Finally got my Shiny Latias in Emerald last night!
This is actually a shiny I've had on the backburner for a couple years now. I actually got the idea for it back when I started hunting in the Battle Pyramid as the Pomeg Glitch that I used to smuggle in items actually spawned the Eon Ticket Delivery guy in the pokemon center, meaning I got the ticket by complete accident. It's actually really fun glitch that I'd really recommend looking into if you're struggling in the Pyramid or want some really interesting new targets.
I had a whole elaborate strategy by using Imprison to disable Recover and then using Conversion 2 to become completely immune to it's attacks on a second Smeargle after weakening Latias with the first. But I got really unlucky as Conversion 2 turns you into a random type that resists whatever you were last hit by, meaning I had an equal chance of becoming either steel or psychic type instead of Dark Type like I wanted. This led to me wasting turns on healing and the battle dragging out longer than I wanted. So I cut my losses with trying to catch it in a Luxury Ball and just Master Balled it.

oh boy I just finished the archon quest and I have a theory...
tl;dr I think that the abyss twin's memories were rewritten so that they see khaenri'ah as their home due to being assimilated into teyvat (recorded in irminsul). just like how greater lord rukkhadevata was "forgotten" to cleanse irminsul of forbidden knowledge, the abyss twin was probably a descender who is no longer a descender because they (somehow) found a way (or was forced) to assimilate to teyvat. sumeru's memories and history were rewritten to accommodate rukkhadevata being forgotten. abyss twin's memories must have been rewritten in the same way because if they are to be recorded in irminsul, their external knowledge must be removed beforehand. so yeah, they might be brainwashed to thinking khaenri'ah is their true home. (whether or not they're aware of this is another thing entirely)
and I think a lot of the questions/revelations paimon and nahida posed are misdirections from the writers. abyss twin is not originally from teyvat, everyone just assumes they are from the facts. the story places great importance on the traveler's memories being reliable and correct, probably the only source of truth that's hard question. so I don't think we should doubt their memories being false. if they remember their twin as someone they traveled worlds together with, even if everyone else including the abyss twin thinks otherwise, it's probably as correct as them remembering rukkhadevata even if the rest of teyvat doesn't remember them.
okay now for other detailed thoughts that led to the tl;dr section:
first of all, is it really strange that the abyss twin is recorded in irminsul? I feel like this question is a misdirection. isn't it more strange that the traveler is not recorded by irminsul? why is "being external to teyvat" a reason to not be recorded? irminsul contains memories of teyvat. if teyvat doesn't want to keep memories of you... do you even exist? I mean we know what happened to rukkhadevata, so...
(although I understand traveler's memories have more weight than irminsul, since they're practically immortal and will outlive teyvat, or so zhongli believes. hence his story quests of him asking traveler to record in their own memories. this is also reiterated in sumeru because only traveler — and maybe venti — remembers rukkhadevata now. ei and zhongli in their voicelines refer to nahida as buer and doesn't mention or imply knowing her past incarnation).
but this also means that irminsul is selective of the memories it records. why? likely because it wants to remove forbidden/external knowledge. this begs the question of if even the irminsul was created for this purpose or if this mechanism of it is being controlled
second: are there really only four descenders, or is it that only four descenders have remained long enough to still be categorized as descenders? for example, if we are to believe the traveler's memories (and we probably should, since as mentioned above they are regarded by the story to be reliable), then the abyss twin should be a descender but maybe they no longer are anymore. like maybe they are forced by the sustainer of heavenly principles to become part of the world (but then why wasn't traveler?) or they themselves found a way to become part of the world and be recognized by teyvat.
the only other confirmed descender are the heavenly principles (celestia) and they were the ones who shaped teyvat the way it is now, so...
