9 Days of Solomon— Day 3: Knife

Purgatory Hall gang in the kitchen.

“Okay care to explain yourself, Solomon?” The angel towered over the said sorcerer who kept his face down yet with smile. “What did we talk about you in the kitchen?”

“Is not allowed,” he laughed to himself faintly.

“Because?”

“I might 'accidentally' cast a spell or misplaced some stuff amd that make you and Luke confused.” Solomon stated it clearly that's what the two angels told him. He continued before Simeon could ask “I just want to help you said you're going to be busy tonight so..”

Simeon seemed to not pleased by what he just heard but his expression didn't fallen. That's the scary part of his It's soften though, angels like him are kind regardless. “I appreciate your generous intention, but the fact that you break our promise is still there.”

Solomon pulled out his guilty face, made the angel sigh “Another reason is: I'm afraid for your safety, understand?”

That made the human even more confused, he had make a several dishes and meal by now, plus he can protect himself why that should be a problem now “it's not my first time cooking, you know? You need not to worry”

Simeon sighed again, he noticed the little angel walked in the room behind him and asked about what happened and why he is now sitting on the floor. The older angel gesture him to stand up right, and he was thankful of it he didn't think he could sit like that any longer.

“All right, you can help with this dinner but why don't you show Luke how you grab the knife so he can understand.” He looked not so sure about his own decision but Solomon didn't wait for his second thought and grabbed the knife.

Suddenly, Luke was hid behind his guardian with a shock expression. “I have to admit your way of holding knife is kind of.. weird, it's not so friendly let's say that”

Luke, sheepishly, words out “You looks like that scary guy in horror movie Leviathan make me watch with” Solomon thought he must meant the murderer from some B grade movie, but he hold the knife just fine he sure, it's not like he will drop it and harm anyone “It's like you about to stab someone, with that smiley face of yours”

The human gasped, no one ever told him it gave out that vibe, or again no one really saw his cooking process. He let out a faint ‘oh’ then looked down at his hand and tried to recall how Simeon hold it to follow but couldn't do it perfectly.

“I think we can use this opportunity to teach you how to make it less.. dangerous? So that at least you can help us chopping some ingredients ” The angel said after a short while he trying.

That's the first time ever someone offer him a chance to help in cooking-a chance after once banned, normally it's permanent so this is first- of course he gladly accepted it “Sure thing Simeon”

Simeon taught him since the first step not just to hold a knife but he started from how to wash the vegetables to how to place his hand on the things to cut, what the size of the ingredients should be, and so much more. But hey he enjoyed it, and he could see Luke listen to it as well since, much to his displeased, he was too young to concern with sharp objects and the older angel forbid him from them. He promised to teach him when he older though.

“It's not fair, Simeon always chop them for me when I want to bake...” He could hear the little angel grumbled and he couldn't stop the urge to tease him

“ haha guess you have to be patient, kid ” and wow how much that work to provoke him, Luke exclaimed loudly. If only he wasn't got slight smack in the arm from Simeon he would continue.

“Why don't you try to keep your pose properly instead?” that smile was telling him that Simeon was just play along as well with light force he put in that smack. But if he didn't do as he said and joke more, it would turn into something not joking at all. That's why Solomon agreed easily, he was scolded once and didn't want twice.

They let the cozy and warmth of kitchen brought them into comfortable and little chat while cooking. Stew's smell in stock pot, the knife was put back in shed, plate set on the table. He sat at it with glass of water in hand, he didn't made the whole meal for them but making it with them is nice too.

I think it would be funny if not only Solomon do everything just like the recipe said and it still turn out.. yknow but he have a strange way to hold stuff and with it is something dangerous like knife our angels would never let it slide when they know (start from polite excuse to keep him away from kitchen tho)

Random Obey Me! Headcanons Part 2

During the first year of the exchange program and when MC couldn't fend for themselves yet, the only way they were allowed out of the house "alone" was with Cerberus accompanying them. And when I tell you the hellhound did an amazing job at protecting them… all it took was a slightly off-putting stare at MC for it to send back the most terrifying glare and loud growl at the demon eyeing them. These outings of theirs once resulted in a pretty infamous picture going viral, where MC was mindlessly buying ice cream at a stall while Cerberus was beside them giving off the most ominous aura as all its heads glared at someone off-screen. You can imagine all the memes that came from it.

