Denúncia falsa? Thiago Brennand pode ter sofrido tentativa de extorsão; entenda

Uma garota de programa queria R$300 mil para afirmar que foi estuprada pelo empresário

Desde o dia 27 de abril do ano passado, o empresário Thiago Brennand está preso, acusado de cinco estupros e crimes de agressão física. Quanto aos estupros, embora já condenado em dois casos, nos processos não há laudos que comprovem os crimes.

Um desentendimento com a modelo Helena Gomes, na academia Body Tech, em 3 de agosto de 2022, colocou Thiago Brennand no centro do que pode ser uma das maiores "armações" para uma série de extorsões.

Uma das evidências de que o empresário pode estar sendo vítima de extorsão é um áudio revelado com exclusividade pelo Diário de S.Paulo. Uma dona de um prostíbulo e uma garota de programa tratam de uma trama para "tirar uma grana preta" de Brennand.

No diálogo, as mulheres combinam para que a prostituta fizesse um programa com Thiago Brennand para depois denunciar o empresário por abuso sexual. A negociação envolvia uma oferta de R$ 150 mil. A prostituta fez a contraproposta de R$ 300 mil. Não chegaram a um acordo sobre o valor. Após fazer sexo, prostituta tentaria extorquir Brennand. A outra moça falava em "tirar uma grana preta" do empresário.

CONDENADO - O primeiro caso que rendeu uma pena de 10 anos e meio se prisão a Thiago Brennand envolve a americana Christa Dapuzzo. A sentença saiu no dia 11 de outubro de 2023.

Mesmo com mais de 1.550 mensagens, 40 ligações telefônicas e seis pedidos de encontro para novas relações sexuais com Thiago Brennand, enviadas e realizadas pela americana Christa Dapuzzo, o juiz Israel Salu, com apenas oito meses na função, condendou o empresário a 10 anos e 6 meses de prisão em regime fechado.

Há contradições no caso, pois foi comprovado que a mulher, depois do estupro, supostamente ocorrido em junho de 2022, por meio de aplicativo de mensagens, enviou 1.553 mensagens de texto, áudios e imagens ao acusado. Dessas mensagens, em pelo menos 340 ela usou tom romântico e outras dezenas, apelou para textos e imagens de cunho meramente sexual.

Christa, em uma das mensagens em que pede para fazer sexo com Brennand, recomenda que ele não fosse à casa dela com o veículo Ferrari, pois ela dizia que aquele carro era pequeno, apertado e desconfortável para fazer sexo dentro dele.

TRAIÇÃO - A suposta vítima chegou a passar cerca de três dias na mansão de Brennand, em Porto Feliz, interior paulista. Ela transou com o empresário por duas vezes em sua casa, em São Paulo, aproveitando que seu marido viajava.

Charles is the son of the groundskeeper at St. Hilarion's School for Boys while Edwin is a pupil there. And he can't help but notice Edwin—how he’s nearly always alone, or else being harangued by the cruel older boys who call themselves his peers.

Edwin often sits by the lake by himself, to read, or to do his assignments in the shade of the trees. Picturesque as a painting, he is. One day Charles dares to approach him, though he knows the risk in it—prepared to be rebuffed, rebuked for his untoward attention to someone he is meant to ignore; but the boy does not turn him away.

And so they become friends. Tentative, and then less and less so.

Together they explore the school's sprawling grounds, all of whose surprising hiding-places Charles Rowland knows by heart, having wandered them himself for years and made them his own refuge. The woods become theirs; the shore by the lake theirs; the shade of the trees theirs. The attic, where no one comes to look for them in the dead of night, also theirs.

And then one day Charles notices a group of boys surrounding Edwin. The usual cadre, and they're posturing, their voices loud in the autumn air. They’ve ripped Edwin's penny magazine from his grip and are tearing pages out of it, scattering them to be plucked up by the wind. Charles can do nothing else but step in. He shouts at them to back off, puts himself between them and Edwin, and gets himself thrashed for his trouble—but they, at least, finally leave Edwin alone.

Edwin, for his part, cannot believe Charles would be so reckless for his sake. Charles has not yet mentioned to him that he is used to this sort of treatment, and sees worse at home. They sit together in the boathouse by the lake, cross-legged, close enough for Edwin to dab carefully at Charles’ split lip and bleeding knuckles.

