- You and him were.. very different.

- To start, you were a sunny vacation town girl who’s daddy dearest owned several businesses in. You were on the more popular side in highschool, prom queen and Miss Seaside winner for two years in a row. Your parents expected you to go off to college, get an excellent degree and marry a lawyer. You didn’t go that route.

- You went to a few auditions and you got casted in a movie and that set off your career.

- They were proud that you were a Hollywood gal. Their sweet little girl? an actress! A loved one: funny, pretty and kind. You demanded the focus of the camera and it loved you. Now they expected you to win awards and marry an attractive actor like Johnny Depp or Leonardo DeCaprio. But the one you picked? Kurt Cobain. He wasn’t even an actor!

- Kurt was the kinda man your mom would faint and send your Dad into heart attack if you ever told them that you and Kurt were together. (Thank god you told you mother near a soft couch and your father has great health insurance.)

- It shocked at lot of people when you were seen at Nirvana shows, singing along and vibing with the rest of the crowd. It shocked them even more when Kurt came to your movie premiere. He wasn’t a formal guy yet here he was: by your side, supporting your achievements.

- Your parents eventually came around to the idea of him and warmed up to him being around. Kurt knew he was officially part of the family when he saw a stocking his nitial on your alls mantel.

- Kurt was a very gentle person despite the persona he developed for the stage.

- Many thought that he didn’t love you when the pictures of you both appeared in magazines. In those pictures, he looked like being with you was torture but that wasn’t the truth at all.

- In the majority of the random paparazzi pictures, Kurt seemed standoffish like a cat who had its tail stepped on, while you were just rattling on about what your plans were. You both blamed it on no context.

- Your voice always grounded Kurt and sometimes his anxiety would hit him in public.

- But the ones your loved ones took?Kurt looking at you like you are the love of his life (you are). Your favorite was from the Christmas dinner you and the rest of Nirvana decided to have while on tour. You were sitting in Kurt’s lap and you were unwrapping the gift Krist had gotten you. Kurt was looking at you like you were an art piece and you frozen in laughter. You kept this photo on your bedside table and had another copy in the hallway.

- After it was well established that you both were together, Kurt was affectionate in public. He would pepper kisses to your cheek and the corners of your lips when you sat in for interviews, leaving the talking to Dave. He could be seen resting his head against your shoulder during car rides, award ceremonies and when you guided him home when he had too much to drink or smoke, his lips would always try to attach themselves to yours.

- If Kurt was ever missing, all they had to do was find you and he wouldn’t be more than a few feet away.

- If you’d let him, he’d be in the bathroom while you took a shower. You didn’t mind it because it was never an inconvenience. Kurt knew when he could and couldn’t be attached to you.

- Kurt jokingly covers Dave’s and Krist’s eyes if you have a semi-nude scene in a movie. But if they were to stare too hard (they don’t), he would throw something at them.

- You both share cigarettes often. He used to grumble about the lipstick stain you left on them but he grew to love them and miss them even.

- He was even more affectionate in private, constantly laying his head in your lap, pulling you into his lap on the rare occasion he was sitting up. Krist and Dave joked that if he wasn’t touching you, he’d die.

- It was half true. He was saddened and moody when you weren’t around. Krist gave up and called you when they were trying to take the pictures for the Nevermind album. The second you walked in the building, Kurt’s mood improved tenfold

- It was mutual. Any time you were having a near breakdown over something, someone just had to call Kurt. He once came to your studio to console you over your hair, which the stylist who stepped in for your regular, had just melted with bleach. He assured you that you looked sexy with shorter hair and you felt better and the stylist lived to see another day. (He was right and you were a real trend setter with your shorter hair with layers.)

- At home, you and him were very quiet (strange ik). But it was comfortable quiet and it never was completely silent.

- Only the sound of soft guitar playing and the flipping pages of your book could be heard. It was peaceful.

- People were always shocked to hear you say how good of a lover he was, which highly offended you.

- “He can be a four to you and a ten to me and that’s alright cause he’s not for you.” Is what you snapped at an interviewer who was wondering why you were dating Kurt.

- They wanted you to say either money or fame but your answer was what you thought. Kurt was pissed that they were all but calling you a gold digger when you actually had your own gold and no need for his.

