Someone else you admire?

My good friend Twilly went to uni at 16 for PoliSci, Philosophy, and French, faithfully saved to be able to attend PFW every year for four years and to take the Eurail around Europe, and she’s graduating and moving to Europe to start grad school next year. I visited her at McGill when we were both around 19, and I was blown away by how much she’d been able to accomplish in the six months since I’d last seen her.

 

Twill is chic, totally carefree, cool, Congolese, and never too much. She’s found ways to study internationally for most of her life; she wrote a fashion magazine in high school; her music taste and humor are impeccable; and she’s got the bookshelf of my daydreams. T ran a small style, fashion, and lifestyle zine called “The Ambassador’s Wife” for the longest time, and the yearly zine perfectly captured the life I want to lead one day. She has such an eye for detail and has studied aesthetics and art in such depth.

 

She’s a chef, she jokes that she’s a bit of a literary dilettante but she’s far from it, she’s an artist, and she’s a dancer and actress. Twilly is the definition of a cool girl; it comes naturally to her. She’s adventurous and exotic without ever seeming like she’s trying too hard; she’s intelligent, cosmopolitan, inquisitive, and really extraordinary. She’s always told me that there’s something to be said about living life without the need for constant approval, and she’s right—there is.

 

People don’t just want to know Twilly; they want to be around her and have her in their lives. She’s magnetic and can make the worst of times seem like the best. She’d toss her hair over her shoulder and joke about spending too much time watching Anthony Bourdain, but she’s the sort of person who strays off the beaten track, comes back with stories, and has experiences that make you want to follow her the next time she goes. It’s hard to be the queen of the Irish goodbye when everyone wants you to stay, but she manages. 

 

There was a summer where she broke her phone and had to make do with a flip phone and her digital camera, so as she traveled, she’d write her address on the back of a spare photo she’d printed and distribute them to anyone she wanted to stay in contact with. She returned home to dozens of her photos mailed back to her and had to send off hundreds of texts and emails to get back in contact with everyone she’d met.

 

I admire her immensely and believe her to be one of the most consistent people in my life. We’ve known each other for years, watched each other grow, and leaned on each other. I faithfully send updates and advice, and she keeps me up to date with the major fashion houses she follows. It can be difficult to make high quality friends that mature with you as you grow up, so I think I'm especially lucky to have someone so likeminded and understanding in my life as one of my closest girls.

You slowly sipped from your juice box as you wiped the sweat from your forehead. It wasn’t even that hot, but you were tense. The roaring crowd around you wasn’t helping either, each scream making you more on edge. Sitting rigidly in your front row seat, you watched the men’s volleyball match. This wasn’t just any ordinary game—Japan was up against a formidable Argentina. But not just any Argentina—Oikawa Tooru’s Argentina.

You knew Oikawa. Everyone did. Well, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but every volleyball fan had at least heard of him. Aoba Johsai’s former captain, renowned for his skill and presence on the court. And there he stood, on the left side, focused and drenched in sweat. He was facing Japan’s U20 team, whose stellar lineup had blown past all your expectations.

Your eyes followed the white ball, catching a glimpse of the Olympic logo printed on it, and a fond smile crept onto your face as you remembered where you were—and more importantly, who you were here for. Your gaze shifted across the court, spotting several familiar faces—after all, these were your boyfriend’s peers. You knew them well.

You held your breath as you saw your boyfriend leap to spike the ball. Ah! A feint! No… it was blocked. You exhaled sharply, closing your eyes and pressing a hand to your chest. Suddenly, a hand rested on your shoulder, causing you to jump and gasp. You turned, frowning slightly.

“Kuro!” You gasped, glaring daggers at him.

“Gosh, relax a little. You’re stiff as a rock. I thought you were going to faint." He raised both eyebrows, a little smirk tugging at his lips.

“I know I might look like a mess, but I’m fine. Really.” You flashed him a toothy grin, which came off more as a grimace.

He chuckled, unconvinced. “You sure about that? ‘Cause it feels like your mind is thinking about everything but the match.” He patted your back gently, nodding towards the court, specifically at Bokuto, whose muscles shone bright through Japan’s uniform. “He’d kill to have all your attention right now.”

You glanced back at Bokuto just as the crowd began chanting his name. His smile was infectious, his energy lifting the entire stadium. Despite your frayed nerves, you joined in the cheers—you owed him that much. Bokuto had always had that magnetic quality—the way he could draw everyone in, making them want to root for him. It was difficult not to feel a pang of envy at how easily he commanded the spotlight. 

