Satoru Funjinuma autistic ace icon for real
Evidence:
Irritated by Kayo’s sarcasm bc he doesn’t understand it
Canonically tries to change his personality to fit in with the crowd/be accepted in school
Doesn’t realize when he’s asking Airi personal questions
Asks multiple people for advice on how to socialize
29, single, and frustrated by his mom’s and others’ attempts to set him up with people
All expressions of interest/attraction are vague at best and usually described as “embarrassment” more than anything else
The fulfillment of his life being found in his pursued passions and friendships/family rather than a romantic relationship at the end of the show
Conclusion:
[ID: A gif of Satoru winking and smirking. End ID.]
This man is asexual/a-spec and autistic and there is nothing you can do to change it.

broke: the doctor having two hearts represents “one being happy, one being sad” (sorry 13. it’s cute but like…)
woke: the doctor having two hearts symbolises the idea that he cares about everything twice as much
bespoke: the doctor has two hearts because, to quote paul cornell writing the shalka doctor, he “doesn’t like the military but has so many friends in it; he says he doesn’t kill but then… exterminates thousands”. always of two minds about any decision, any impossible choice. he’s completely human and completely alien. completely merciful and completely ruthless. contradicts himself constantly. breaks his own rules, sets new ones, repeat. the #1 hypocrite. two hearts like the two guards at the door of that riddle — one always lies, the other always speaks the truth — but not even he remembers which one is which

the dynamic of demigods thinking which other demigod is the most powerful is always amusing to me because. like, we know the big 3 kids are all the most powerful. That's just a fact of their universe. And then we know nearly every character views Percy as the strongest demigod, and most people are very rightfully intimidated by him.
and you look at the powers of the Big 3 kids and there's Percy, but then you realize Nico is just kind of objectively more powerful than him but simply chooses to hang out in Percy's shadow like he's Percy's scary dog privileges. Like, the two of them are pretty equally capable of causing multiple different apocalypses. Nico just also has like four different instakill powers and it's not like he doesn't use them. He very much uses them! Not infrequently, even! And they don't seem to take a significant amount of energy from him! And other demigods are pretty intimidated by both of them! But Nico makes a conscious point to keep his cards close to his chest and not let on exactly how dangerous and scary he can be if he wants to. People are already scared enough of him without knowing anything about him and he doesn't like that. Percy doesn't think about that nearly as much, and so usually just goes in guns blazing and that's part of why he's considered a wildcard. And then Nico himself puts Percy on a pedestal, so those who do know more about Nico's abilities then presume Nico knows something they don't about Percy that implies Percy is even stronger than him.
And even on a meta level Nico's narrative role requires him to be functionally more powerful than Percy, because he very often serves the purpose of getting Percy out of situations he can't handle on his own. That's just part of his function as a character! But also narratively he can't overshadow Percy so he just takes a backseat of his own accord and that's very amusing to me.

It irritates me alot when people say that making medic more compassionate is ''missing the point of his character'' when he is literally shown to be in the comics.... did you miss the part where he showed concern for both sniper and miss pauling's well being in comic 5 and 6.
His actions are a combination of genuine attachment + clinical interest and these things do not cancel out one another. He is always pushing boundaries and going against the grain and i think this is what led to him losing his license in the first place. He felt stifled by the rules imposed on him.
He is shown to be extremely passionate so it makes sense that he would use his endless fascination with medicine as a way to show his affection. He loves his friends so he will find a way to make them borderline indestructible. Malpractice is his love language.

Me before completing the forest temple: okay I get that ocarina of time is fun and nostalgic for people but it’s a bit of a stretch to call it one of the greatest video games of all time
Me after completing the forest temple: By revealing that Link is not a Kokiri, but a Hylian, the game effectively strips him of his humble origins amongst a group of people that already fail to recognize him in his adult form. Thus, kokiri village instantly becomes a location that is no longer Link’s home in any sense, exacerbated by the fact that the game now loads up in the temple of time instead of Link’s bedroom— he is a stranger in the only place that has ever been familiar to him and he is depressingly reduced to his destiny alone. However, the subsequent introduction of the time travel mechanic, which allows the player to travel from the horrific apocalyptic future back to the idyllic past of Link’s childhood, gives new meaning to the idea of this “destiny”. In effect, Link is not a stock “chosen one”, but a protagonist who consciously decides to fight onwards. Link’s dual existence as a child who knows the grim future and as an adult who was powerless to stop disaster gives a sort of desperation to his character, because while it brings the player relief to revisit the Castle Town that is populated by cheerful villagers instead of lurking zombies, the story can only be progressed through the acknowledgement of reality — the decision to make those seven years pass again. Therefore, both the player and Link as a character must be proactive in their heroism and make the conscious choice to struggle onwards despite the darkness that permeates—

One thing New Who doesn't really have that Old Who did was the thing where everyone (audience included) thinks the Doctor is this amazing genius from space with the best spaceship of all time, and then someone else from Gallilfrey shows up and goes "Oh, it's you. Did you get expelled from our university or did you just fail your degree? Is THAT what you're driving around the universe in? How does that thing even still work? And why are you dressed like that?"

the batter is so funny to me but i can't think about him for too long or i'll go completely insane. this man has slaughtered hundreds of innocent people with absolutely no remorse; including a sickly child and a man he found desperately screaming for help in the middle of a subway. his one goal in life is to find the world's off switch and shut everything down for good. and also he is 1 day old and looks like this

You should totally have Jeremy meet the gang if you haven't already!
I definitely should, so far this is the only time I’ve drawn him in the comic!

silent hill is objectively a very funny franchise because the entire premise is just, oh you have unresolved guilt and grief and trauma that you can’t move on from or process? you can’t come to terms with the truth of what happened or forgive it and it’s caused you to spiral into violence and self destruction? your ass is going to pennsylvania to face the horrors

we all joke about wwx being ressurected and treating it like being begrudgingly woken up from a nap, but there is also the underrated factor that it wasn't even a good nap. like yes he says he was a quiet and well-behaved little ghost, but he very much did die a horrifying death that would have turned anyone else into a ferocious vengeful ghost and thus lived 13 years in what was essentially an undending living nightmare according to mxtx herself
and he STILL woke up like "man wtf 😩 now i gotta get up and do stuff"
