Potential Future Dates of Events in Buddy Daddies - SPOILERS!

This is all speculation and is based off of seasonal aspects, cultural events in Japan, and other such clues. First off, we know that BD is now at the end of May. So, let’s go from there:

Sports Day:

In the trailer that revealed the OP we see Miri taking part in Sports Day. The usual time for that is April - June (especially for where they are, though it can sometimes be at the end of summer as well in September). So, this could either be in next week’s episode during June or it could be later in the season during September (late July and August get disgustingly humid, so Miri’s Sports Day is unlikely to take place then). I had one school district that did theirs in October, so that is a possibility too. 

Rainy Season:

We see a couple of scenes in the newest trailer that came out, which indicates events taking place during Japan’s Rainy Season ( 梅雨 or tsuyu). The flowers we see associated with Kazuki’s wife, and which are pictured above, are hydrangeas and they are heavily associated with the rainy season in Japan.

Another scene from the newest trailer, of a very worried looking Rei carrying a sick (or hurt) looking Miri in a blanket to Kyutaro’s bar, while they are both soaking wet, also indicates the rainy season.

The rainy season lasts from early June to mid-July, so that’s likely when these events take place. They will likely be in the next episode or two coming up, since we are already at the end of May in-series.

Birthday Party? :

This image is from the trailer with the OP reveal in it. It looks like there are decorations in the background and Miri appears to be wearing a birthday hat. It also looks like she is wearing a sweater or hoodie (with the sleeves rolled up), so fall or winter. Kazuki’s birthday is May 16th, which already passed, Rei’s is unknown, and Miri’s is November 8th. Her birthday date could fit with her outfit and the fall/winter timeframe. But, it could also be a T-shirt with a hood and they are celebrating someone else’s birthday or the party could be for something else entirely.

Clark is taking Kon and Jon out for a classic, super-style bonding flight. Just a quick jaunt around the US and back!

They don’t get far. Somewhere in Illinois airpace, they run across another family.

The three (a hulking man, a snarky teenage boy, and a cackling youngest girl, each a grayscale blur in the blue, blue sky) throw neon-lit beams of energy at one another, quips and insults flying almost as fast as they do. It looks like training. It looks like fun!

The boy of them looks like a younger version of the man. Exactly like, even. Clark is familiar with clones.

The youngest, a girl, looks like both of them, but not quite. Perhaps she will, age sharpening her childish features, but it’s hard to say. More likely, she’s the man’s daughter.

Interested, Clark introduces himself to Dan. He seems to be a hero in his own right, even if Superman’s yet to see him in action. And it’s not often Clark sees a family so like his own!

What if instead of absorbing Plasmius making Dan evil and destructive, it makes Dan obsessed with adopting Danny.

Dan traveling back in time to before Danny's birth and setting himself up as part of Jack's family. Proving that the Fentons are unfit parents. Adopting/fostering Jazz and Danny.

Or maybe he just straight up kidnaps them.

Either way:

Dan raising Danny and Jazz in Gotham, Metropolis, Central City, or Fawcett. Each city has their own potential plot points.

But, I want Dan to own/operate a bakery.

The one scene I have is: Hero-as-civilian walks into a cute bakery. Immediately sees a guy that's fucking scary and clearly not entirely human. Hero is very concerned that this guy is up to no good, so he pretends to be oblivious. He starts talking to Dan, but Dan's about as chatty as a brick wall. Suddenly, he hears a little pat-a-pat-a-pat and then there's two little hands poking up over the counter making an uppies gesture. This terrifying man reaches down and picks up an adorable toddler, sets him on his hip, and gives him a cookie.

I don't think that the majority of people being mad on the internet actually hate s4. I think that they're grieving something that they held very close to their hearts and are in the anger stage of the process. It'll be interesting to see in the next few months what the attitude around the season comes to be.

Alien biology is weird. Liminal biology? Even weirder. 

Ecto? Very much a wellspring for creation despite its association with death. Or rather undeath, but that’s a debate that many a realms denizen has tried to find the answer of. Usually there weren’t many liminals- ecto contaminated, yes, but enough to form Cores? No, only a few throughout history. Until the age of Heroes and Villains came about. But that’s a story for another time. 

See ectoplasm builds up over time in the human body, and even more so for those that have formed cores who create their own. And it’s not like it’s well studied, what with most not even being aware of the changes or the fact they aren’t fully human anymore. 

Why is this important? Well, what happens if two liminals (accidentally or not) mix their ecto together? Well, that depends on intentions, even if it’s just an impulsive thought at the time. Which in turns means that accidents? Yeah, accidents might’ve happened. Oops….

If it’s still happening, I honestly can’t wait for the moment Kou gets to exorcise Hanako.