Bokuto’s turn to serve had arrived. You could see the determination in his eyes—that familiar spark of confidence. He knew he had this. With a quick grin, he launched the ball, and the sharp smack of it hitting the court echoed through the arena. The crowd erupted, and you cupped your hands around your mouth, shouting his name with all the excitement bubbling inside you.

Despite the roaring crowd and the cheering all around him, his eyes found yours. The sounds around you faded into a soft murmur, leaving just you and him in that fleeting moment. He gifted you—only you—that lopsided smile, the kind that warmed your heart and brightened your days. Then, with a mischievous glint in his eye, he winked, knowing full well the effect it would have. It was fleeting, a matter of seconds, but it sent your heart racing. You felt your pulse quicken, your cheeks flush crimson—and knowing he would notice, you smiled back, flushed and jittery.

Around you, girls giggled and squealed, touching their reddened cheeks, eyes sparkling with admiration.

“FOR SURE, that was for me,” a blonde girl gushed to her friend beside her.

“No way! He looked at me,” another girl replied in a feisty tone.

“It was definitely for me!”

You felt a pang of jealousy, but it quickly faded as the match reached its climax. Your focus shifted to the ball. When it came speeding toward Bokuto and he swung his arm, spiking the final blow, you squealed and leaped from your seat in pure joy. They won. The team embraced, cheering, but one figure leaped through the court, heading straight for you.

In an instant, Bokuto was by your side, hugging you tightly and kissing your forehead. He lifted you off your feet and spun you around, his laughter infectious.

“We won! We won!” he exclaimed, holding you close.

Then, his eyes locked onto yours, intense. His thumb brushed over your lips, his breath still uneven from the game. “You know… I just love it when you look at me, only me.”

“Your attention belongs to me.”

Then he kissed you.

My Pagan Veiling Tips!

This is my personal tips, if you find that something else works with you, then stick with it, this is just what works for me, and if you find it works, great! Also anyone can veil, remember that.

1. Good quality veils usually are from Muslim shops, here are some I personally use: sunnahstyle.com, hautehijab.com, bazaralhaya.com.

2. Invest in a good undercap (hair net or underscarf) especially if you plan on not showing any hair, I recommend haute hijab or sunnah style for the best undercaps.

3. Scarf magnets are a Godsend! The websites I recommended have good magnetic strength & are inexpensive! Sunnah Style are the cheapest!

4. Rectangle veils are more versatile than square scarves. If you plan on doing many styles, rectangle are the way to go. If you want simple, stick with square.

5. Woven, Chiffon, Mehdina Silk, or other light fabrics are best during Hot weather seasons. Jersey fabric is best for cold weather seasons.

6. Reminder, soft and light fabrics are more likely to slip, so wearing an undercap or magnets will help make the veil stay in place. Heavier fabrics like jersey will usually stay in place, but use magnets if you are in cold season, if you want your scarf to stay snug.

7. Light fabrics are usually less opaque, so folding it will make it least see through. Or simply wear an undercap will help with the opaqueness.

8. Etsy is best for printed veils, otherwise Haute Hijab has a great selection of printed fabrics. But remember, they only have Woven, Pleated, & Chiffon printed fabrics on their website.

9. I recommend SunnahStyle for face veils, mainly since I only bought them from that website, they have many types and colors: half veil, one layer, two layer, three layer, no-pinch (for people who wear glasses or just don’t like the pinching regular veils give), buttoned veils, etc.

10. You will probably get mistaken as a Muslim when wearing these styles, even though there’s historical evidence of the veil belonging in many practices. If you are uncomfortable with the association, I would recommend buying religious symbols or pins to put on your scarves to help differentiate you.

11. Remember, do not overdo yourself. Even wearing the lightest of fabrics, if you are in hot weather, you will still heat up. Please don’t overheat yourself, it’s okay to take off your scarves. Or invest in a portable fan, and drink lots of water to prevent heat exhaustion. Especially if you take meds that make you susceptible to heat.

