...

but as nene expressed, it was important to both her and us readers

and from here it's like she's not giving up on it, even if it's been causing her so much problems

she's giving her best to nurture and fix it, or at least make it bloom a flower, to at least have one good thing come out from all this struggle

today was an interesting day. I have this friend who I actually love so much. we have had very similar experiences and grew up in similar environments. both of us are incredibly blessed when it comes to the life we have been given. I thank God for her every day because I get to have these incredible discussions with her about the world and our faith and Christianity without judgement and regards of whether we agree or not. and it's just so refreshing to be able to just talk with her.

she's also incredibly strong in her faith and honestly it's so admirable! and admittedly I have walked away from my faith a little bit... most of that is because I'm never going to be accepted into a church for what I think or how I think or who I love or who I am. and part of that is because I spent my life going in and out of churches that didn't want my family. and part of it was just because I had no one that consistently pushed me in my faith. and ik my faith is my responsibility but when you become so far removed from the church, the only community you have in faith is your Christian friends.... and I live so far from them that it's hard to keep in touch all of the time. and most of that's my fault. I let my faith become my last priority. but I'm realising how much of who I am I miss being built on Christ. I will admit, there is stuff in the bible and in the church I can't sit behind, but the church is only human and god is not the church and the bible is read so out of context most of the time that if I sat down to understand the context I think I would have a better time connecting to my faith.

remember: god is not the cause of my suffering, he is the solution. it's not all churches and it's not all Christians --those that truly follow Christ will love you and accept you just as you are and allow you the space to grow. love completely and live through Christ-- afterall, he gave his life so I could live a life in step with him.

so this is where this starts again. today I give my life back to Jesus and seek to understand and live by his wold.

THE BUNKER:

🚪 No joke, I forgot if they ever mentioned what the name of the bunker Uzi lives in is called.

🚪 ANYWAY, what if besides making big ahh doors, the Worker Drones also used the DDs' overheating issue against them? So their colony is designed to be very warm, not enough to overheat a regular Worker Drone, but just enough to gradually affect a DD. Sorta like a contingency for if they ever infiltrate the bunker.

🚪 Could also add an aspect of the bunker having a lot of lights and being very vibrant, to play with the fact that the DDs are bug themed in this. This + the idea above would kinda make the colony like a big ahhh bug zapper.

🚪 Does this mean that the colony is a lot more serious about the DD issue and not just playing cards all the time? Nope! Still a bunch of incompetent silly billys.

NEXUS:

🐾 Finally figured out his trauma: Extremely knowledgeable with vehicles and zoology, but given that no one seems to care about cars and all biological life on Copper-9 is dead, his knowledge is almost entirely useless.

🐾 Puts up with all the bullying bc he sees it as his own punishment for being a burden on his peers.

🐾 I need to make his backpack bigger. I want it to be big enough to fit all his friends in (well at the beginning of the story, I guess it does since he has no friends). Note to self: make a doodle of this.

🐾 Might scrap the school bus idea and instead have him find a military car of sorts?

SERIAL DESIGNATION Z:

🪰 DDs aren't as short as her. In fact, she was a little taller as a Worker Drone. L and T got a lot taller tho LMAO

🪰 I like to imagine she would get along well with Tessa and inevitably picked up some of her characteristics. Thus, Z is now "The Scavenger" of the DDs, looting the carcases of her victims and using it to build... Something.

🪰 She always loses to her teammates if they ever spar, even though she's a really good fighter. L just likes to take advantage of her low self-esteem, and T disturbs her, to say the least.

DISASSEMBLY DRONES:

🔺 Okay but listen, I am absolutely crazy about their overheating weakness. So it's like their DD specific features (interchangable hands, wings popping out of nowhere, and nanite acid tail) all require a lot of power, but they're still working on the same amount of power they had as Worker Drones.

🔺Rarely ever gonna draw em, but the DDs should all have different insect wing types. Just to show I did like. At least a little research.

🔺 Antennae for receiving signals from their other squad mates. Possible to intercept and listen into.

