I've just read the Sonic Pre-Quill comic and I loved, LOVED how they went full throttle with Stone's sassyness in it!

He's so fully committed, so devoted to his Doctor, but he's such a bastard to anyone else-- Plus, he's kinda the avenger of minimum wage workers in this??

This was super funny to read (I kinda wish they made it into a live action miniseries tho, like they did with Knuckles).

Kipps is not avoiding his friends. It’s just impractical, given that he only has three days off, to try to organise a big meetup. And yes, maybe it would be a little awkward to contact any of them out of the blue, given that they haven’t seen him in a year and a half, not since he ruined everyone’s reunion by having a massive breakdown at the pub. Maybe he’s nervous about initiating contact with Harry, given that after Harry dealt with him in the bathroom, took him to his own house and let him sleep on his sofa bed, Kipps avoided any of Harry’s efforts to talk about it and left for London that same morning. Maybe he’s trying to spare them the difficulty of trying to initiate conversation with someone they share barely any common ground with. Maybe he’s too tired to bluff about his waning Talent.

Maybe he is avoiding his friends.

The way that the High Evolutionary couldn't create innate creativity and ingenuity.

The way the High Evolutionary was confused by Rocket's true creativity and ingenuity to the point of obsession.

The way the High Evolutionary tried to replicate and couldn't.

The way there's nothing like him cept him.

The way that this was Rocket's story all along, he just needed to discover it.

Sonic when he was a kid.

Didn't know which version I liked more so have both!

Inspired heavily by Nicky from the Shogakukan Sonic manga.

His shirt is also that way to continue the 'sun' marking on Sonic's belly that was mentioned in a Sonic 3 documentary. His shirt at the moment only shows the 'sun' partially. Since he's younger and he's not quite the Sonic we know yet.

Tonight is a night for the sentimentality of scars.

Here he lies in bed, fingers tracing over long healed lines, missing the gentle hands and the blade that left them, regretting that they are soon to be gone over, marred by one who he cannot trust to sew him up so carefully.

They will not hold the same meaning. Things that had meant dedication and love made into a show of desperation. They will not be special as they once were, unable to tear the vision of her from that of... him.

He can recall the sight of red on her hands, in her mouth... why do those lips turn more downward the more he imagines them? What had once been an alluring grin devolved to a disappointed grimace.

She flickers away, the other taking her place. His grin is of malice, of someone who knows his distrust and can taste his fear. The knife has a menace to it that it has never possessed before falling to his hands. As his fingers trail further down the scar, all he can do is imagine the horrible satisfaction of the other, his own vulnerability, lain out and cut open. Hands in parts of him that were once touched so delicately, with reverence, the new touch harsh and unforgiving.

When the man has had his fill, the stitches are crude, and he is turned out without any care for his state of being.

His face buries into the fabric of an old dress, fingers now feeling the designs, the textures, trying to remember through bleary eyes and foggy memory how it looked.

... perhaps it is time to visit her again.