(tangent: the other decender is likely alice and maaaaaybe venti, but idk how much venti counts as one. he's a strand of istaroth who is one of the four shades of the primordial one aka just another alias of the heavenly principles. kinda fuzzy on that one. so he's more like... a strand of a descender? lol. although that would make sense since his memories are also not affected by teyvat's shenanigans. I think there's a descender from the fatui's ranks as well — it could explain their technological advancement).
anyway, this begs the question of: how does one avoid being recognized by teyvat/irminsul for this long? especially given how controlling celestia is. see, isn't it stranger that the traveler is still considered external to teyvat?
if the abyss twin was forced to assimilate to teyvat by the sustainer, I think maybe the traveler was also supposed to as well but only managed to escape because they slept for 500y and something happened in their slumber that prevented them from being recognized by teyvat. (maybe it was their purification power, or venti supposedly visiting their dreams, idk).
third: there has to be a reason we get these lore revelations after the sumeru storyline, so I do think we got enough clues to figure out the puzzle. putting all this together, rulkhadevata's story illustrates the rules of what irminsul accepts and rejects. so we can infer from there. if the traveler's memories are reliable (and they seem to be!), and if the abyss twin is recorded in irminsul, this means the abyss twin is an external being of teyvat that found a way to become part of teyvat's laws. what does this imply? to be recorded in irminsul, you cannot have forbidden knowledge or that would corrupt teyvat. so the abyss twin should no longer have external knowledge anymore. and if they are missing memories, their other memories must have been rewritten (like sumeru's history was) to fill in the gaps and make their history consistent and logical. this might explain why abyss twin is fixated on khaenri'ah. it is their home, in their mind.
to go a step further, although this is now wild theory time and not supported by facts: what if the abyss twin fell to khaenri'ah during the cataclysm, entered teyvat's samsara, and was reincarnated (like nahida) but now with rewritten memories since they went through irminsul?
fourth: at the end of the abyss twin's journey, their "fate is obfuscated." this is interesting. I lean on the theory that the constellations are destinies written by celestia to keep teyvat in control. abyss twin doesn't seem to have a vision, so it looks like even if they assimilated to teyvat, perhaps celestia is still unable to control their destiny? I wonder if, at the end of the journey, they were able to realize their situation and break free? or maybe this is another situation entirely...
WHEW so much to think about, sorry for the word vomit. this was literally just me writing my thoughts out, no editing lmao

This has been sittting in my drafts forever so id figured id post it finally. theres no other part i was just motivated by the mercer attack scene (Nirelle is my high elf character)
Nirelle couldn't do anything except watch as Mercer pulled back his arm and snapped it forward. It landed perfectly between the edges of her armor, slicing through her winter underclothes with a practiced ease. The blade effortlessly slid between her ribs and into her chest. A fiery pain like no other tore through her, ravaging through her entire body. She tried to scream but the poisoned arrow wouldn't let her, only a soft gasp of air escaping as her chest heaved with the weight of the blade. She tried in vain to lash out, to thrash, to roll herself away from the monster of a man standing above her.
She couldn't even blink.
All at once, the fire smothered out, leaving her sapped of energy. Her body felt vacant, empty, and detached from her mind. She could just barely make out the soft red glow emanating from Mercer's blade as he wrenched it from her. She watched in horror as the small scratch on his face healed.
So that's what the enchantment was.
She didn't feel anything after that. Maybe that was for the best. Her vision began to blur, shapes and colors blending together. The last thing she could make out was the triumphant grin on Mercer's face, and the old bones of Gallus. She felt a sort of morbid kinship with the skeleton in the snow. Both of them cold, hollow, and unmoving. Left to die by a man they once trusted.

𝐗𝐕. It is no exaggeration to say that Jué is everything to someone like Jinhsi, whose growth is far from any other person due to a lack of parents or parental figures in her life. When she had yet to have the first suspicions about the dead infant of the stories of Mt. Firmament being her, Jué was there for her in mind and spirit, teaching her and sharing with her its own life in bits and pieces that wouldn't deter her from her maximum growth potential it had first seen when their resonance reverberated in unison before she passed away. Its way of teaching her about the world and to transmit with time that future responsibility she would have, of a sacred duty towards human gave her ethereal insights of a bigger picture in comparison to more mundane and humane, equally as important perspective from other mentors she had in her life such as Xinyi and Changli.
