The root of transphobia is always patriarchal and misogynist-- and aligned to reactionary economic and political structures preserving the family unit and the unequal private ownership of property. Every time.

This is what y'all want, right terfs? That women are just weak little flowers that could never ever do anything against those big scary inherently evil beasts!
I am old enough to remember when we were fighting for the idea that women could do anything a man could do, if not do it better. But no, here we are.

The dumb, mildly fetishist "traditional wife" blogs like making posts about husbands choosing their clothes.
Throughout much of human history, WOMEN chose their husband's clothes, not the other way around.
Why? Usually, the women had made the clothes right down to weaving and colouring the fabric. Men wore the clothes their wives and mothers made for them, sewed for then, or even bought for them. They did that, and made damn sure to be happy about it, or they wore nothing at all.
That's why matching family sets of traditional folk costumes are a thing.

Never forget; he's not a ~trad husband ~, he's a loser that thinks the fucking stepford wives is a viable 21st century economic model and an accurate portrayal of history.

Why procreation should be "a fact of nature" rather than a social, historically determined activity, invested by diverse interests and power relations, is a question Marx did not ask. Nor did he imagine that men and women might have different interests with respect to child-making, an activity which he treated as a gender-neutral, undifferentiated process.
In reality, so far are procreation and population changes from being automatic or "natural" that, in all phases of capitalist development, the state has had to resort to regulation and coercion to expand or reduce the work-force. This was especially true at the time of the capitalist take-off, when the muscles and bones of workers were the primary means of production. But even later — down to the present — the state has spared no efforts in its attempt to wrench from women's hands the control over reproduction, and to determine which children should be born, where, when, or in what numbers. Consequently, women have often been forced to procreate against their will, and have experienced an alienation from their bodies, their "labor," and even their children, deeper than that experienced by any other workers. No one can describe in fact the anguish and desperation suffered by a woman seeing her body turn against herself, as it must occur in the case of an unwanted pregnancy.
—Silvia Federici, "Caliban and the Witch: Women, the Body and Primitive Accumulation".

The reason that Matt Walsh made a movie called What is a Woman?, and surely wouldn't have made one called What is a Man, is that patriarchal ideology crucially requires powerful men to be the ones defining what a woman is, or what whatever they see as a woman is, and defining us as machinery owned privately by the men of the upper class and used in the reproduction of labour power and property relations. This is why transgenderism, especially but not exclusively of transgender women, is an existential threat to capitalist patriarchy-- it involves womanhood (and manhood) being defined by actors outside these material and ideological terms. Trans liberation involves the negation and destruction of the old, patriarchal and bourgeois senses of man and woman for the creation of new liberated ones.
If you ask someone “what is a Man?” they’ll probably start talking about the enterprises of the human spirit, and a history of expansion and exploration, and how a life is made up of values and achievements and goals and sacrifices — but if you ask someone “what is a Woman?” they’ll start talking about fallopian tubes or something

Lemlich was a Ukranian Jewish immigrant who emigrated to New York in 1903. She became a garment worker and joined the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union. She was a key leader in the Uprising of 20,000, the massive strike of New York garment workers in 1909. Blacklisted from the industry for her union work, she was active in the women’s suffrage movement. She joined was a leader of the United Council of Working Class Women. A life long activist, in her last years as a nursing home resident, Lemlich persuaded the nursing home to join in the United Farm Workers' boycotts of grapes and lettuce and helped the workers there to organize.

about me.
hello! i am apollo and i am aspiring to be an author and an activist someday. i come from a small, underdeveloped “post-socialist” country. i hope my blog will be helpful to everyone, and i try to be as open-minded on most topics as i can be. this is how i would describe myself:
i am a butch lesbian with heavy sex (& social) dysphoria. i would refer to myself as transmasc, and i am still very much trans-identified, as dysphoria has caused me much trouble over my formative years, and it has been making my life a true agonizing hell :)). i approach trans issues with sensitivity and criticism. i try my best not to be black-and-white about things; and i always try to be well-informed before speaking on anything. i love gender acceleration, and i would describe my views as gender critical. i am explicitly anti-racist, anti-capitalist & anti-imperialist. my views align with marxist feminism/proletarian feminism & radical feminism– which is why i would describe myself as a dual system feminist. my analysis & beliefs come from dialectical materialism, rather than idealism, which is why i’ve found myself in opposition with most trans rights activists. i am for abolishing the prison system, and i believe rehabilitation should be the goal, rather than punishment. drug addicts & recovering addicts have a special place in my heart ❤️‍🩹. i’m not vegan, but i appreciate & love all my ecofeminist sisters: i try my best to be vocal about animal liberation & climate activism. i believe the bpd diagnosis is being hyper-sold to female people, and this is because of medical misogyny & institutional sexism– it is being used as new age female hysteria. oh, and i’m also autistic. i love autistic women, and i wholeheartedly want to smash medical misogyny whenever i see how my neurodivergent sisters are being treated. 🇵🇸 FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA PALESTINE WILL BE FREE!!!
my special interest is gender abolition (i’m very very passionate about this!!!) and marxist politics. my current hyperfixations are harry potter (i’m a slytherin 🐍), greek mythology & mlp. i unironically use the word kinnie; my highest kins are severus snape, twilight sparkle and diane nguyen. i love punk rock music, and i love riot grrrl. ask me about ww2, i used to be very hyperfixated on it last year– i reviewed a lot of ww2-themed movies critically & pointed their historical revisionism out. i am a slavic patriot by heart, and will punch a westerner who chooses to ignore our beautiful history. tito, lenin, che guevara, rosa luxemburg apologist. also i’m very interested in soviet history (the night witches are so fascinating!!), north korean culture & cuban cuisine.
if you wish to block me, go ahead. if you don’t, cool. i don’t block people, i allow a wide range of people to interact, and quite frankly, i think dni lists are useless. won’t hold back if you’re going to attack me. will engage in respectful arguments, and also will engage in disrespectful arguments, with the same energy you give me.
check out @pokegyns! it’s a group blog modded by nuancefem discord server members, owned by our precious pikalay @tirfpikachu.
links to some of the posts of mine i find quite useful for people who are going to hate-scroll through my blog, and also for people who are interested in radical feminism, but are scared we’re a hate group.

