The Perfect Holiday Marketing Tool: How Corflute Signs Can Boost Your Business
Tumblr media
The holiday season is the most wonderful time of the year for businesses. As consumers hit the streets and the internet in search of gifts, décor, and festive experiences, it’s essential to capture their attention effectively. Among the many marketing tools available, corflute signs stand out as a versatile, cost-effective, and impactful solution. Whether you’re running a retail store, pop-up shop, or holiday event, corflute signs can help boost your business during the busiest shopping season of the year.
What Are Corflute Signs?
Corflute signs are lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant signs made from corrugated plastic. They are popular for outdoor and indoor use, offering a practical and professional way to showcase your brand or message. Available in various sizes and easily customizable, they’re perfect for seasonal promotions, wayfinding, and event branding.
Why Are Corflute Signs Perfect for Holiday Marketing?
The holiday season is all about standing out in a crowded market, and corflute signs provide several advantages to help your business shine:

Whether you’re hosting a Christmas market or a New Year’s Eve event, corflute signs from printers Sydney Australia will stay intact and appealing throughout.
Lightweight and Portable
Need to set up and take down signs quickly? Corflute signs are lightweight and easy to transport, making them perfect for businesses on the go, such as holiday pop-ups or seasonal kiosks.
Eco-Friendly Options
Many corflute signs are recyclable, allowing businesses to minimize their environmental footprint while still reaping the benefits of high-quality signage. Choosing a responsible printing company can help you create sustainable marketing materials.
How to Use Corflute Signs for Holiday Marketing
Here are some creative ways to incorporate corflute signs into your holiday marketing strategy:
Promote Sales and Discounts: Announce your holiday deals with bold, eye-catching signs that draw in customers from afar. Place them near entrances, sidewalks, or in-store to guide shoppers.
Brand Holiday Events: Whether it’s a charity drive or a holiday party, branded corflute signs can enhance the atmosphere and reinforce your business identity.
Guide Visitors: Use directional signage to ensure a smooth shopping or event experience. Clearly mark parking areas, entrances, and specific sections within your space.
Festive Window Displays: Add corflute signs to your storefront for an extra touch of holiday cheer, complete with festive designs and messages.

Made Agency offer print services, complementing the efforts done online. Multi-channel marketing campaigns, blending the two approaches of digital and print strategies, have proved to be a successful route for reaching consumers on their varied touchpoints. A direct mail piece might spur the consumer on to check the website of the brand and see more about it, possibly buying the product. Social media campaigns can also bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds by using printed materials such as QR codes or promotional postcards. Print and digital marketing are not mutually exclusive, and it is best when they work in harmony with a single strategy.

let me preface this by saying i will love and adore and cherish s3 no matter happens. however, i will say — the one thing i want to see is carmy going out of his way to get back on sydney’s good side.
i’m talking begging for forgiveness, grovelling at her feet, bending over backwards for her.
imagine:
carmy gets out of that walk-in, sees the queasy look on her face, and is already drafting that notes app apology in his head. he tells her he’s sorry and that he fucked up and she tells him they managed to pull everything off without him but she cannot with his bullshit right now.
that hits him like a punch to the gut and, well, he gets it cause it’s definitely deserved.
but as the weeks go on, carmy tries to talk to her she only responds in shrugs, nods, and yes chefs. sydney goes home straight after service, after she helps with clean up, does not linger and talk in the office with him like they did before. carmy tries joking with her and she rolls her eyes more often than not. he asks her if she wants to work on the menu with him and she says no and he gets the feeling that she doesn’t even want to be alone with him anymore.
and that’s when he realizes — fuck. she’s so mad at him.
my girl is mad at me i want to die.
so? what else is carmy supposed to do but the most?