🔺 Possibly giving each of the DDs a unique ability related to their titles. Small hints to the others, but I'm considering "The Watcher" for L and "The Travesty" for T.

🔺 The titles aren't an in universe thing btw, I just like foreboding names.

Sibyl itself is promoting conflicts to expand itself, and then denying asylum to the refugees which is why they're confined to Dejima/Kyushu. Sibyl lets MFA do the dirty work and it's obvious that Sibyl just turns a blind eye to this because it benefits their colonisation approach. I wonder what Kogami's thoughts will be when he comes to realise that his "democratisation" in Siam Reap (Psycho Pass Movie) was just a part of Sibyl's grand plan. Also Kona Island? Didn't Rutaganda and his mercenaries live on an island? The knowledge that Sibyl would let the world suffer, after having seen the true effects of it in his journey abroad and that probably every person he met or lost on his journey (including the people that Tenzing lost) was suffering due to Sibyl's duplicity. Honestly, Kogami Shinya seeing the horrors of war, trying to help people and then returning to become a cog in the System is a tragic enough ending for me. I guess this was the meaning of that painting in that room. (The Abyss, I assume?)

Anyhow, I'm on my fourth rewatch (first time with subs so thank god I can follow the dialogues), and Sibyl has a knack of grinding my gears (pun intended), I've come to despise the System as much as Kogami. I'll delve into a proper review later, for now just accept my ramblings. I have 10,000 thoughts on Akane too, who in this movie punched me right in the heart, honestly I don't know how Akane-chan is so strong. I admire her grit.

 Kirby teased Arber, they were warming up for their game against the Las Vegas golden knights

“Ha ha” Arber sarcastically responded

“ you go to her for everything”

“ I do not” he tried to defend himself

“remember that one time you split your lip and went to the medical room you were in there for almost the whole third period” Kirby reminded him

 Arber knew Kirby was on to him he was a tough guy so a split with nothing to him but he just had to take any chance to see you

“ yeah  Touch on your dick”  Kirby sung out as he skated away

 The game went on and the Habs were up to making it 3:00 to 5:00 the second period was when things started to go south for Arber. Just his luck he took a puck to the nose he quickly rushed off the ice with a small trail of blood flowing behind him on the ice.

 as he walked through the tunnel people and management tried to talk to him but he made a beeline for the room he was looking for

 he swung open the door and a wave of relief washed over him when he saw you. you knew what happened before he was even in your medical room. you were glad you had a small monitor in the top corner of your room so you could watch the game.

 Arber knew what to do he sat down on the medical bed holding his nose the best he could you quickly grabbed some tissue and handed it to him as you grab some other supplies you could feel Arbers eyes on you with your back turned to him and when you turned around you are proven right seeing Arber was  staring at you.

 you both knew what to do since he was in there quite a lot. You gave him a soft smile and stood in front of him. He moved his knees out of the way so you could stand in between them he hoped that you would but you never did in fear of overstepping.

'You really like seein me dont ya" you joked

Arber just smiled up at you

 he was and can be intimidating on the ice but you started to notice the more he came in here the more calm he was

“ okay I'm just going to take off your helmet you need to keep the tissue on your nose” you told him

“ I know the drill” he smiled

 I light laugh fell from your lips as you pulled off his helmet black strands of his hair fell over his forehead so you swiped them back making him smile at your caring  action

“ I need you to tilt your head up” you Told him

 Arber did as he was told you lightly grabbing his rest and pulling the tissue away from  nose

“ How bad is it doc?” Arber joked making you laugh

God he loved your laugh

“ it's not looking good we may have to amputate” you played along grabbing a Q-tip and wetting it just slightly to clean the small cut  under his nose where the puck made contact

 Arber laughed at your joke “ now how would that work?”  he questioned

“ I don't know it was the first thing that came to my mind” you laughed

 As you continued to wipe the blood off the best you could, Arber never stopped staring at your face. He loved the way you focused really hard when you cleaned him up, the way your brows knitted with concentration when you  finished you noticed a small smile on his face.