When Satan was a baby he used to have constant nightmares about the war and would always wake up screaming and crying, waking up everyone with him. Because of this Lucifer would have to stay up at ungodly hours of the night trying everything he could to calm him down, having to rock the tiny demon in his arms for hours around the corridors till he eventually went back to sleep. At some point Diavolo suggested that he read for Satan, as it was a less energy-draining method. And although Lucifer didn't really see the point given that Satan was a baby and couldn't even understand words yet, he gave it a shot anyway. It ended up working, to both his relief and surprise.

When Mammon first realized he could both understand and tell crows what to do he thought he was going insane. And the brothers were all sure he was lying when he first told them of his ability, having to see firsthand Mammon order around an army of crows as if it was nothing. They were definitely left speechless that day.

Asmo has a podcast where he mainly talks with other famous influencers from the Devildom and demons in the fashion or music industry. All the brothers participated in an episode at some point, and so did MC, the Purgatory Hall crew, and Diavolo.

If MC has a similar clothing style to Mammon's, he'll let them have the clothes he doesn't use anymore. And there's a TON of them, since he buys so many just out of greed and never bothers wearing them more than two or three times.

A few months into the exchange program Diavolo came up with an idea to have the whole gang ( HoL, Purgatory Hall, and the Demon Lord's Castle ) meet up monthly to hang out, have dinner together, etc. It was another way he found to strengthen the bonds between everyone, and no one was allowed to miss it. In the beginning it was a chore to participate but now everyone gets excited when the end of the month starts coming around and they can meet again.

This one time when the brothers were all drunk playing stupid games together they decided that whoever ended up last would have to get an embarrassing tattoo of whatever the others chose. Belphie lost, and to this day the brothers still crack up whenever they catch a glimpse of the small tattoo on his rib that reads "baby of the family". Belphie always gets pissy about it, making them tease him even more.

( Spoilers for lesson 16 ) I went into more detail about this in another post but I believe MC also carries memories from the Celestial War because of their connection to Lilith. And this is something that brings them closer to Satan, since as mentioned before, he also has memories of that time but from Lucifer's perspective. Aka, trauma bonding ✨

Following the tattoo headcanon, Belphie definitely lied to MC about the rib tattoo at first since they didn't couldn't understand Infernal and didn't know what it said. Man 100% told them it meant something else and made up some deep story behind it to make himself look cool or whatever. But it all came crumbling down when everyone went on a trip to the beach and the brothers brought up his "adorable tattoo". He never felt so embarrassed in his life.

Ever since finding out about pride month, Asmo made it into a thing to visit the human realm every year to celebrate it by going to the biggest parade happening that year. And he always drags the brothers with him, making sure to pick outfits for Belphie, Beel, and Lucifer since none of them know how to "dress properly for pride." He just can't let what happened the first time they went happen again, with everyone at the parade wearing colorful and beautifully elaborate clothing while these 3 looked completely out of place ( Lucifer was wearing a full black suit, just so you have an idea. So yeah, he was sticking out in the crowd like crazy ).

As a joke, every time Father's Day comes up the characters go around giving Lucifer, Barbatos, and Simeon shitty gifts and wishing them "Happy Father's Day". But not Beel, who even though knows everyone's doing it for a bit, still gives them a genuine gift and a sincere smile every time. Because let's be honest, these three deserve some actual acknowledgment for raising their troublesome children-not-children. ( Fun fact: Diavolo gives Barbatos both a gag gift and an actual one, and Luke gives Simeon a gift while trying to make it seem like he's just doing it for the joke, though it's obvious he means it. )

Long ago when anime wasn't a thing yet Levi used to be obsessed with marine life. He had extensive knowledge of it and would be pulling random ocean facts out of nowhere and leaving everyone confused. And he absolutely loved sharks, like, you know those people that'll go into great detail to explain why our perception of sharks is fucked and they're actually sweethearts? Yup, that was Levi. Also, if you said your favorite animals were dolphins? Oh, you'd be seeing the most disgusted look show up on his face. ( He'd too explain that dolphins are evil and why you shouldn't like them at all, completely ruining your view of them )

Since Asmo, Beel, and Levi are represented by cold-blooded animals ( a scorpion, a fly, and a serpent ) I headcanon that they can't generate a lot of body heat and touching their skin when it's cold would feel like coming in contact with freezing ice and definitely not the move if you're looking for warmth. Lucifer, Mammon, Satan, and Belphie though? These 4 become MC's personal heaters when winter comes around, and you better bet they're demanding cuddles from all of them ( cold-blooded gang be jealous as fuck of this ).