awww the male chauvinists and rape apologists are mad. I will be happy once we kill all men and women could live without fear. keep up with the dick sucking and the internalised misogyny idc. You are a coward for saying all this shit anonymously. At least I am principed enough to admit my views. I hope you get all the male validation and dick you're so clearly desperate for. Not only is this cocksucker misogynist, they are also ableist and classist lmao. I may need therapy but you need some dignity and reading classes so you're not an uneducated foot soldier for the males.

One of the things that really bothers me about radfem logic, aside from the main reason it is bad (i e., repeating and legitimizing bioessentialistic ideology that copies from and reinforces the patriarchy they claim to fight) is this idea that any feeling that might be influenced by social conditions is somehow a fake feeling. It might be true that makeup only makes me happy because I grew up in a society that conditioned women to wear it. And I agree we shouldn't have to. But nonetheless, I am happy in a nice lip color. And I don't see a political reason to deny myself that joy. Obviously there are more extreme examples concerning sex and kink.
I think, corollary to their incorrect insistence that things like female "vulnerability" or "spirit" and male "threat" or "violence" are somehow biologically and metaphysically innate and not socially conditioned, they also have an insistence that anything they admit IS socially conditioned is just "fake." And these are both stupid theses.

Whose class interests (excepting those of the bourgeoisie) are served by advocating the desirability of contractual marriage and the consequent perpetuation of the subjugation of women? If we look at its material basis, we find that proletarian anti-feminism is most characteristic of those strata of the proletariat whose wages are sufficient to maintain a family at an average working-class standard of living. In such strata, where wages are adequate, a woman whose labor power is privately appropriated is a real bargain, for the same services, if waged, would be totally out of reach of the men.
Proletarian anti-feminism represents the particular material interests of highly paid, unionized male workers vis-a-vis women. The subjugation of women serves as a "natural" restriction upon the employment of female labor, and thus partially controls competition in the labor force. It keeps women unorganized and powerless in labor organizations. It secures male workers the benefits that accrue to them through their right to privately appropriate female labor power as well as the psychological "benefit" of always having a woman inferior to serve as a waitress, lover and servant, securely dependent and, at least theoretically, humbly grateful. No matter how low a man might fall, his wife is lower yet; no matter how powerless a man may truly be, his home is his castle and his subjects his wife and children.

For the first time on record, global warming has exceeded temperatures of 1.5° celsius over 12 months. This is an abject failure and the blood of every living thing is on the hands of the governments, politicians, billionaires, and people passionately against scientific truth that have refused to accept the reality and take the health of the climate seriously.
We have been warned by specialists for decades that this was going to happen if we didn't make drastic changes and here it is. Escalating conflict and funding genocide and endless wars only exacerbates this problem.
An acidic ocean cannot support life. An atmosphere full of co2 cannot support life. It will eventually reach a point where it is a positive feedback loop and we cannot undo any damage that was done.
This is where we are heading. The normal that we are desperately clinging onto does not exist anymore and it hasn't for a while.
WE DO NOT HAVE UNLIMITED TIME TO MAKE THE CHANGE WE NEED. THIS IS BEYOND WHAT ELECTORAL POLITICS CAN DO.
WE NEED URGENCY. WE NEED RADICAL, REVOLUTIONARY CHANGE THAT CANNOT BE ACHIEVED BY "VOTING BLUE NO MATTER WHO" OR "THE LESSER EVIL"
OUR LIVES AND THE HEALTH OF THE PLANET QUITE LITERALLY DEPEND ON IT.
Which brings me to my next point:
Democrats and Republicans are the same party with different faces. That is why, no matter how many promises sither party makes, nothing changes. Reject bourgeois "democracy." Believing there's a meaningful choice between different flavors of fascism and neoliberalism is a fallacy. Furthermore, the idea that voting for a third party as a meaningful act of resistance against the establishment is fundamentally misguided.
Instead of focusing on the election, CHANNEL YOUR TIME AND ENERGY INTO ORGANIZING. Organize with your community!! Radicalize the people around you. Help them understand that together we can make real, meaningful, lasting, change!!
The Amerikkkan political landscape is at a critical juncture and as the contradictions of capitalism increase exponentially, it's extremely important that we prepare for the impending collapse.
We are witnessing the sacrifice of all life in pursuit of maintaining capitalism and the west's rule over the world. What does power mean or hold when everything is dying? What does it matter that you have amassed wealth beyond comprehension when the cost is this big?
NOTHING is worth the needless death and suffering we are facing.
I do encourage you to vote locally, when you know it will matter, for things that will improve the quality of life for you and your community (WHILE ORGANIZING!!).
BUT!!:
NEVER BE DECIEVED INTO BELIEVING THAT OUR CAPITALIST OPPRESSORS WILL ALLOW YOU TO VOTE AWAY THEIR POWER.