sydney comes in one morning and tells tina she was running late so she couldn’t stop by her favourite spot to get her morning latte. carmy overhears this and takes it upon himself to run to that spot, ten blocks over, to get her that latte. and when he gets back, sweetly and breathless, he gives it to her only to find out it’s the completely wrong order. but syd smiles, just a little, says a small thanks.
during family, he casually hints at the fact that he’s seeing a therapist now — says sorry chef i have therapy saturday afternoon when marcus asks if anyone would be down to go to the farmers market with him. because he needs her to know that he’s trying to get better. for himself, yes, but also for her.
his notifications are on and his phone is never on silent anymore — carmy vows to never miss a text or a call from her ever again.
carmy starts checking in with her about everything. when the walls need to be painted again he tells her, asks sydney if she’s okay with changing the floral arrangements but the bar, lets her know he’s ordering new aprons for the line cooks, runs tweets by her before posting them to the bear’s twitter account. and it gets to the point where syd has to tell him to chill — that she appreciates him not wanting to keep her in the dark, but some things just don’t need her approval. pats him on the shoulder and tells him it’s his restaurant, too.
it might come off as a bit showy but he tells her great work today, chef sydney after every service — because she is doing great work.
when sydney’s finally moving out of her dad’s place carmy is there, bright and early, moving her boxes into his car, trying to avoid the subtle stink eye her dad is giving him. again, deserved. he drives her out to her new place, helps her set everything up and lingers when she asks him if he wants coffee.
carmy shows up for her, everytime. he sets his own priorities aside, swaps them out for hers. sydney says jump and he asks how high?
it all comes to head on her birthday. before service he goes up to her and gives her a present — a scarf, fabric pink and decorated with prints of various different flowers. it’s soft and silky and he saw it on a mannequin in a window front while he was downtown a couple of weeks ago, immediately thought of her. she tells him it’s lovely and beautiful and she’ll wear it all the time but that he really didn’t have to — that he doesn’t have to keep trying to win her over, that she isn’t mad at him anymore, that she hasn’t been mad for a few weeks now, that she can see he’s trying.
then, sydney hugs him, strong and gentle at the same time, tells him — i see you, carmy.
whatever is supposed to happen after that does not happen because fak starts yelling about an exploding toilet from the room over so sydney scoffs and says she’ll go take care of it.
and it’s at that exact moment that carmy becomes aware of what he hasn’t been aware of but that has been there, right in front of him this whole time.
holy shit.
he likes sydney.
he likes her a lot.

Did you notice at the end of s3 ep9 carmy ia getting ready for Ever's funeral service and the last shot it's just a scrunchie and Mike's Jesús pastor image?? Idk what that means but that shot is stuck in my brain
The Scrunchie Does Not Fit In, but Carmy is Saving it for Later
Tumblr media
Carmy finds a funeral card from Mikey's funeral in his suit jacket and puts it on top of a book next to the scrunchie and some bobby pins.
Tumblr media
The book is I DON’T FIT IN – My Wild Ride Through The Punk and Power Pop Trenches with The NERVES and THE BEAT, which is a memoir about the lead singer from the band The Beat, but not the british one that wrote Save it For Later.
Tumblr media
There are actually two bands called The Beat, an English one and an American one. The two bands came up around the same time and were often confused with each other, so the English one went by The English Beat and the American one went by Paul Collins' Beat. They actually ended up touring together. So why have a book about the Paul Collins' Beat when the recurring song this season is written by The English Beat?