Despite lacking a physical presence in her life for most of the time, their connected consciousness allowed it to soothe her from her nightmares and inner struggles every time like a most special treasure that would continue to be even in the moment of their confrontation when Jué put Jinhsi's safety above its own life.
When the tales of the dead infant manifested as a reality true to her own past and with it, the realization that Jué hid its suffering from her for the past decades, it didn't become any different from what it already was for her. With that discovery came eternal gratitude for reviving her even at the cost of a Temporal Program and everything that would entail its loss of entire control over the Temporal Mandate, but also that of grief and regret for being unable to perceive earlier its struggles after it has helped her overcome her own every time.
Jinhsi is aware of Jué's kindness towards her in its choice to freeze the entirety of Jinzhou at the detriment of its own life with hopes for the future that it'll be saved, and it is not out of some manner of defiance towards a figure that had given so much for her and that was about to consume itself in its entirety to keep her safe, but because she wanted to give Jué a chance to life just the way it did for her when her strength gave up on her in her infancy. For this reason, responsible as she has always been with the powers she bore since she was a child, after her Second Resonance Awakening she works tirelessly to master her powers as she would for the first time —now that they encompass much more and their influence is significantly higher than they were before— so one day she may restore Jué's health to completion.

The Gods were ecstatic, Their very being were quaking with excitement minus Zeus whom was put in the time out corner.
They been waiting for eons for a New Godling to form since Arthur and Merlin, but the new generation of humankind can't even do one simple translation of the supposed dead language that until Spirit Piece of Kronos now named Clockwork mention a godling of Balance and Space will form between the living and the dead that has gotten Hades's interest peaked.
So begins the ritual once more on whom get to care for the baby Godling once or hopefully This child will be complete his prophecy quest with the Ancients Gods and Goddess watching over form above and below. In hopefully anticipation..
Seeing the ghostly child defeat many infinite deceased spirits of long passed gods including helping kindred spirits such as Pandora, Frostbite of the Frozen Giant Yetis, Wolfe and even Clockwork to the point of defeating his evil future self, beating the tyrant mad infinite king, and saving the very planet from a world ending asteroid that was due to certain someone accidentally sneezing.
The time has arrived as he had completed his final trials to the point that the Three Sister of Fate see that his string that translucent into a beautiful woven of blinding gold mixed with blue and green together into a neverending infinite so like the infinite string yet seemingly finally merging and slowly changing into one a godling, one of both living and deceased never one or the other.
A perfect balance.
As the time of being with mortals was now over as Danny whom just went to bed after a year of the supposed world ending asteroid, disappeared in a vanishing of golden stardust.
Only to wake up in the middle of a very large table on a ridiculous soft space designed cot meant for baby, only to noticed his hands were small and pudgy before noticing that he had a audience discussing or arguing on who get to raise the Godling

Yandere Head Canons:
The Wishing Well
Yandere Kraken x Fem Reader
TW: Tentacles, teratophillia, monster fucking, etc
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When you were a child, you were often told about a wishing well deep within a sea cave. A well that would grant you any wish your heart desired so long as you made a deal of equal standing with the magical creature that resided in it. Yet most of your fellow villagers said the price was always worth more than what you desired… and the forest was extremely dangerous.
There was a tale about a king who had wished for more riches, yet he returned from the well with no hands so he could no longer hold the gold he had so foolishly sought out.
There was another tale of a woman who went to the well to wish for a child, yet she returned from the well with a round stomach. The villagers all said her baby was a monster.
You were told only one good story about the well. A story of a man who had went to the well to wish for his wife’s health to improve. A hopeless romantic, your peers called him. A man who successfully made a wish and had his wife healed from her incurable disease… yet he never returned from that well. The villagers all assumed the worse, that he sacrificed his own life for his lover…
These stories terrified you as child so you never really thought about the well. At least not until you reached adulthood, anyways. When your village was being threatened by orcs from foreign lands. Your village would perish if they didn’t surrender all of their women to the invaders.
