small hunt, I got very beautiful treasures for the collection. It is quite exciting to go to the tianguis, walk around and find pieces from different periods. The boxed dolls were purchased on Amazon but I bought them for Three Kings Day.

I am very excited about these watercolors to start painting on paper.

I sometimes like looking at prototype plushies or figures online along with defective ones and find some cool or interesting finds.

I'm kind of mad these plushies never went past the prototype stage.

I know sites like aliexpress and similar ones that sell bootleg merch sometimes have prototype plushies to figures or dolls molds that didn't make the cut or just stopped being produced.

I really want all of these if these released their price second hand would be cheaper.

The purple Mattel Popples Scrapped Spinoff Fuzzles plush is the one I really wanted and reminded me of the Baby Dingle youtube video like it could be one of the characters.

the luxe ball was always my favorite because of how many i had of it and how i would always use it to catch pokemon back when i played sword. i also like how its color scheme reminds me of the webkinz king cobra.

Today’s haul from the Washington State Toy Show! My total budget was $150. I don’t think I got any screaming deals, but I did get some wishlist items.

There was an RC Popple I wanted to get but I prioritized Salty and Catrine with the last of my budget. Other highlights include some MIB G3s (including my first one ever, Kimono!) Only thing I didn’t see I was really hoping for was Bratz or Winx dolls.

The Flutterina came from a stall where a guy bought an abandoned barn and went through it. He found someone’s entire G1 collection (they have G. written under a paw or hoof) along with a ton of MIB Transformers. Sigh. The things you wish went to actual collectors…

Some kind soul listed just the top of a Popples shampoo bottle, and I jumped on it. But the original eyes were painted so STARE-y. So I overpainted them a bit.

My paint application is not at all what I envisioned, cause I got it on there all sorts of crooked and poorly shaped BUT I still like it better than the starebear. 🥲

I put her on a Shadow High Pinkie, which is really not at all the right shade to match but I'm past that lil nitpick. I'm just grateful SH comes in so many colors at the moment.

I like Popples a lot but this particular sculpt is not my fave. I've just been wanting one for so long to see more modeled interpretations of the characters. So she feels a little bit creepy-easter-bunny-photo, but she fits with my stuff, what can I say.

Happy Reyes Magos day, it is celebrated once a year on January 6, it is something similar to Christmas and Santa Claus, the Reyes Magos arrive at night to leave gifts. We eat a delicious dried fruit bread and celebrate with the family (inside this bread there is a small plastic baby and if you are lucky that it comes out hehe ... you must make tamales and distribute them to everyone on candlelight day).

it is a tradition with a great history. it is something difficult to explain in another language.

In many parts of Latin America we do not receive gifts from Santa Claus. My mother used to tell me that Santa cannot enter houses that do not have chimneys, but the Reyes Magis take care of that work.
