Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford in Lethal Weapon (2016) Best Buds
S1E3
Riggs and Murtaugh follow a violent case involving a drug cartel, theft, two killings and, unfortunately, Murtaugh's old T.O., Ned Brower. As the case unfolds, it turns out that Ned is more involved than just driving the cash, which leaves Murtaugh with an inevitably dangerous decision to make. Looking for back-up, the duo turns to Cruz for help. In the midst of all the chaos, Riggs continues to depend on outside vices, rather than face the reality of Miranda's death, while Murtaugh and Trish struggle to find alone time.
*The driver of the armored truck at the beginning was a character by the name of Ned Brower, played be none other than Ted Levine. This scene plays homage to another movie Ted Levine was in, HEAT (1995) where he was part of a crew that rammed a large truck into the side of an armored truck in order to rob it.

*giggling*
The 141, with help of Nik and a couple friends, are tracking an Anarchist group in the UK. There's been some evidence that they plan on doing something big (and possibly dumb) and that they've gotten their hands on some big weapons.
Theyre just scouting out the base of operations of these guys, just gathering intel.
Price points out one particular guy: big, beefy blonde guy with a thick Scottish accent and very punk grunge aesthetic.
"Must be the ringleader" the captain says and it seems to be true. Everyone watches this guy with curiosity when Soap gasps lightly
"No fucking way" Soap says
"What?"
"He's my fucking ex" Soap replies, shocked and a bit embarrassed in all honesty.
Now I'm just picturing all of them turning to give Soap A Look
Gaz just shakes his head and goes "you have incredibly questionable taste in men"
To which Nik asks Ghost "not offended?"
Ghost: "I've learned the truth hurts sometimes."

something i noticed is that whenever crowley and aziraphale do have physical touch it’s always ( ? ) aziraphale initiating it . it’s aziraphale who occasionally puts his hand on crowley’s chest , arm , back , whatever to guide him . it’s aziraphale resting his hand on crowley’s arm to tell him something . it’s aziraphale took crowley’s hand to dance , something crowley would have never done otherwise . but the kiss . that is the first time crowley has been the one to initiate physical contact . the first time . and as far as he knows , the last .

The idea that uni protesters are "elitist ivy-league rich kids larping as revolutionaries" on Twitter and Reddit and even here is so fucking funny to me if you actually know anything about the student bodies at these unis. Take it from someone who's going to one of the biggest private unis in the US, 80% of the peers I know are either from the suburbs or an apartment somewhere in America, children of immigrants, or here on a student visa. I've heard about one-percenter students, but I've never met one in person. Like, don't get me wrong, the institution as a whole is still very privileged and white. I've talked with friends and classmates about feeling weird or dissonant being here and coming from such a different background. But in my art program, I see BIPOC, disabled, queer, lower-income students and faculty trying to deconstruct and tear that down and make space every day. So to take a cursory glance at a crowd of student protesters in coalitions that are led by BIPOC & 1st/2nd-gen immigrant students and HQ'd in ethnic housings and student organizations and say, "ah. children of the elite." Get real.
#also idk how to tell you this but even if it were true. wealthy children potentially sacrificing their educational careers to protest is#a good thing actually. idk how to tell you that caring about people from other nations is good#personal#“this war has nothing to do with most students cuz nobody's getting drafted” idk how to explain to you that we should be angry#that our tuitions of 10s of thousands of dollars that we pay every year for an education is being used to fund a genocidal campaign#also the implication that if you go to a uni institution you are automatically privileged by participation no matter your bg#i didn't /want/ to go to this school. i was supposed to go to a school with an art/animation program. but i realized my immigrant#parents have been working their whole lives to get me here. and turning the opportunity down would be a disservice to their sacrifice#this is getting into convos of “what 2nd gen kids owe their parents” which is different for everyone but. yeah#i just get pissed off at seeing people misrepresenting student bodies as “wealthy” and “privileged” and “elite” when it's such a blatant li#i remember a year ago a friend told me they can't fly home to hong kong for winter break because the plane tickets are too expensive#so they have to find temporary housing around the area#last quarter for a film doc class my film partner made a doc on a small group of marxist grad students from india discussing praxis#during a rally a few months ago in response to police presence the coalition invited palestinian students to speak about their experiences#and lead songs and read poems they wrote. these are STUDENTS. are they elitist too?#this is not to disregard my own personal privilege either.#this whole narrative's just to rationalize a lack of empathy to me. seeing a 19yo student get shot by a rubber bullet and your first#reaction is “HAW! HAW! bet richy rich didn't see THAT coming when she put on her terrorist hood!”#newsflash. these big uni campuses are HAUNTED by the violence of past protests and revolutions and police brutality. we know.#why do you think these coalitions have been making reinforced barricades at record speed