Your villages population was mostly elderly people so there were only ten options of women to send off and you were one of them. You didn’t want to be the whore of an invader, you wanted to marry your lover, Valo… a handsome young man who lived by the seaside on his own. He was a bit eccentric, but you could see yourself with him.
There was only one way to save yourself and your village. And that would be to use the well.
And so you journeyed deep into the frozen sea cave on your quest to liberate your land. Your hopes high despite the small bit of dread that pooled into your stomach. The price shouldn’t be too bad… no. It didn’t matter what the price was. Because you’d rather die than lose your dignity.
Your journey took over three hours, but you finally stood in front of the old well. It was so much larger than the stories had described… and it seemed bottomless from how pitch black the water was.
“H-hello? I’m here to make a wish.” You yelped when a masked face popped up from the well. The man’s muscular upper torso leaned on the edge of the well to stare at you.
“A wish?” The man’s voice was raspy, almost as if he hadn’t spoken in eons. “I haven’t received a wish yet… okay. I’ll grant your wish if I like it.”
What did this man mean by that? Was he the creature of the well? You tried to see what was behind the man’s upper torso yet it was impossible to get around this man.
“No need to be shy. I want to hear what your wish is. You’re the first human I have seen.” Oh? But this well has been here for generations… perhaps the creature within it changed every so often?
“I’m here to save my village from invaders.” You gasped when he grabbed your jaw to tilt your head towards him.
“How noble… I don’t believe that’s all you want though. You’re hesitant.” The man chuckled at your flushed cheeks. “Are you afraid of me?”
You cast your gaze to the floor which made the man burst into laughter. “Goodness! How fun! Please be honest or else you had made this journey for naught.”
“The other girls and I will be sacrificed to the invaders to be… to be their wives or slaves.” Your voice is so soft yet it echoed throughout the icy cave. “Please help my village! I don’t want to be with someone I don’t love-“
You felt your heart stop when the man’s masked face was now only a few inches from yours. His violet eyes studied your form in interest before he sat up. “You’re not lying and I find you quite pretty.”
The man snapped his fingers and a contract appeared from thin air, the words written on it were in an olden tongue you couldn’t grasp. “I will grant your wish but you must sign this contract. I don’t want you to butt out of our end of the deal.”
“Deal?” You’re puzzled by the man who laughed at your gobsmacked expression.
“Duh. Wishes aren’t for free otherwise more people would come to me.” The man nodded his head at her.
“But what is it that you want from me?” You asked the man who merely gave you a smirk.
“I’ll tell you once your little invader issue is resolved. Until then, you’re free to go about your life.” You bit your lip but ultimately signed, the man quickly snatched up the contract as his body spun in circles in the pitch black water of the well. “I’m thrilled! It’s been so long since I’ve had company…”
The man turned to her with a grin. “You said you’ll only be with someone you love, right?”
“Yes?” The man nodded his head and snapped his fingers, the contract disappeared into thin air.
“Then it’s settled. I will collect you when the time is right.” The man then waved you away as you made your long journey home. The man was now absolutely giddy. Was this how his mother felt when she met his father all those centuries ago? He was so happy that you were indeed the one.
You did go about your life and was surprised to hear how a kraken destroyed the invaders’ ships. It was a terrifying site to see the dismembered bodies and ship wreckage on the frozen shores of your home… yet it was satisfying. Everyone was safe, just as promised.
There was no longer the threat of foreign invaders… which meant you were able to spend more time with your lover. The violet haired man beamed at you when he invited you to walk on the icy beach with him.
“Once winter is over, why don’t we get married?” Valo blushed when you took his hand in yours. “The sea is always bursting with life in the summer…”
“I’d love to.” The two of you giggled in bliss. Yet you couldn’t help the nagging feeling in the back of your mind that the man from the well would call upon you soon to pay off your end of the deal…
After that day with Valo, you were plagued with nightmares of a creature from the deep. A violet kraken that wrapped its tentacles around your small body and plunged you into the depths of the dark ocean. The tendrils would squeeze you in ways that were salacious. The violet appendages would shove their way down your throat and into your poor hole. It was such a terrifying nightmare, one that always felt so real.
