ଠThe apple pie life
Pairing: Dean Winchester x fem!reader Summary: you and Dean are tasked with going undercover as a married couple in a suburban neighborhood to investigate a string of mysterious disappearances linked to a local HOA. Content: fluff, one kiss, angst (kinda), idiots oblivious to their own feelings, hunting/working a case, mentions of murders, demons, spells, not proofread, English isnât my first language :) Word count: 4k a/n: I've been keeping this in my drafts for a while now and while life happens and I work on my dofp!logan one shot, I decided to post this :) I hope you enjoy it
mdni đ¤ 18+
âYeah, no. This ainât happening.â Dean Winchester stood at the edge of a freshly mowed lawn, surveying the neighborhood like it was a Hellmouth in disguise. Which, for all they knew, it very well could be. Rows of cookie-cutter houses lined the street, each painted in calming shades of beige, sage, or blue. Even the mailboxes were identical. Dean glared at one as if it had personally offended him.
Sam sighed, arms crossed, watching his brotherâs tantrum. âDean, itâs a neighborhood. Not a death sentence.â
âYouâre asking me to pretend to be Mr. Suburbia. Me. You know I donât do...â Dean gestured vaguely at a garden gnome. âThis.â
Standing between the two of them, you held a faux wedding photo that Sam had printed for the cover story. âWeâre married. Youâre a mechanic. I work from home. We moved here for the good schools. Sound familiar?â you said with a smirk, holding the picture up.
Dean snatched the frame and scowled at the image. âI look like a hostage,â he muttered.
âYou always look like that,â you shot back. âNow come on, letâs get unpacked. Our âfriendly neighborhood welcome committeeâ is stopping by in an hour.â
Dean groaned, but there was no backing out. Sam had been adamant: five people had disappeared from this very block in the past six months. The only connection? All were new to the neighborhood, and all had been avid participants in the HOAâs activities.
âFine,â Dean grumbled, hoisting a box from the Impala. âBut Iâm not calling you âhoney.â
Deanâs idea of "unpacking" consisted of dumping boxes onto the floor and shoving furniture into place like he was playing Tetris with his life. You trailed behind him, trying to make the house look halfway livable. It wasn't easy; the entire setup resembled a sitcom scenario, complete with ruffled curtains and throw pillows that Sam insisted would help you blend in.
Dean picked up one of the pillows, squinting at the stitched slogan: Home Sweet Home. âThis thing screams demon bait,â he muttered, tossing it onto the couch.
âMaybe if you acted like a halfway decent husband, it wouldnât,â you quipped, earning a low chuckle from Sam.
âYeah, hilarious,â Dean shot back, hauling a box of what appeared to be mismatched kitchen supplies onto the counter. âThis is my nightmare, by the way. Thought you should know.â
âItâs not exactly a dream for me either, sweetie,â you replied, stressing the endearment with a sugary grin. Deanâs eye roll couldâve powered the whole neighborhood.
The doorbell chimed just as you finished arranging a vase of fake flowers in the living room. Dean peered through the peephole like he expected to see a mob of demons. Instead, a group of impeccably dressed neighbors smiled back at him.
âKill me now,â Dean muttered, opening the door.
A blonde woman with a Stepford-wife grin and a clipboard stepped forward. âHi there! Welcome to the neighborhood! Iâm Lana, the HOA president. And these are Sheila and Rick, your next-door neighbors!â
Dean gave his best approximation of a smile, though it looked more like a grimace. âUh, hey. Iâm Dean. This is myâuhâwife.â
You plastered on your most winning smile and shook hands all around. âSo nice to meet you all!â
Lanaâs eyes swept over the living room, clearly appraising your decor. âYouâve done such a lovely job already! Oh, and Dean, weâll have our weekly HOA meeting at the clubhouse tomorrow night. We expect all new residents to attend. Youâll come, wonât you?â
Dean opened his mouth, likely to come up with an excuse, but you elbowed him. âWeâd love to,â you said quickly.
âWonderful!â Lana chirped. âIâll leave you with the neighborhood handbook. Everything you need to know is right here.â She handed over a spiral-bound monstrosity of rules and regulations before bustling off with her entourage.
Dean stared at the handbook like it might explode. âFifty bucks says theyâre part of a cult.â
That night, Sam joined you both in the kitchen, where you poured over the HOA handbook. Sam had come by under the guise of helping you move in but was really playing the role of a nosy family friend who conveniently lived a few towns over.
âOkay,â Sam said, flipping through pages. âThis is weird. Every house here has to have a specific type of lawn ornament? And look at thisârules about curfew, holiday decorations, even what kind of car you can park in your driveway.â
âClassic control freaks,â Dean muttered, popping open a beer.
âOr something worse,â Sam countered, pointing to a line about mandatory attendance at neighborhood socials. âPeople start disappearing, and the HOA gets more power over the remaining residents. It seems like they're under some spell⌠perhaps they made a pact? Maybe with a demon.â
Dean groaned. âGreat. So itâs not just bad casseroles we have to survive.â
âWe need to hit that meeting tomorrow,â you said. âWhateverâs going on, thatâs where weâll find the first clue.â
The next evening, you and Dean made your way to the HOA meeting at the neighborhood clubhouse, blending in among the perfectly groomed crowd. Everyone was dressed like they were auditioning for a suburban magazine spread: crisp polos, floral blouses, and smiles that didnât quite reach their eyes.
Dean leaned closer to you, muttering, âTell me this doesnât feel like a Stepford reboot.â
You elbowed him lightly, smiling for the neighbors. âTry to look like youâre not plotting their demise, honey.â
âYeah, yeah,â he grumbled, adjusting his flannel like it was armor. âLetâs just hope these people donât sacrifice newcomers to their God of Lawn Care.â
Inside the clubhouse, Lana, the HOA president, stood at the front of the room, clipboard in hand. She welcomed everyone with her signature cheerfulness, but you couldnât miss the way her eyes scanned the crowd, lingering on the newcomersâyou and Dean.
âNow, letâs get started!â she chirped. âFirst order of business: Mr. Petersonâs garden gnomes. Weâve had complaints theyâre too whimsical.â
Dean raised an eyebrow at you, mouthing, too whimsical? You struggled not to laugh.
The meeting droned on, a mix of petty complaints and rigid enforcement of bizarre rules, until Lanaâs tone shifted.
âAnd finally,â she said, her voice dropping an octave, âa reminder that all residents are expected to attend next weekâs neighborhood barbecue. Remember, harmony is our greatest strength. Weâre all part of something... bigger here.â
Her words sent a ripple of unease through the room. Most of the neighbors nodded dutifully, but a few glanced nervously at each other. You caught Deanâs gaze, and his expression was sharp, all traces of humor gone.
Later that night, back at the house, you pored over what youâd observed with Sam and Dean.
âItâs not just the rules,â you said, pacing the living room. âItâs the way they act. Like theyâre afraid of stepping out of line.â
âAnd whatâs with Lanaâs âbigger pictureâ speech?â Dean added, tossing the HOA handbook onto the coffee table. âSheâs definitely hiding something.â
Sam tapped at his laptop. âI did some digging. Lana moved into this neighborhood ten years ago, right before the HOAâs rules got so strict. Before that? No disappearances, no creepy cult vibes.â
Dean frowned. âSo sheâs the ringleader?â
âMore like the summoner,â Sam replied, turning the screen to show an old news clipping. It detailed Lanaâs involvement in occult studies years ago. âIf sheâs behind this, itâs not merely a pact. Itâs using the HOA to enforce perfection, as it literally sustains the spell that keeps it anchored here.â
âSo, the HOA handbookâs not just a pain in the ass,â you said, glancing at Dean. âItâs the demonâs playbook.â
The next morning, Dean decided to âblend inâ by taking his role as a suburban husband to absurd levels.
You came downstairs to find him in an apron, flipping pancakes with an exaggerated flourish. âMorning, sweetheart!â he called, his grin annoyingly smug.
âWhat are you doing?â you asked, still half-asleep.
âBeing the perfect husband,â he said, loading a plate with a stack of slightly burnt pancakes. âYou should try it sometime, darling.â
The sarcasm in his tone made you roll your eyes, but you couldnât suppress a small laugh. âIf this is your idea of perfection, the demonâs going to smite us before lunch.â
Deanâs antics didnât stop at pancakes. Later that day, he decided to tackle the front yardâshirtless, of course, because âthatâs what husbands do, right?â
You stood on the porch, arms crossed, watching as he wrestled with the garden hose like it owed him money. His flannel was tossed onto a nearby fence, leaving his t-shirt in a crumpled heap in the corner. The summer sun glinted off his shoulders, and despite the ridiculousness of it all, you couldnât help but stare.
âYou know,â you called out, fighting a smirk, âthe neighbors are going to think youâre some kind of exhibitionist.â
Dean glanced up, his grin wolfish. âOr theyâll think youâre married to the best damn landscaper on the block.â
âYou missed a spot.â You pointed at a section of the lawn.
He mock-groaned, holding a hand to his chest like youâd mortally wounded him. âMan slaves away, and this is the thanks he gets? No wonder Iâm burned out on marriage.â
âBurned out implies you ever tried,â you shot back, leaning against the doorframe.
Deanâs expression shifted, just for a momentâa flash of something vulnerable, quickly buried under his usual bravado. âYeah, well... guess I never found the right reason to try.â
The air between you grew heavier, the teasing edge dulled by an undercurrent you didnât quite know how to address. He broke eye contact first, turning back to the yard. âDonât just stand there, princess. Grab a rake or something.â
The barbecue was the kind of event youâd have laughed at if you werenât actively part of it. Neatly arranged folding tables with checkered cloths stretched across the neighborhood park, and neighbors mingled with drinks in hand, every one of them smiling just a little too wide.
Dean leaned against the grill, flipping burgers with the same intensity he used while sharpening knives. âThis is a trap. You know that, right?â he muttered, glancing around.
âObviously,â you replied, sipping a too-sweet lemonade. âBut weâre undercover, remember? Try to act like youâre enjoying yourself.â
Deanâs grin was laced with sarcasm. âOh yeah, Iâm having a blast. Love talking about lawn fertilizer and HOA-approved fence heights.â
Just then, Lana appeared beside the two of you, her ever-present clipboard tucked under her arm. âDean, those burgers smell amazing! And youââ She turned to you with that polished grin. âYouâre just glowing, arenât you? Married life suits you two so well.â
Dean, never one to miss an opportunity, slung an arm around your shoulders. âWell, Lana, weâre just one big, happy couple.â He punctuated the sentence with a quick kiss to your temple, the smug look on his face daring you to react.
You forced a tight smile. âCouldnât be happier.â
Lana beamed, but her smile didnât quite reach her eyes. âWonderful to hear. Itâs so important to maintain harmony in the neighborhood.â She leaned in slightly, her voice dropping. âAfter all, everything falls apart if even one house doesnât meet expectations.â
Deanâs arm stiffened against your shoulder, his instincts flaring. âIs that right?â
Lana nodded, her expression unreadable. âAbsolutely. Well, I wonât keep you. Enjoy the barbecue!â
Once Lana was out of earshot, you and Dean regrouped with Sam near the dessert table.
âSheâs hiding something,â you said, cutting straight to the point.
âDefinitely,â Dean agreed, setting his plate down. âAnd whatâs with the whole âharmonyâ thing? She sounded like a cult leader.â
Sam nodded, keeping his voice low. âShe is. It is indeed a deal, an exchange. The more the neighborhood conforms to the rules, the stronger it gets. People who canât meet the standards? Theyâre the ones who disappear.â
You frowned. âSo the HOA rules arenât just annoyingâtheyâre literally fuel for this thing.â
Deanâs jaw tightened. âWell, good news. Weâve got the perfect distraction right here.â He gestured at himself and you with a smirk.
âPerfect distraction?â you repeated.
âThink about it,â he said. âWeâre new, weâre not exactly HOA material, and if anyoneâs gonna tick off a demon about their precious rules, itâs us.â
Sam sighed. âJust be careful. If the demon gets wind of what youâre doing, it wonât wait for you to break a ruleâitâll come for you directly.â
The first crack in the HOAâs perfectly polished façade came two days after Dean decided to rebel in his own loud, stubborn way. The offending incident? A single garden gnomeâbrightly painted and flipping the birdâset proudly on your front lawn.
You crossed your arms, staring at the gnome as Dean lounged against the doorframe. âReally?â
Dean grinned, proud as a kid showing off a bad report card. âWhat? Itâs art.â
âItâs bait,â you corrected, shaking your head.
âExactly.â He smirked, arms crossed. âLana wonât know what hit her.â
Sure enough, Lana arrived within the hour, clipboard in hand and fury barely masked beneath her painted smile. âDean, we need to discuss your lawn decorations,â she said through gritted teeth.
Dean stepped outside, wearing the smuggest expression youâd ever seen. âWhatâs the problem, Lana? Donât you like art?â
She blinked, momentarily stunned by his audacity, before recovering. âThis neighborhood thrives on harmony. Yourâchoice of ornamentâdisrupts that balance.â
Dean leaned casually against the porch railing. âHuh. Didnât see anything in the handbook about freedom of expression being against the rules.â
You watched from the window, biting back a laugh as Lana sputtered, her usual control slipping. She left with a curt, âThis isnât over.â
After Lana stormed off, you expected Dean to be all bravado and quips, but instead, he started fixing the fence. It was such a rare sight that you almost did a double take.
âWhat are you doing?â you asked, leaning against the porch post.
âMaking sure the place doesnât fall apart,â Dean replied, hammering a nail into place. âIf weâre staying here long enough to take down a demon, might as well make it look good.â
You raised an eyebrow. âDidnât know you were so handy, Mr. Winchester.â
He smirked, not looking up. âOh, sweetheart, Iâm full of surprises.â
That night, you found Dean in the kitchen, you noticed Dean seemed... different. Focused. Almost like he belonged here. He stirred a pot of chili with a level of precision that rivaled his aim with a gun.
âYouâre surprisingly good at this,â you remarked, leaning against the counter.
Dean shrugged. âI used to cook for Sammy when we were kids. Guess some habits stick.â
The soft admission caught you off guard. For all his bravado, moments like these reminded you of the man underneathâthe one who took care of everyone else, even when he didnât have to.
âThis is weird,â you muttered, setting the table.
Dean looked over at you. âWhat is?â
âYou. Doing all this domestic stuff. Itâs like youâre... enjoying it.â
Dean shrugged, placing the bowls of chili on the table. âI donât hate it. Beats getting shot at every day.â
âGuess youâre not half-bad at this husband thing after all,â you teased.
Dean smirked, his usual cockiness back in place. âDonât let it go to your head, sweetheart.â
Later, the two of you sat on the couch, flipping through channels. Sam had gone back to his motel, leaving you and Dean with a rare bit of downtime.
The sound of the TV faded into the background as Dean spoke up. âYou ever think about it? A normal life, I mean.â
You looked over at him, surprised. âSometimes. Why?â
He leaned back, one hand draped along the back of the couch, his expression unusually serious. âI donât know. Itâs just... this case, all this fake domestic stuff... Itâs kinda nice. Not worrying about whatâs lurking around the corner every second.â
âYouâve never thought about it before?â you asked gently.
Dean gave a short laugh, his gaze distant. âNah. Figured it wasnât in the cards. Even when I was a kid, normal wasnât exactly in the Winchester playbook.â
His words hung in the air, heavier than youâd expected.
âMaybe itâs not about the cards youâre dealt,â you said softly. âMaybe itâs about finding your own kind of normal.â
He turned to look at you, his green eyes searching yours. For a moment, the air between you felt charged, but he broke the gaze first, his usual smirk returning. âWell, my kind of normal definitely involves better TV shows than this crap.â
You laughed, nudging his shoulder. âFair enough.â
The tender moment passed quickly as the two of you turned back to the case.
The next morning, Sam returned with a crucial discovery. âLana made a deal with a demon ten years ago. She wanted the perfect neighborhood, and the demon delivered. But the cost? Anyone who doesnât fit her version of perfection gets sacrificed to keep the deal going.â
Dean clenched his jaw. âSo sheâs trading lives for lawn perfection? Well, thatâs messed up.â
Sam nodded. âIt thrives off the conformity she enforces. The more people play by the rules, the stronger the demon gets. The ones who disappear? Theyâre used as sacrifices to maintain the spell.â
Dean stood abruptly. âGreat. So we take down the demon, and her whole Stepford act goes up in flames.â He looked at you. âBut first, we gotta piss her off enough to make a move.â
After talkng with Sam, you and Dean turned the dial on your undercover roles.
You started your day loudly arguing in the driveway about âtrivialâ thingsâhow Dean never folded the laundry right, how you âalwaysâ bought the wrong coffee creamer.
Dean played it up like a pro, throwing his hands in the air dramatically. âFine! Next time, you go grocery shopping!â
âOh, because youâre so busy, huh?â you shot back, struggling not to laugh.
So you two just keeped violating the rules. Determined to push Lana past her breaking point, Dean added strung mismatched Christmas lights across the front porch, even though it was July.
âDean,â you said, standing in the driveway with crossed arms, âIâm pretty sure even the demon is rolling its eyes at this point.â
Dean grinned as he plugged in the lights, which flickered in a garish rainbow. âOh, come on, admit it. This is the most fun weâve had on a case in months.â
You couldnât argue with that. âYouâre impossible.â
âAnd youâre married to me,â he shot back, winking. âYou know,â Dean said, leaning in close as you adjusted the strand of blinking lights, âwe make a pretty good team when weâre breaking all the rules.â
You smirked. âBetter than your pancake-making team, thatâs for sure.â
He laughed, the sound rich and unguarded. âTouchĂŠ.â
Lanasâs car pulled up just as Dean propped his flamingo lawn ornament next to the mailbox. Her expression was a masterclass in repressed rage as she stepped out, clipboard in hand.
âDean!â she barked, her voice sharp enough to make the neighbors glance over from their gardening.
He sauntered up to her, feigning innocence. âMorning, Lana. Lovely day, isnât it?â
Her smile was brittle, her grip on the clipboard tightening. âWe need to talk.â
Deanâs escalating antics had done the trick. By the time night fell, Lanaâs perfectly polished demeanor had cracked. She called an emergency HOA meeting, under the pretense of âaddressing a disturbance in harmony.â
âYou ready for this?â Dean asked as the three of you crouched outside the clubhouse, peeking through a window.
âIâve been ready since the gnome,â you replied, flashing him a quick grin.
Sam whispered, âLooks like sheâs prepping for a ritual. We need to stop her before she completes it.â
Dean nodded. âSam, you cut off the ritual. Weâll handle Lana.â
âWe?â you asked, raising an eyebrow.
Dean smirked. âWhat, you donât trust me?â
âNot as far as I can throw you,â you shot back, but the teasing tone didnât quite mask the warmth in your words.
The two of you burst through the clubhouse door just as Lana lit the final candle on an ornate altar covered in sigils. The neighbors, all eerily quiet, stood in a semicircle around her, their expressions blank and glassy-eyed.
âLana!â Dean called out, his voice cutting through the room. âYou forgot to put this on the HOA agenda.â
She turned, her face twisting into something feral. âYou donât understand,â she hissed. âThis neighborhood is perfect because of me. Because of what Iâve done!â
Dean raised an eyebrow. âYeah, well, your definition of perfect kinda sucks.â
Lana snarled, grabbing a knife from the altar and lunging at him. You moved instinctively, stepping in to block her path. Together, you and Dean fought her off, moving in perfect sync.
She was fast, unnaturally so, but you matched her step for step, Dean covering your back with practiced ease. At one point, she swung the knife in a wide arc, and Dean caught her wrist, twisting it just enough for you to knock the blade free.
âYou good?â he asked, glancing at you.
You nodded, catching your breath. âIâm fine. You?â
âPeachy,â he replied, his grin full of adrenaline-fueled bravado.
Behind you, Sam chanted Latin, his voice steady as he worked to dismantle the ritual. The sigils on the altar began to glow, flickering as the power binding the neighborhood started to unravel.
Realizing she was losing, Lana screamed, âYouâll ruin everything! Without this deal, this place will fall apart!â
Dean shrugged, stepping closer. âGood. Then maybe itâll feel a little more human.â With a final swing, he knocked her unconscious, the force of it sending her crumpling to the floor.
Sam finished the ritual just as the sigils burned out entirely, plunging the room into silence. The neighbors blinked, their blank expressions fading as they seemed to wake from a dream.
âItâs over,â Dean said, his voice low.
Outside the clubhouse, you leaned against the Impala, catching your breath. The air felt lighter now, the oppressive weight of the neighborhoodâs perfection finally lifted.
Dean stood a few feet away, looking at you with an unreadable expression. For once, he seemed at a loss for words.
âYou okay?â you asked softly, stepping closer.
âYeah,â he said, his voice quieter than usual. âJust... thinking.â
âDangerous habit,â you teased, but the smile you gave him was gentle.
Deanâs eyes met yours, and for a moment, everything else faded away. Before you could think, he closed the distance between you, his lips crashing into yours.
The kiss was intense, filled with all the emotions heâd been holding backârelief, affection, gratitude and something deeper, something unspoken. When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, his voice barely above a whisper.
âTook me long enough, huh?â
You laughed softly, your hand resting against his chest. âYeah. But worth the wait.â
á ᨳŕŹđâ.
The next morning, as the three of you packed up to leave, Dean was back to his usual selfâmostly.
Dean hesitated, glancing at the house. âGotta admit,â he said, his voice softer than usual, âthis whole domestic thing... wasnât the worst.â
You raised an eyebrow. âReally? I thought you hated it.â Dean smirked, but it didnât quite reach his eyes. âYeah, well, turns out I donât suck at it. Could even get used to it, maybe.â
âYou know,â he said, leaning against the Impala as you loaded the last bag into the trunk, âthis whole married thing has its perks.â
âOh yeah?â you asked, raising an eyebrow.
He smirked. âYeah. Hot meals, shared insurance benefits, someone to remind me when I forget my wallet.â
You rolled your eyes, shoving him lightly. âGod, youâre insufferable.â
He shook his head, but there was a warmth in his gaze as he looked at you. âMaybe in another life.â
You didnât answer, but the smile tugging at your lips gave you away. Dean opened the driverâs side door, his usual cocky grin back in place. âCome on, sweetheart. Letâs hit the road.â You climbed in, Dean kissing you on the head before closing the door.
As the Impala roared to life and the too-perfect neighborhood disappeared in the rearview mirror, you couldnât help but think about Deanâs earlier words. Maybe this undercover mission had been more than just a case.
Maybe, in some small way, it had given both of you a glimpse of what could be.

