Mood Board for my 9-1-1 OC Melanie "Mel" Narvaez. She's quite literally all i can think about. Might make one for her girlfriend Daphne "Dee" Monroe. Obviously another OC. They're super Bubbeline coded btw. This is for a seperate fic idea that's not on my pinned post. I think I'm gonna call it LAFD: Fire Queers (🔥🏳️‍🌈 if ya wanna make me write the drabbles). Its about Buck being a bisexual disaster (affectionate) and his relationship with being bi and with Hen and Eddie (cuz yes even tho i ship Bucktommy i still headcanon Eddie as queer and this story is about Buck's queerplatonic relationships mostly) but also diving into his relationship with Tommy and Buck just not being chill about it at all. Also Maddie supremacy (cuz i have a big fat gay crush on her) so she makes an appearance (actually many) starting with when Chim promised to take her to get her nails done but ended up having to work so he asks Buck to go with her and on a whim decides to get his nails done too when Maddie makes a joke saying it would be fun if they got matching nails and he says it sounds like fun and she meant it as a joke but if her baby brother really wants to she'll support him so they decide on blue and this is just the start of a long habit of her enabling his fashion experimenting now that he's not bogged down by a girlfriend's expectation of his manliness. Now dont get him wrong he's still masculine and he's still buck he just doesnt give a shit what anyone thinks if he decides to enjoy pretty things, nice things (cuz like he told Tommy: "I deserve nice things" "yes you do baby"). Maybe it never would've crossed his mind if Maddie had never said that but she planted the seed and he's having fun with himself and Tommy doesnt mind (finds it endearing actually) and Maddie enables him so he'll keep it up just as long as he sees fit (but maybe its also really fun to see Tommy get riled up when he puts on his skimpy shorts and a tight crop top). Mel comes on the scene as a transfer from Kansas (When she and Dee moved to LA) and her and Buck become fast friends when she comments that she has a girlfriend and he replies with "And I have a boyfriend" because he offered to spot her on the weights and she thought he was coming onto her.

What is Pride Angels?

It is my series of angel designs in the colors of different Pride flags. I am planning to make the Pride Angels into stickers, pins, keychains, patches, and lanyards. The campaign is planned for June 2024, after Angelology IV. You can follow the pre-launch page to be notified when the campaign launches.

Can you draw X for the Pride Angels series?

Before inquiring, please check that your request is not already complete! I am not taking requests for any new flags at this time, but read on for how you can request a Pride Angel during the pin campaign. After I complete this series this year, I am not planning to make any more Pride Angels.

About the Pride Angels design request pledge tier:

If you would like to request a Pride Angel, I will have a pledge tier available in the pin campaign to pay to request one. Outside these pledge tiers I will not be accepting any requests. Please save your requests for the pin campaign!

If you nab one of the design request pledges, you can request a flag and optionally suggest a theme or inspiration. If I shared a design you liked that I ended up not going with, you could request that too.

Where can I find the 2022 Pride Angels merch?

Most of the past Pride Angels have been discontinued in my main shops, but you can still find them as pins, stickers, keychains, and patches with my stockists.

I liked an old design better. Will the old designs be available during the campaign?

Depending on order quantity I will make the 2022 Pride Angels available as stickers, keychains, pins, and patches. If they don’t meet the order threshold they will not be funded.

Can I draw a Pride Angel too?

Of course, I don’t own angels or Pride flags! If I inspired you I would love to be tagged to see and share your design.

Viktor a.k.a. TheMachineHerald — 32 years old, he/him, gay trans man, Czech-Polish — Was unable to leave the house during the peak of the pandemic and found joy and inspiration from Jayce’s content, and chose to start dabbling in content creation in 2022 — Creates very technically advanced and meticulously crafted ASMR videos; usually fully focuses on the mechanical sounds and tech aesthetic but lately has been brancing out more [12,3k subscribers before he gets in kahoots with Jayce] — Started showing his face only around the time when Jayce started watching him and is a bit irritated over the boost in popularity it granted him — Has many health problems, including scoliosis and rheumatoid arthritis (which has caused lung scarring and severe cartilage damage to his right leg and spine from when he was younger and could not access the necessary care to get the inflammation in control)

KillshotKiramman — 23 years old, she/her, lesbian; Vi’s girlfriend and Jayce’s best friend, Chinese-British — Makes videos about weapons (mostly guns and shooting) [176k subscribers] and plays games on her Twitch [29k followers] — Moderates Jayce and Vi’s streams, and completely destroys both of them at FPS games — Had a gun misfiring accident which left her blind in her left eye

Violet a.k.a. vistandsforvideogames — 24 years old, any pronouns, gender-apathetic (call her whatever you like) lesbian; Caitlyn’s partner, American — Gamer on Twitch, but also shares about her side job as a boxer [212k followers] — Sometimes mods for Jayce but mainly just shows up to kick his ass in Mortal Kombat and exude chaotic energy

I scheduled this to post at exactly 11:59 P.M. on Sunday, June 30th, 2024. I hope everyone has been enjoying all these Pride Month pictures and GIFs as much as I have. I hope everyone got a little something out of it, with all the colors and all the fun stuff.

This has been so fun, I may end up starting yet another sideblog just for posting Pride-themed/colorful content. It would not be updated every day, but it would run year-long. I’m not entirely decided yet but it could be fun.

For sure, next year, I will be doing this little project again. It’s all the fun of a Pride Parade, a fireworks show, a GSA club event, and more - all right here on Tumblr!

If these do not perfectly match your own takes on the characters, then that’s totally fine. I hope they bring you just as much joy and creativity as mine do for me. Part of the fun of this series it how open it is to interpretation, how so many people can see different things in the same piece of art and inspire each other thanks to those differing perspectives.