- Flowers came to you every time he was away. You kept a dried flower from every bouquet

- He would pick a necklace from your jewelry box and wear it if he was going to be gone for a while.

- He kisses you softly, as if he would bruise you if he did other wise. His finger traced shape into your arms and on the top of your hand.

- His stubble tickles you often and he purposefully rubs his face against the side of your neck or your face to get you to laugh. (You go through the stages of grief every time he shaves)

- You took great care of Kurt. When he would go into a depressive episode, you would tenderly coax him into still taking care of himself.

- You would sit in the bathroom with him when he showered, sometimes even wash his hair for him. You would wrap him in a bath robe and have him face the wall and you would blow dry and brush his hair. He hated seeing himself in this state so you had him avoid the mirror.

- You would sit out clothes for him and he’d get dressed while you made him something to eat. He would eat and you would talk to him, hopefully keeping him distracted from his thoughts.

- “You deserve better”

- You didn’t believe him when he said it. “I think you’re perfect for me.”

- That eased his thoughts for a while. He believed that you deserved someone who wasn’t sick, in pain and moody all the time but you wanted him. He knew he had to wife you up.

- To give him credit, he took great care of you. He would paint your nails, clean your makeup brushes, rub your shoulders and would leave you little treats in the house or in your car.

- Every night that he was home, he would hold you and rub your back til you fell asleep. If you held him, you would play with the hair at the base of his neck til you heard soft snores.

- He was always appreciative for all that you did for him, often gloating and talking about you. “Oh my girlfriend? The angel that was sent to earth? Yeah she likes my songs.” “My girlfriend can do that.” “Have you seen my girlfriend in that new show?”

- He worshipped the very ground you walked on.

- You and him were acting like an old married couple from the day you made it official. With wild careers, you didn’t have it in you to have wild free time. You were both gentle souls deep down and it was brought out when you were together.

- When you and him got married, it was a bitch to plan. He had shows, you had filming. After months, you decided on a September wedding at a nice venue. Everything had gone perfect until your reception. You had changed into your shorter party dress and were heading to see Kurt when it happened.

- It started to rain. Kurt looked at you and you looked at Kurt. You both had the same idea.

- You kicked off your heels and he took off his jacket and out you two went: playing in the rain.

- You both were soaked and laughing. You and him were kicking water at each other. Some of your less up tight guests joined in. Slowly turning it into a muddy brawl.

John Carroll O'Connor (August 2, 1924 – June 21, 2001; aged 76) was an American actor whose television career spanned over four decades. O'Connor found widespread fame as Archie Bunker (for which he won four Emmy Awards), the main character in the CBS television sitcoms All in the Family (1971–1979) and its continuation, Archie Bunker's Place (1979–1983). O'Connor later starred in the NBC/CBS television crime drama In the Heat of the Night (1988–1995), where he played the role of police chief William "Bill" Gillespie. In the late 1990s, he played Gus Stemple, the father of Jamie Buchman (Helen Hunt) on Mad About You. In 1996, O'Connor was ranked number 38 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time. He won five Emmys and one Golden Globe Award.

Carroll was born in Manhattan and raised in Forest Hills, a borough of Queens, New York. After graduating from high school in 1942, O'Connor joined the Merchant Marines and worked on ships in the Atlantic. In 1946, he enrolled at the University of Montana to study English. While there, he became interested in theater. During one of the amateur productions, he met his future wife, Nancy Fields, whom he married in 1951. They would later adopted their only child while in Rome, Italy in 1962 while he filmed Joseph L. Mankiewicz’s Cleopatra.

I first fell in lust with O'Connor for his role as crusty police chief William 'Bill' Gillespie on the crime drama "In the Heat of the Night." O'Connor captured my imagination so much that he still remains one of the key templates of what a daddy should be like to me. Chubby, grey hair, gentle features but with a hint 'I'll fuck you up if you cross me' added for good measure. But as hot as he looked on the show, he looked insanely gorgeous as Archie on reruns of "All in the Family." Yes a rarity for me. Liking a man when they were younger.

Who is Sapo Peta?

Sapo Peta was recently announced as a QSMP member, and since I know Tumblr mostly has English-speaking fans of Quackity who might not be familiar with him, here's a TLDR!