Introducing the Kalashnikov - The Scrapyard Underdog
The first Kalashnikov dates back to Locksteelâs original uprising, the frameâs initial design - which was penned by Adrian Lock - was based on a subterranean mining frame, capable of enduring the worst the deep crust of the planet could throw at a piece of machinery. It was easy enough to mount weapons to the frame and make some minor improvements to itâs plating to help deal with large scale weapons but as Locksteel continued to expand so too did the Kalashnikov, eventually it became host to an advanced frame that was magnitudes more durable than others in the locksteel catalog.Â
Along with its core, the Kalashnikov is equipped with a range of redundancies coupled together with emergency backup systems that activate in cascade to mounting pressure, creating a frame that almost grows stronger or at least faster during longer engagements.
-
The Kalashnikov is like many Locksteel mechs, built for risk and reward, however this frame takes it to the extreme; Thanks to its Underdog, True Grit and Lightweight traits, the more damaged, hindered or even outclassed in size the Kalashnikov is, the harder it fights and the harder to bring down it becomes. With the activation of itâs core power nothing less than complete annihilation can hope to bring this pit-brawler of a mech down. The systems and weapons the Kalashnikov buck the trend of Locksteel systems being useful for most if not all types of pilots; Each system granted by the license is ground up made to support melee-range, bloody-knuckled brawling. With weapons that hit hard and some that are just as indestructible as the frame itself.Â