12. The Gods will not be angry with you if you have to take off your veil, they understand that you are human and that you need to take care of yourself first.

if you are a heathen like me who won´t stop sewing over pins buy the extra fine glasshead ones

GET ERGONOMIC SCISSORS

using your iron on low heat to smooth/flatten minky and fleece. use a blowdrier to fluff up fur that got kinda crinkly and flat.

if you have an embroidery machine get the fancy titanium needles. i know they cost an arm and a leg but they do break less often and your machine is the mostly likely to really get damaged when a needle breaks and it gets stuck (it´s also most stressful noise known to mankind)

if you have an embroidery machine. consider getting a good pair of noise cancelling headphones

tear away embroidery backing is actually REALLY good and will save you so much work. if it tears during the process just tape over the back where it tore.

sublimation printing? set your printer to high quality. i know it takes 500 years but just start cutting/taping in the mean time it´s worth it!

set it to photopaper. semigloss works best for mine but play around.

put a carpet around where you cut and work with fabric so the fuzz gets stuck in there instead of spreading into every corner of your house

omg diy pin tutorial

I’ve been making these pins/magnets for a few months now. I get a lot of compliments on them, and people are surprised to hear I make them myself. They’re pretty easy (but pretty work intensive), the materials are cheap, and they’re surprisingly durable. Sticking to materials I’ve had success with here, but there’s definitely flexibility.

Starting with these 1” unfinished wood squares. Paint them or don’t, the unfinished wood effect can also be cool but you’ll have to be extra diligent sealing them later on. Quick tip: make a stack of squares so you can paint all the sides simultaneously. Break apart the stack between coats so they don’t get too glued together.

Get a print of your designs. Size the file so that your designs are just barely bigger than your tiles. I recommend a professional glossy photo print. Drug store printing quality control is super shaky and I’ve found that Walgreens prints tend to blur over time with exposure to the resin that we use later on. I go to a small local fine art printing place. I recommend using a file with borders so they don’t clip your edges.

Chop chop.

Glue photos on (the porosity of wood is really your friend here) (I use Modge Podge) and trim any excess edges and corners. Unless the edges of your pic or your tile are white, you’re gonna wanna paint the edges of the photo. Makes a huge difference.

Make sure you’re working on a level surface. VERY level. Like, get a level. Mix and pour resin over the photos, covering them fully. I’m using Unicone Art, which I haven’t seen any yellowing with and barely any bubbles. 1 tsp is enough for 10-15 pins.

Standard dry time for this resin is one day. I would recommend waiting a full three, because this next bit is pretty harsh.

(I’ve also sealed some photos with modge podge on top. I find the resin easier and more aesthetic)

Glue on your pin or magnet or idk maybe you wanna glue on something else, whatever. I use clear gorilla glue, which requires a few hours of clamping/weight to properly dry. Easy enough with flat magnets, pins are trickier. I have been using a carefully balanced hammer.

(you can also glue stuff on before you pour the resin, which reduces the risk of damaging the resin! however this does make leveling trickier)

After that’s done, you’ll want to seal the exposed wooden surfaces (I use Modge Podge, 3-5 coats). This is more critical on pins than magnets: not sure why, but the sealed pins are waaay less likely to snap off.

They’re art books, they’re professionally printed and bound and cost upwards of $70 and come with other lil special shit like enamel pins, magnets or acrylic charms/stands if you’re willing to spend even more money. Zines are printed at the library or in your home and are stapled or sewn together and cost maybe $15 max. Yall are paying big money to put together a whole ass collectors package. Which is cool don’t get me wrong! I think Fandom Art Books are neat if you’ve got that kind of extra money but they’re art books, not zines.

Mass Effect Lore: Common technologies in the 2180‘s (Part 2)

This post is both a collection of canon technologies in the Mass Effect universe, and personal headcanon which may be borrowing common concepts from sci fi.

Infrastructure:

Autonomous public transportation vessels of all sorts. As seen with the tram on Noveria. Trains, buses and cabs are also autonomous. Rude bus drivers, trains and buses being cancelled or too late are problems of the past.

Some of those buses and cabs drive on land; others are flying vessels that travel through the sky.

Trains travel at immense speed, with most trains being able to travel at least 1000km/h. Low pressure tunnels allow for this level of speed.

Suspension railways are a common means of public transportation and are widely featured all across the galaxy on various space station, colonies and in most Earth countries. This also includes maglevs (magnetic levitation trains).

Cities commonly not only feature terminals providing rentable e-bikes, e-scooters or even e-rollerblade, but also rent flying hoverboards.

Medicine & Health:

Needles have become obsolete. Technologies akin to Star Trek's hypospray have replaced them. (This contradicts with Mordin's line in ME3: „Fear of needles. Common phobia." I know.)