He's played by a Spanish streamer called Maximus (aka "Maxo"), who is a very good role-player and was nominated for a "Role-player of the year" award!

Sapo Peta was a supporting character in the Karmaland series. He's basically a very powerful demigod / druid who's employed by the gods.

Sapo Peta is a very kind, powerful, and, er... sensual man.

In My Kingdom, brung a classical, royal tone to their discography and was the true beginning of the Vienna Family lore as a Antoinette's Youtube channel suddenly released a video named “SONATINA : WHO HAS A CLAIM?" The video contained a guide of the Realms within Vienna and who the citizens have chosen an heir to their respective lands.

In current events, Antoinette has made their Japanese debut with the single Lonely & Gorgeous, continuing solidifying awards and their image as the perfect idols continued. Their discography and accolades not only cemented their position as a commercial powerhouse but also showcased Antoinette's ability to blend nostalgic K-pop elements with a cutesy twist.

But somehow I had a piano in there — a small, sawn-off piano that stood by my bed.

The [Asher] family lived in a large town house in Wimpole Street in the West End of London. It was a Georgian terrace house with six floors, including a rambling basement. On the top floor, in the old servants' quarters, were Peter's bedroom and a little music room. Sometimes, late at night, Paul would be invited to stay over rather than go back to Green Street. Then one day, in the course of conversation, Jane suggested that he could live at Wimpole Street if he hated the Green Street flat so much. Her mother would let him have the attic room. [...] Paul's room was next to Peter's, in the back of the house, next to the top bathroom. It was a small, square room with a single window overlooking Browning Mews, where horses and carriages were once kept. Minseok was in the purple hoodie, but he at least had the decency to ask Chanyeol for it instead of raiding his closet. Like the rest of the ungrateful heathens spread throughout the living room.

Chanyeol crossed his arms over his (hoodie-less) chest. “I’m serious.”

“Maybe try covering your mouth and not giving the rest of us the flu, then,” Kyungsoo shot back, less teasing than Sehun. His eyes were blazing, forehead creased with ire, his fury completely untouched by his disheveled, clearly ill appearance. It also didn’t help that he was swimming in one of Chanyeol’s black hoodies. Still, Minseok reached over with the arm Sehun wasn’t using as a pillow and pulled the younger man towards him, guiding his head onto his lap to soothe him. Of the members, Kyungsoo hated getting sick the most, and he’d been incredibly sensitive and ready to fight since he’d spiked a fever two days ago. Especially if anyone made the mistake of reminding him he was sick.

“Soo-ya, be nice,” Junmyeon (another black hoodie) chided softly. The leader was currently trapped in their recliner under a sleeping Baekhyun (light pink). He didn’t mind being trapped there at all though; the vocalist’s gentle breathing was slowly but surely lulling the leader to sleep as well. And more sleep would be much welcomed after getting only three proper hours the previous night due to A.) Jongin’s fever spiking and causing nightmares that had him throwing up at 3am, B.) Sehun having a panic attack at Jongin puking, and C.) his own coughing.

“He’s not wrong though,” Sehun added unhelpfully.

“And it’s not like he isn’t already getting his karma back in the form of… well… this.” Jongin (maroon hoodie) waved his hands in a large circle to encompass the whole of the living room. He was currently sitting on the floor in front of the couch, back resting against Minseok’s legs. He’d plopped down there an hour ago, and nobody had gathered the strength to ask him why yet.

“Yeah, we’re the world’s best punishment,” Sehun added. “Only fit for the most devious of criminals.”

“You are such drama queens,” Chanyeol groaned, running a hand down his face.

“And you are the world’s worst nurse,” Sehun shot back, leaning over the back of the couch and pointing an accusatory finger at his fellow rapper. “If you were better at this, maybe we wouldn’t all still be sick.”

“Yeah! Park Chanyeol: worst health care professional,” Jongin played along, patting Sehun’s knee in support.

“More like health care crisis,” Kyungsoo mumbled. Jongin and Sehun laughed.