âď¸MIDNIGHT'S DCA DECEMBERâď¸
Hello! I've decided to have a little bit of fun this December and will be opening up requests for the month! Please see below for more details (With subheadings!):
Requests Overall
I will have 31 slots available for requests, first come, first serve. Each piece will range from 1000-2000 words in length and may (MAY) include a little doodle made by me.
Requests can be anything! They just have to be winter/holdiay themed (do NOT have to be releated to Christmas) and DCA-related
Winter/holiday themed means movies/stories too! Ex: i am a BIG fan of The Nutcracker (went insane when I saw @/robinette-green's au for the Barbie version lmao)
As most know I am an X reader writer, but as long as my general request rules are followed, I don't mind writing for ocs, canon, etc.Â
For those who don't know my rules, no nsfw (suggestive is FINE), and if you want something specific, be specific. Besides that, it's fair game, request what you want
Potential Issues & Schedule
If there is overlap between request ideas, they will be combined in some manner of speaking (if possible). If needed, I will reach out to you about adjusting ideas or the likes, though I don't forsee this happening. This would occur if for example, someone wants gift shopping with Sun with their oc, and someone else wants the same thing with a reader-insert. Whoever requested second would be who I reach out to.Â
I will be posting these throughout December, ending on the 31st
In order to have enough time to write, I will be starting these as soon as I get the first request. To speed things up a little, requests will be open from 11/29 to 12/13 OR until I receive 31 unique requests. So that's maximum two weeks to think of an idea and share it with me.Â
If I don't get enough overall or get anything prior to Dec. 1 I'll probably come up with some ideas of my own, but only if that happens! Additionally, if I don't get enough, I may open it up for people to request multiple times, again only if I don't get enough or run out of ideas (genuinely don't know how many I should expect so just trying to cover my bases lol)
To keep things organized, please request in the comments of this post. This also helps to potentially keep from overlap in requests, as you'll be able to see what else has already been requested. If you request in my ask box or such it'll make things a bit more difficult, so please avoid that.
HOWEVER, there is one exception to the above, which is if you wish to request anonymously, which is completely fine to do! But please only request in my ask box if you want to be anonymous. If overlap happens in that case, then y'all may just get two responses with similar vibes on the same day (essentially a bonus lol)
Confused Spirit
For those who may be concerned (as I was before making this post lmao) Confused Spirit's schedule will not be affected by this! Now that it's back I'd like it to stay back lol. We may stick to an every two weeks schedule for a bit, or may go back to weekly, it will depend on life stuff, not on other writing things. I promise ^_^
Having little things like these also help prevent writers block, and thus stay more consistent with updates
Sharing & More
Please feel free to share this post around, and request if you want to! Once I hit 31 unique ones I'll reblog this post with the announcement that requests are closed, so make sure to double check they aren't closed already prior to requesting!
I'll also post updates every couple of days regarding the status of total requests as well ^_^
Unrelated but similar, @/quilteddreams is working on a DCA Advent Calendar for December that's also really cool! (I'm helping out with beta reading :D) Highly reccommend you check it out once it starts posting!Â
Everything related to this will be under the tag #MM dca December, just in case there's another similar tag out there and I'm not just taking it for myself
Alright, that's all for now, excited to see what you guys ask for!
Adding the tag list to this since y'all enjoy my writing lol:

