I've always had POVs and ideas for stories in my head but I stored them away in my notes app or my diary. But this one, I wanted to share. Quick Update :

Hello friends, you may not know me. let me introduce myself, I'm a good friend of Elryuse. It is with a very heavy heart that I have to give you this unpleasant news. Currently, Elryuse's condition is not good and needs to be treated in a hospital temporarily. He asked me to hold his Tumblr account for a while. The time needed for him to recover will take approximately 1-2 months. I won't tell you what symptoms he is experiencing, but the doctor has confirmed that his illness is not critical. Maybe you have also noticed that he rarely produces new content and stories. And all this time, He has been harboring this pain without telling anyone, which makes me sad too. But, before he was treated, he gave a message to me and all his friends, that after he recovered, he would be more active and would try harder to please all of you. Once again, as a good friend of Elryuse, I apologize if this news seems sudden. I will also help him to monitor his account while he is resting. Please help with prayers and support for Elryuse's recovery.

I'm obviously late here but happy new year. Sorry for the crickets since I posted Part 1 of Chapter 2. Without getting too personal, I know people don't want that, here's why I've been away:

My mother-in-law is sick and they are pretty certain it's later-stage cancer. We are waiting for the final results but we've been traveling back to England to spend time with my husband's family.

Our lease is ending this month and our landlord isn't renewing so we are moving.

I've recently started taking anti-depressants because I'm struggling with my mental health. I haven't been in a good place for several months. Several things have happened that have really messed me up mentally and I've been in survival mode.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates. Once we get settled from our move (Feb or March time), I will be making some fixes to the current demo as some different issues have been reported over the last couple of months. After that, I will begin work again on completing Chapter 2 and try to be more consistent with at least a monthly update on here.

I'm sorry that I've been flaky over the last year. 2023 was incredibly difficult for me personally and for my family, as I'm sure it was for many others. I am feeling positive about 2024 and I can only say this: I love this game and I am not giving up on it.

Hey Hey! Sorry for the absences, if you've been keeping up with all the updates, you'll know that we've been pretty busy this year and haven't been able to write. o(*￣▽￣*)ブ Yeahhh, School's just been eating up me and Editor T's schedules. 😩🤧 We've tried finding a good schedule for Father R to write without him getting burnt out and for me and Henchman A to be available to edit, pre-read and add our authornotes, but it's been proving to be difficult. That's why we've just settled for the goal of getting at least 2-3 chapters posted per month. It's not as many as it used to be last year, but working on the weekends seem to be the only saving grace. (￣▽￣)" There's a break coming up for Thanksgiving, so we're going to double-timing that week to try and get things posted. I cannot assure anyone that we'll get a chapter posted, but we'll have definitely made progress. I've also made a bit of a routine when it comes to writing to avoid Writer's block, and I'm proud to say Chapter 61 of SSATW is about 78% ready for posting. RAD Chapter 4 is about 64% but that's only because I haven't figured out the skeletal structure of the chapter yet- ヾ(≧ ▽ ≦)ゝ Anyways, Now that Updates are out of the way, HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY BIG GUY!!! 🥳🎉🎊🎂 Happy Birthday Father R, and thank you @thegenderfluidace for surprising him with this drawing this morning. I hope you all had a great 2023 and happy 2024! ✨

It’s been so long - just over a year, I know. 😲 I miss you and being here a lot. I’m still fighting more battles than I can handle, but while fighting them, I realized that I also deserve some small mercies. 🥰

I love reading, I love SS, I love writing, and I love helping you guys, so while I’m not fully back here or active every day like I used to, I’ll start to indulge in small visits here and there. 🥳

I don’t want to create any expectative or promise anything that I can’t deliver, so I created a FAQ page to address common questions, and to outline my plans for sharing content in future interactions.

🫖 Wu’s Teas: An Update 🫖

Hello, yes I’m still alive!

If you’ve been a long time follower, you’ll know that back in 2017 I started a custom tea line over on Adagio to bring Ninjago fun from the screen to your cup. The collection is called “Ninjago: A Collection From Steeper Wisdom By Brittney D” if you want to search it up. 😉

Well, I accidentally left it be for a while and…

…welp, that happened.

But no need to fret, I’m on the case!

For “Ninja Never Quit” and “Sharp Witted Sensei”, the pomegranate black tea used has been discontinued, so it’ll be replaced with a pomegranate green tea. Thankfully, it shouldn’t effect the taste too much.

For Kai and Jay’s blends, the ginger tea used has been discontinued and replaced with a double ginger blend.