“ what” you shyly smiled

“ nothing” he tried to play off

“ no what is it  you've been staring at me this whole time” you told him as you threw away one of the Q-tips”

“I just-”

 Arber couldn't believe what he was going to admit but he couldn't stop himself

“ you know why I'm here all the time?”

“ yeah because you getting to fights” you stated but you saw Arber's face twitch slightly at your words and you try to explain your words the best you could without offending him

“I mean it's not a bad thing I think it's great I mean I get worried but I know you can handle your own but still” you rambled on

 are we just smiled at your rambling he knew he fought in hockey lots and he was fine with that he just watched you ramble until you noticed the smile creeping up onto his face

“ sorry” you shyly apologized rubbing your arm

“ no don't apologize it's cute” he said

 you felt he begin to brew in your cheeks you've always thought Arber was very attractive when you started working with the Habs you were very nervous but all the players were very welcoming you've gotten to know Arber the best and quite well since he's in the medical room lots but before you could respond he started talking again

“ Remember when I split my lip last week?” he asked

“ yeah and you were whining like a little baby” you laughed remembering

“ okay I wouldn't say like a baby” he laughed “ what I'm trying to say is I was fine,”

You gave him a confused look

“ when you started working here I thought you were so pretty and I found myself getting flustered around you like how you are with me right now”  he admitted

 he was right you were getting very flustered you tried to hide it but you couldn't stop the blush from showing on your face at his words

“ I just wanted to get to know you and I didn't know how so these little moments were all I had”

“ why didn't you ask me out or do something out of work” you asked

“ because if you said no it would have been sooooooo  awkward” he groaned leaning back making you laugh

“ So what are you trying to say?”  you questioned

 wanting to make sure you knew where this was going

“ damn it Y/n  I'm trying to say I like you…… a lot at the point where I get hurt and hockey and I get excited I get to see you” He confessed

 you couldn't stop the smile from spreading across your face at his words

Arber was fine to go back into the game and play, the cut under his nose was small and harmless.

“ if I'm being honest I think I'm fine right here”  he smiled

 you grabbed his helmet and shoved it lightly into his chest he took the hint and slowly got up and walked backwards towards the door stopping in the doorway

“Arber you have to go” you laughed softly shoving his chest but he stayed put

“ wait for me after the game” he told you

“ I'll be here in my lare”  you gestured to your medical

“I just wann-” “ XHEKAJ LET'S GO!!” Someone yelled

 making him turn his head but he quickly turned back to you before you could even  say anything he grabbed you by the waist pulling his lips into yours you were shocked at how quick the kiss was but it's still left you breathless when he pulled away and started  to hustle down the tunnel as he yelled

“ wait for me”

“ like I told you I'll be here” you yelled back

My actually-controversial internet opinion is that people need to stop being dicks about people who let their cats go outdoors. No, really.

So this isn't even me saying "don't try to persuade people to keep their cats indoors". I think educating people about that is absolutely a worthwhile goal. There are many good and solid reasons to keep your cat indoors. I also do not want to play a game of Traffic Roulette where I have to just accept that my little friend might one day just get hit by a car and die or wander off and disappear forever and I'm supposed to just be cool with that happening. And yeah, I fully agree that it's weird and annoying that this is somehow considered an unreasonable stance to take about your beloved pet. I also understand that concepts like domestic cats making a considerable dent in bird populations and potentially spreading viruses are issues that should be seriously taken into account and not just brushed off as "oh well, what can you do."

However.

So first of all, let's imagine a scenario here. Let's say that someone sees all these arguments on the internet, and they think "hey yes, they have some very salient points. Maybe I should start keeping my cat indoors from now on."

...so they try to put this into practise. They make sure all the doors are shut, seal off all possible escape routes, and do their best to convey to little Billy that he doesn't get to play in the garden anymore, for his own safety.

And Billy doesn't like that. He gets stressed and bored and restless. He spends a considerable amount of time just standing in front of the door yelling his head off, obviously desperate to go out, even though they're doing their best to entertain him. He gains a troubling amount of weight. He starts over-grooming himself to the point where he has bald patches. They try putting him on a lead, but he obviously hates the lead and spends the whole time chewing on it or trying to wriggle out of it. It's clear that this transition is causing him a not-inconsiderable amount of distress.