Genetic therapy has advanced so far as to being able to cure almost any genetic disease. (Book canon).

Cybernetics can fix deafness and blindness.
(Canon implied, I believe?)

Advancement in technology and medicine have slowed down human aging significantly. Women can have healthy children in their sixties. (Book canon). Anti aging therapies and cybernetics can allow humans to reach ages of up to 250 years.

Education:

Paper and pens being used in schools is a thing of the past. Students use tablets (which are made of ultra-light also foldable) with either keyboards or tablet pens for handwritten notes.
(Book canon implied - Gillian uses a computer to work on her assignments in Mass Effect:
Ascension).

Some teachers and students would prefer to have their textbooks in form of super light datapads (like e books) rather than have them all digitally stored on their computer.

Liquid food drinks, nutrient pastes and bars that replace entire meals are available just about everywhere. With biotics burning huge amount of calories, the asari have perfected such products. Being cheaper than freshly cooked take out meals and coming in all sorts of flavors and textures, such nutrient pastes proved to be a saving grace for poorer individuals. Some poor people nearly only eat 3D printed nutrient paste, which does not have the same feeling as eating real meals, but nutrient paste in Mass Effect is of such high quality that it provides the body with all nutrients it needs while being free of unhealthy ingredients.

People-prepared foods (by humans/aliens) are still appreciated, but many foods available in grocery stores are 3D printed. Cafés tend to feature feature people-prepared foods. A café selling 3D printed cakes for instance would be looked down upon.

Synthetic flavors have been perfected. While technology has been advanced to the point where you could grow strawberries on Omega without issues (using environmental control systems in a hydroponic bay), the ultimate cheapest way to replicate the flavor is using synthetic ingredients. This way, you can find foods of any flavor, no matter what exotic fruit from Palaven or Khar'Shan it might be, anywhere.

Sugar free snacks and candy are as common as the sugar variants. Ice cream cates feature sugar free ice cream options. Sugar free chocolate or cookies are available at any grocery store.
Various synthetic ingredients are used to replace sugar.

Lab grown meat is incredibly common (canon) and meat from Earth animals found on space stations is grown from animal stem cells.

Home:

Significantly less time is spent on chores due to robots doing most of the work. With floor wiping and vacuum robots being affordable for middle class people in the 21st century, in the 22nd, the majority of cleaning is done by robots in a middle class household. Advanced kitchen aid machines are found in most households and make cooking less time consuming and complicated for most people.

Blinds, curtains, light, air filtration systems, thermal regulation systems (air conditioning or heating systems) and television are typically navigated via a voice command (for example, „Light on“ or „Television off).

Holographic home ambiences like in Cyberpunk 2077 are common. Windows can be made to look like they‘re displaying a galaxy full of stars via holographic projections. Some people use those home ambience holographs to create the appearance of a luxurious club lounge, or to project beautiful landscapes into a corner of their room.

Personal Care:

Like in Star Trek, sonic showers can be used to clean the body effectively. Ultrasonic vibrations remove dirt, bacteria, excess oil and dead skin cells without requiring soap or water. While more expensive than typical showers, the use of sonic showers saves water. This sort of technology is found within quarian environmental suits. Drell with Kepral's Syndrome generally use sonic showers rather than water showers.

In addition to having an inbuild shower function, quarian environmental suits are equipped with a dental hygiene program that cleans the teeth and mouth of the wearer effectively using ultrasonic vibrations.

Certain suit upgrades can even use nanobots to moisturize the body.

Toothbrushes are also generally sonic toothbrushes that use the same technology as showers do; ultrasonic vibrations.

Clothes are typically self-cleaning with nanoparticles that kill bacteria and prevent the build up of odor.

PERSONALITY 

Christian is rather quiet on the whole, always seemingly calm and collected. Like his grandfather, Christian is pragmatic, cautious, and rather conservative.

Those who truly know him know of his ongoing insecurities regarding his wings. Rarely ever in the public eye growing up, Christian was always withdrawn and aloof, unsure of how others would perceive him due to his wings. These insecurities are rooted in his grandfather's rejection of his mutant nature.

Specifically, after meeting Rosaria Huntington in 2019, Christian began to undergo a drastic change in personality. Rosaria somehow had triggered his other latent mutations, forcing Christian and his grandfather to confront the reality of Christian being a mutant. That also meant that his grandfather also had to confront the reality of his grandson being a mutant.