You’d often wake up with sore arms, legs, and sometimes sore nether regions from these dreams. Perhaps you should spend more time with Valo? Your lover always made you feel more comfortable…
And it was now summer! The two of you were going to get married soon, anyways. It wouldn’t hurt to see Valo…
And so you went to your lover’s home on the shore. Your fellow villagers quirked a brow at you. They never knew why you went to the beach so often with a smile on your face since you always came back empty handed.
No one had lived on that shore for centuries after the fisherman disappeared to save his wife at the well in the sea cave.
“Valo?” You approach the violet haired man who gives you a bright smile. His violet eyes eerily shine under the moonlight as his body remained half submerged in the sea.
“My dear, it’s time to pay off your debt.” You freeze when you hear the familiar voice of the man from the well leave Valo’s throat. “You said you’d only be with someone you love, so it’s time for you to pay your dues.”
You scream when violet tentacles shoot out from the murky water and wrap around you. What? But… how? These were the tentacles from your nightmares. The violet tendrils that wrapped themselves skeins your pliable body when you were in dream world… the tendrils that fucked you.
“V-Valo?!”
“I’m sure you’ll love our new home… it isn’t often a kraken finds their mate.”

There's a lot to be said about the weaknesses and strengths of the writing in Dragon Age games, but for me there's nothing that trumps the way the writers' implicit biases shine through in their treatment of various characters. Anders and Solas showcase the very worst of this. Functionally Anders and Solas could (and I would go so far as to say should) operate as foils to one another. Anders is a victim of decades of abuse at the hands of both individuals and a system that demonized him from a very young age. We are given information about his childhood and time spent in the circle that makes it explicitly clear that Circles are an unjust and abusive system that traumatized him so much that he fled multiple times regardless of the fact that he knew the abuse would escalate each time he escaped. In the end, he chooses to chance death and lifelong struggle via conscription because it is his only shot at escaping his current reality. After that, in DA2, it's made clear that Kirkwall's circle is even worse. Karl is made tranquil, the templars are mad with power, and it's heavily implied that the tranquil are utilized as sex slaves and that some templars may even be selecting mages for tranquility based on their desire for them alone. In the light of all of that, Anders makes a very desperate and destructive choice. Regardless of how players feel about his actions, it's not really up for debate that the context surrounding them creates mitigating circumstances and a sympathetic backing. He was attempting to affect positive change for a group of people facing fates that the game makes clear are worse than death. Despite this, the game's writing treats him as an unsympathetic villain whose actions are not only reprehensible, but completely beyond the realm of human understanding. That dynamic at the end of DA2 carries into DAI. Solas, on the other hand, is on a quest to undo his own actions. His initial construction of the Veil and the problems that it caused can be viewed with (some) similarity to Anders circumstances in that Solas was attempting to right a wrong done by someone else, but the key difference is that, unlike Anders, who was a powerless victim attempting to free other powerless victims, Solas was on a revenge quest to avenge the death of his friend and had an incredible amount of power within the system that he existed as a part of.
His actions had horrific consequences that birthed what is essentially an entirely new existence for everyone in Thedas eons before the start of any of the games. He finds the outcome of his own actions intolerable, and seeks to reverse them. He harms friends and allies to do so, and makes it explicitly clear that he does not care who he harms or what the consequences are to Thedas or the people who live there in his quest to bring back the version of the world that he liked better. Functionally, Solas makes an excellent villain. He stands out from Anders (who operates in his narrative as a symbol of the rage and disenfranchisement of the powerless) as a representation of power and ego unchecked and the damage that they can cause.
Unfortunately, the writing of the game treats him as though he is the tragically complex victim of forces outside of his control when he is in fact the over-powered puppeteer. He is very much the master of his own destiny and he intends to be the master of everyone else's destiny as well by ripping apart the fabric of reality. No character in the series better demonstrates the writer's biases than Varric, who, as a narrator for DA2, essentially acts as the moral arbiter telling players how they should and should not feel about events, explaining what is and is not moral. His reactions to Anders stand out in sharp relief against what we see of his reaction to Solas in the Veilguard releases so far.