đImmersion, its quirks, and tips for language learning this way!
its the 5th of May, so happy children's day! đ I got a question in one of my posts asking for some advice on immersion learning! i thought it would be a good opportunity to talk about immersion in general, my current study(?) routine and perhaps give some useful advice! As the name suggests, Immersion language learning is done primarily by consuming media in your target language. Immersion can seem super intimidating to us learners, mostly cause we can't understand most of the stuff available to us. But! its not impossible to start out using immersion right out of the gate. i think people tend to get scared or go "I'll immerse when i get better at my TL!" But the truth of the matter is, your not going to get used to, or better at your target language unless you consume actual content. (in my opinion.)
Honestly, a lot of immersion learning is being able to tolerate that i probably wont understand everything right away. I will someday, but for now i have to be comfortable with not understanding a lot. which is okay! So, what is my current study routine?
right now, my routine consists of:
doing vocabulary cards on Anki from a premade anki deck.
playing about an hour of Animal crossing everyday
watching 1 - 3 episodes of an anime
watching Youtube videos
weekly (ish) grammar done by reading Imabi, and watching Cure Dolly videos on Youtube.
The bread and butter of my routine is learning vocab, and occasional grammar studies. I'm using the core2k/6k deck. which as the name implies, is an optimized vocab deck that contains the most common 6k JP vocabulary. i currently take 5 new vocab cards a day, and try to get my reviews in everyday. my anki deck has contributed a lot to me being able to immerse so early in my language journey. learning and then reviewing new words everyday lets me recognize words in my immersion. As time has gone on, i can recognize more and more words, and even some words I haven't encountered yet in my deck. Immersion, while still uncomfortable, (especially with complex media) is the other side of the coin. i try to spend double the time i spend on anki, immersing. Mostly because i enjoy what I'm immersing in, but also because i get more out of it the more time i spend immersing.
"that's all well and good Lucky, but what advice would you give to someone who wants to learn this way?"
Well! first of all, and this is very important:
Be comfortable with ambiguity. you may not be able to understand some, or maybe most of the thing you are immersing in. that's okay! Your brain is already looking for patterns to see in your TL, and is growing more accustomed to it. I got a lot of headaches in the beginning, i still do actually. but i know that's my brain working hard! (take a break if you get a headache!!)
Second, and probably just as important:
Follow your interests. make immersion fun! whats the point of immersing if its torturous?! I'm a lot more likely to continue immersing in something if i actually enjoy it. there are a lot of easier anime to immerse in, but if I'm not having fun, I'm not going to learn anything. you should do the same! even if its too difficult to understand. I'm currently watching someone on YouTube play a dating sim, and even though its waaaay above my skill level, I'm really enjoying myself watching it! I've even recognized some words i know. whole sentences, even.
Third:
Be Consistent! This is probably advice you've already heard, but it bears repeating! even if you do something small like listening to a song in your TL, that's immersion babyy :) consistency is key, above all.
Lastly: Track your Immersion. a problem with immersion is it can feel like you are going nowhere. tracking how much time you spend doing an activity, (watching videos, reading, etc) is a great way to make immersion more tangible. lots of people reccomend toggl, but i personally use polylogger. its built with language learners in mind, and is stupidly easy to use. i also keep personal logs in an online diary, as well as here on my blog to measure my progress. it helps!
alright, i think thats everything i have to say for now! if you've made it to the end of this long post, hello! and thank you <3 hope you've had a good day so far! I will leave you with some links to more reading on the subject under the cut, they go into more detail than i have here.
take care for now! ăžăăďź

dealing with academic burnout
hey lovelies! if you're feeling burnt out with school right now, you're not alone. here are some tips to help you push through and finish strong!! (long post incoming :))
BREAK IT DOWN -
big assignments can feel overwhelming, so break them into smaller, more manageable tasks. instead of "write a 10-page paper," think "write an outline," "research for 1 hour," "write the introduction," and so on. this makes the workload less daunting and helps you make consistent progress. it's also helpful to keep track of those smaller tasks in a list.
BE REALISTIC -
prioritize your tasks and set achievable daily or weekly goals. don't try to do everything at once. make a to-do list every day, and highlight your most important tasks. this helps you stay organized but also it feels really good to check things off your list :) for example, aim to complete two math problems instead of the entire set, or read one chapter instead of the whole book, and see where it goes from there.
TAKE BREAKS -
in order to be productive, you need to rest your mind!! try the pomodoro technique: work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. after four cycles, take a longer break (15-30 minutes). during your breaks, do something completely different from your study activity. get up, stretch, grab a snack, or go for a quick walk outside. it's refreshing for your mind and body.
STAY ACTIVE -
physical activity helps reduce stress and improve your mood. so you should aim to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. this could be a workout, a yoga session, or even just a really fast walk. if you don't have much time, try putting short bursts of activity in throughout your day. for example, do some stretches or a few jumping jacks between pomodoro cycles.
GET SUPPORT -
talk to friends, family, or a counselor if you're feeling overwhelmed. sometimes, just having someone listen can make a huge difference!! if youâre struggling with a particular subject or area, try forming/joining a study group or seeking help from a tutor. working with others can give you new perspectives and helps with loneliness.
HAVE A HEALTHY DIET -
your brain needs proper fuel to function at its best. try to eat balanced meals with fruits, veggies, whole grains, and protein. avoid too much caffeine and sugary snacks, because those can lead to energy crashes. keep a water bottle with you and make sure you're drinking enough throughout the day to keep your energy levels stable.
GET ENOUGH SLEEP -
pulling all-nighters is going to affect your concentration and memory. go for 7-8 hours of sleep each night. get a bedtime routine in place to help signal to your body that it's time to wind down. this could include stuff like reading a book, listening to calming music, or doing some mindfulness exercises. avoid screens at least an hour before bed, because the blue light can interfere with your sleep.
REWARD YOURSELF -
give yourself something to look forward to after completing a task. a favorite snack, watching an episode of your favorite show, or spending some time on social media, really anything that makes you happy. rewards reinforce your positive behavior and make studying feel more manageable. for example, tell yourself, "after I finish this chapter, I'll take a break to watch a funny youtube video."
STAY ORGANIZED -
keep track of deadlines and dates!! it will save you so much stress!! use a planner, calendar app, or bullet journal to log all your assignments and exam dates. you can also color code by subject/priority to make it easier to see what needs attention. review your schedule often and adjust it when you need to.
GIVE YOURSELF SOME LOVE -
it's okay to feel tired and stressed!! be kind to yourself and remember that you're doing your best. if you need to take a break, don't feel guilty about it. self-care is just as important as academic achievement. try some mindfulness or meditation and just take a moment to ground yourself.
hang in there, you've got this! just a little bit more to go and it'll be all worth it in the end. đŤś

So many fic writers donât acknowledge the fact that canonically Fenris hosts a game night with Donnic at the mansion WEEKLY
Like sure he probably put them on hold for a bit after his personal quests since oof those were not good times but past that he sees Donnic once a week!
So many of you guys are missing out on A - probably one of/the only friend Fenris consistently hangs out with OUTSIDE of Hawke and Co (even though heâs Avelineâs husband lmao). And B - the closeness and hilarity of their relationship, like they do this for years, they clearly talk to each other about a lot. To the point where Donnic tells him about maybe having children and stuff, which Fenris then asks Aveline about and she goes âyou two talk too muchâ LIKE??? ITS RIGHT THERE IN CANNON
The funny part comes in when youâre romancing Fenris because everyone depicts him as like brooding about it alone in his mansion for weeks (which he definitely did ngl) but then only confiding in either no one at all or like Varric WHEN DONNIC IS CANONICALLY RIGHT THERE
Like can you imagine that at one point during one of their game nights in Act 3 Fenris is like:
âDonnicâ
âYeah?â
âSo you are marriedâŚâ
âListen Fenris, buddy, youâre right. I am happily married and as your friend I would love to give you relationship advice but you were there for the absolute mess that was Aveline trying to court me. You know full well why I canât really help you get with Hawke. The two of you combined are worse than even my dear wife.â
âWe are not that badâ
âFenrisâ
âFasta vaas, fine. So what now?â
âWell I can offer encouragement, Aveline is close with Hawke used to have tea with her mother a lot, so I can tell you with absolute certainty that Hawke is into you and Leandra wouldnât have disapproved. You just have to make your move⌠and also never tell either of them that I told you thisâ
*Meanwhile in the Hawke estate*
âAveline I need you to do me a favour and get Donnic to find out if Fenris is still into meâ
âWhat?â
âYou told me they hang out a lot! And I canât just ask him that myself so I need you to find out for me Please? I really need you to return the favour here!â
I think this would be an absolutely hilarious interpretation of canon events and a really funny and sweet dynamic between the four of them. The rest of the Hawke flock could joke about them going on double dates lmao
TLDR: Donnic and Fenris are canonically really good friends and this should be acknowledged more in fics and stuff
(Fenris and Aveline are also good friends fyi but thatâs for a different post. As well as something I have actually seen a couple of people talk about on here so yeah another time)
#da2#dragon age aveline#dragon age 2#dragon age fenris#da2 aveline#da2 fenris#da2 donnic#fenris#aveline vallen#donnic hendyr#he doesnât have a tag lmao I didnât expect him to but still lol#fenris x hawke#fenhawke

