I like to think he changes his voice a bit with the help of Sally, who calls him Julian or Julius (so Greek sounding).

Eddie and Frank are already friends with him, so they love him already, which makes the thought of friend crushes (also called “squishes”) very possible. with me im bi so i'm biased to assigning other characters as bi just automatically if i relate to them an all that. most of the time though i do like. fairly deep thought on it. does this actually seem to fit the character and all that.

and the thing. about Sun Wukong. is that. i cannot get a read on him. nothing fits. and you know what?? honestly??? i think not being able to get a read on him fits way better than slapping any kind of label on him

i shouldn't be able to get a read on what his deal is. he's a centuries old being with powers beyond imagination. in some ways he's borderline eldritch. it makes complete and utter sense that i don't understand what the fuck is going on here

he just has his entire own thing going on. i love this for him.

Now if I say that in asoiaf fandom, beauty and femininity of female characters are measured by how many male characters ( the upper in class the better) have desired these female characters sexually and in turn the acknowledgement of these said female characters' sexuality comes from not their own confessions but from wanting/dreading to see reciprocations of the advances made by the male characters, I will be the bad guy.

I guess it is Grrm's fault in a way. It is all very voyeuristic. The threat of rape hangs in the air for all women and we have little girls with too full breasts in too tight or barely there gowns. We are present for the bedding ceremony and taken into bedrooms which are breeding grounds of all the lascivious gossips. But the irony is that this fandom with all its intelligent takes on gender, somehow subscribes fully to the male gaze. That which makes a woman desireable to men, is beautiful and feminine.