Solomon puts weird shit on what he cooks on purpose just to fuck with everyone. His grandpa ass finds it absolutely hilarious how everyone tries to keep him away from the kitchen at all costs while simultaneously doing everything to avoid outright saying his cooking is terrible because they don't want to hurt his feelings. Because come on, how does a man who's lived this long on his own not know how to cook? He can follow strict instructions to make the weirdest potions ever but not a recipe to make a simple dinner? Nah, I don't buy it. He definitely knows how to cook and does a decent job at making food for himself when he wants to.

Trouble in Gambler's Paradise

What's this? We actually got a little bit of political intrigue in Nightbringer Lessons 51 + 52 amid all the usual shenanigans? In our OM?! It's...not as likely as we wish, but we did get some!

(spoilers for NB Lessons 51 and 52 below the cut)

A quick recap: Our entire cast is going to Meowcao to fulfill Mammon's wish after he won in the RAD Science Fair for Devildom Geography. They have the entire town reserved for three days thanks to Diavolo, as he is a major shareholder for the Three-Legged Crow Group, which powers most of the technology in Meowcao. Him being the Demon Prince is probably also part of it, though what we find out makes this all the more interesting.

MC, the brothers, and the Purgatory Hall gang all arrive in Meowcao and end up getting roped into a game -- they have to gamble their souls. While that sounds about right for the Devildom, it's quickly made clear that this is an unusual request and we're now in danger.

For once, this particular situation is not due to some curse but happens because Meowcao is actually home to a considerable number of demons that oppose the Demon King. We find this out from Diavolo himself as he travels with Barbatos, Thirteen, and Mephistopheles to catch up with the others in Meowcao.

Thirteen and Mephistopheles point out that this makes the trip open to danger, and sure enough, none of them can get in contact with the rest of the cast as we're all trapped in a life-or-death situation.

Something we have a constant gripe with in OM is that we have a very powerful cast, yet somehow they end up in situations that they should all easily be able to get out of -- but thankfully, now and then, the game does give us a logical reason, and this is one of those times. In this case, the reason the magic worked on our cast is because it was originally Diavolo's. He had used magic to set up a fun welcome game for everyone using the three mascots of the Three-Legged Crow Group, but it was then hijacked by the hostile demons.

We were able to escape with our lives thanks to some clever thinking by Belphie, and after reuniting with the entire cast it seems we can all just go and have some fun.

Right?

We're then given the choice between shopping, the theme park, or the casino. Each scenario puts you with different characters, but they all include a similar situation -- a random demon showing up to attack.

In all three scenarios, MC is fortunately able to quickly use their magic to stop the demon. Notably, if you choose shopping, Solomon hones in on the fact that we were able to do it without having to recite an incantation. The demon then gives up and disappears, and we resume doing our fun activities like nothing ever happened.

It's only when MC brings it up the next day that anything gets addressed -- but it's just focused on MC's magic. They note that MC's power is getting stronger, making them susceptible to magic sickness and the potential to lose control. Solomon says he'll be mindful of that in his trainings with you, and tells everyone that they need to keep MC's growing magical power in mind.

You know what we don't talk about though?

The actual attacks!

Sure, the demons were quickly taken care of by MC's attack spell, but you would think there would be a bit more conversation around the fact that our cast was attacked multiple times by hostile demons! And in all three cases of the latter attack, the mystery demon specifically calls out their relationship with "the future Demon King" as the reason for targeting them. Will we see that get addressed in later lessons? The naming of "Demon A" does seem to imply the existence of a "Demon B", "Demon C", etc...so maybe! But given OM's track record, we also wouldn't count on it.

Over the course of OM's story, it's been reiterated that Diavolo's RAD Exchange Program is not heavily favored. Some demons at RAD have slowly come around as they've gotten to know the exchange students, but he is still fighting a constant uphill battle as he tries to forge peace among the Three Realms -- and these recent lessons show that there are still some demons who are ready to take more drastic actions to bring it all to a halt.

Thanks everyone for being so patient! I took a little break. It’s the start of summer blues.

