someone (me) should write a fic where jayce feels so bad after killing viktor that he throws himself into the timeloop again and he fucks around in several different timelines trying to change the outcome and do whatever he can to ensure viktor doesn't go down the path he does. but none of it really matters because he couldn't stop viktor the time it mattered

maybe, just maybe, jayce finds a timeline where things feel right. and he does things differently this time, and things are okay, and maybe things even work out. viktor doesn't go off on his own and jayce takes care of the hexcore and it's all okay. but no amount of fixing things and growing old with viktor in this timeline will ever feel real or right enough because jayce couldn't stop viktor the it mattered

every time i consider posting any substantial warframe thoughts on here i remember how some people are treating/wildly misinterpreting characters from an expansion that hasn’t even released yet. let alone other characters we’ve had the time to consider for however long they’ve been active in the plot. like are we playing the same game. looking at the warframe tag has devolved into me gritting my teeth and going “they would not fucking say that” every 2 seconds because so many people on here cannot engage with the story or any of its characters unless they can jack off to their watered down and completely inaccurate caricatures of them. i realize the irony of me posting this from my sideblog that is 90% devoted to me going omg kyaa >_< over video game people but sometimes i have to get serious. this isn’t me saying we shouldn’t have headcanons or speculate on anything i think that’s the most fun you can have sometimes especially when we’re all waiting for 1999 and what’ll come after as well. i just cannot wrap my head around people who just… so clearly do not like or care about certain aspects of the plot/characters bc they’ll misinterpret stuff SO badly and so on purpose. like. it has to be on purpose right. nobody’s comprehension of this video game is that bad right guys. guys? haha

this is not directed at anyone or anyone specific btw everyone who i’ve chosen to interact with on here has been very kind and smart ^__^ this is more of just a general fandom-y complaint i’m having since with most things i like i do not engage with their fans/online spaces at all simply bc most of the time i can’t be bothered to/i know it’ll just kind of annoy me to do so. so i’m not used to what i’m sure everyone else is in regards to seeing really bad readings of stuff they like on the internet. i’m also not online much in general so joining tumblr and seeing everyone frolic about and be so active in fan spaces has been simultaneously super awesome and super overwhelming. warframe has been the exception bc in general i feel like we’re all pretty normal here. and also 99% of the stuff i look at is just pretty captura pics. like. i have the tag for fanfiction as a concept blocked i have a VERY curated experience and most of the time it is very chill and nice and beautiful. but sometimes stuff slips through the cracks and i pop a blood vessel. sorry for the essay this has just been broiling and marinating inside my skull for a few hours due to my notoriously sticky and horrid brain. and baby the crock pot timer just went off. post served. here it is. xoxo

Wayne did say there was a deeper meaning behind HLAGE. And that it meant a lot to him (If i'm remembering correctly.)

And I think they said that gnome chompski representing chat was close and/or correct. Could the series sort of be a representation towards how he feels about streaming and creation? Having the gnome AKA "chat" take over and play HL2 sort of like a representation of having this giant shadow of what people want for HLVRAI2 sort of thing.

And also having this sort of love hate relationship. And growing fond of the gnome anyways, to the point that he realizes he misses the gnome when it's gone. (Never thought I realized idk the gnomes pronouns).