i've returned to post about a particular subject i've been fighting to or not to post, because i used to consider this person the closest person in my life and i even considered her as a best friend and a sister.
and we have fallen out and apologised to each other many times, but perhaps whenever we argued it was life telling me that she is not supposed to be in my circle. and you could be wondering why am i bringing this up and telling tumblr this but im telling tumblr this to be aware of @couerardent and her scamming behaviour.
couerardent also known as MYSTIICWINTER OR MYSTICWIINTER.
talk about WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
[other people have come to me and spoke about how bad her services were, but i tried to overlook it because i really cared for her, lessoned learn]
i have always been empathetic towards ardent and her money situation, but there are moments when excuses turn into reasons to not do something. on august, i sent alex money because she needed it, but she also said in return she will give me 4 packs she usually gives her clients and she told me she would give me my money back.
first pack is "tell me your story."
second and other packs she hadnt told me what they were but she informed me that i'll be receiving them weekly since august, and now its november.
at first i was empathetic, since i used to be close to ardent, i knew she went through a lot of stuff at home, so i was patient. until august turned into september, and september turned into october and then october turned into novemeber.
and slowly i became annoyed, [as i should] because her services arent even long or good, as someone who gives chart readings to other people that consists more than fourteen pages, the effort to write that would take long, but ardent doesnt even give five pages for her services, three at most, so why is it taking her so long?
previously, she has joked to me about scamming other people, but would put the blame on them and not want to take accountability until they start using threats to expose her, i think she deleted the making fun of scamming them but here is some of it:
and when i would message her for updates about my reading because it'll take months, she would ignore me and even change her pfp on tumblr or discord, until i reach out to her on more platforms to get her attention.
and what would annoy me even more is that she would talk about how she never has something to do or would focus on other stuff knowing she needs to get my reading done lmao and this would be like 1-2 months after i was supposed to receive any of it lol.
worrying about the layout for almost 3 months PLEASE.
i have received 1/4 readings, and that was now almost 2-3 weeks ago, we should've been on my 2nd or 3rd reading by now, the only reason i have received 1 reading is because i did threaten to expose her if she didnt send the money or reading my way, because even i had some issues because living in london has gotten really difficult and i have been trying to support my family as much as i can, but im doing better right now.
its all about the principle. and she has none of that. and even attempted to victimise herself and behave like she was in distress whenever she got called out about her behaviour.
she lost track of time, the time being 3-4 months lol.
and when i was speaking to her she ignored me for a bit again ha, it was almost comedic. for almost two weeks she didnt try and check what i was speaking about.
she has gotten ill, but this was still months after.
and i have remembered, she has used much of her earned money to fund for her nose job but also uni, but during the moments it was best to pay me back was at the job she said paid her well, she informed me that when she gets paid by her job she'll pay me back, and she never did and ended up quitting the job.
[the unfairness i was speaking about is how uni her country dont do student finances, she's from romania, because they do in the uk it was just a surprise].
i asked her recently on how i was supposed to receive a reading but she didnt reply but change her pfp on whatsapp and discord, again.
if there is any confused people comment please because i did this half asleep lmao

hello, hi, hola â¨
JO'S PSA ANNOUNCEMENT
and a little explanation. so I hope youâll forgive me for taking up your time (especially after celebrating non stop). and I know only a bit ago I moved hope they caught us to a two-weekly upload, but Iâm actually going to put it on a hiatus.
this wasn't something i found easy, but i'm trying to learn from 2023 jo and if any of you were here then, you know i slowly burnt out forcing myself to do something.
[more info under the cut đââď¸ (if interested)]
I still like the story, and I still love my planâbut Iâm struggling to execute it. it's making me feel stressed, and I donât want to force myself to put something out Iâm not happy with, or come to regret either.
and there has always been something about the story that made me nervous? at first, I thought it was because it was new, and it would go away, but honestly, it kinda didnât? and so i pushed on because I've loved what I had already put out.
so then, I thought maybe thatâs just me? maybe Iâm running out of ideas or thinking too deeply?
and then I wrote in my room (the javi one shot) and began to write 'do me yourself' (which was meant to be a one shot) and realised that isn't the case at all. if anything, it kinda showed me that Iâm trying to force a square into a rectangle hole â and while it does fit, itâs not fitting as well as it could.
I thought the break between chapters (because of DMY) would help, but if anything, itâs made that feeling I have stand out even more.
so, I am not abandoning it, but more, taking longer to work on it when I want to â and without the pressure.
i can now spend time working through knots and oddities without feeling like i'm letting you all down. so when I do begin posting (whenever that will be) I can be consistent for both you and myself.
for now, Iâm going to take this week off from a consistent upload (Iâll likely still drabble, and probably end up doing more than I even should) and Tuesday 20th will be do me yourself â with that becoming the weekly series for a while (the frankie fans rejoice).
if you know me, you know this wasnât an easy thing to decide, and I know i don't even need to even justify this with a long arse post - like it's on hiatus, big deal? but, i'm anxious. I care a lot, and I care about being consistent and showing up. and so, while I do feel a bit bad, guilty, sad that Iâm doing this, i know it's also the right thing.
I hope you can understand, and I hope that youâll stick around for sunny â¨

Otherworldly Patron: The Bound Demon | Let's be honest, 'the fiend' patron is just 'the devil'
PDFs of this and more can be found over on at my Patreon here!
Anyone else dislike how the patron in the core rule book is called "The Fiend" when its totally 100% a devil? I did, but since we're all about sealing things this week, let's be a bit anime about this and bind demons inside of children and grant them unfathomable power. This would be different from a part demon which is more of a sorcerer situation.
This was slightly tricky considering canonically, each demon is different (even though mechanically there's only like 5 of them) and that of the few demons there actually are, they share very few properties. Originally I was going to make this subclass customisable, but considering this is customisation: the class, I chose against that. But considering that the high level demons are: demon lords, which are way too specific, and the balor, goristro, and marilith which are melee beat sticks, I needed to go for a more generic form of the sort of 'power' a demonic entity would give.
Demonic Endurance
A little something from our friend, the draconic sorcerer. A consistent throughline of demons is their resilience, considering they need to survive the abyss, so hit points!
Unnatural Presence
This is fun, I like the idea that animals are more innately aware of demons. I extended this to humanoids because while we may not understand it, we generally can feel something is off. But for extra flavour, there is some demon (literally, not in a my great great great great grandpappy was a demon way) in you therefore you should ping as a demon.
Envenomed Blood
Not an ability demons really have, but I felt like I needed to give more than just poison resistance since immunity to poison is the demons' thing, and devils too for some reason, but I'm just going to ignore them, so make the poison resistance from the fact that the blood is literal poison :)
Magic Resistance
I hesitated in giving a form of magic resistance, because not even the devil patron gives it while definitely having it, and I avoided telepathy for the same reason (and because it's the GOO's thing) but here we are. That said, most enemies still like to beat you to a pulp rather than to use spells even at high levels, so it's not that powerful
Abyssal Transformation
And this is me giving in and giving your the big smash, but trying my best not to invalidate any path but bladelock. But all high level demons are big and smashy, so I give you the big hurt.
And now to plug my stuff. I release homebrews weekly over on my Patreon. Anyone who pledges $1 or more per post don't have to wait a month to see them, and also help fund my being alive habit.
At the moment, they have exclusive access to the following:
It's a Trap!
Judgement Domain
The Greatwyrm Patron
Breaking and Exiting
I also have three classes, and a splatbook over on DriveThrueRPG to check out:
The Rift Binder. A class specialising in summoning monsters and controlling the battlefield.
The Witch Knight. A class that combines swords and sorcery in the most literal way.
The Werebeast. A class that turns you into a half beast to destroy your foes.
d'Artagnan's Adventurer Almanac. A compendium of races, subclasses, feats, spells, monsters and more!

Japanese QL Corner
ICYMI: There are so many Japanese qls airing weekly, so Iâm going to start posting this little round up at the end of each week. All but one of these are on Gaga and I highly recommend watching!
Chaser Game W
Fuyu got a personality transplant this week and I have officially given up on this show being what I hoped it was. Enjoy the mess and the humiliation kink and don't look for consistent writing, logical plot, or deeper themes and you will find some things to enjoy. Like these two beautiful ladies making out a bunch!
Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yara ka
I love this show so much, y'all. This week we got the return of Sakae's selfish chaos ex, Mizuki, and because this is a show by and for adults, this resulted in our leads engaging in some proper communication, clarifying their feelings for each other, and sharing their first kiss by the end of the episode. I loved seeing more of Sakae and Mizuki's dynamic, and I just know if Soga wasn't in the picture Mizuki would already be in with Sakae again. Sakae is a soft touch and Mizuki clearly knows how to play him. But thankfully, Soga has already wormed his way into Sakae's loyal heart, so he was not tempted to waver. And for Soga, who is experiencing a queer awakening via his relationship with Sakae, Mizuki's presence was a much needed jolt to sort out his own feelings and decide he wants to try a relationship despite his concerns about not staying in Osaka long-term. I also loved the way their friends rallied around them to push Sakae and Soga to figure their shit out, and the sauna scenes will never get old.
Perfect Propose
It's official, I have adopted Kai as my child and will be forming a protection squad. This show is striking a good tonal balance of being fairly downbeat and serious, between Kai's past and Hiro's current work/life balance issues, but also uplifting in how their relationship builds. I like that they talk to each other so honestly about what they're feeling for each other, and Kai's quiet confidence that Hiro returns his feelings and just needs to come to terms with it is both hilarious and correct. My favorite thing that happened in this episode was Kai confidently noting all the ways Hiroâs body was responding to him and asking him to âbe conscious of it.â Kai wants Hiro to be conscious of Kaiâs feelings but also of his own responses, and heâs asking him not to look away from it and pretend he doesnât know thereâs something between them. I love the confidence of that.
And I sympathize with Hiro, as well, because it's not just that he's never considered being with a man before--he also just doesn't feel he has anything to offer to a partner right now given his brutal work situation. His guilt and shame for missing the festival after inviting Kai to go together was real, and you can see that he just canât fathom having anything to give with the situation heâs in at work right now. The trick will be trusting that Kai can accept those limitations until heâs able to find a better balance, and then actually taking steps to pay attention to what he needs and wants, both in this relationship and in his career. Hiro has not been taking care of himself and it's catching up to him.
Ossan's Love Returns
A downbeat week for this show, and an episode that did not entirely work for me. I liked some of the themes they were exploring in this one, but it was all missing the humor that I've come to rely on and I don't feel that all the story threads pulled together as tightly as they normally do. In particular, my head is inquisitively tilted at the show's decision to make Maki and Haruta's wedding episode feel like such a misery slog, to focus primarily on the tension and strife leading up to the event rather than the joy it should inspire, and then to stay in the melancholy after a small moment of catharsis for our couple (and some season 1 flashbacks) by focusing on the sadness their marriage inspired in their various lonely suitors rather than their own wedded bliss. Seeing a wedding in jbl is a practically unheard of occurrence; a bit more queer joy was in order IMO and its absence was notable. I also thought the swing from Kurosawa beginning to accept a new role in Harutaâs life to suddenly going back to being lovelorn felt abrupt and poorly constructed. It's not that I think these ideas are unfounded given the show's focus on older male characters who feel past their prime for romance, but the execution was not quite right. And of course I am not too keen on the death flagging we got at the end for Kurosawa; I really hope the show will not take this story in a tragic direction for him.
Tsukuritai Onna to Tabetai Onna 2
I have still only seen the first four episodes of this; sadly, the next batch is not yet available to me. But soon! In the meantime, let's revisit Nomoto sobbing over a lesbian film. She's just like me fr.
Next week we'll be continuing all of these plus adding My Strawberry Film, the final Drama Shower (go here for an explanation on what that is from @bengiyo) show for the season! I continue to be delighted by this embarrassment of jql riches.