“You should not have done that for me,” he chides, though it carries no heat. “What will happen now?” He thinks word is sure to get back to the school, and there will be a scandal. Those boys, who so vocally despise Edwin, will hardly be quiet in their outrage, their humiliation. Charles’ father might be relieved of his post, and then Charles’ family will have to leave St. Hilarion’s. That is how these things go.

And what was it all for? For Edwin? How could it have been worth it?

“Doesn’t matter, does it?" Charles is saying, when Edwin surfaces from his troubled thoughts. "Couldn’t let them treat you like that. They had you five to one. And that, just ‘cause you’re different. I know how it is.” Charles’ eyelashes are very long, and the light turns his eyes a warm, deep amber as he talks fiercely, insistently, in defense of Edwin.

It’s terribly forward, Edwin thinks. And, despite every misgiving, he welcomes it. No one has ever fought for Edwin before. No one has ever spoken about him with such conviction.

Then Charles seems to lapse into pensiveness. “You didn’t have to…” he says softly. "All this." He gestures, with the free hand Edwin isn’t busy wrapping up, at the little bottle of antiseptic, the scissors, the roll of bandages and the cloths, all spread out on the floorboards between them.

“Of course I did,” Edwin says.

Really, he had not given it much consideration. He had had only the presence of mind to memorize the sight of Charles kneeling in the dew-damp grass, angry gaze still spitting fire at the backs of Edwin’s retreating bullies. He’d had blood in his bared teeth, and the briefest flash of desire had seared through Edwin—to kiss him. Merely in thanks, perhaps, but still, to kiss him.

He would know the warmth of Charles’ mouth. Fleeting, forbidden, it would sear itself into his mind for ever.

Of course, he had done no such thing; for he could not. Instead, he’d done the only thing he could do—bent low towards Charles, and squeezed his shoulder once, as if to say, Wait here for me. I will come back to you.

And as he'd turned on his heel and gone off in the direction of the infirmary, leaving Charles there with dusk encroaching, Edwin had hoped Charles understood his gesture for the indelible promise it was.

Don't worry, I'm not seeing Arthur again. But not only I think you won't be interesting for Afonso I also don't want to see that happen." Luciano knew that Afonso would eat this guy alive. But just the thought of his hands touching him made him mad.

Who was about to get up again until Afonso places a hand on his shoulder.

"Sure!" Says Afonso "Who knows? Maybe you can learn a thing or two about sailing."

"I'm a fast learner." Alfred smirks at Luciano and leaves to go see Arthur. Luciano, visibly angry, turns to Afonso. Who silences him

"you started this."

Luciano had no choice but to swallow his rage. He knew he was right. Fuck.

Afonso caresses his hair.

"I will keep his legs still working" he smiles.

A short display of Portuguese Christmas sweets[1]

Hello! This is very late (but tbh we eat the same stuff on Christmas and New Year's so ig I'm not that late)!!

I wanted to do this because it seems to kinda be in line with my Halloween folklore post and I want to share more stuff with you all! This one I know a little more about because I eat these things every year, but I promise I'll get back into folklore next because that's what interests me most. Please be aware that half of this is from my personal experience and may not be 100% accurate to most other people.

Bolo Rei (trans: King Cake)

This is like, the cake people think of when they think of Christmas. It's some basic dough filled with nuts and sugared fruits. Then, it has more sugared fruit on top (I've tried to find exactly what fruit it is but every recipe just says "fruit" despite it always being very specific colours and the only place I could find that listed what it supposedly was said it was pumpkin and I don't believe it). This cake is inspired by the image of a jewel-incrusted crown and was created to honour the Three Magi. It's said that it was inspired by the French Galette de Rois but I've also seen people say it's similar to Italian Panettone.

Bolo Rainha (trans: Queen Cake)

For the cool kids who don't like the fruit part of Bolo Rei - this one is literally just nuts. This is also supposed to look like a crown but I can't find any source saying what it's supposed to represent, so I think it's just Bolo Rei 2.0. This one wasn't that big of a thing when I was a kid but it's gained a lot of traction in the last 10 or so years.

Pão de Ló (trans: literally "Bread of Ló" / "Ló's Bread", I'll explain in a bit)

There are two versions of this one but I'm gonna talk about dry Pão de Ló first.