So obviously, Billy's human is very concerned by this. They understand why it's not a good idea to go back to letting their cat roam around unsupervised outdoors, but they can also see their cat is severely stressed and struggling to adjust and they wouldn't have the first idea of how to make it better. Furthermore, this person has grown up with cats themselves, and the notion that it's unethical to let cats go outdoors is completely new to them. And it's not just a new idea, it's basically the antithesis to what they were always taught. From their point of view, for the vast majority of their life it was considered cruel, maybe even a little irresponsible, to not let your cat go outdoors.

As in, if you said to someone that you wanted to keep your cat indoors all the time, they would basically react in the same way they would if you said that you wanted to try to feed your cat a vegetarian diet. Like oh gosh, of course I respect your decision, but don't you think that maybe that's going against their nature and it would be a lot healthier for them if you let them go out. And as much as the judgemental Tumblr crowd don't like to admit it, those people also think they're looking out for the welfare of people's pets. They're not thinking "oh well, I'm just not going to bother doing the extra work it takes to look after an indoor cat; I'd rather just leave it all in god's hands and if something happens oh well", they're thinking "My cat's happiness and wellbeing matters more than my personal anxieties, that's why I'm not going to be overprotective and instead I'll let them have their outdoor enrichment time."

Anyway, sidenote...so I realise this has turned into a tediously long post, and I have a habit of rambing at length in a slightly annoying way when I latch on to a topic. That being said, in this case it really is important to me that people actually read the points I'm making before trying to debate my post with me. So I'm going to request that if anyone wants to argue or even just generally debate with me about this topic, they preface whatever they're saying with the word "Obelix". As in, "Obelix: I disagree with you because blah blah blah." I'm not promising I'll engage with you even if you say the code word, because that's not actually my job, but I'm definitely going to ignore you if you don't say Obelix. Also if you message me on anon. Sorry if you're just doing it because you're shy or whatever, but if I have no idea who you are I have no reason to assume good faith and I'm not going to listen to you.

Anyway! All that aside. When it comes down to it, transitioning from letting your cat roam to keeping them indoors is a big transition, and will involve some very specific - and potentially expensive - accommodations. That's not to say it's not a worthwhile endeavour, but as much as shouty motherfuckers on the internet might be loath to admit it, there's a lot more to it than just "Oh my god, if you would take the time to ACTUALLY TAKE CARE OF YOUR PET, this WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM!!"

And when you actually consult more official sources (such as your local vet, or registered animal welfare charities) the response you get is often liable to be a lot more even-handed. A lot of sources will outright advise you to let your cat have time outdoors if keeping them inside is proving stressful for them and all other possibilities have been exhausted.

And again, that doesn't mean that every argument for keeping them indoors is null and void, or that these issues can't be worked around or accommodated!

What it does mean though is that I think maybe it's time to ask yourself what you really hope to achieve by going on the internet to say over and over and over again that they're the scum of the earth, that they're a sadistic animal abuser, that they secretly hate their cat because they let it go outdoors. And, ultimately, to consider the possibility that when people are presented with the options of "listen to a professional vet, or registered animal welfare charity" or "listen to a snarky tumblr post written by some stranger", they're not actually being all that unreasonable if they choose the former.

If you want to persuade more people to keep their cats indoors, you can actually do the work involved in giving them the information and resources that might make it a feasible possibility. Talk them through the reasons for doing it in a level-headed way. Give them links to reliable sources and websites that talk them through all the ways that they might be able to make this a feasible possibility. Keep a clear head and take the time to patiently explain to them why it's a better option, even if it seems like it should be obvious, even if you feel strongly about it, even if you personally have been presented with these ideas and it seems a little unbelievable that it might be someone else's first time being presented with them. Yelling at people about how awful they are for not just knowing this from the beginning might feel cathartic for you, but there's no guarantee that it's going to have any concrete effect other than getting you written of as a judgemental arsehole.

Stop being a dick.
