“The other day I came across a sweet video of a mama bird using her wings as a shield from the rain pouring down on their little nest.

Nestled up under her protective feathers were three fluffy birds, comfy, warm, and shielded from harm. To the young birds, the pinions of their mother provide them with great comfort and care. They trusted her so they were obedient in staying underneath her wings and dwelled there until the storm passed.

Psalm 91:4 provides us with beautiful imagery of the same protective care the Lord gives to us.

Because we know God and His character, we can trust Him to be our shield and buckler.

Under His wings, we find sweet refuge, warmth, and comfort as He covers us from the storms of life.

May we choose to dwell under the pinions of the Lord forever.

Under His wings is our home. ”

If you don't suffer grief, then you have died before those who love and care for you.

If you don't factor suffering into your world view you are ill prepared to live in this world. Christians will suffer and your shouldn't be surprised when it happens. Any teachings to the contrary are false.

We recieve the ministry of the Holy Spirit when we are suffering.
