I haven’t taken out my sewing machine this trip. I’ve decided to do some hand embroidery on some older projects to finish the tops. The first one I finished is Itsy Bitsy Spider. Pattern is by Meags & Me. Fabric is from my stash. I pattern tested both of these quilts for them

The second one (also by Meags and Me) is called Into The Woods. Both of these quilt tops are two of my favorites! Fabrics used in this one are also from my stash.

finished a recent sewing project :) it’s a bit lopsided but it’s my first time doing something like this!

My mini polychrome floral hexagon quilt stickers are finally listed in my online shop! They are 1/18th scale of a quilt I finished one year ago! The original quilt is a labor of love, made from various new and vintage prints and solid cotton fabric pieces. Each piece of fabric was lovingly sourced from estate sales and vintage vendors, or hand-dyed using fiber reactive dyes. All fabric pieces are held in a hexagon shape and sewn using a hand-sewing technique called English Paper Piecing. This artistic vision was inspired by abstract painting and draws from my formal painting background as a multi-disciplinary artist.

Latest finish. All free motion quilted. One yard of gorgeous fabric by Moda in their Gradients Auras line. Satin backing. Four or five colors of thread.

I’m thinking this one would be amazing stretched on a canvas hanging on the wall and can’t decide if I’m going to keep it or sell it.