Over time, Christian has become a lot more outspoken and confident. He is no longer afraid to speak his mind, although he still is pragmatic and chooses when best to reveal his true thoughts and feelings as per the situation. But most of all, he's accepted that his grandfather will never accept him for who he is.

Apart from this, Christian is also exceedingly loyal, almost fanatical at times. This is seen especially with his relationship with Rosaria, whom he regards to be a divine being and refuses to see her as anything less and erases all her flaws and insecurities in his mind. Similarly, he tends to have exceedingly favorable and exceedingly unfavorable views of people, based on his own perceptions of them. There is no in between and gray areas with Christian. No doubt, that tends to rub a lot of people the wrong way.

POWERS & ABILITIES 

Christian has angel wings that extend from his back. When fully extended, his wings span around 16 ft. These wings, along with his hollow bone structure allow him to fly to extreme heights and at extreme speeds - specifically, reaching and in rare cases beating the speed of sound. He also tends to be resistant to extreme pressure and temperature and can survive in spaces with very low to no oxygen for prolonged periods.

In their normal state, his wings are snow-white. However, when desired Christian is able to organically change them to exceedingly durable organic metal that can cut through the hardest of surfaces and is resistant to heat and magnetic forces.

He is also possesses the regenerative healing factor that enables him to heal himself exceedingly fast. Additionally, Christian also has superhuman strength and sight up to 1000 miles in range. Interestingly, Christian's blood can also be used to heal others.

A secondary ability that Christian inherited from his mother's side of the family allows him to manupilate kinetic energy through his wings and make them explode at targets at will. Additionally, he is also able to sense changes and disturbances in the cosmic balance and at times has glimpses of premonitions - as demonstrated with Christian seeing reccuring images of Rosaria channeling the Phoenix as she awakened.

MATERNAL FAMILY

Princess Christina Grimaldi (deceased)

Born to the Greek royal family, Princess Christina was married to Prince Charles VI of Monaco and was the mother of Prince Christian Grimaldi. She died while he was still an infant and therefore, Christian has no memories or attachments to her.

In general, he is not close with his maternal family and rarely ever interacts or sees them. They are interestingly enough,descendants of the Medici in Italy, most famously, Catherine de Medici. Because of this, his maternal family do have several witches, Catherine de Medici being the most famous. As a result of this, he also has inherited some aspects of magical abilities and some resistance to the effects of magic in general.

PATERNAL FAMILY

Christian's paternal family is close-knit and is limited to his grandfather at this point with whom his relationship is quite strained.

King Charles V of Monaco

King Charles V of Monaco is the current King of Monaco and is also the father to Charles VI , and the grandfather to Christian Grimaldi.

King Charles V is exceedingly private and conservative in his thoughts - he is a traditionalist and believes that the activities of monarchy should be beyond the public sphere. He has long criticized his grandson's public pursuit of mutant rights advocacy and strongly dislikes the fact that his grandson's mutation is so visible.

Christian has a very, very strained relationship with his grandfather because of this. Most of his insecurities regarding his wings root in his grandfather's rejection of his mutation since an early age.

Prince Charles VI of Monaco

Son of Charles V of Monaco, and his heir apparent. Charles VI was married to his betrothed, Princess Christina of Greece and is the father of Princs Christian Grimaldim Charles VI died shortly after Christian's birth in a sailing accident with his wife. Because of this, Christian has no real memories or attachments towards him either

Rosaria Huntington

Christian's relationship with Rosaria Huntington is rather odd. His relationship with her is based on his relationship with her astral projection during a time when Rosaria herself was under a telepathic-induced comma. In summary, his relationship with Rosaria's astral projection, therefore, wasn't even the 'real' Rosaria, so to speak - it was the Phoenix.

When Christian sees Rosaria's astral projection channel the Phoenix, Christian equates it to be a divine moment wherein she was transformed into her true divine form. Christian takes a lot of strength from this moment, interpreting it as a way of accepting himself as a mutant as opposed to hiding it. This serves as a turning point in his life.

Since then, Christian finds it to be his purpose in life to serve and protect Rosaria Huntington in any way that he can, much to her annoyance.

Alexander Mastronadi

Alex is exceedingly irritated by Christian. He finds Christian's devotion to Rosaria uncomfortable and, on the whole, finds him to be disingenuous.

