I’m not made for fandom spaces bc I don’t actually care when someone interprets art differently than me. My interpretation is just as relative, from their perspective I’m the one ruining the meaning of the text with my oversimplifications or my way-too-deep metaphor-focused analysis. I simply cannot be bothered to champion my opinion as the correct one when it’s just an opinion, when the whole purpose of art is forming your own meaning in response to it.

Roy doesn't become fuhrer and they both have to learn to live with that reality while still trying to make the world a better place. Part of that is both of them resigning. Then they decide to get married (been together long enough, right???) I don't have a lot down, but I imagine it's hard for both of them and there's a lot of resentment at first, especially in the first few years out of the military. But they love each other and their daughter, so it will work out ☺️

GOOD LORD i have not been able to think about anything else but Fig's undying devotion to her friends since last night's episode. I wonder if she's actually going to persue the paladin stuff, and if she does I wonder if they're going to make her a custom oath??? i know mechanically, oath of devotion is pretty versatile, but ALSO it would be so cool to find something that's so Fig. the way you could combine the warlock "relationships & agreements" stuff to an oath.... her love for her friends is so powerful :(

I sometimes think about call girl and Tupperware both being enby because like-

Human Kite is one thing, as you argue that since he’s an alien, his identity is a play on the whole genderless alien trope

But Call Girl and Tupperware I’ve had a harder time figuring out.

Tupperware sure, you could argue his identity comes from him being part robot, genderless robot being another common trope. However him referring to himself as a gender-neutral PERSON specifically, at least to ME, implies said identity comes from his human half, as opposed to the other way around (especially with the added detail of human kite’s profile specifically referring to him as an alien)

And call girl, being fully human, I genuinely can’t think of a reason for

I'm so soft for characters who are clumsy at love. who have never experienced proper care and affection, or have been deprived of it for far too long to remember what it feels like. characters who have met someone that lights up their entire world and they want so badly to be good for them, but dont know how. characters who are too afraid to make any moves because what if they do it wrong? what if they make a mistake? what if they're too rough or harsh? or what if their lover leaves them? or even worse, what if they've been mistaking this person's kindness as affection when really it was something else all along?

and even when they begrudgingly accept the fact that they wont be deserted, the fear never really leaves. the pining, the aching, the anxiety that drives them insane,,,,,,the angst is to die for.

and when things finally get better?? honestly I'm just so soft for those tender looks, those gentle touches, the hammering of their hearts as they urge themselves to do well, to be better, to reciprocate the same affection that this wondrous person has shown them. characters who are broken and insist on never breaking those who they love, just,,,,,,,,,,,I'm so weak for that