Tumblr media
Save it for Later has a few versions of it throughout the season. The first version we hear is from the American singer Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam when Sydney is on her way to The Bear after the incident and there is montage of classic Chicago spots. And if you listen closely to the full song, at the very end you can hear in the backing vocals "can't find a better man" from Better Man by Pearl Jam. We know Carmy is a big fan of Pearl Jam. Come Back by Pearl Jam was the song playing in the table scene with Sydney and we know the music in the show is supposed to represent their inner thoughts and feelings, so at this point Sydney is still thinking about Carmy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then an instrumental version of Save it for Later plays when Richie is talking to Jess on the phone about the Ever funeral. When Sydney is talking to Shapiro and he makes her the offer, the original Save it for Later by The English Beat plays.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are setting up the American vs British confusion. Sydney is going to be torn between Carmy and Luca (and Shapiro by de facto), the same way Carmy is torn between Sydney and Claire. The song is instrumental, neither british or american, with Richie because he is the puppet master in this whole british vs american ordeal that is going to happen between them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So much of this season and the previous have been about confusing people or projecting them on to the other, like with Claire and Sydney in Season 2, and then again in Season 3 with the polka dot dish freezer incident. This all ties back to the plotlines of Vertigo and A Midsummer Night's Dream that are referenced in Season 3 where the love interests are frequently confused with each other, sometimes on purpose and sometimes on accident.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bobby pins seems more like a Claire item that she probably left behind, but when Claire's hair is tied up it is always with a plain black hair tie. The hair clip at the beginning of Tomorrow is probably Claire's, but a girly floral pink scrunchie? That is so Sydney.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Bear had pink floral dinner plates back in Season 2 before Carmy switched to natural earthenware in Season 3, which also when he basically erased Sydney from The Bear. The scrunchie is a remnant of Season 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sydney has been seen in pink and florals, whereas Claire never has. Sydney also loves patterns. From her bandanas to her shirts and jackets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
She actually has a whole book about them sitting in her locker. She was probably the one who picked the tropical wallpaper in The Bear's bathroom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Claire is really never seen wearing patterns or prints aside from Friends & Family night (aka ClaireCarmy's relationship funeral) when she wears a black floral shrug, which is the last time Carmy saw Claire. The funeral card is notably Mikey's, not Marcus' mom, which has also always been tied back to Sydney and the Let it rip note. He texted Sydney before opening the note and then had Richie give it to her in a frame to put on her expo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's easy to see why he might confuse the scrunchie with Claire's things and put them together when the don't fit actually fit in, the same way The Beat's get confused. And probably the same way Sydney is going to feel confused about Luca vs Carmy in season 4. Is Carmy going to realize the scrunchie is Sydney's and not Claires? It's in his bedroom so I doubt it was Sydney herself that put it there. Seems like he is once again using Claire to project his feelings for Syd, by missing her instead of Sydney.

Right now I'm watching the show through the message of love is when we pay attention.
For me, the fridge symbolizes Carmy's mind. He realizes that he has failed Sydney by not being fully present in the moment and not focusing on helping her succeed, as he promised. He was supposed to be attentive, but he mentally slipped away when he chose to visit Claire's table. In doing so, he encountered Chef David, which forced him to revert back to the days when he was an isolated perfectionist, trapped in an abusive chef lifestyle and toxic environment.
So when he makes another outburst and slams his fists on the door, it's proof that he still isn't giving Sydney all of himself. He has still left her alone.
The angst continues. He's still slipping away. Sydney doesn't feel sick until she hears Carmy say he wasn't built for this. While that's referring to work, could it also imply the necessity of full presence and attention in healthy partnerships?
But hearing what Carmy is saying is when Sydney is freaking out hearing tickets printing dreading the next thing instead of celebrating a first service. She can't because she did it alone. Faks confirmed this by saying he's solo (next to the Star Wars reference). They're going it alone the very next season. But not in the physical way it's much worse emotionally and mentally for Sydney and Carmy. The message is that if Sydney and Carmy aren't fully committed to their relationship, aren't fully showing love, giving undivided attention, then they might as well as do it alone. .. we have glimpses of magic and chemistry that exist between these two when they're in sync, but we haven't seen it in full swing. It's possibly one of the big payoffs.
Another thing... is Claire misses the opportunity to see Sydney and Carmy together in sync, and it makes me wonder if they're saving that for next season?

Aspirations pt.1
Hopefully you can look past the rubbish title and summary enough to give this a go!