If I had to see the scenario out, I think Kou would only do it if absolutely necessary as in it's the only way to save everyone, Hanako has fully accepted his fate (no "I still have things to do here!!" stuff), or Teru is at his breaking point with the supernatural and will ensure his passing as excruciating as possible so he can repent for half the damage he's done. Kou hesitates to do it at first but ultimately when he agrees, I hope it's less "I have to fulfill my duty as an exorcist and uphold Teru's expectations" and more "You're my friend and I wouldn't want you to go out any other way" kind of thing yk? The thought of allowing Hanako to pass with his dignity intact by his favorite exorcist's hand, his other best friend's hand, is something so bittersweet yet absolutely cathartic to me. The tenderness in Kou's gaze as silent tears roll off his cheeks whilst he grips his staff with white knuckles to stop them from shaking so much…The solemn way Hanako pulls off the talisman and says something along the lines of "I told you you'll make a good exorcist, didn't I?" with a genuine smile...Oh my god it’s everything

Episode 1 takes place on June 3rd (according to Lucius' journal that was the day they raided the plant). Episode 4 takes place on September 1st. That's three months.

Ed was following the Revenge since some point before the start of episode 2. Ivan said he saw the hostages before they ran aground. In the scenes that end ep 2/begin ep 3, they were following close enough to see the Revenge (Izzy told Ed a few hundred yards).

So that means for potentially a couple months, Blackbeard's ship is just following the Revenge around. Did nobody on the Revenge notice? Did Buttons notice and just decide not to say anything? Blackbeard wasn't bothering them so he figured it was best to just let it be?

Is this why Stede survived as long as he did while being very much incompetent? Other pirates may have heard about the rich guy who ran away to be a pirate. But anyone who actually tracked him down saw Blackbeard's ship following and decided they weren't fucking with that.

Something is… very different in this simulation. Chance, or coincidence?

There are seven Lord Ravagers. Emanators of Destruction who carry out their Aeon’s bidding, and leave nothing but deathly silence echoing in the stars along their wake. But now, there is an eighth that is present among their ranks when Elio looks into the future again.

How curious.

It comes as an unexpected surprise, certainly, that there is yet another who draws the gaze of the Ruin Author. But it’s not an impossibility. After all, the universe is vast, and there are countless factors working in tandem that all affect the future.

The eighth Lord Ravager bears a vaguely humanoid appearance, but there is no mistaking them for something human. Their entire body is white, and filled with cracks. Like marble stone, filled with veins of gold. Blades shatter uselessly upon their skin as it strides among the stars, untouchable. Some form of invulnerability? What of their abilities? If there was to be an eighth that Elio also needed to account for, then–

The Lord Ravager opens their eyes.

And the world falls silent.

Elio focuses upon the Lord Ravager and concentrates. There is little doubt that this is most dangerous of all the Lord Ravagers. Who were they? Where did they come from? How did the Aeon of Destruction find them?

It’s not easy, but looking into the past is far a simpler task to accomplish than simulating the future. The past only records what has already occurred, and there’s no changing events that have already been set in stone.

Elio sees–

A beautiful world, lush with life.

Smoke curls into the air. Screams. Monsters walk the lands–

Curses–

Stellaron.

Elio looks silently into the rapidly-changing scenery, and understands. The eighth Lord Ravager comes from a small, isolated world, one that hadn’t properly developed any methods of interstellar travel, nor established connections with other civilizations. And before they had any chance to do so… they were found by a Stellaron.

It’s easy enough to guess the rest of the story from there.

The eighth Lord Ravager. The sole survivor of a dead world. Sometime after the total destruction of her world, she must’ve caught the Aeon of Destruction’s attention. But for such an isolated world, how–?

A girl stands upon the barren earth motionlessly, broken sword in hand. The eighth Lord Ravager, before she was cast into the Warforge by the Aeon of Destruction and remade anew.

… A lone girl, guarding the broken husk of a dead world even long after there remains nothing for her to protect.

The Antimatter Legion. That explains it, then. The Antimatter Legion somehow found this world after its end, and following that…

Long white hair streams out behind the girl like a banner as she tosses her broken weapon aside. The defeated enemies before the not-yet Lord Ravager disintegrate.

Then, she suddenly tilts her head upwards. Eldritch blue eyes lock directly onto Elio’s own.

“Who watches?”

Elio’s eyes snap open.

Bright lights. The aroma of coffee. It’s mostly quiet on the Stellaron Hunters’ ship right now, and the parlor area is empty –save for a young woman with red-violet hair who looks up from her coffee with a smile. Kafka.

“Something the matter?” she asks.

“… We need to change course,” Elio says.
