What if when Steve and Eddie were little they crossed paths during an audition for a commercial. Steve’s parents forcing him there because they think he wants to be a star even though that’s the last thing he wanted, he just wants to stay home and watch tv instead of being on it. On the other hand Eddie drags his parents to the audition with excitement running through him and he’s the type of kid to sing in the hallways and putting on a show for the staff. Long story short neither of them get the part and Steve is happy about it while Eddie is a little bummed. When Eddie is sitting in the waiting room for his parents Steve goes up to him and gives him a juice box that brought from home, Eddie smiles before taking the juice. Both of them didn’t realize that they were from Hawkins or that they would see each other in the future but throughout the years they always wondered who the other kid was that day.