It started as me coming up with a 'one bed situation' but I've expanded it a little to probably 3-4 chapters in total.
I've only done a couple of very short pieces for this fandom so far so I'd love to know your thoughts! Be kind! 😘
Sydcarmy Masterlist
Full Masterlist
Sydney Adamu / Carmy Berzatto
Syd is 12 months deep in a crush, Carmy is 6 months into a relationship he doesn't want, The Bear is 4 months open and Nat is 2 months into motherhood....
~~~~~~~
Syd didn't know why she'd said yes. Nat had asked, and while her brain went to say 'no thanks', her heart saw the look of desperation on Natalie's face, and a 'yes, of course' popped out instead. Nat even had her minor guilt trip lined up.
"... I mean, I haven't had any real adult company since the baby was born, and I just -"
"Nat, I said yes."
"For real?"
"Sure, why not. Wait - is Claire invited?"
"Oh god, no. Just us and Tiff."
"Richie's ex?" Nat nodded.
"Yep. Just some drinks at home, so I'm around if I'm needed. Maybe a couple slices of Marcus's cake?"
"I'll bring you some food."
"You're an angel. Does Carm know you've been keeping my fridge stocked for the last 3 months?" Syd shrugged,
"If he does, he hasn't said anything." They sat in the closed restaurant, Nat feeding baby Mikey while Syd went through the books with her. Carmy was… late. "Where the fuck is he anyway?" Nat clipped her bra back into place and lifted the baby to her shoulder. Every Friday between lunch and dinner service, they did the books together.
"Good question." Syd murmured, eyes on her calculator. "We need to start putting some money aside for Thanksgiving and Christmas promos."
"On it. I need you guys to confirm the festive menu by the 15th, please. We go to print on the 19th, delivery by the end of the month ready to take bookings throughout October."
"Wow, you are still, like, smashing it." Syd says, impressed.
"I gotta do something during those 3 am feeds other than shopping." She reasoned, heaving the baby over to her other shoulder.
"Here," Syd stood and held out her hands so Nat could gratefully pass him over. She'd not been around too many babies and was terrified the first time she'd held him. Richie had ribbed her about it in the weeks prior - so much so that she hadn't actually held the baby in company other than Natalie. She rocked gently from side to side, hearing little Mikey's snores in her ear. Nat read through the books and the notes left by Syd and/or Carmy.
"Hey, did I tell you what Uncle Jimmy did?" Syd didn't stop her gentle movement but turned to face Natalie better,
"No?"
"So we each own 33%, right, and Jimmy had the 1% leftover? Well he's gifted it to Mikey. The baby bear is already earning."
"That's dope, I'm still gonna make him do the dishes as soon as he's old enough though. He's gotta earn that paycheck." Syd smiled down as Mikey's eyes drifted shut.
*
"Hey, fuck, sorry I'm late." He pushed through the swing doors, stopping at the sight of Syd swaying with the baby in her arms.
"Too late, Carm, we're fucking done now." Nat teased, "good job someone is pulling their weight around here. And giving my arms a break."
"He's asleep, where'd you want him?"
"You've got the magic touch." Nat took him carefully and transferred him to the car seat. Carmy squatted down for a closer look,
"I missed out."
"Shoulda been here in time," Nat warned, "I've got a night shift going if you're -"
"No. No thanks sis, I don't get enough sleep as it is."
"Makes two of us."
"Makes three of us." Syd laughed. Carmy kissed Mikey's forehead and stood to pull his sister into a hug while Syd knelt down to tuck the blanket around Mikey and brush a finger over his milk drunk cheeks.
"I'll let you know when's good?" Nat confirmed to Syd with a hug before letting Carmy lift the heavy car seat and take it out to her car. "Bye Uncle Bear, bye Auntie Syd!" She singsongs. By the time Carmy has returned, Syd is making sure the paperwork is filed correctly and clearing the table they've used.