Prompt 8 for Wally Clark

“Well, I do.”

Y/n has known Wally for years. When you’ve been stuck at the same high school for a few decades you tend to become friends.

Sometimes you know each other so well, the friendly conversations can turn into flirty banter.

The gang was having their monthly round of hide and seek. Rhonda was seeking, she loved chanting “Come out, come out. Where ever you are…” in a creepy tone down the vacant halls.

Y/n found the perfect spot, a small crawl space in the back of the art room. Wally just had to follow her.

“No get out of here!” Y/n whispered, trying to shoo him.

“You don’t just get to claim spots, we can share!” He told her, scooting into the small space with her. He covered it up with a piece of board that was over it before.

“Just because I’m the reigning champion does not mean you can freeload off of me.”

It was true. She was unfindable. She always spent all month preparing different spots. A few she can run from and then too, just in case.

Wally always tried his best but he was always found first.

“But you’re so selfless, and kind. I was hoping you’d be willing to make an acceptation for your dear friend.” He loaded on complements.

“Awe, if I didn’t know any better I’d think you were flirting with me.” She told him in a sarcastic tone while rolling her eyes.

“I am.”

She looked at him, well tried to. It was dark and she couldn’t make out his face well. But it didn’t seem like he was joking.

Her breathe hitched. It was stuck in her throat.

“What?” She whispered, questioning if she heard him right.

Because if he said what she thinks he said, that would be absolutely ridiculous.

They both froze when they heard Rhonda’s taunting voice. She opened the door and stepped in the room.

Y/n covered Wally’s mouth. She’d deal with him later, she’s not loosing because of him.

Her heart raced as heat radiated off him in the small space. Also because Rhonda’s footsteps made their way to the counter. Where they were hiding.

After what felt like hours of waiting for the worst. It sounded like she left. Her voice trailed down the halls as she sang and teased her next victim.

If Y/n was a master hider, Rhonda was the perfect horror movie villain she was hiding from.

She slowly removed her hand, Wally swallowed hard.

“Did you say you were flirting with me?” She asked, hushed.

He didn’t skip a beat.

“Yeah, did you not know?” He asked as if it was the most obvious think in the world. “I have been, for like ever.”

She relaxed back to her original position. Contemplating.

He had been flirting with her? For how long?

“No, I didn’t know.” She quipped, crossing her arms.

Wally let out a small laugh. He corrected it immediately.

“Sorry, it’s just- I thought you...” He cleared his throat.

“I thought you liked me? No way.” She interrupted.

Wally tilted his head. Of course he liked her. He has since she’s been stuck in this horrible purgatory with him.

“Well I do.” He stated. “And now this in awkward.”

He shifted in place, trying to find something other than her face to occupy his mind.

“Why?” She asked, filling the painful silence.

It wasn’t hard for him to answer.

“Cause, you organize all these games. You make being dead kinda fun. I’ve been a lot less miserable since you came around.”

She paused, trying to find a response that didn’t make her sound uninterested or desperate. She settled on a simple explanation.

“Well it’s the least I can do, you guys have helped me a lot. I wasn’t always like this.” She told him.

“I know.”

Her head jerked to look at him, in question. She was a little disturbed. “Okay, stalker.”

“Wait no-“

“First you follow me to a small dark room, then tell me you know what I was like before I died. Sounds stalkerish to me.” She laughed.

Of course she was joking, she knew most of the living kids by names. Knew their schedules and lives. She wanted what was best for them, she was pretty protective over the kids at school. She hoped Wally felt the same when she was living.

“It’s just… I always kinda saw you.” He looked at her with those eyes again. The eyes that wanted something from her.

“Well what do you want? This is flattering but I’m not sure what it means.” She admitted not so gracefully.

“Well I’d love to kiss you, but you have your game face on.”

He’s right. She took these games very seriously.

“Meet me when I win this thing. Now out.” She pointed to the board between them and the classroom.

His eyes told her. “Come on.”

“Go on, out. Plenty of time for flirting when I’m victorious. You’re bad luck.”

“Fine.”

“And don’t rat me out! You’ll pay…”

Prompt: How I think a relationship with Simeon and Barbatos looks like <3

Pairing: Barbatos × Gn!Mc × Simeon

Genre: Fluff, headcannons

AN: I'm having thoughts about these two, so suffer along with me lol. If I think of anything else later I might add <3

You being in a polyamorous relationship with Simeon and Barbatos is basically three tired caretakers taking care of each other. Doesn't matter if you're a chaotic little shit (affectionate), just being around these two will bring out their nurturing side.