From Christian's perspective, obviously, there is no love lost. Christian detests the closeness and intimacy between Rosaria and Alex and feels that no sentient being should have that close of a relationship with her in order to help her preserve her neutrality, allowing her not to get swayed by emotion.

He also, in general, finds Alex to be cold, brooding , and far too pessimistic in nature and is not afraid to criticize his strategic decisions on and off the field.

ROMANCE

Princess Amalia of Denmark

Christian's former wife - they had a pleasant relationship until she was consumed by Selike. While Selike could utilize her body and memories to impersonate her, Christian could detect the change in her aura - that is really what led to the deterioration of their relationship. They began to see each other less and less, until she finally disappeared all together and Christian never gave her another thought.

That was until Rosaria Huntington revealed to him several years later that his wife had been one of Selike's victims. Since the relevation, Christian perception of his late wife is very different - she's often on his mind. Christian also feels extremely guilty for her health and blames himself for not digging deeper into the case when he first noticed the change in her aura.

HISTORY

Christian was the only child of Charles I and Clarise of Monaco, making him the heir apparent to the throne of Monaco. His parents died subsequently after his death as a result of a sailing accident.

Christian grew up how you'd expect the heir to one of the richest royal houses to - he grew up with a diamond-encrusted spoon in his mouth. Materially, he had no wants. He was private schooled by his tutors on account of his wings and his grandfather's desire to keep the "deformity " concealed.

Christian rarely left the his palace in Monaco and because of that, he remained largely isolated from the events of the world and remained committed to living the life laid out for him - marry his betrothed, succeed his grandfather and become the king of Monaco, live a life without controversy and speculation.

At the age of 21, Christian was married to his betrothed, Princess Amalia of Denmark. Their marriage was peaceful and quiet. Shortly after their marriage, they embarked on a world tour, meeting various leaders and dignitaries. On one of their stops in Denmark, they attended a gala in Copenhagen. When they returned to the hotel room, Christian noticed that something was odd about Princess Amalia. He could feel that she was not the same and something had fundamentally changed, although he could not put his finger on it.

From this moment, their relationship took a turn for the worse - although their interactions were pleasant and they remained in close proximity with each other, Christian could tell something was not right and any affection he held for his wife steadily evaporated.

In 2019, Christian happened to be in Greenwich, Connecticut, for an investor meeting with the managing partner of one of the worlds most successful hedge funds - Stephen Huntington. It just so happened that he crossed paths with his daughter, Rosaria Huntington, at the time.

The meeting with Rosaria Huntington, although brief, left him permanently changed. It was as if something within him had been awakened. Apart from his wings, Christian began to experience odd things - he grew significantly stronger and resistant to aging and injuries. His senses also became heightened, and the range of his eyesight grew significantly. But perhaps the most significant change was that he seemingly could see people's auras. And when he met his wife again, Christian was struck by the thick black aura around her. He never saw his wife ever again after that.

Over the next few years, Christian's life was changed forever. His wings, which were previously small enough for him to fold away discreetly, grew significantly. His metabolism also increased significantly, as did his strength and his sight.

At night, Christian was plauged by the same dream - Rosaria Huntington screaming for help, her body seemingly made of light. One night, 2023, however, the dreams changed - she no longer screamed for help. Her body was still made of light, her eyes a pale lavender, and her hair replaced by strands of cosmic flames. In his dream, Christian saw Rosaria Huntington change from a human to a "being of light."

Unable to understand this, Christin began his journey to find Rosaria Huntington, only to learn that she was dead. However, Christian never believed this due to the vividness of his dreams and began to delve further and further into who she was and why he had those dreams.

As time passed , Christian began reading into the dreams further and further. He found Rosaria's channeling to he incredibly inspiring and began to take it as a sign of starting to accept his own mutations and began to be increasingly public with his own mutant abilities, and also began to vocalize his advocacy for mutant rights globally, despite his grandfather's disapproval.

During this time, Christian also came across the Order and slowly began to connect the dots between what the Order was and who the manifestation of the Phoenix was. Soon enough, Christian was able to triangulate the Order's activities to Northern Jutland. This was confirmed once Rosaria left the Order and returned to L-Mansion of course. Rosaria's return to L-Mansion also prompted Christian to formally join the X-Men in hopes of repaying Rosaria for inspiring him to accept his own mutant abilities and mutant status.

TRIVIA

Suspected to be descendants of Cheyarafim mutants - an ancient race of mutants who were famously denoted by angelic-looking wings and the ability to self-heal and heal others.