When Professor Layton and The Miracle Mask was released, everybody was so focused on Randall/Layton and Randall/Henry that they didn't notice the toxic yaoi couple right in front of them.
Tumblr media
Narcisse and Frankie. Or Conner and Frankie if you played the US version.
(Now before we get started, I just want to clarify that this is not a healthy couple. Narcisse treats Frankie terribly and they bring out the absolute worst in one another.)
When we first meet Frankie and Narcisse, they are trying to con Layton and company. Narcisse immediately destroys the straight allegations by saying this to Frankie:
Tumblr media
From this interaction we find out that Narcisse clearly does not want to be seen in public with Frankie and their relationship is a well guarded secret. At least, by Narcisse. Frankie is not so good at pretending.
Narcisse also says weird homoerotic stuff about his fingers.
Tumblr media
So Narcisse treats Frankie like a dog and talks about men losing themselves in his fingers. They must get up to some wild shit in the bedroom.
After they are called out, they immediately start bickering like a married couple.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second time we meet Frankie and Narcisse, Narcisse still acts like he doesn't know Frankie. Things go the same way with the pair bickering and Frankie storming off.
Later on, we see Narcisse and Frankie. Sharing a hotel room. With only one bed. Interesting.
Tumblr media
Frankie calls Narcisse by a nickname, Narc. That's pretty sweet.
Tumblr media
And even Narcisse shows a softer side to Frankie when they're alone.
Tumblr media
Wait, never mind...
Tumblr media
From the way things are heating up, they're either going to make out or break up. It could go either way.
Unfortunately, neither of these things happen because at that moment Layton unexpectedly bursts in and starts looking through their stuff.
Tumblr media
Layton is completely oblivious to how impolite and weird it is to just enter a stranger's hotel room and start looking around.
Frankie and Narcisse are both clearly uncomfortable and annoyed at being interrupted.
Frankie: *panicking* Oh God, he knows about the stolen stuff we're hiding!
Narcisse: *panicking* Oh God, he knows I'm sleeping with someone way below my league!
Thank Goodness Layton didn't show up ten minutes later or he would have witnessed Narcisse putting his dexterous digits to good use.
The last time we see Narcisse and Frankie is during the end credits. They are together, so it seems they didn't go their sperate ways after all.
Either Narcisse needs to start appreciating Frankie, or Frankie needs to find a new man. Or woman. He canonically has a crush on Angela so either is fine.

