I had a nice pastel jelly roll and found this cute pattern at MSQC. I picked out the light teal for the pinwheel accent and a soft beige for the border and binding and did some simple straight line quilting on my domestic.

I should do this again. It was fun and fast and looks great.

I wanted to do something different, so I grabbed the closest colours to the palette I could in the Northcott solid line and tried it.

Here are two of the sixteen plaid blocks I made for the quilt pattern. They went together quicker then I thought they would.

Well, these are definitely not my colours, but I did pick this colour palette for just that reason! I even quilted flowers on it because the colour palette was called Flower on a Log.

I like the pattern and will be doing it again, but I think next time the colours will be more *me*.

My husqvarna is a baby and needs to be babied, and does a lot of beautiful things.

My juki will sew velcro to six layer of vinyl (plus 2 layers batting) without thinking. And it has its own thread tree for my 5000 meter spools.

She fast. She so fast.

I love her.

She will sew my fingers to my fabric if I look away for half a second.

to be honest I think working on a sewing machine strains my eyes as much as being on a computer does. However, I am incentivized to remain alert and focused by keeping my fingers within stabbing distance of a needle making 60 stitches per minutes.

AAAAAAAAA THEY'RE FINALLY DONE!! MY BOYSSS

It's been so long since I felted and this felt so good. Like I already mentioned, I used wool from gay rams for them (so poetic!!). Not exclusively, since the colours didn't 100% match. But all the dark parts and most of Mello's blond coat is made with RainbowWool and I can't thank them enough for sending me some of their wool!! 🧡🧡🧡

This was the first heart I did in this pattern. I loved it so much I made two more.

This was made with a layer cake, two different accents, and some border fabric.

It’s laid out on a queen, but it’s terribly short all the way around. A twin or double would be better.

I really love how dramatic the black around the center heart looks.

sometimes I think about some Loop designs and how Loop could secretely be made to last no longer than the 2 days inside the loop and just a few days afterward. Like the luna moth. no mouth or digestive system. They starve.

he does HAVE something to represent odile and bonnie too,,, it's not just his partners (romantic & queerplatonic), he's got his family too, i just don't know where to put them yet :) so for now assume he is carrying them in his multitude of pockets!!