You three bring out the best in each other and your children, and yes, by your children I do mean Luke, Diavolo, Solomon and the brothers.

Your relationship often includes making sure Barbatos doesn't overwork himself, that Simeon is not just putting up a smiling facade, and that you do not burn yourself out due to the various shenanigans the brothers get into.

Tea time is a must, at least twice a week. Barbatos needs the time to unwind with his most beloved darlings. It's usually held at the Demon Lord's Castle, and everyone else knows better than to disturb you three when you're having tea time together unless it's life-threatening.

Not much pda in the relationship, unless you initiate it. Both Simeon and Barbatos are the kind of people who don't see a reason to flaunt your relationship, unless they are jealous or want to make a point, but neither are opposed to giving you the affection you want. Simeon is comparatively bolder in public, often pressing his lips against your forehead or cheeks in a chaste gesture of affection before you have to leave for class, while Barbatos is more reserved, opting to place a guiding hand on your lower back when you walk alongside him. Even with each other, they are the same way; very subtle in their affections.

They are very affectionate in private though. Within the privacy of Simeon's room (because yours is basically the HOL's living room now, and Barbatos' room just has... doors), expect to be utterly drowned in their affection. So, so many kisses they shall bestow upon you, make sure to give some back to them. Also, both of them are big fans of ganging up on you, but with enough of an incentive, one of them (usually Barbatos) can be convinced to betray the other(usually Simeon) and help you bully him <3

Barbatos is the biggest tease when he wants to be. He'll spend the entire day giving you and Simeon just enough fleeting touches and soft affection that by the end of it you will have gotten permission from Diavolo to steal his butler for a few hours, while Simeon would have made arrangements at Purgatory Hall for the three of you to spend time basking in each other's presence and love.

Picnic dates! Where Barbatos chooses the spot and you and Simeon make the food! And you guys make flower crowns for each and talk for hours or just sit in comfortable silence.

Also, your relationship dynamic is very domestic. Like yall have been married for years. It especially shows when the three of you cook together. As rare as it can be, it's always fun, with gentle and soft kisses exchanged as you work in the kitchen seamlessly. Anyone watching the three of you in the kitchen will feel like it's a carefully choreographed dance, with the way you all move around each other, each one working on their task while stealing glances at their lovers.

Simeon loves watching you and Barbatos interact. Especially when Barbatos knows exactly which buttons to push to get you flustered and has made it his life's mission to make you blush as much as you can. He also thoroughly enjoys himself when you turn Barbatos' subtle flirtations against him and fluster the ever-composed butler instead. Also gets ideas to base the main characters of his next works off of you two, but always ends up liking what he's written too much to share with anyone else.

Barbatos, on the other hand, likes to make Simeon flustered himself more than watching you fluster him. Simeon has the cutest reactions, and so whenever he gets the chance to, Barbatos makes sure to fluster him as much as possible.

Luke sees you as his parent, no doubt about it. Solomon is a little shit who likes to tease you, while Diavolo is positively ecstatic for the three of you. Lucifer and the brothers, despite trusting Simeon and Barbatos, are almost comically overprotective of you.

Barbatos is more accepting and open about his possessiveness over the two of you, but Simeon will be a little more reluctant to act on his possessive tendencies. But you best believe that Barbatos will coax him into acting on his desires a little more.

It's Luke's birthday so I decided to share this design for Luke's female version here too!

I take my elementary school uniform as a big inspiration for this design because canonically Luke looks like a 10-year old child too. (Though I really should have drawn her taller, I just forgot Luke not being that short because I kept calling him Chihuahua all the time)

There are many elements in this design that remind me of what I usually wear at Luke's age as well:

Puffy sleeves

Knee-length skirt with suspenders that form a criss-cross at the back

Mary Jane shoes

Colorful hair ties

Braids (or twin tails, but I decided to give Luke braids here because it's cuter)

Wow nostalgia really hits like a truck after this. This is pretty fun. I will try to finish Simeon's next to complete the Purgatory Hall gang ^^

the audience for this post is like, the two people who have already seen it on discord, but nonetheless, i want to share.