To be clear, I don't hate Solas as a character. I think as a villain, he works very well. His complete and total disregard for the wellbeing of others paired with his affect of wise and gentle mage are compelling to witness. His motivations are understandable from the selfish and self-centered core of us as people. He's a fantastic reminder of what happens when we decide that we know what's best with no input from others, when we pursue our desires above all else beneath the veneer of wisdom. He's fun, well rounded, and interesting. He is not, however, a tragic and morally justified sadboi victim of circumstance, and I resent that the writers treated him as though he was.

The One Fact Pact
I want to see a fic where the chain is rigorously keeping their secrets and stories hidden, but they've all learned to trust one another. Like, it's past time they should probably be sharing things because it's beginning to get annoying, they all agree, but it's sorta become a habit by now? They kept those secrets and now no one really wants to share first?
So, to keep things interesting and get some momentum going, they make a deal.
Whenever they come across something that reminds them of their travels, their quest - be it an item, a familiar name, a location - they've got to share ONE fact or story about it.
But only! When they're in other people's time, because otherwise it'll just be a staged tour and one person infodumping and that's exactly what they're trying to avoid (and it won't be a fun competition they can make bets about).
And then either they go through worlds slowly building trust and understanding of each other through a long drawn out and incidental series of tidbits....
Or they immediately get stuck in wild's hyrule for ages.
Everyone's arguing over who the latest ruin belongs to. Time and wind are getting into an argument about the kokiri. No one can agree on the zonai. Wars is taking immense pleasure in pointing out anything someone else might have missed. Legend is resolutely ignoring eventide. Twilight claims the entire faron woods until they step into the hot and humid jungle for the first time.
Wild thinks he's immune because it's his world so he legally can't answer questions, but everywhere they visit there's a piece of his own story in the rubble or on the wind.
Wild: *happily making tea and checking his slate with the other hand* okay, looks like tomorrow we can reach the breach of demise and to new serenne stable. Just past that- Sky: *choking on his drink* the what?? Wild: the breach? Sky, weakly: Why's it uh, called that? Wild: oh, it's an old story. Apparently eons ago it's where a demon godking came up from underground to the surface world... *suspiciously* Why? Sky: gimme the slate. *squinting at the shape on the map*... I can neither confirm nor deny. Wild:... What do you mean? Sky, remembering the One Fact Pact: I can neither confirm nor deny. What's important is that I killed him. The entire chain, variously: YOU KILLED A DEMON GOD?!!? Sky *recalling the hardest fight of his life*: what, like it's hard?
And then he just refuses to elaborate.

c!Tubbo animatic in 2024 let's go
FAQ:
Link in rb
This centers on c!Tubbo but c!Beeduo and their storyline are featured heavily
Yes, I am new here. In 2024. Does that make me cringe? Probably. Do I care? No
This isn't the first animatic I posted about here that one's still under construction. I made this to counteract burnout from it
I'm here to have fun and make stuff; these fictional minecraft dudes and their piglet have broken my art block for the first time in eons and I will not be deterred from my quest for joy and whimsy
I am running off of sheer vibes here. canon is but an auxiliary to the plot in my head

Watching her fall in love
Tumblr media
A/n: DISCLAIMER, I just wanna clear out that I HATE Mikio, OR LOATHE him. The man died too quickly for my liking. But I am currently at an emotional but productive mode in my Mizu x Reader fanfic. I needed to vent some writing. I just needed to write somethings to hurt myself, so now I would like to share my pain. I kept this one vague but clear cause certain parts would likely be in the fanfic. So please bear with its corniness and i do hope you enjoy and share some thoughts at the comment section how to make Mikio's suffering a bit more satisfying
Pairing: Mizu x Reader
Series: Blue Eye Samurai
You know she deserves to be happy. There was no reason for her to continue her vengeance now that her mother was actually alive and now has been encouraging Mizu to leave your debt and settle down with the man her mother had found that will surely provide for her.
