@ USAmericans that are following me, if you (like me) get anxious you'll somehow have issues with a mail-in or drop-off ballot: I forgot that in a lot of places (here's a site to check!) early in-person voting is an option, so I figured maybe you did too!

Lines are MUCH shorter than election day,

which means it's quick and you have more time to look things up at the voting booth if necessary,

and you have a LOT more ability to find a time that works for you than if you just vote on Nov. 5th (which I would be have been almost completely unable to go out and vote on).

Early voting y'all it kicks ass. A quick google of "early voting (my city/county" immediately brought up the exact address, days and hours of where it was available. Will definitely patronize the fine folks at my local polling center again in four years assuming that. Things go well. And we still have a democracy in four years. OTL

Due to a lot of feedback on the nature of this blog, and how the meme format can come across as insensitive and shameless, I'm considering switching to a news only post format, without the use of the destiel meme. I greatly enjoy sharing information about current events, and would like to continue doing so in some way.

Okay, here is selection of non-SVSSS fics that I have a fair amount of writing for already, which I currently can't pick between casually working on. I want to get at least one of them off the back-burner and OUT of my damn house sometime soon.

First: "The Princess Bride" Canon Divergence AU in which a grieving Buttercup meets Inigo before he starts working for Vizzini and before she's forced to get engaged to the Prince, just because Inigo happens to be drunkenly stumbling around Florin. A surprising amount of chaos ensues immediately, with more to follow when Westley finally gets back from pirating and discovers his True Love is both missing and wanted for murder.

Second: "Naruto" Founders-Era Canon Divergence AU, tentatively titled "On Both Your Houses", in which the warring Senju and Uchiha clans get cursed by a prehistoric demon. Tobirama and Izuna are forced to work together for the survival of their families and they both hate it the entire time. For my friend who once said that this one "Justice League: Unlimited" episode plot would be fun to inflict on these particular characters.

Third: "Merlin" (TV Show) Canon Divergence AU in which Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic by the third episode of the first season (inspired mostly by spite because I don't personally like Identity Shenanigans very much). Arthur and Merlin are forced to face threats like Nimueh's plague and the Black Knight as an actual team, while bickering the entire time, and also face the pain that Uther has caused Camelot.

I won't promise that the winning WIP here will actually get done (I definitely won't promise that all of them will get done), especially anytime soon, but I could use a boost to help my indecision here and inspire me to get a chunk of work done. I'm in a swashbuckling fantasy mood.

Love seeing the half dozen very popular posts here of people doing "the election was stolen" but leftist this time. Guys she lost. She lost by like 5 million votes. This country is just racist and sexist. If your mail in ballot wasn't counted yet it's because it takes days to count them. But even if every single one left was for Kamala it wouldn't be enough to flip the election. Which is why they called it.

Please. We have got to stop the leftist conspiracy theories. People not understanding that it takes days to count mail-in ballots is exactly the basis the Republicans used for their election interference conspiracy in 2020.