my mc's name is winter. she's pretty straight-laced, logical, generally rule-abiding but will get into trouble if she finds herself lacking a challenge or something to keep her hands busy. on my obey me writing blog (cuz i have a twst one now too!) i have plans to write for her as an mc and ship her with solomon. but i ALSO have plans to write a winter x mc au and. i've been having some really good thoughts on that.

for starters, the general premise is that the exchange program accepted three being from each realm (which makes room for the angel oc i have brewing... 👀) and she's one of human exchange students. she's a self-taught sorcerer that's very much stuck at a beginner level, in part due to the fact that she had no idea all of this magical realm stuff existed before coming to the devildom. she applied for the exchange program in hopes to get more credits for her phd. obviously, she was not prepared for this situation, but she adapts pretty quickly and does well at RAD.

since it's a winter x reader au, winter lives at purgatory hall with the other exchange students. their dynamic is so wonderful to me-- in the house of misfits, she fits right in. she's an amateur writer, so she loves chatting with simeon over tea about novel ideas and eventually becomes a pretty faithful TSL fan. she's an exasperated solomon wrangler who dodges his cooking at every turn and is too prideful to ask the best sorcerer the human world has to offer for help with her magical studies. she's not all that fond of children, yet she finds herself protective of luke, letting down her guard to bake with him in the afternoons for all of their new friends. even raphael, someone she struggles to interact with (bc they're both oh-so-awkward) earbs her respect and affection over time as they're roped into shenanigans by their roommates. they make the dorm a home together.

but you? oh, how she's hopelessly in love with you.

in the chaos of the devildom, somehow her eyes are always drawn to you. she's not all that interested in making friends when she first arrives, dedicating all her energy to settling herself in the realm. but there's always things drawing you to each other. classwork, exchange program responsibilities, your growing camradarie with her roommates at purgaory hall. it's inevitable that you guys become friendly. she's awkward and always a bit stressed or nervous, but she's friendly enough in your interactions early on that you swap numbers about halfway through the year. groupwork turns into occasional text conversations, and eventually you're close enough to gravitate towards each other for a simple conversation at parties. by the time the exchange program ends, you're making promises to make time for each other in the human realm.

life happens. you guys keep up a friendship through texts and video calls. winter finds herself longing for an excuse to be intertwined in your life again. RAD was a rigorous school, but she'd do it all again to have an excuse to be dragged into late night study sessions with you. watching your life change from a small screen fills her with a strange sense of emptiness. when the call ends, do you still think about her?

your return to the devildom is revealed to her through a cheeky text from solomon. she's so incredibly *annoyed.* of course he'd use magic to steal you away and whisk you back to the devildom without her. oh, and simeon and luke are returning, too? lovely. the whole gang's meeting up eithout her. envious? never, she wouldn't stoop so--

she's jealous. obviously. there's some back and forth where he teases her (and makes her ask *politely* for his assistance) until he steps away for a moment to bribg her back to the devildom. finally, you're reunited!

it's in this stretch of time that she falls in love with you. oh, winter barnett, someone who adamantly denies herself pleasure in many forms, finds herself sickeningly subdued as she falls for you. once the realization hits her, it's like a poison has flooded her veins, leaving her in a stupor. she expected herself to be more resistant to the idea, but honestly... who is she to resist your charms? she knows you. she watched all seven of the demon brothers fall for you over the course of a year. it only feels natural to be drawn to you in the same way. you... so determined, so strong, resilent in the face of overwhelming chaos and somehow still standing at the end of it.

winter's a human. she's got a small farm in vermont and very mediocre magic to her name. she's not a famous demon, nor and angel, nor a powerful immortal. on some level, she knows she's not enough for you. maybe that's why she's content to keep her mouth shut for awhile.

maybe it's enough to sit quietly by your side, admiring your when you're not looking. maybe it's best to bide her time and hope that she can catch your eye one day. until then, she's content with the little things-- your smile, your texts, your laugh, the way you look at her from across the classroom and the way she's completely smitten against all odds.

