Nothing in this world can bring comfort to the heart and a sense of inner peace more than reciting the Qur’an. The Qur’an comes to save you every time you feel sad, lost and confused.
Sheikh Bilal Assad mentioned how 3 days after his son and brother had passed away, he found himself standing on the edge of a flat roof of a house. It was the same roof he had spent the last time with his son, the night before he passed away.
He thought, “Why am i not with them? Why am i still living? I should be with them.”
At that moment, subhanaAllah, the Qur’an started being recited from the mosque speakers. And you know what the first verse was?
‎وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا
‎“…Do not kill or overburden yourselves. Indeed, Allah is ever so Merciful to you.”
[4:29]
‎As soon as Sheikh Bilal Assad heard this, he started to cry because he knew this was from Allah.
‎This is why Allah says,
‎وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
“We revealed the Qur’an as a healing and mercy for the believers.”

A beautiful gift from a child to his parents.
Accountability begins when the child reaches puberty and Allah doesn't hold the parents responsible for the actions of their child. Any sin or action the child commits thereafter, the parents aren't responsible.
But,
no matter how old the child grows, for any good deed the child performs, the parents are rewarded and these good deeds are added up in their scales.
In the Hadith where our beloved prophet mentions the three acts that continue to benefit a deceased, our beloved prophet mentions, “A Pious Child that makes Dua for the deceased.”
Any bad act you commit won't harm your parents but any good act you perform will benefit them. Isn't it a beautiful way to be dutiful to our parents and express our love for them by increasingly adding good deeds to the scales!

Wallah, it's so true! Let me tell you all one thing. When we make a dua (supplication), we expect Allah ﷻ to accept it soon, but later Allah ﷻ blesses us with something better, and we forget about the dua we made earlier! The most beautiful thing is that Allah ﷻ accepts all our duas and gives them to us when it's the right time for us to receive them. Allah gives us what we need, not necessarily what we want!
سبحان الله 🥺
Instead of worrying about why our duas aren't accepted, let's focus on how many duas Allah ﷻ has accepted.
الحمدلله 🥹

Sayyiduna ‘Utaarid Qurashi رَضِيَ اللهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ has reported that the Prophet of Rahmah صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّم said, ‘When Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ grants His bondman the ability to thank Him عَزَّوَجَلٌ then does not deprive him of an increase in blessings because He عَزَّوَجَلَّ has said:
لَبِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ
If you give thanks, I will give you more