“Guys, I’m right here,” Chanyeol sighed. The past week had undoubtedly been a trial of Herculean proportions. Yes, it was true that Chanyeol had been the first in the group to get sick, but it wasn’t like he’d actively tried to infect the rest of them. It wasn’t his fault they were coming off of a busy award season of back to back performances with tight dressing rooms, little sleep, and mindlessly shared water bottles. He’d been as careful as possible, yet two days after he’d recovered, Jongin woke up coughing, and it was all down hill from there. They’d all dropped in record time. And really the issue over the hoodies was the only tangible way Chanyeol knew how to express his own frustration at having to do this practically by himself.

“Wait, since when?” Junmyeon joked. Of course Junmyeon was on Chanyeol’s side, even if he couldn’t physically help him much. Minseok too. But the support of his hyungs was meaningless since the rest of the members were a toss up depending on the hour. And, because of that, Chanyeol sighed, conceding the hoodie argument as his audience was clearly not in the right headspace for it.

As he made his way towards the living area, Jongdae (light blue) stumbled into the room, the physical embodiment of clammy and miserable. He staggered to the couch, climbing over the arm by Kyungsoo and settling in behind the younger vocalist so he could rest his head on Minseok’s only available shoulder.

“Did you throw up again?” Sehun asked, peeking across Minseok. Jongdae nodded, eyes closed. “Well don’t do it again in here, okay?”

“No promises,” Jongdae slurred. Kyungsoo whined, squirming in discomfort until Minseok’s fingers began running through his hair again.

“Guys, are we pathetic?” Jongin asked from his spot on the floor.

“Yes,” Chanyeol answered.

“Pretty sure that’s just a symptom of the flu,” Minseok added, shifting as much as possible to accommodate the grown men sticking to him like magnets. “Also, Yeollie, there are a few of your hoodies in the dryer. I started a load of laundry yesterd- or was it two days ago?” A soft smile creeped up Chanyeol’s lips as Minseok bit his lip in thought. “It… it doesn’t matter when. They’re in the dryer, okay?”

“Thanks, hyung.”

“Hey, don’t help him!” Sehun whined. “That’s not part of the game!”

“What game?” Minseok shook his head.

“The one where we steal all of his hoodies, duh,” Sehun scoffed.

“Let me guess: as karma for bringing the flu into the house?” Junmyeon asked sarcastically. Sehun nodded and Jongin snapped his approval.

“Guys, I physically cannot apologize anymore than I have. What more do you want from me?” Chanyeol exclaimed, at the edge of his patience.

“Sweetheart, they’re delirious, ignore them,” Junmyeon replied peaceably.

“We want justice!” Jongin exclaimed, throwing a fist in the air.

“Too loud…” Kyungsoo moaned, burying his face deeper into Minseok’s pajama-clad thigh. Kyungsoo’s shifting disturbed Jongdae, who had nearly fallen asleep, and the older vocalist whined in response.

“Okay, I physically cannot hold another person, so I’m gonna need you all to at least try to contain your emotions,” Minseok spoke up, more than a tad desperate. “Or I’m gonna need someone to hold me too.”

“Let’s watch a movie,” Chanyeol suggested. The tension in the room immediately diffused, as both Jongin and Sehun’s snapped to attention at the promise of an activity. Chanyeol was genuinely taken aback, but quickly jumped back into action. “Yeah, let’s put in a movie. We can all chill together.”

“That sounds perfect.” Junmyeon smiled up at him, both pride and relief clear in his eyes. “What movie do you guys want?” Jongin and Sehun both gave their opinions, talking over each other and arguing amongst themselves about the merits of their successive choices. Chanyeol tipped his head to make eye contact with the eldest. “Minseokie, hyung? What do you think?”

Minseok smiled. “The Little Mermaid.”

“The Little Mermaid it is,” Chanyeol declared, swiping the remote from the coffee table and ignoring the protests from the youngest members. It didn’t take long past the opening credits for all complaints to cease, the entire living room absorbed by the magic of Disney. Chanyeol smiled to himself as he returned to the kitchen to check on the soup he’d started earlier; it still had an hour or so to go, but was already smelling amazing. He was rather proud of himself for this one. Sehun and Kyungsoo and Jongin could tease him all they wanted; Park Chanyeol knew a thing or two about successfully nursing his pathetic brothers back to health.