OOH BOY he tends to come off pretty carefree, and sometimes mayyybe a lil bit shallow? but he tends to contemplate things very deeply, which he sees as a flaw since it makes him overly emotional about things that other people perceive as small so it's not a part of himself he really enjoys sharing

that side kinda just reveals itself normally anyway, he's not exactly great at hiding it, but a part of why he gets along with Belphie so well is that he feels more comfortable willingly sharing this side of himself since Belphie gets it

it's definitely not unique to say that post lesson 16 was his lowest point, yes because of *gestures at everything that happened* but it was made worse by his interaction with asmo before shit really hit the fan asmo genuinely appreciates the fact that sidra doesnt really care about his appearance or popularity and what he values is who asmo actually is, so the second he believes that their entire relationship existed so sidra could get to belphie, he's absolutely crushed and he begins to doubt all their previous interactions

so while sidra's trying to process the fact that he was killed, he can't even turn to the person he was closest to because, even though it was a big misunderstanding, he did accidentally end up hurting asmo and he just feels way too overwhelmed with everything going on to even think about trying to patch things up at this point even though in the long run it'd make everything a lot easier but it's hard so he just isolates himself further and sends himself into an even worse spiral and-

its ok tho the purgatory hall gang helps him a lot at this point and eventually they sort it out

and also hit japanese singer mafumafu is in his 30s and he is very cute so it just made sense at that point

“Noooo,” Rache's jaw fell open dramatically. “You gotta be pulling our legs!”

“I'm really not,” Kirana insisted, sinking deeper into the beanbag chair as her friends crowded around her. “They were super nice to me... It freaked me out even more than the clones and I ended up yelling at them.”

“You yelled at the Lords of Sin and survived?!” Erkid would have pounced on her if not for Talon holding him back. “How?!”

The lesser demons listened in shock and awe as Kirana explained how her alternate self had pacts with all seven Avatars, and without having to give up her soul too. “But even though I didn't, they were still so kind. I think they must really like the other me.”

“What about us?” Belyth asked. “We had to be there too, right?”

“You were, but I was a complete stranger to you. None of you recognized me, which really sucked.”

Igfuur squeezed the stuffed Devilbear in his arms. Vorgo opened another tin of snacks and offered Kirana her favorite candy.

“My room was so pretty, and there was so much stuff in it! I didn’t get to enjoy it much though, not when the brothers kept asking me to hang out with them. Satan was…” Kirana trailed off, but her reddening cheeks gave away exactly how she felt about her old crush.

“Do you wish you could’ve stayed?” Dracius spoke up quietly, and all heads turned to him. “You had everything there, and—”

Kirana grabbed his hand and yanked him down next to her. Dracius barely managed to avoid falling into her lap, blushing furiously at the close proximity. “Of course not! You’re my first friends here, and I wouldn’t trade you guys for anything!”

“Group hug!” Erkid and Rache yelled together before dogpiling the two. The rest didn’t hesitate to join in, glad to have their favorite human back with them again.

Purgatory Hall gang in DWBD AU

Solomon is beyond jealous. He knows about canon!Kirana’s pacts of course, he’d seen her use them here when the brothers had gotten a little too possessive of her, but how in the nine circles did she manage to land Lucifer all seven Avatars?! For free?! Canon!Kirana must have sensed how power-hungry Solomon is here because she doesn’t tell him anything, leaving Solomon no choice but to grill DWBD!Kirana when she comes back. Too bad she was too freaked out by the canon brothers to learn anything useful :)

Simeon is just glad DWBD!Kirana made it back safe and sound, but Luke is skeptical about her experiences in canon. He doesn’t believe the brothers could be genuinely nice, especially since the ones here have been trying all sorts of tricks to regain her friendship. Still, it relieves the angels to know that their Kirana was well taken care of, had lots of good food to eat and slept in a comfortable bed every night.

Purgatory Hall gang in canon

None of them would ever admit this out loud, but they miss having Kirana all to themselves.

They tell canon!Kirana about how her other self would automatically follow them back to Purgatory Hall after classes and spend most of her time there, and how they started buying extra groceries to prep meals for her.

They don’t mention how DWBD!Kirana had been so much more present with them, even if it’s because she was trying to get away from the brothers. It breaks their hearts to learn what happened to her in her own timeline, and they don’t hesitate to help her locate her lesser demon friends (and console her when they inevitably don’t recognize her).

“Thank you, for taking care of the other me,” Kirana says when she finally gets the chance to catch up with them after her return. She makes it a point to hang out with them more often, grateful that no matter which timeline she’s in, there’s people in her corner watching over her.