hai there!! how are you doing today? :3
Exhausted, but about to be productive. Gotta film a few Vtuber things, get some writing done, and build a little table at the office. I need to do some posting on socials for the Alphonse plushie. Busy afternoon coming up.
Aside from that, I'm good. I've started doing my 3 weekly gym sessions without my trainer and I think I enjoy the experience a lot better when I can just vibe out listening to music so that's fun.
Got some blood test results and things are looking good there.
I've been cooking a lot more lately, and really enjoy grilled chicken thighs with salt/pepper/garlic + chipotle + garlic butter seasonings. Juicy af and gets a good crisp on it. That's nice.
Uhhhhhhh...how else am I doing?
Very thrilled about the Alphonse plushie so far, we crushed our early launch numbers from Charlie and I feel good about how the longevity will work out. We'll be running a BitterSweet marathon stream on the channel over the weekend and I hope that'll help raise awareness for the plushie as well! (This is what I'm recording some stuff for)
Gonna do some fiddling with a type of video sometimes soon, which is essentially a Talking Head video but it's either the MeTuber, Alphonse, etc telling a story or discussing something related to the channel. FAQs, the literal YuuriVoice backstory, that sort of thing. Types of stuff that won't be BANGERS, but will be really cool to have on the channel in general over time.
I got a goddamn ethernet cable plugged into the PC so we shouldn't have anyyyyy stream issues again. Ever. Not even once. That's good.
I do have some bangers lined up for spooky season, though it wasn't quite what I had wanted it to be when I was brainstorming half a year ago. That's life.
Gonna fuck around and record the BitterSweet Director's cut lines...again. Looking forward to that.
Extremely excited about Dragon Age at the end of the month, though I won't really get to play much of it because I'll be going to a Ren Faire that weekend! But the following week? I'll be locked the fuck in.
Back in relation to YuuriVoice things, I've started taking a serious look at Wiki solutions for the fandom, and think I've settled on one that I'm excited about firing up. I will be doing my best to get that up and running BEFORE Echoes of Evalas. The tool I have in mind is way more impactful than a simple Fandom Wiki, and should involve no annoy ads, a great browsing experience and....uh, info. Lots of info, I guess. This spawned from the need to have a visible timeline for the fandom to visualize when and where things were happening, and I went down a rabbit hole.
Also, maps...I need to...find a map maker...
I can't think of anything else I've really got going on right now. The big focus now is consistency. I need to keep this up through the rest of the year and end it strong, so we go into 2025 rocking and rolling.

