Congrats, you saw all my posts!!

i rly liked how this one turned out even though i got lazy in a lot of aspects,,

i made it in this month's (july 2023) drawpile from the english puyo community discord, however i later slapped some colour balance on top with krita.

Just to note, i'm mid winter in my timezone but i thought it better reflected the "I SURVIVED MY FIRST SEMESTER AT UNIVERSITY, I GET TO BE LAZY FOR A MONTH" vibe. Also most students have vacations mid-year (july aka the drawpile prompt), right?

abt the names, most of my close friends know me as nann but i dont know if i want the peers (and maybe teachers) at uni learn abt that identity. In fact, Amulet is a fairly new pseudonymn made just for that case 💀

Something new

My mum encouraged me to start a diary with colours that represent my emotions for the day. I'm making images using AI art to express myself, using the colours currently used in Ken Wilber's Integral Theory, which I love. It's such a cool idea!

Last night's dreams were really cool. I was doing a fun puzzle in maths class, and lots of swimming and climbing in sport class, and decided to become a picksie, and helped some people fix their white cotton candy balloon. It was fun. Then I had this lovely phone call with my mum. My friend Peace told me a bit about the Kurdish language, which he says is "embodied" - it relates things to other things using root words, and they're quite centered on concrete feelings and events, for example dast - hand and dasta - bunch or group, suggesting "handful".

So I sent him this: https://integrallife.com/from-four-quadrants-to-eight-zones/ which has more in it than it says on the tin. It requires both an Integral Life account and a Context account to view, but they're both great accounts to subscribe to in general if you're interested. The thing I was really struck by was their survey of communication as it developed throughout world cultures. It's fascinating because it's a comprehensive historical overview of the evolution of shared human meaning.

So today I'm posting three pictures to stsrt off with. One represents me and my mum, done in rainbow colours to represent and full spectrum love and understanding. My second one is a teal and yellow spiral, representing the level of development I feel most comfortable with and grounded in right now. The last is a big grey cotton csndy balloon which says Om on it, because that's a vision I saw in my dream. I think it represents the kindness and softness of a universe which loves you and wants to take care of you. It's sweet and fluffy and I wouldn't have it any other way!
