a weird!reader that’s just a total horndog. Like will go multiple rounds until their partner is pleading with them for a break, on the verge of passing out from exhaustion- while !reader pouts and keeps going, chasing the high.

Maybe a weird!reader who has a hard time getting past the finish line, so they have an arsenal of toys just for those moments. And when their partner learns of this, (after the initial reactions that they’d have) wants to test drive all of them.

I have been mostly out of the sonic loop since like 2017 so I didn't realize there were genuinely people who like, i guess try to discourse about shadow the hedgehog being "50 years old"?? The Lion King wasn’t a ripoff of Kimba.

“There's a common claim that The Lion King (1994) started life as a Kimba the White Lion remake, but they were declined the rights and instead opted to "rip off" the series. There's no proof of such an agreement ever being attempted. Concept art of a white cub exists, but it is from the King of the Jungle stage of development where none of the other Kimba similarities existed. It doesn't help that Matthew Broderick agreed to be in the movie expressly because he thought it was a Kimba adaptation (which is frequently misinterpreted as him being told it was a Kimba adaptation, rather than a misunderstanding on his part).

The supposed similarities between Lion King and Kimba are themselves an example of this. Anybody who's ever watched both can tell you that the similarities are surface-level and superficial at best. While it's possible that some people who worked on Lion King were consciously or unconsciously influenced by Kimba, the idea of there being enough similarities to call the former a ripoff of the latter stems from ignorance and flawed, biased sources.

Additionally the urban legend didn't actually start in Japan, contrary to what even some published authors have claimed, but in the United States. the thing about having multiple/complex allergies is that sometimes the idea of including new things in my diet feels risky even when there's logically no reason to expect an issue. the idea of eating blueberries feels about as safe as picking up a random leaf and eating that even though there's no troubled history with other blueberry-like foods. my gut reaction to most diet-expanding suggestions is "sure and I'll rub myself in poison ivy while I'm at it," which is uh. not very helpful. all in all do not recommend