After checking on dinner, Chanyeol returned to the living room, pulling up one of the chairs from the kitchen table between the recliner and couch so he could easily get up if anyone needed anything.

“Hey Yeollie?”

The rapper turned his attention to the couch, where Kyungsoo’s whispered voice had called him. “Yeah, bud?”

“Thank you.”

“For what?”

“Letting us borrow your hoodies.”

Chanyeol smiled, all his prior irritation forgotten. “Anything for you guys.”

Life of Paris (Alexander)

1231 (age 0) Queen Hecabe of Troy dreams that she is about to give birth to a flaming torch that sets her city aflame. Aesacus, son of Priam by his previous wife, interprets the dream and declares the child will bring the downfall of Troy. On the day of Paris's birth, Aesacus further prophetizes that any royal child born that day would have to be killed to save Troy. Paris is born that same day before nightfall. Priam spares the child, unable to kill his own son. Herophile, priestess of Apollo, insists the child must be killed. Priam asks his chief herdsman Agelaus to kill Paris. Agelaus cannot kill the child and exposes him on Mount Ida, where he is suckled by a female bear. Five days later, Agelaus finds Paris alive and adopts him and tells Priam the child is dead.

1216 (age 15) Paris routs a gang of cattle thieves and returns the stolen animals to the herd, thus earning the nickname Alexander. Soon afterwards, Paris becomes the lover of Oenone, daughter of the river god Cebren and oread nymph of Mount Ida.

1214 (age 17) Paris and Oenone get married.

1212 (age 19) birth of their son Corythus on Mount Ida.

1211 (age 20) Paris starts organizing bull fights on Mount Ida, which he wins almost every time.

1209 (age 22) Paris offers a golden crown as a prize for his next bull fight. Ares chooses to participate, transforms into a bull and wins the contest. Paris gives the crown to Ares without hesitation, the honesty of which catches Zeus's attention and leads him to decide that Paris will award the golden apple he has been keeping since the marriage of Thetis and Peleus to the fairest goddess. Judgment of Paris: Paris attributes the golden apple to Aphrodite, earning Hera's and Athena's enmity, but winning the promise of Helen's love, most beautiful of all mortal women.

1208 (age 23) To atone for the supposed murder of his own son, Priam has been organizing expiatory games. Paris's favorite bull is taken to be the prize of this year's games. He decides to participate to win it back. Paris wins all the games, which angers his brother Deiphobus, but his sister Cassandra recognizes him with her seeress powers and Priam welcomes him back to Troy.

1207 (age 24) Paris hires Phereclus to build a fleet, as advised by Aphrodite.

1204 (age 27) Paris and his cousin Aeneas and a contingent of warriors leave for Greece, pretexting to visit and enquire about Hesione, Priam's elder sister. They travel through Greece, and when they reach Sparta, they are welcomed and entertained by Menelaus, husband of Helen who is immediately smitten with love for Paris, as promised by Aphrodite. Menelaus must leave for Crete, for the funeral of king Catreus, his grandfather. As soon as he is gone, Helen embarks with Paris for Troy. However, to avoid being pursued, they detour south of Crete, to Cyprus and Phoenicia. Paris and Aeneas sack Sidon.

1203 (age 28) The fleet reaches Troy. Paris and Helen marry.

1202 (age 29) Birth of Bunomus, their son.

1194 (age 37) Birth of Aganus, their second son.

1193 (age 38) The siege of Troy begins.

1192 (age 39) Birth of Idaeus, their third son.

1191 (age 40) Oenone sends their now adult son Corythus to Paris to participate in the war against the Greeks. He is welcomed by Helen and is stricken by her beauty. Paris does not recognize his son and kills him out of jealousy before he is informed of his identity.

1188 (age 43) Troy is struck by a minor earthquake, but the three sons of Paris and Helen are killed by the collapsing roof of their house.

1184 (age 47) Paris duels Menelaus and is saved by Aphrodite. He wounds Diomedes and later kills Achilles with an arrow guided by Apollo. Philoctetes wounds Paris with an arrow bearing the poison of the Lernaean Hydra. Helen rushes to Mount Ida to beg for Oenone's healing skills. She refuses and Paris soon dies. Oenone commits suicide.
