it is really interesting what they're doing with Kara in My Adventures with Superman, they're clearly drawing from a lot of different versions of the character; starting out fairly morally fucked up is kinda similar to the 2005 run, having a connection to a Brainiac is reminiscent of how versions of Kara have dated Brainiac-5 in the past, and obviously it's been pointed out before that Kara and Clark being roughly the same age when Krypton was destroyed is drawing from Power Girl's origin

this latest episode actually plays with that inspiration even more - because Karen's ship was slower and took longer to get to Earth than Clark's did, she was raised by the computer in her ship, kept in a simulation of Krypton to learn and grow up in

this Kara - in a twist on that - was raised by Brainiac (a computer) in a spaceship and spent her childhood in simulations of Krypton's past, and that was used to shape her perception of what the empire was and subliminally brainwash her

Genuinely always loved the idea that after the events of the second movie, he becomes a full blown paranormal phenomenon researcher/investigator.

Traveling around the country investigating phenomenon's much like It, maybe even keeping a record or book of his findings.

And of course keeping up with the losers as much as he can, he's the glue that keeps them all together. Even if he's the only one writing letters, sending emails, texts, or even the occasional calls.

He's enthusiastic about these nightmarish horrors beyond our comprehension!!! Raving about aliens and ghosts and creatures that eat your skin alive!!!

Here comes a sappy post just because it’s the end of the faith in the future world tour era. I am so incredibly happy and proud of louis. i think we have all seen him grow exponentially as an artist and thrive on stage. he really has become his own artist and a recognizable one at that. i cried several times tonight because of how emotional it all was. and how emotional HE was. he nearly cried several times and we all felt it in the crowd. the energy was insane. everything was vibrating. i’m so so happy and proud of everything he’s accomplished. what a fucking epic era. i can’t wait for the next one where he’s even more himself and even more free as an artist to be him. that’s all i ever want for him. i love you louis. thank you for the hell of a ride.