Not that Mizu was not cared for in your home, with a small dowry left by your deceased father and the a simple home on a piece of land from your husband who worked tirelessly to own for your future before circumstances decided to rob you of the life that you could’ve had with him let alone have a child of your own.
After coming to terms with things, you swear to never love any other man than your husband. But the tides of fate didn’t really like that.
You were on your way home when you found a wounded Mizu on your way. Lucky enough, your place was near when she came stumbling in your arms clutching her bleeding side. In your home, you treated her, fed her and provided her all the necessary things to hasten her recovery despite her constant attempts to deny any more further gestures.
Your persistence rivaled hers and she can’t really do anything than just accept it if she wants to continue her quest for revenge. But she days go by and she can finally function properly, the closer she has become to you. Of course you already knew that she was a woman, tending to her wounds did require you to have her lay bare before you while under unconsciousness. But her eyes, a part of  her body that she has come to hate as it was the most visible defect of how she is immediately considered as a monster. You were no stranger to being cast aside so you know how to provide her the right words and comfort.
From that point on, she’s been your constant company either at your small plantation or someone to share food on the dining table. With her harsh childhood and upbringing, Mizu’s cold exterior was very hard but once you do reach her,  she is as gentle as a spring water bathing you in in cold warmth under a harsh sun.
“You know that I’ll leave as soon as I reach recovery,” she said with a frown as she sat across from you from the entryway. The evening was  young but the skies were burned by a millions suns from eons away and the full moon lingering among them. You looked at her as she did as well, there was a hint of sadness in her icy blue eyes.
“I know, and I will not force you to stay, if this path is what you need to find peace at the end of your road, then do so. Just know that when you’re ready  to find your peace, my doors are open to your company,” you offered a smile, one that she did return. One that had you marveling at it all throughout the night.
You haven't come to terms with your feelings with Mizu for quite a while and believed that you really cared for platonically. She has found a great friendship with you and you to her.
As a ‘friend’, you were lucky enough to be there at the small ceremony. Mikio didn’t want anything to do with her and denied any act of consummating their union. But Mizu didn’t worry much as you have provided a great company. Cracks to your resolve showed when you had succeeded to provide Mizu an opportunity to create connection with her husband. You had encouraged her to try approaching the man and keep in mind how persistent he is with that one particular horse he has been taming for days in your observation. Soon, Mizu was having a small conversation with Mikio while you watched.
Watching Mizu’s rough demeanor crumble so easily in his presence was infuriating, an emotion you quick to shut out. Guilt tripping was made easier upon having small conversations with Mizu’s mother who Thanked you for being there for Mizu and helping her create a relationship with Mikio.
“Now that she’s out of your hair, you can finally find a husband as well, your still you my dear,” Mizu’s mother trails, but your attention was on the couple emerging from the green hills riding a horse along the orange horizon. Your eyes on Mizu, laughing, so free. An expression you never once got from her.
The final realization of your love for her was followed by a tsunami of heartbreak as you watched her capture her husbands lips in a kiss by a big tree that you came passing by. You watch her submit to his touch, lifting her legs off the ground and press tender kisses on her neck. You hid by a tree, back against it. You stare up the orange skies as you feel every thing inside you tear itself apart.
A/n: I Just needed to feel pain.

He always had hated his mother. Ever since adolescence, the thought of her made his skin crawl. He hated how she was brave, and how that meant he had to be brave. He hated how she was born from her father's head.
How she had a city named after her. How she was gracious to everyone except for him. How she cursed him with immortality.
He hated how he couldn't hate his mother. His mother cursed you.
Tumblr media
Like everyone was to him, you were a glimpse. A glance taken around the lecture hall. Eyes mistakenly landing on yours. That's all anyone could be for him; a simple glance.
You were beautiful though, he noticed. At least to him you were. No other boys seemed to glance in your direction for very long. He took another look at you.
Your hair was pulled up messily, your shirt had stains on it, yet you were beautiful. You scribbled on a piece of paper at your seat across the lecture hall from him. Positively not paying attention to the biology professor in the front of the room.
You. You. He found you, yet again.