This is my personal favourite - literally my favourite cake of all time. I have never met someone who does not have this as their favourite Christmas food. This is a type of sponge cake you eat on both Christmas and Easter, although it seems it was originally just for Easter. This is one of those you absolutely can't make at home unless you're literally crazy because it needs to be baked in a clay mould with sheets of paper and I've heard it requires 24 eggs per cake (tbh seems unrealistic but Portuguese pastry is like 80% eggs so it's not that outlandish, and I'm inclined to believe it bc I've tried like 3 different home-made recipes with normal amounts of eggs and it never tasted right). The origin of the name is basically impossible to find because every source I see claims a different story, but "Ló" seems to be the name of its original creator. Also, this cake was brought to Japan during the Discovery Period and it's allegedly the origin of a Japanese sponge cake named Kasutera.

Kinda like regular Pão de Ló but wet on the inside - the liquid-y part is egg. Its origins seem to be in conventual sweets (like, from a convent), which are known for using lots of eggs. But just like with its dry variant, there are a few different stories about it. Sometimes people argue about which variant is better, but it's really not that divisive. In fact, all the foods in this post often coexist at the Christmas table despite some being similar to each other.

These are much simpler than the cakes. It's basically just fried dough topped with sugar (I've heard that Brazilians call them "chuvinha" aka "little rain" because of this, and I think that's kinda funny because most Portuguese sweets have sugar on top). This is kinda like a "base" because there are other sweets similar to it but with carrot or pumpkin on the inside, and I don't think there's much reason to get into them here - also I don't usually eat them. You can eat them dry or with syrup made with sugar, cinnamon and lemon/orange.

Rabanadas (no clue how to translate this bc google suggests "french toast" and I refuse to accept that)

This is a simple yet effective classic. It was originally made to utilize stale bread people had lying around (I've seen sources suggest it's because bread is sacred to Jesus even if it's stale and so it's bad to waste it). It's made with bread, honey or sugar, milk, and cinnamon, although I've seen people replace the milk and honey with condensed milk. It has been recorded since the 16th century, when it was used partially for medicinal purposes to help people regain their strength, especially after giving birth (which... thematically appropriate but it still surprised me when I found out).

Mulher que acusa o bolsonarista Thiago Brennand por estupro, manteve contato e em enviou mais de 1.500 mensagens a ele

Chrusta Daupzzo, a americana que diz ter sido estuprada pelo empresário bolsonarista, depois do suposto estupro ainda fez sexo com ele seis vezes

A americana Christa Gallagher Dapuzzo, uma das mulheres, que diz ter sido estuprada, inclusive com sexo anal, pelo empresário Thiago Brennand, preso por força de seis mandados de prisão preventiva, após o suposto estupro manteve contato com o acusado, seja por mensagens de whatsapp ou pessoalmente.

Apuração da reportagem encontrou mais de 1.500 mensagens no aplicativo da mulher, que é casada, enviadas a Brennand, ao longo de pelo menos quatro meses.

O empresário Thiago Brennand responde a oito processos que foram movidos por suas supostas v��timas. Nos casos de estupro, a reportagem teve acesso às mensagens de Christa enviadas com insistência ao empresário.Veja no quadro abaixo algumas das mensagens(com tradução juramentada) que Christa enviou a Brennand:

Dessas mensagens, 340 são de cunho romântico, 70 com teor sexual e outras 6 marcando encontros com Brennand. Muitas mensagens são de cunho sexual, com expressões impublicáveis. Outras mensagens manifestam sentimentos de saudade e até de ciúme dos relacionamentos de Brennand com outras mulheres.

Em depoimento, a estrangeira disse que foi estuprada sexualmente de forma violenta e contra a sua vontade. Ela disse que na relação anal que, ficou ferida na região, com sangramento por duas semanas, tudo teria ocorrido em julho de 2021. Além das dores, Christa conta ainda que o sangramento a deixou traumatizada e fez com que ela desenvolvesse crises de ansiedade e paranoia. Os dois se conheceram em junho de 2021 no meio hípico, onde os dois tinham acesso e conhecidos em comum.

MENSAGENS Nas apurações feita pela reportagem, Christa, mesmo acusando o empresário de estupro, inclusive com relação anal como dito, manteve contato com Brennand, através das mensagens e pessoalmente, até o mês de novembro do mesmo ano.

Entre as mensagens está uma em que a mulher chama o acusado para ir à sua casa, pois seu marido estaria em viagem. O detalhe que chama a atenção é que nesta mensagem, Christa pede para que o empresário não vá com sua Ferrari, pois o carro, segundo ela, não oferece espaço confortável para uma relação sexual.