g1 season is upon us! i'm too lazy to gif every match myself! the world needs gifmakers like you! yes you!
this guide includes: basic gifmaking, actions, how to blur on-screen graphics, coloring tips catered specifically to wrestling footage (mainly aew and njpw), how to add subtitles, what tags to use
what you will need:
photoshop (i currently use cc 2017 for windows which you can grab from this post by birdysources)
kmplayer (for extracting frames)
what you might need depending on what you're looking to gif:
4k video downloader (for downloading videos off youtube)
vkopt (browser extension that lets you download videos off vk)
step 1: getting the footage
if you're directly downloading from a site this step is super easy. just make sure to always go for the highest quality of footage available (for njpw this is nowhere near 1080p, and even aew's 1080p footage is pixelated in placesâbut don't let this deter you!)
if you plan on giffing something off a ppv, chances are you might need to torrent the event. if you can, look for versions off fite with either web or webrip in the title for the best quality. this applies to weekly television too (fite doesn't have picture-in-picture). always seed your torrents. yes, even that one match from 2012. especially that one
you can also get recent shows off watchprowrestling dot co (previously org) which includes njpw tour shows and indie events as well. check out indyâ
wrestlingâ
group on vk for smaller promotions and japanese promotions outside of njpw (tjpw, stardom, noah...)
step 2: choosing a clip
wrestling footage quality is not consistent. entrances with too many flashing lights or small particles will have huge quality drops, so unless it's something really special, don't put yourself through that. close-ups are generally your best friend but don't shy away from clips with lots of movement (you do sometimes want to gif the wrestling parts of wrestling too)
step 3: extracting frames
open your video in kmplayer. go to the part that you want to gif (though, i suggest leaving a bit of fodder before and after the actual clip. you can always trim the frames down later and it's better to start off with more). then, press ctrl + g
this should bring up this window:
your settings might be different if it's your first time downloading the app so just copy what you see here
kmplayer automatically captures into its own folder, which you can change if you want, but i just left it as is. i recommend pinning the folder you regularly use to the quick access menu in your file explorer
hit start, start the video, let it capture frames for however long, and then hit stop on both the extractor and the video itself. and now you have a bunch of frames in a folder. cool!
step four: converting frames to layers
open photoshop. this will take ages but open it. go to file -> scripts -> load files into stack...
this will bring up this window:
click browse... and select all the frames you just extracted. depending on the number of frames, this might take you a bit. then hit ok and let your layers load into photoshop. this will take a long time (saying this as someone whose laptop tends to heat up to the temperature of an egg pan at this point in the process)
step five: actions
i use actions (user-built series of recorded commands, meaning you don't have to click everything manually) for everything except coloring. i use a mishmash of like three different actions that i never bothered to organize. these are the two most important ones:
actionpack #1 by giulia (i use the setup and save portions from this one)
squishmoon actions by lildohnut (i use the hd sharpening from here, first layer on 0.3 for close-ups and 0.2 otherwise, and the second layer at the suggested 50%)*
*most sharpening settings you'll find are made for current films and tv shows so you do have to make some adjustment to fit your crunchy wrestling footage
step six: sizing
pick a size for your gif! here is a handy chart:
as for height, it can range anywhere from 300px-540px and beyond. most people go for 350px-450px. 400px is the sweet spot
personal preference: adjust canvas size not image size and fit your footage accordingly. some footage (looking at you aew) can have an odd black bar at the bottom, and manual resizing can help getting rid of it. if you just resize the whole image that will stay there and bother you
additional tip: guidelines
9/10 times you will leave your footage centered. however, there are times when this can look a bit awkward, depending on the framing, in which case i like bringing in a few guidelines. go to view -> new guide layout...
rule of thirds is generally good for drawing the eye to certain places. these settings will divide your canvas into nine squares that help you reposition your main gif layer
optional step: blurring pop-up graphics and banners
so, you have your sharpened, resized gif... but the sharpening made the small text and other unwanted elements on your screen shrivel up like raisins. you can leave it as is, people won't mind, it's a wrestling gif, who cares. but, if you want, you can just blur it out
i'm at least a little bit certain that i'm personally the guy who brought this over from k-pop tumblr (not saying i invented the concept, i just love being a trendsetter) and so i can give you a few reasons as to why people do this. such as:
adding subtitles over pre-existing, burnt subtitles (example: njpw post-match comments off njpwworld and not youtube)
getting rid of elements that might distract people from the focal point of the gif (the hotties... and the moves. mostly the hotties)
it makes your otherwise milquetoast sharpening look a little better in contrast
it's gonna be ugly either way so it's a pick your poison type of situation. if you do want to try the blurring method, you will need a basic knowledge of filters and layer masks
step-by-step blurring process:
duplicate your gif layer
blur the layer on top (i typically go for a 4.0 gaussian blur; for this, go to filter -> blur -> gaussian blur...)
apply a layer mask to the blurred layer and make the layer mask black (this will remove the blur effect, don't be scared). to access the layer mask just click on it. you can press alt before clicking to "enter" the layer mask (though you won't see your gif this way)
go in with a soft round brush (or any brush) with white and draw over the bits you want blurred. this is the tedious part
profit?
here's a comparison:
it's really down to personal preference ŮŠ(ËáË*)Ů
i convert my base gif layer and the blurred layer into a smart object before moving on with my process because sometimes photoshop likes to do this thing where it only applies the blur to the frame you're on. you can avoid this by combining the layers manually
if you're working with njpw footage and your clip plus coloring combination allows you to, you can also just go over the banner with black and blend it into the background. it's by far the best option but there's so rarely an opportunity to utilize it (i did it in the little header i made... go back and look at how beautiful she is)
step six: coloring
the big one. oh boy. prefacing this with: you can just skip coloring if you want. the sharpening settings i recommended earlier give a nice contrast to the gifs as is, so if it looks fine like that, you don't need any fancy colors. that being said...
my thought process going into coloring is to focus on skin tones and adjust everything around them. i don't tend to use psds, i always just manually color correct based on the actual footage i'm working with (venues differ, lighting differs, hues differ... incredibly hard to plan for all of it in advance). if i plan on making multiple gifsets of the same event/match, i do re-use settings, but sometimes minor adjustments are still needed
to begin coloring, you will need to use adjustment layers. you will pretty much need a basic knowledge of all of them (to the extent of knowing what the sliders and values do)
[1] i always begin with an exposure layer. this will remain above all of your layers (unless you plan on adding subtitles). here are my settings:
again, every layer you add after this will go below your exposure layer
[2] i add a selective color layer to further adjust the blacks. this will vary gif to gif but keep your adjustments small
[3] i add a vibrance layer. wrestling footage has major saturation problems that you can manage early on to make your life easier. take back a tiny bit (usually from -3 to -5) of vibrance before you begin your other color adjustments
[4] this is the big skin tone adjustment step using a curves layer. it does most of the heavy-lifting in my process. here is a video tutorial that explains the technique i use. it works the same with gifs as it does with images. the key differences are:
the image you are color picking off of shouldn't be a limited skin tone chart but rather an image of the wrestler(s) in natural (or as close to natural as you can find) lighting. i just go for renders used on the roster page. fan photography is way too edited to use here
try picking from a darker area of skin (shadows, midtones). it fits better with match lighting
this step will most likely correct color tints, but keep in mind that different promotions/shows/venues have different lighting. here are my personal observations:
aew dynamite and rampage have strong magenta tints
aew collision and roh honor club have strong red tints
njpw has a washed out blue tint
impact has a strong green tint
you can either lean into these (play around with making them really vibrant) or cancel them out using opposites on the color wheel (for example: to get rid of the magenta tint on dynamite, either decrease the magenta slider in your neutrals using selective color or add more green using color balance)
you will almost always have to add more cyan as well (either using color balance or channel mixer; channel mixer can also help you fine-tune skin tones with its blue tabâdon't get rid of yellow undertones!)
[5] here is where i start fiddling around with manual adjustments that i seriously can't help you with... just add layers and change colors until you think it feels right. don't be afraid to start over if needed
[6] finishing touches! if you're like me you will have overcolored in the previous step. don't be afraid to add a saturation layer and decrease specifically the saturation of the reds (this will affect the skin tone; if you feel like you're on the right track but it's just too orange-looking, it's a saturation issue)
i also tend to add a black & white layer below the exposure layer up top set to soft light and lowered to 10% opacity. this gives you a bit of additional contrast that pulls the final gif together in my opinion
optional step: adding subtitles and watermarks
always add text layers above your coloring!
[1] subtitles
the font i use for subtitles is arial rounded mt bold, which you can download for free here. the point of subtitles is for them to be readable, so feel free to use any other font as long as it can be read with ease (nothing too thin or too blocky). if you plan on using the font i use, make sure to set it on faux bold and faux italics
font size differs based on the size of your gif, but it should normally be between 17pt and 23pt. i like to keep my tracking (letter-spacing) the same as my font size (so for 21pt subtitles i would have the tracking also at 21). i keep leading (the space between multiple lines of text) 3pt or 4pt
if there are two people speaking, i like setting the second speaker's text color to #ffd300. this is a generic yellow caption color that is still easy to read
after you have your basic text done, right click on your layer to add blending options. adding a stroke and a drop shadow can further help bring your text to the foreground. I keep my stroke (hah) at a simple 1px black. here are my drop shadow settings:
here is a more detailed guide about subtitles by clubgif
as for placement i add a horizontal guide at 95% and put my text on top of the line (while also keeping it centered vertically)
[2] watermarks
i personally don't use watermarks because i just don't care to, but if you want to add one, the same general ideas apply. just lower the opacity of your text layer at the end (if you want... again, a watermark is personalized)
step seven: timing
this is where you'll have to convert your video timeline back to a frame animation!
delete the frames that you don't need and then set a consistent timing (click on your first frame and shift + click on your last one to select all of your frames before adjusting). i like my gifs at 0.04, but depending on the footage you can go for 0.03 (newer bte episodes) or 0.05 (this also works if you don't have enough frames and want your gif a bit slower)
step eight: exporting
go to file -> export -> save for web (legacy)...
here are my export settings:
make sure to keep your gif under 10mb! if your file exceeds 10mb, you can't upload it to tumblr. you either have to cut some more frames or add compression to your gif (something i would never do, i always just cut frames)
additional tip: tagging
you have your gif! but how do you get people to actually look at it?
i always tag wrestlers* (full name, for both searchability and tag filtering purposes), promotions (initialisms like #aew over #all elite wrestling; if it's a more generic promotion name i.e. impact, go for #impact wrestling), tracked edit tags (#aewedit, #njpwedit; this not only helps source blogs find your posts and give them a bigger reach but it lets you browse other people's works). if you want to go the extra mile you can also include which event/video the gifset is from somewhere in your tags (if it's not already in the caption)
*even if you feel like it personally hurts you to tag that one wrestler you can't stand who happens to be in a match with your fave: do try tagging all wrestlers involved for ease of filtering, especially if you don't add image descriptions to your gifsets (tumblr's post content filtering system picks up on those)
general tumblr etiquette but don't cross-tag (i.e. tag a wwe gifset as #aew). no one likes cross-taggers. crossover events are exempt from this rule of course (forbidden door, multiverse united...)
additional tip: accessibility
don't use gradient text in your captions. screen readers can't read them!
if you can, include an image description. no matter how basic. this not only helps people with screen readers but the alt text of your gif is what's going to be displayed in case the gif isn't loading properly. here's a guide on how to caption gifsets by shangs
and you're done! all that's left to do is get silly with it. once you have the basics down you can virtually do anything. you can make those pretty graphics with blending. you can gif every single match of your fave in chronological order. sky's the limit
don't be discouraged if your gifs are not "perfect" from the get-go. this is a hobby just like any other hobby, and with time you'll get better at it. don't compare yourself to others and don't put your efforts down. only you can make the exact gifs you want to see

WHB F2P Solomon Seals Earnings
last updated: mar 8, 2024
as we all noticed solomon seals are now obtainable through other means than just buying them! pb has mentioned that we can get at least 500 seals per month, and here's a breakdown of how!
METHOD 1: MONTHLY ATTENDANCE
pretty straightforward, just logging in everyday each month will get you the bare minimum of 200 seals per month.
METHOD 2: WEEKLIES
i recently updated a previous post i did where i did a breakdown of what materials/currency you get per week and how much of said materials/currency is earned, and that update includes solomon seals! feel free to check out the full post here.
to summarize what's in that post, the weekly achievements rewards (that were previously gems) are now solomon seals! you now get 50 seals per week by simply playing the game.
by now you've probably noticed that this + monthly rewards only gives 400 seals per month. where's the other 100? well, that leads me to the final methodâ
METHOD 3: MINHYEOK MINIGAME
this is where you get your last 100 or so seals for the month. you just need to earn at least 4 seals per day from this gamemode to get the last 100 seals. however, since this game is dependent on rng, don't get discouraged if you don't hit the 4 seals a day goal; some days may offer more, some may offer less, it's more a matter of you needing to consistently play the minigame. [edit in regards to mar 7th update] obtaining these last 100 seals is a bit more tricky than before with the new update to the minigame. with the rng + decrease in gold panties, the chances of you getting 100 or so has probably decreased :/
i am also by no means telling you that you should force yourself to play this minigame, even i myself don't play it anymore as it's very tedious. if the minigame had pies i'd probably be more incentivized to play tbh :///
realistically, you're only missing like 2 pulls a month if you don't play this minigame, which imo doesn't really make that big of a difference in the long run as long as you're completing dailies/weeklies
so yeah, if anyone was curious as to how the 500 seals per month was spread out throughout the game, now you know ig,,! hope this was helpful in some way

The oshi no ko ending was inevitable and thatâs why itâs bad.
Looking back, I think oshi no ko was doomed to have a unsatisfying ending from the start. After all, Akasaka has said multiple that the beginning and ending had been planned start from the get go, he just needed to filled out the middle part. Youâll think that heâd be able to build towards his original vision naturally, but itâs the second part of his statement that the problem.
Itâs natural for a story to change and drift from the original plan, especially in a long spanning weekly series like onk. As the characters develop and evolve, the planned trajectory of their character arcs will have to change to accommodate. But Akasaka doesnât want to change the ending.
A lot of writers come up with a specific scene first and write a story based on that one scene. But as they write, they realize the story they actually put on page doesnât flow organically into that scene anymore. They basically have two options, one: kill their darling and change course. Or, two: stick to the plan and try to get the story back on track. Akasaka chose option two. Now, option two isnât necessarily worse than one, it is riskier but with time and effort, itâs not unsalvageable. But Akasaka doesnât have that either.
Because of this, the ending we actually get is so incompatible with the rest of the story that it feels like itâs from an alternate version of the manga. Because it is!
Akasakaâs original plan was probably for Aqua to die after his revenge, but as the story went on and Aquaâs character arc ends with him giving up on revenge, that motivation no longer holds up. So, Aqua needed a new motivation, to protect his sister. (Never mind that this accidentally implies that Aquaâs dreams are less valuable than Rubyâs)
Ruby and Hikaru are also victims (especially Hikaru), arguably even more than Aqua. Because Aquaâs characterization at least stayed consistent, something his sister and father donât have the luxury of. We basically have no idea wtf is up Hikaru, we donât anything about him honestly due to all the marvel movie level twists the series pull. He and Ruby feel like shallow caricatures of themselves by the end of the story. We donât even know how Ruby feels about Aqua post the 143 kiss. Does she still want to bone him? Does she know that Aqua was crushing on Kana? We donât even get an insight into her thought process post Aquaâs death, all we got was a montage of her crying a lot before pulling herself together.
Maybe the real tragedy was the butchered character arcs and half-baked story beats.
Moral of the story: sometimes you should kill your darlings, it will make for a better story and your audience will probably enjoy it more.