"Coffee? Probably too cold now."
"Unlikely, no such thing." He takes the mug and finishes most of it in one go making her grimace.
"That's gross."
"You ate doughnut off the floor." He counters, she has no argument. "You and Nat planning something?"
"Just Thanksgiving and Christmas."
"We need a menu."
"We do. I have some potential dishes down but I gotta link them with the theme or some shit." He raises an eyebrow, "Nat's idea. I'm not naming dishes after reindeer or any bullshit like that."
"Got it. Wanna work on it Monday?"
"You got time?"
"Always." This time, Syd looked incredulous. "I mean it." She nodded slowly,
"Heard, Chef."
"What'd you make for them this week?" He asked, holding out his hands for the paperwork folder. Syd froze, "C’mon Syd, you think I don't know you've been batch cooking for Nat and Pete for months?" She breaks into a smile,
"Just easy stuff, chilli, casserole."
"Let me know when you're makin' more and I'll do some as well."
"Oh, I got it under control. You're busy with… like, Claire and this place. I only have this place so…" She trailed off with a limp shrug.
"Well, you don't have to do it either -" He tried to interject.
"Nat's been good to me. She's the only other voice of sanity around here." At that, Carmy feigned a look of hurt which made Syd snort with laughter. "Do not - do not - try and claim otherwise!"
"And here I thought we were partners."
"We are. Which is why I can't complain to you about you." She grinned and Carmy returned it with ease. Over a year of working together, 4 months since The Bear had opened, and she'd finally gotten to a point where she only felt awkward approximately 60% of the time, which was a solid win. With time, communication between them had significantly improved. The only downsides currently were his time management when it came to Claire and the raging crush Sydney had developed on Carmy over the course of the last year. The crush was the main/only reason her awkwardness level remained so high.
"You can, y'know. I want to know if there's something I need to do better. I told you, you gotta let me know if I'm fucking up." She caught her lower lip in her teeth. He was doing that thing again, standing frustratingly close and looking at her with those ocean eyes.
"You need to stop being late. That's the second time Nat and I have had to go through the books alone, and there's stuff in there that you're closer to than us. I'm the shit, Carm, but I can't read your mind. No matter how hard I try." She jokes. He nods sincerely.
"Heard. I'll do better, I promise." He paused, "when'd you start holding the baby anyway?"
"Literally the first time I didn't have you and Richie watching me like a hawk." She laughed, "If you'd been around, you'd know that I am his number one Auntie."
"That so?"
"I get all the smiles, all the giggles. Me and baby Mikey are like that -" she holds up her crossed fingers, "you can't compete with a love like ours." She teases.
"Nat likes you better too, s'ok maybe the Fak's will take me in. Or T."
"Dude, T would mother the shit outta you!" She exclaimed.
"Already does. You two gonna be OK tomorrow?"
"So you and Richie can play fucking hooky? Yeah, yeah, I remembered. We all good."
"Sure?"
"Yes, Chef."
"Syd?"
"Carm, babe, Tina and I will be fine. We have everyone else here, I got Nat on front of house, we're gonna smash it." He was about to call her out on calling him babe, but they'd finished clearing up just as everyone else started arriving for dinner service and chaos soon descended. The rest of the day passed without incident. The following morning, Syd and Tina had the crew prepping for a busy lunch service while Richie and Carmy flitted in and out of the kitchen, filling up the car for their catering event. Syd took her break outside while they finished off,
"I'm gonna get some smokes." Richie called out, already halfway down the alley. Carmy moved towards Syd,
"If you ask one more time if I'm sure, I'm gonna give you a black eye." She warned. He held his hands up,
"Just checking in."
"You've already done that. We'll be fine."
"I'll keep my phone on. You need anything, you'll call?"
"What're you gonna do from across town?"
"Yo, cousin!" Richie shouted from the sidewalk, "bring the car down."