De acordo com as mensagens, o combinado de manter relações dentro do veículo aconteceu para que Scarlett, filha pequena de Christa, não os visse, pois a menor ainda estava acordada O empresário atendeu ao convite de Christa, feito em novembro de 2021 – depois do suposto estupro ocorrido no final de julho de 2021, e vai à sua casa, onde fez até fotos com uma coruja, animal de estimação da mulher. Eles fizeram sexo duas vezes nesta oportunidade, segundo depoimento dado por uma testemunha que estava na casa de Christa, ouvida no processo que corre na 2ª Vara de Porto Feliz-SP. Além das 1553 mensagens, Christa ainda fez 40 ligações telefônicas para Brennand, que simplesmente não atendeu às chamadas. Em outubro de 2021, ela enviou uma mensagem a Brennand pedindo para transar, pois seu marido outra vez havia saído. O Diário de S.Paulo teve acesso com exclusividade a vários documentos, além de vídeos e áudios que podem dar novo rumo às investigações. O processo da americana Christa, por exemplo, está pronto para ser sentenciado. Ela relatou à polícia e à Justiça que foi agredida por Thiago Brennand, além do estupro. A sentença pode sair a qualquer momento.

SANGRAMENTO No processo que Christa moveu contra Thiago Brennand, a mulher fala em agressão física e sexual, tendo inclusive dito que ficou com graves ferimentos no ânus, já que o empresário teria forçado a relação. No entanto, ela não juntou nenhum documento, como laudo de exame de corpo de delito ou qualquer atestado médico que indicasse tais ferimentos e sangramento, apenas seu relato.

"Foi um sangramento do ato, né. Até quando... depois... quando isso aconteceu eu não consegui reagir, que eu achei que eu ia reagir, tipo, tentado lutar, mas simplesmente meu corpo... não sei, entrou num... eu não consegui mexer, aí eu fiquei parada e o sangramento me ajudou a dor que era muito forçada. Então, não tinha nenhuma lubrificação, então o sangue me ajudou. Eu sangrei bastante depois", afirma ela, que diz ter sangrado durante duas semanas. Funcionários de Thiago Brennand, que foram ouvidos, não confirmaram a denúncia da americana. Esses mesmos funcionários não citam em nenhum momento a presença de sangue nas roupas de cama em que Christa teria sido violentada. Eles negam qualquer vestígio de uma cena de estupro. Em depoimentos à Justiça, os funcionários afirmaram que nunca viram atitude violenta de Thiago Brennand com Christa. Uma das funcionárias mais antigas, trabalhando há mais de 10 anos com o empresário, disse que ele "sempre foi carinhoso" com todos.

Apesar disso, ainda em seu depoimento, Christa faz revelações terríveis de como era o tratamento do empresário para com essa funcionária. De acordo com a americana, Thiago a chamava de "macaquinha", obrigava ela a depilar suas áreas íntimas e já chegou a inclusive colocá-la de "castigo". Ele ficava nu, tipo, completamente, na frente dela e ela tinha que depilar tudo na região íntima. Ele claramente fez os testículos dele, coisa assim, mas ela ficava bem... tocando quase, tipo, como se fosse cachorro", inicia ela. "Ele meio que a fazia de escravinha, assim. Ele tratava ela... chamava macaquinha, chamava ela pra buscar água dele todas as noites", contou ela, dizendo que quando a mulher não fazia o que ele pedia, sua reação sempre assustava a todos. "Quando ele começou a estourar, o jeito que ele era, um momento que ela não pegou a ligação dele pra fazer algo, pegar alguma coisa, dar água com gelo, sei lá. Ela não entendeu. Ele falou: "O que você tava fazendo na cozinha?". Eu lembro que ela assustou, falou: "Desculpa, eu tava fazendo sua lavandeira, eu tava lavando as coisas", e ele falou: "Pega uma cadeira aqui, senta aqui, eu vou te chamar quando eu precisar. Você fica nessa cadeira até eu precisar de alguma coisa". E ela pegou a cadeira e sentou", detalha. Christa conta que chegou a perguntar para a empregada o motivo dela ser tratada de tal maneira, no entanto, ela teria apenas respondido: "Christa, às vezes eu nem sei. Não sei o que eu fiz". "Obviamente não foi a primeira vez, o jeito que ela ficou. Chorando numa cadeira com uma criança na escola", finaliza em seu depoimento.

