and im not even bi lesbian myself, this problem doesnt directly affect me until it does like what if they start going "ace lesbians dni" next??? its like gold star lesbianism but evolved into "you cant sit w us unless ur 100% lesbian 🙄" and thats so fucked bc ppl are way too diverse for that shit, there will always be more exceptional lesbians out there and ppl whos sexuality differs from the majority bc every brain is different and also lesbianism is a spectrum as well.

Why is it so accepted in lesbian communities that the second ones sexuality is different or a lil more exceptional ppl start putting them in different categories/boxes and claiming they arent a ""ReAL"" lesbian unless they r ""100% lesbian"" like shut uuuuppp pls youre not only excluding bi lesbians but also a bunch of other lesbians like me whos lesbianism is a little more different than the norm (for me bc of my asexuality) like thats not a safe space at all why is it sooo hard to just not police others sexuality like why is so hard literally get over urselves acting like uptight bullies .😭

It's okay to talk about how your romantic attraction overlaps with your asexuality. It's not greedy to want representation of both your romanticism and your asexuality together in 1 character. It's not a lesser form of asexual representation if the character has romantic attraction. It's not a lesser form of queer romantic representation if the character is asexual. You are not a lesser form of anything. You don't have to 'choose' whether your asexuality or your romanticism matters more. It's not amatornativity to want an asexual relationship for yourself or express your romantic attraction. It's not allonormative or gross to express your interest in the same gender if you have it. It's okay if sexual/romantic/platonic look and feel completely different to you. It's not automatically 'just sexual attraction then' if it involves anything physical. It's not a privilege to have romantic attraction if it's illegal, moralised or stigmatised despite being asexual. In case anyone needs to hear it.

I hope my future girlfriend and I will spend time loving by playing her favorite video games with each other after a long day of work. Caressing each other's heads and jinxing our thoughts while talking nonstop about all the mundane and weird things we see in our lives. Talk about our unconventional interests and what's going on with our relationship with the rest of society. Confess some weird shit we did or thought years ago and laugh at today. Watch a movie in silence, glancing at each other during those moments and chuckle. Redecorate our room with lights and grow plants that attract dragonflies, bees, and butterflies. Visiting park trails holding hands while admiring the beauty of autumn, summer and spring. Taking pictures of awestriking sunsets. Doing our own thing in separate rooms. Holding her while she's sobbing about something that went wrong during work. Her drooping eyes shuttering trying to stay up on her writing desk but ending up falling fast asleep anyway. The next day might be boring as hell but with her you know it'll be alright. You just know.
