I am… pretty fucked up today. I had offered to DM yesterday, not really understanding how tired I’d be today but desperately wanting to avoid playing competitive games with the worlds whiniest loser, and I didn’t consider the possibility of having a low energy day.

That’s kinda good news cause I’m having so many good days now that I forgot how bad things can get. So we ran errands and I started to feel pressure behind my eyes in a way that’s usually a bad sign. We got home and I tottered upstairs to design the one shot. My head started floating and I came up with a very loosely structured candy shop heist.

I came downstairs and just stood dismally in the kitchen, staring forlornly around at all the things that didn’t sound good to eat. Finally threw together a smoothie and now I’m just spacing out cause I don’t have a book and I can’t start anything new in this headspace. All I really want is to curl up in my comfy clothes and watch my betrothed play video games.

And Ofc, The most very unpopular one? I shipped Mouthpiece(Belle Dama) with Featherbedder(Tawney C. Esta).

This game is like a fucked up version of wobbledogs but I gotta say I like the "feed this creature shit and see what happens" gameplay. The "fuck around and find out" genre if you will.

OOC: i've never actually heard of that game but yes JKBSDBKFBJKSDF i'm also having fun seeing what happens, everyone's submissions surprises me as much as it surprises everyone else, and i have fun seeing how users keep skirting around some deaths somehow or finding stuff i didn't expect them to BSDBFBSD

the relentless hunger death and the one upcoming was considered rare cuz i didn't expect users to submit so many insane submissions, but yall found them incredibly fast omg

for inspo tho (and an info dump),

i was considering several types of video game formats before trying this one. after tobaiblog (which is still on backburner i just gotta do some assets i just dont wanna do rn smh) i realised something like that is fun but can be overwhelming with how many options you had and a character who is unwilling to give any hints. i wanted something more simple and intuitive, and i think giving very limited ways to interact w the game provides a more authentic video game vibe while also being more intuitive.

initially i was messing w a labyrinth game concept and ill likely try it later down the line, w an rpg aspect to it and an end goal. but i felt that it was still complicated to interact with. i started thinking about other video game formats, like a visual novel, or pet care games. those things are simple in options for interaction, but i wanted some kind of horror undertone or element that would give more interest than just interact w the characters.

i decided on the idea of the pet care game but focused entirely on the feeding, it was simplified, there wasn't a lot of things to keep track of, and it allows users to be creative with the limitations given to them.

i was partly inspired by Can Your Pet (if u dont know anything abt it and like this blog, please try it, it's like a 10 or so min game iirc. dont look at spoilers if u want to play it cuz it has a twist at the end. idk if its still free but when it was popular it was hosted online for free on many game sites) and Happy Tree Friends to an extent, but also some analog horror content. subverting expectation of something cute into something weird or creepy as things progressed was primarily what i wanted to pull from these

the diary option was mulled over a lot as i wanted a way for users to interact directly w the characters made and i had a number of ideas for this at first. then i remembered in town of salem, you have a death note (haha) you can write in that will be shown if you die, and i was like oh an in game note system would be perfect to manipulate and also fit into the whole pet care sim vibe.

the death list was conceptualised as i needed a goal for players, and the cosmetic unlocks were also a fun reward. tho i think people at this point aren't going for looking for specific deaths but rather seeing how the character reacts to things (which is fair cuz i also figured half the appeal would be the character reaction to things, which is why i draw unique reactions to food 99% of the time~)

It sucks, because I'm complaining to try to get my body motivated to actually start working on the Oc's, but My brain is trapped in a body that is refusing to follow my GPS 😅👍

My body and brain is like a self driving car that just can never follow the GPS without taking unnecessary "Detours" and then I end up miles away from my actual destination and just have to make do with where I'm at- 😅👍

When Amos began to argue with Molly Weasley she managed to calm him simply by putting her hand in his arm

After the task, upon hearing of her sons death, she visited Harry Potter in the hospital wing. She thanked Harry for bringing Cedric's body back, though when he offered her his Tournament winnings she declined

While her husband ended up in a Wizarding retirement home, her fate is unknown

Unfortunately I have had to make her a teen mom at the age of 18 cause I underestimated how young Amos is… So sorry Wren ily

Cedric was born during the October of Amos and Daante’s seventh year at Hogwarts. Because both of them wanted to continue their education while still being there for Cedric they made an arrangement with Dumbledore. Both of them were to stay in the Hogs Head with Wren’s parents during the school year. They’d both go to classes as normal but be allowed to leave the castle at any time. Neither of them slept in their dorms for that year

In school her closest friends were Greta Catchlove, Adrian Carpenter and Charity Burbage

She was very lively and had a lot of personality

Her and Amos were best friends to lovers that all of the year group low-key shipped

She was also very close to Peter Pettigrew and would sit next to him whenever Gryffindor and Hufflepuff had a lesson together

After the first war she was devastated to hear about Peters death and hated Sirius Black for it

She never found out that Peter was the one to kill her son

the best thing i ever did for my silly little neurodiverse brain was reduce food choices

currently i only eat oatmeal for breakfast. every morning all i have to do is put a packet with water in the microwave and boom i’m done. the only decisions i’m making are to add cinnamon or leave it as brown sugar maple syrup

i hope i can do something similar with lunch, this has fr made mornings sooo much lighter on my load of the day!!! choices like food are too challenging, never realized i could just. Fully eliminate that. lol.

time to start meal planning so i can get proper nutrition (if i don’t meal plan i will call literally anything a meal this is a problem)