Também em depoimento, a mesma funcionária desmente todas as acusações e descreve sua relação com o patrão de maneira completamente diferente:

"Ele me trata muito bem, sempre me tratou. Não só eu como os outros funcionários também. Sempre me tratou de igual pra igual, nunca... eu nunca tive um patrão que me tratasse tão bem. Então, não tenho nenhuma reclamação a fazer dele", afirmou. Outro ponto que intriga na relação entre os dois é que Christa afirma ter permanecido no relacionamento com Thiago por obrigação, pois, segundo ela, ele ameaçava constantemente, não só a ela, como também ao seu ex-marido. Para não sair do relacionamento com ele, porque se não ele vai destruir a parte da minha vida social e a vida do meu marido. Falando que ele vai mandar meu marido pra espaço, que ele vai atrás dele", acusa ela. No entanto, as mensagens de WhatsApp trocadas entre eles mostram o oposto. Nelas não parece que ela estava em uma relação forçada, já que se mostrava apaixonada, tinha ciúmes de Brennand e sempre tentava agradá-lo.

Em algumas partes das conversas ela afirma: "Estou tentando mostrar que me importo", "Você é adorável", "Sinto falta de carinho", etc. Vale citar ainda que, de acordo com a defesa do empresário, são diversas as conversas tidas entre eles em que é possível verificar a superficialidade de tratamento e que se trata de uma relação casual, demonstrando que ambos nunca tiveram nada sério e que ela não dependia emocional ou financeiramente dele.

ORDEM CRONOLÓGICA Ainda de acordo com o processo, a que o Diário teve acesso, o primeiro contato entre Christa e Thiago teria acontecido em junho de 2021, quando eles se conheceram no meio hípico. No mês seguinte, eles teriam passado seu primeiro final de semana juntos, momento em que - segundo Christa - um alerta havia sido acendido, já que ele teria impedido ela de ir embora. A primeira mensagem trocada entre os amantes aconteceu no dia 7 de julho do mesmo ano. No entanto, o bate-papo não foi muito longo, já que no dia seguinte Thiago resolveu bloqueá-la de seu WhatsApp.

Apesar do início já conturbado, eles não pararam de se ver. Os dois continuaram se encontrando, tiveram conversas sobre um possível relacionamento monogâmico, e, por outro lado, em diversas conversas, Thiago se mostrou decidido em terminar o relacionamento, já que bloqueava a mulher com frequência e afirmava que não queria mais contato.

Apesar disso, já no dia 25 de agosto, o empresário pareceu mudar de ideia, quando mandou uma mensagem para ela, depois de desbloqueá-la. Entre novos bloqueios e conversas sobre a relação entre os dois, já em 17 de outubro, Christa demonstra o interesse de encontrá-lo e afirma estar com saudades. O momento romântico não dura muito e, ainda segundo as mensagens, os dois discutiam com frequência. O principal motivo de reclamação, por parte de Brennand, é que a mulher o estava sufocando ao enviar tantas mensagens e fazer inúmeras ligações.

A partir destes argumentos, a defesa do empresário considera algumas inconsistências insustentável o relato feito por Christa, já que ao mesmo tempo em que parecia estar disposta a manter um relacionamento com Brennand, ela afirma ter vivido situações terríveis ao lado dele - envolvendo agressões de diferentes tipos, inclusive sexuais.

Thiago Antônio Brennand Tavares da Silva Fernandes Vieira é empresário, filho de uma família tradicional de Pernambuco. Ele tem uma mansão avaliada em cerca de R$50 milhões, em Porto Feliz, interior de São Paulo. Criador de cavalos e apaixonado por armas, Brennand mantinha em sua casa um arsenal bélico que chamou a atenção até de policiais acostumados a lidar com armas de grosso calibre e longo alcance.

Ele é filho de um dos fundadores de uma potente rede médica do Recife. Thiago tem 42 anos e é réu em pelo menos oito processos criminais, com pedido de prisão preventiva em seis deles.

Once upon a time, Luci would jump into his arms the moment he got out the ship. He would smile when he was near and cry when he went away.

Those days were over.

"What happened to us?" Afonso said quietly, more to himself than anything else. Luciano heard him, however.