For “Sweet-Toothed Troublemaker”, the sprinkle inclusion is currently out of stock. If you’re waiting for the restock, the site has an option to add you email to a notification list.

Trying to break away from my unintentional hiatus but it's probably going to be a few more weeks before I'm really able to do anything art related. Thank you for those who have been worried about me. I'm okay just dealing with a lot.

Update: Still Alive

So apologies. Still living, still breathing, Still graveyard. Bit I figure I owe an update. I've been...busy. Understatement of my life. A dear friend is dealing with cancer and I'm seeing them through it as best I can.

My contact got bought out by a different much shittier company. My right hand lad left for a new state and life. Management is incompetent and we have staffing issues.

My grandmother is getting older and less responsive and living in her own world in which she repeats herself and forgets the life that is the now.

In short life is bullshite and my only solace is consuming content that people put out as an escape.

But such is life. What drama I'll share is mine and mine alone, I'll not drag others into it. I'm having a bullshite time IRL, and I just and to thank all of my mutuals and random people I didn't who make life worth experiencing during it.

Maybe I'll get back into writing when things settle. Who knows?

I just...thanks for letting me escape from the bullshite that's life right now. It helps.

One day I hope to return the favour and write something worth reading again. Until then I beg ye be patient. And know I think ye all marvelous beyond ken.

Hi guys. Unfortunately I have some very sad news. My laptop is officially dead-dead this time. And to be fair it lasted a lot longer than most laptops are expected to these days so that's something at least. We did what we could by taking it into a local computer repair place but the rest is just out of our hands since it would require saundering some parts together which there's not much point in doing because my laptop is too old to run Windows 11 which we're going to be forced to upgrade to this October.

It's honestly a miracle my dad even got it working again the first time given how old it is. Thankfully my dad still has the old hard drive which means I won't lose absolutely everything, just the newer art stuff I was working on. I can redownload a lot of the other stuff once I have a working laptop again. Not gonna lie, this whole thing really sucks but like I said at this point there's nothing more we can do. My dad is going to see if he can hook me up with a used/refurbished one though and I am so thankful for all the help I've gotten with this whole computer problem.

So yeah, Technus may have won this battle but I will win the war and I can safely say however that we fought valiantly. Plus I still have my tablet and phone to keep me sane for now until we figure something out. And you guys of course, I appreciate all your support too during these difficult times. Let's hope things die down soon, just not as literally in my laptop's case.

Hello fans! Just stopping by real quick. I'm here to let ya know that I'm not going to be posting a new chapter today. *Dodges rotten tomatoes.* I can explain! I got hit by a nasty cold on the 27th, and I've been battling it as best as I can. I don't feel up to posting like I was hoping to do.

I'm going to do my best to post before the New Year, but I don't know for sure. I'm sorry for delaying it even further my friends, I hope you can forgive me!

Hi! How are you?

Short answer and the more polite answer since I don't think people on the internet want to hear my rants - I'm managing. I'm in therapy. On medication. Getting help and just taking it one day at a time right now.

Thanks for checking in anon and anyone else who has sent a message. I haven't abandoned the game. And I know that it doesn't help that I have no update now but I'm just kind of in the "I have to get my shit together or else" kind of place right now. I've spent years and years avoiding mental health and it's caught up with me.

Rants below just to provide some sort of update on why things are where they are, but feel free to ignore them.

I'm feeling lots of feelings at the moment. It's almost May and I've not really accomplished much at all this year. My mother-in-law is in the hospital, and the NHS just wants to send her home instead of helping her. I'm feeling incredibly helpless and useless as a partner, how do you support your partner through this? Doing my best but I'm so frustrated and can't do anything to make it better or make anyone listen and help my mother-in-law.

My employer is probably going under financially and many things don't sit right with my values so I'm stressing about finding a new job. Obviously grateful to have work but it's taken a huge toll on my mental health. I've dedicated dozens of hours each week to job hunting and interviewing - I feel so burnt out but can't afford to let up.

My therapist has asked me not to do any writing of any kind. She believes I am not in a place where this is productive for my mental health. I've always used writing as an outlet. These last couple of months have been difficult. I have not touched my journals, scripts, or games. My fingers ache to write but I don't want to let all my progress go up in flames so alas, this Tumblr ask is the most I've written in months and I can only hope I get better soon so that won't be the truth. I probably shouldn't have written this even but I've been feeling so guilty, every day it crosses my mind that I've just gone MIA on here.

If you read this, you're a gem and I'm sorry if it's too personal - I just don't want anyone to think I've abandoned things. I'm just really focused on healing right now because I have to focus on it.