Why is landing an Internship as a Computer Engineering/Computer Science Student so hard ?
Hey there, dear coders!
I apologize for my long absenceâlife caught me off guard with a lot of work and projects. Now that I finally have some time, I wanted to make a post to connect with you all. Thank you so much for 1,000 subscribers! I know maintaining a community requires consistent posting, and I feel like many of you might have forgotten about me. But I promise to make something big out of this. I've been thinking about starting a newsletter where you can receive weekly emails from me, discussing something I learned that week or anything that intrigued me and I felt like sharing.
Now, back to our question: Is it really hard to land an internship as a computer science student? The answer is yes, and as a computer engineering student myself, I can attest to this.
I've often wondered why it's so difficult. After some observations, I discovered that almost every computer science student's resume looks the same. The portfolios are nearly identical, lacking uniqueness. If you've studied at the same school as your friends, what would make a recruiter choose you over them?
This is where uniqueness and a sense of self come in. Your portfolio or website should reflect exactly who you are as a person and highlight your strengths.
The second crucial factor is dedication. I've had classmates who are extremely dedicated. They might not have any special skills, but they show immense interest in what they want to do. This drive is palpable, and recruiters can sense it too.
Sometimes, the resume isn't even the most important aspect. For big companies like Oracle, what you say and know during the interview and technical tests matters more. The resume is just the very first step.
So, what I've learned along the way can be summed up in two words: uniqueness and dedication.
Now how to Create the Perfect Resume to Land an Internship as a Student ?
1. Keep the design simple:
Avoid extra designs or too many colors. While uniqueness is important, recruiters generally do not favor overly designed resumes.
2. Structure your resume properly:
- The Resume Header
Contact Information:
Full name and title: List your first and last name. Use the title of the role you want instead of your current title.
Professional email address: Use a clean format like [email protected].
Phone number: Choose the number you check most frequently. Record a professional voicemail greeting if yours is too casual.
Address: List only your city and state. Let recruiters know if you're willing to relocate if applicable.
LinkedIn or other professional social media: Include your LinkedIn profile if it's active and relevant. List any portfolios or computer engineering-related sites.
- The Resume Summary
A paragraph where you describe yourself by answering these questions:
What is your professional style? (Use one or two descriptive words such as patient, critical thinker, consensus builder, excellent designer.)
What is your greatest engineering strength?
What will you add to this particular team?
What is your process for building and maintaining computer networks?
What are you proudest of in your career?
Example:
Motivated computer engineering student with a strong foundation in software development and solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Looking for an opportunity to enhance my skills in a challenging professional environment.
- The Employment History Section
Be specific about how you contributed to each position and the impact you made.
List the job title, organization name, dates of employment, and 3â6 bullet points showcasing your achievements.
Start each bullet point with a strong action verb like collaborated or designed.
Highlight significant achievements rather than just listing responsibilities.
If you have no experience, include a projects section. This will act as your experience. Highlight how you worked on each project and your passion for it.
- The Skills Section
Combine hard and soft skills. The skills section is often the first place recruiters look to ensure you have the key abilities they're seeking. Your entire resume should support the skills you list here.
- The Education and Certifications Section
List your education, including any relevant courses or special achievements during your degree. Also, mention any certifications you have, whether from freeCodeCamp, Google, Coursera, etc.
By following these tips, you can create a resume that stands out and showcases your unique strengths and dedication. Good luck with your internship search, and remember to stay true to yourself!

So I think the worst take of the fandom is that all of the problems of the show would have been fixed had it gotten a full S3. That literally any problem the show had merely came from the shortening. This is... Well, just blatantly shows that the fandom not only doesn't understand how the animation industry works AND doesn't want to actually look at the narrative they did choose to focus on post the shortening call that were just... baffling.
So first let's establish how much of the show was affected by the Shortening. As a fandom, we found out about it during the hiatus between S1 and 2. This was at earliest, August 2020 since the S1 finale came out late August 2020. Dana has claimed two things that are important to this timeline. 1: The shortening was decided on shortly before the finale came out and 2: That the first episode affected by Covid, which would have been back in March/April, was Looking Glass Ruins. So we EXPLICTLY know that the shortening didn't affect the show until after S2 Ep 5.
BUT then we get into production schedules. Before S2 even BEGAN airing, we were told to stop campaigning for a full S3 because they had to get started on storyboards for the season and that was effectively the firm deadline. This means ALL of S2 was effectively done in script and storyboards by the time S2 aired. This makes sense to keep a weekly schedule and the like and most animation professionals will tell you they work MONTHS in advance of release, bare minimum.
This means, AT BEST, S2B was when the shortening really kicked in. And yes, S2B has pacing issues. It has issues in general and is when most people think the quality of the show dropped. The problem is that... The signs were always there. There's a reason why there's been a backlash because as people become disillusioned with the show, you have to ask what was driving so much before.
And a lot of that was potential. S1 is so good when you first watch it because it keeps teasing the idea that it's going to tackle things in a complex way. That it will explore concepts like Amity's abusive family, magic, fantasy vs reality, etc. like that. It's why the fandom was at its strongest during S1.
Unfortunately, the problem with presenting good ideas and then not executing on them, or completely gutting them is that those old parts are a lot harder to enjoy. As Willow was effectively not a character for half a season and then just suddenly was a jock, people began to realize the fact that she in the show is much more a plot device than anything else. They claimed "We're not doing the one kind act into friendship and forgiveness thing with Amity and Willow" and then literally did NOTHING with it until S2B and eventually DID just do the same trope anyways but now with less resonance than it would have had in Understanding Willow.
Not only that but even S1 didn't give a single shit about its worldbuilding. The First Day has Dana Terrace as a lead writer on it. If anyone knows the worldbuilding best, it should be her... So why is it that no one talks about multi-coven things being illegal? It's literally just used as meta commentary and so they entirely ignore the worldbuilding they have. Reaching Out is exactly the same, with Dana as the SOLE writer of that where Amity and everyone else treats joining a coven like going to college and not literally the word of the law.
But S1 couldn't even keep Wild Witches consistent. Half the time Eda can chill and not worry. She can go to a place funded by the EC like Hexide and not flinch for a second that Bump might call the guards on her despite that being kind of the ONE real rule to their society that makes it not just our world but with teeth. Then again, the show gives NO FUCKS about its own stuff, willing excising portions of itself that it finds cumbersome. Escaping Expulsion is BEFORE Looking Glass Ruins and yet it murders Luz's magical potential in its sleep and also discards Amity's family as easily disposable, despite how much the show claims her mother's influence is the reason why Amity behaved the way she did for all of... Three appearances? Because Amity's arc isn't actually good.
It shouldn't be surprising S2 would do this though when the writers already struggled to do anything with Luz's magic. If she's supposed to be learning and growing... Even S1 is shit at this and is repetitive. Not just with the at least three times we do "King has a minion!" B plot that isn't funny and doesn't do anything but also with its lessons. Luz theoretically learns to listen to Eda in the third episode and arguably the second as well. Then she gets her first glyph with the lesson, in theory. of not trying to take shortcuts to do magic and to not steal. And then in Adventure in the Elements, not even to impress Amity but because of her impatience, she steals something to take a shortcut to stronger magic. That is THREE episodes of the first TWELVE of the series. It usually takes most kids shows at least a LITTLE longer to be that bad at retreading its own lessons.
And the final part of this is that... S2 actually had to be effectively the exact same as it was for s3 to happen. You need the foreshadowing of the Collector for the Day of Unity. You need to FINALLY do something with Belos for the revelations of the Human Realm to happen and to do Luz's angst arc. You need Hunter to be at least 90% redeemed so he's there on their side during The Day of Unity, etc. like that. Then you get half a season in the human realm before coming back to the Isles for half a season, just like Amphibia did because returning home is the best mid-season finale you can have there. So any argument that a full S3 would have actually fixed issues with S2B is just... Wrong. The problems with S2B come with the fact that S2A wastes a FUCKTON of time on elements that don't matter.
Oh, and lest we forget that The Collector could have been cut. He had one appearance in a dream, that also doesn't make sense with his characterization, before S2B. In the fact, the crew has admitted as much. He was added AFTER the news of the Shortening because they always wanted to include a character like him so now that they didn't have the time for him... Cram him in anyways.
Could a show have EVER been saved when that's how they treat one of their two final antagonists? It's the sort of statement that just solidifies the idea that TOH didn't want three seasons. It wanted five... If not just to go on forever. To be the next monolithic show, even as it repeats character arcs, lessons and shrinks characters rather than expands them.
So no, the show isn't bad because of the shortening. The show is bad because the writing is bad.
-
#the owl house is one of my favorite shows ever#but it is not immune to criticism#sure the shortened season messed a lot do stuff up#but a lot of the bad stuff was the result of poor writing decisions#the owl house#toh#toh critical#long post
