Sophie's face looks fine. It's not even remotely close to collapsing. Patty is almost 10 years older than her, you'd think she'd know what happens to your skin as you grow older. Especially when you hit pre menopause. I've been on chemical menopause for 18 months, I can see the effects for myself. Plus, Patty is the last person to make comments about how other people look. She's no great beauty herself. Largely due to the fact that she's full of bitterness and resentment. That ages you fast.

10 years on and the sQeptics are still batting zero. Ben is not interested in fame. He rarely gives interviews outside of work. That's why the press leaves him alone. That and the fact that there's no scandal whatsoever attached to him. And that anon wouldn't know Sophie is there because she's been blocked by almost everyone in the fandom. Like pretty much all the sQeptics left.

MC: Gandalf!? Now, don’t get me wrong, Gandalf is cool and all being a battle wizard and stuff, but nothing in the whole series is more impactful Sam’s and Frodo’s struggle and how their love was able to conquer mount doom! Not to mention how incredibly brave and loyal Sam was!

Yuri: Yes, i do agree how Sam and Frodo’s relationship was impactful, but the way Gandalf was a constant beacon of hope and wisdom anywhere he went, and the way he never refuse to give up on the journey, even coming back from the dead as Gandalf the White is such an ingenious way that Tolkien represented how no matter what there is always a way is spectacular.

MC: Yes, but is the personal struggle of Sam not an inspiring and hopeful tale? You do not need an embodiment of hope to show that there is hope always.

Yuri: Well, is the way Gandalf motivated, helped and even sacrificed himself for the fellowship of the ring not also inspiring, inspiring people to try to always do the right thing for the betterment of the future?

I love you, fics that take months to update. I click on the newest chapter and have no memory of this place and get to go back some chapters and rediscover how much i love everything about this story.

I love you, fics that take years to update. I think of you fondly, and know your names, go search for you and see an update from this year and scream, diving in uncaring of any missed details (i will finish the update and read you in reverse because this is a treat you have bestowed)

Here's how this repository works: all photos were taken by me, a human, at zoos, aquariums, sanctuaries, and other facilities with animals in human care. There is no AI involved in the photo editing or creation and there never will be. Right now there's 56 species on the site; my catalog has over 300 and I will be uploading the rest of them as fast as I can.

Artists creating derivative or transformative works (without AI) have blanket permission to use these references. Yes, even for work you're going to sell.

All other usage/reproduction requires permission, but assume I'm friendly and please do ask! That's educators, researchers, the media, people who need images for a school presentation, etc. This is just to retain copyright/control in case they're scraped/reused unethically - it doesn't meant I don't want folk to have access! So please do reach out via the contact form on the repository website, I don't bite and I'm most likely going to say yes.

Please don't repost the repository photos to your own blogs: I've created @animalphotorefs as a dedicated blog to share photos from the site, and of course I'll reblog a lot of it here! That again just helps with retaining copyright and sourcing of the images. If you really want to repost some for a specific purpose, please just ask me first!

Also, folks, this project has no funding. It's just me and my camera.

I don't think Patty realizes she keeps talking about the state of her marriage when she posts stuff like this. When you don't understand why a husband would choose to support his wife in her endeavours, then you don't know what a happy marriage looks like. It's clear she's envious of Sophie because Ben pays attention to her. Something Patty's husband hasn't done in a long time considering she's been at this for a decade.

Several weeks ago one of my coworkers called me over into her cubicle and gave me a very unexpected gift. Her mother passed away recently, and she'd been packing stuff up at her condo to give to relatives and sell, so the home could be sold. The mother was an avid knitter and crocheter, and when my coworker came upon her stash of equipment, she told me, she "immediately thought of me as someone who might get some use out of it."

So, I have inherited a varied collection of knitting needles and crochet hooks, cable needles, sewing needles, and, best of all, now-out-of-print pattern books, mostly for blankets, because that was what this lady loved to make most. Plus, I also have a bunch of gauge swatches she made, pinned to little bits of card covered in perfect schoolteacher handwriting setting out the patterns they were made to test.

And also...

My coworker brought another bag, full of yarn and...knitted blanket squares. Her mother's last started project, before she got too sick to continue. And she asked if there was anything I could do with it.

It turned out, there are twelve completed squares, and I quickly located the pattern book they are from amid those given to me. It's a book of 60 patterns, meant to be put together however the maker wishes into blankets of 20 squares. I figured out which of the numbered patterns were already made, and selected eight more that I thought might go well with them.

So now! I am working on completing! My coworker's mother's last knitting project!

And I really am feeling very good about doing it.