He remembered you suddenly, a blurry memory that he couldn't put the date on. Your hair. He recognized your hair. He saw it over all the lifetimes he lived.
But why couldn't he know your name? The name from your first lifetime.
"y/n!" he remembered screaming.
"Minho! Go run! Run!" you cried.
y/n, that was your name.
y/n.
The girl who died in Pompeii. The girl who he begged for his mother to spare, to bring back to him.
"Minho?" a tap awoke him from his thought.
He turned around to face you, it was you. "What's your name?" he immediately asked even though he knew you.
"y/n and you're Minho," you smile.
"You know me?" he asks.
You pause, "you don't know me?"
I've known you for eons he says in his head.
He thought of Pompeii. "Pompeii?" he questions out loud.
"You remember Pompeii?"
"I remember you," he whispered.
Tumblr media
You had the blanket covering you from the coldness of your room. The landlord just wouldn't fix your heater, even if it was in the middle of winter.
"Fucking hell," Minho mumbles as he enters your room, "it's cold as fuck in here."
"You can thank my shitty landlord for that, he won't fix the damn heater."
"I'll get you an electrician, it's like below freezing in here," Minho mumbles.
"With what money?"
"Sweetheart I'm immortal, I have more than enough money to my name after thousands of years of existing," he reminds you.
"I forget you're literally like Edward Cullen, you freaking vampire," you chuckle.
"I am not Edward Cullen," he persists.
He was now laying next to you, "I am not as pale as him," he continues.
"Are you wearing jeans on my bed right now?" you look at him with disgust.
Tumblr media
"Minho," you blurt.
The noise from the TV above the fireplace becoming background music in your ears. "Mhm," he hums, his eyes fixated on the TV screen.
"Are you brave?" you ask, "like, your mom is Athena, so are you like her, are you fearless? Do you have no quest too grand to conquer?"
He chuckles, "no, I'm quite cowardly," he replies.
Tumblr media
"Why can't she live?" he begs his mother.
"Minho, she is still alive," his mother reminds him.
"Yeah but for how long? How long until she is gonna die? How long until I have to look for her in her next life?" he yells in despair.
"Minho she is cursed with reincarnation, you know there is nothing you can do."
Tumblr media
"Minho?" you ask the boy who is laying next to you in bed.
He looks up at you, "make love to me?" you ask.
He is gentle when he makes love to you, just like always. He kisses over your skin and takes your breast into his mouth like always. But this time feels different. Like he is studying your body. Like this will be the last time he holds you.
You don't question his desperation, figuring it was just due to the lack of time you had spent with him recently.
He gently pushes into you and watches over every way your face contorts with pleasure. He holds you close to him as he buries himself inside your cunt. Mumbling sweet words into your ear while you cum around him.
Taking his time building up his own orgasm before spilling into you his seed.
Tumblr media
"Minho," you call out to him, he perks his head up and looks at you, "tell me the story of how we first met," you request.
You curl up into his side, his arms draped around you lovingly.
"Well, we were both kids, living in the village next to Pompeii, your mother was a baker and your father was a farmer. Your parents prayed to my mother, and my mother sent me to bless them one night," he pauses, rubbing circles on your lower back, "and so I walked into your house, and was going to leave the money my mother had sent me to give to your parents but you saw me. You thought I was stealing from you," he chuckles at the memory, "and then instead of doing the logical thing like waking your parents up, you handed me a piece of bread and told me that I didn't have to steal food. D'you remember that?" he asks softly.
"Mhm," you nod your head, "and you told me your little secret," you recall.
Tumblr media
He's never been more sure of anything in his entire life. This he knows, he knows he is tired of watching you die.
He knows he must die to break your cycle of reincarnation.
He holds the knife to his wrists and doesn't think twice before cutting them.
He'll wait for you in the underworld. And that is the only comfort he has as life leaves his body. Knowing you and him will one day be reunited.
Tumblr media
You sit next to the headstone where he is buried and wipe away any of the dirt and grime that has accumulated on the surface.
The word 'brave' carved into the stone right below his name.