"Call me."
"Just fucking go, we're good." She hopped down from the pallets with the intention of pushing him as he continued to hesitate.
"Carmen!" Richie bellowed again, turning to talk to Natalie who'd just arrived out front.
"Festive menus Monday?" He asked,
"Yes, Chef. Go!" He nodded once, took half a step closer and kissed her gently on the lips before turning and running to the car. He was pulling out onto the street before she'd had time to register the kiss at all.
*
Two miles down the road, Carmy stopped at a red light and his brain reactivated.
"Holy fucking shit." He muttered, staring straight ahead.
"What'dya forget?" Richie asked, looking up from his phone. Carmy thought fast,
"Uhh napkins." Richie tsked,
"I picked em up you fucking dipshit." He laughed, shoving Carmy's shoulder. "Good job one of us knows what the fuck is goin on cuz. You gotta stop thinkin bout Clairebear all the time, man." Carmy barked a short laugh,
"Yeah, Claire." He agreed, still thinking about Syd's easy smile and soft lips.
Thanks for getting back to me, thinking back after I sent you the ask you are right and it would have been another year I saw the shuttle. You never forget something like that but the year you can. It was getting on to dusk and I and another train driver had just taken a number of Locomotives to our Motive Power Centre for servicing at Dry Creek North South Australia,a long bright streak of light in the east appeared and was travelling south to north lasted about 45 seconds to a minute before it was gone and the local news I didn't see until much later mentioned it. It was a beautiful sight to see and can't recall if shuttle was on its orbit to re-enter atmosphere or that was just a normal orbit. With the Railways I also was lucky enough to pick up cheaply from a second hand book store in Broken Hill a box of NASA related articles along with a 1973 letter from NASA's Space Office in Canberra ACT, corroborating the items (not individually) for the Broken Hill Space Club and various badges were amongst it plus the signatures of the Apollo 11 crew which should be real signatures and not auto-pen as was used later. A Nestle's Conquest of Space book to be a member of The Nestle's Space Club was included and has no date of printing but written by a John Gunn A.R.Ae.S and only printed in Australia by W.C. Penfold &Co Pty Ltd , Sydney. With the acknowledgements thanking United States Information Service Sydney and Mrs Robert H Goddard,Mass,USA for the supply of photographs and information on late Dr Robert H Goddard plus thanking U.S.S.R Embassy in Australia. It has pictures that children collected from various Nestle products and stuck them in corresponding photo boxes, would like to know the year of printing but first entry written in log at rear is Sputnik I 1957 up to 9 March 1961 and then stops with 4th Spaceship launched and weighed 4 1/2 tons. That was written after Feb 4 1961 Sputnik IV launched 6 1/2 tons. Not all pictures collected but it is a good memory of beginning of Space Race. Sorry for using up so much space on your ask. Btw I was born 30 May 1959 the year the infamous Edsell car was released onto the market. Cheers from Australia.
How Do Prepaid Funeral Plans Work?
Prepaid funeral plans are a great way to ensure that your loved ones are not left with the financial burden of your funeral costs.
Tumblr media
This can be beneficial because it relieves your family of the financial burden of your funeral costs, and it can also ensure that your funeral is carried out according to your specific wishes. When you purchase a prepaid funeral plan, you will pay into an account that is used to cover the costs of your funeral when the time comes. You can typically make payments over time or in a lump sum, and you may also be able to name a beneficiary who will receive the remaining funds in the account if there are any left over after your funeral expenses are paid. It is important to do some research before purchasing a prepaid funeral plan, as not all plans are created equal. Some plans only cover certain types of funerals, while others may have restrictions on how the funds can be used. Be sure to read the fine print carefully so that you understand exactly what is covered by your plan.
There are many reputable funeral homes that offer prepaid funeral services in Sydney under a budget.  You will then need to provide them with some basic information about yourself, as well as your wishes for your funeral.