Walter Hartwell White (Breaking Bad) is an Anime Girl!
#my name is walter hartwell white. i live at 308 negra arroyo lane albuquerque new mexico 87104. this is my confession. if youre watching thi#s tape im probably dead. murdered by my brother in law hank schrader. hank has been building a meth empire for over a year and using me as#is chemist. shortly after my 50th birthday hank came to me with a rather shocking proposition. he asked that i use my chemistry knowledge t#cook methamphetamine which he would then sell using his connections in the drug world. connections that he made through his career with the#DEA. i was... astounded. i always thought that hank was a very moral man and i was thrown. confused. but i was also particularily vulner#able at the time. something he knew and took advantage of. i was reeling from a cancer diagnosis that was poised to bankrupt my family. han#took me on a ride along and showed me just how much money even a small meth operation could make. and i was weak. i didnt want my family to#go into financial ruin so i agreed. every day i think back at that moment with regret. i quickly realized that i was in way over my head an#hank had a partner. a man named gustavo fring. a business man. hank essentially sold me into servitude to this man and when i tried to quit#fring threatened my family. i didnt know where to turn. eventually hank and fring had a falling out. from what i can gather hank was always#pushing for a greater share of the business to which fring flatly refused to give him and things escalated. fring was able to arrange uh i#uess you could call it a hit. on my brother in law. and failed but hank was seriously injured. and i ended up paying his medical bills whic#amounted to a little over 177000. upon recovery hank was bent on revenge working with a man named hector salamanca. he plotted to kill frin#and did so. in fact the bomb that he used was built by me and he gave me no option in it. i have often contemplated suicide but i am a cowa#d. i wanted to go to the police but i was frightened. hank had risen in the ranks to become head of the DEA and about that time to keep me#n line he took my children. for 3 months he kept them.my wife who up until that point had no idea of my criminal activities was horrified t#learn what i had done. why hank had taken our children. we were scared. i was in hell i hated myself for what i had brought upon my family.#recently i tried once again to quit to end this nightmare and in response he gave me this. i cant take this anymore. i live in fear every#ay that hank will kill me or worse hurt my family. i... all i could think to do was make this video in hope that the world will finally see#this man for what he really is.#breaking bad#walter white#your fave is an anime girl#your fave is#hall of fame

i need a fic of soap bringing ghost home to his family for the holidays. his family’s always disapproved of everything; being queer, being in the military, being with ghost and it’s all over not a great time but they’re trying to pretend for the sake of the holiday. they get into it after dinner one night though and for once soap isn’t backing down, not when it’s ghost they’re attacking, when the power suddenly goes out. soap moves just in time for a shot to come through the window and he orders his family to get down
graves and what’s left of shadow company followed them to glasgow; it’s the first time they’ve been away from the 141 and they think it’ll be their best chance to take them out. johnny and simon are left behind as they become soap and ghost and soap’s childhood home becomes a battleground, his hysterical family who still think he can’t be that good of a soldier now civilians that he has to protect and get out in one piece

Police fatally shoot Black woman who called 911 for domestic violence | Los Angeles | The Guardian
A Los Angeles county sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a 27-year-old woman who had called 911 to report that she was under attack by a former boyfriend, police officials and lawyers for the victim’s family said on Thursday. Records show the deputy had killed another person in similar circumstances three years ago.

T/W femicide, domestic violence, death
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dora Howell filed her lawsuit in 2011, where she described in painstaking detail the abuse she suffered at the hands of an ex-boyfriend beginning in 2008.
She stated that police violated the Domestic Violence Intervention Act by not arresting Andre Gaskin, against whom Howell had EIGHT orders of protection.
Dora first reported abuse at the hands of Andre Gaskin in 2008 when she was pregnant with their child. She lived on the floor below him in a building in Brooklyn.
She stated that he threw her to the floor and kicked her stomach, causing her to bleed and require hospitalization.
In response, Howell filed an order of protection against Gaskin.
Between September and November 2008, Dora called the police NINE times to say that Gaskin was violating that order by contacting her, showing up at her door and assaulting her.
Each time police arrived, Dora would show them the order of protection.
Instead of arresting Gaskin, police would say they would remove him from the premises; yet each time they allowed him to go back to his apartment upstairs.
One night, Andre Gaskin used a metal pipe to bang on Dora Howell’s door, breaking the lock in an attempt to force his way inside.
Instead of arresting Gaskin, police asked Howell, “Why don’t you move? Why don’t you go stay somewhere else if this keeps happening?”— and made demands, saying they’d arrest Howell if she called them again.
Weeks later, Dora called police several times to report that Andre Gaskin was breaking the protective order.
On the first occasion, Officers Mosely-Lawrence and Meran responded and waited until Gaskins uncle picked him up.
The following morning, as Dora was about to enter her apartment, she heard Gaskin inside.
Gaskin was speaking on the phone in Howell’s apartment, arranging for someone to assault and rob her.
Dora recorded him through the door, left the building, and called 911 from outside, explaining what she had overheard and recorded.
According to Dora, Gaskin’s uncle “is something . . . I don’t know if he’s a detective.” Dora testified that the uncle came around “all the time,” always dressed in a suit, was known to the responding officers, and that Gaskin was treated specially because the officers knew his uncle and treated him deferentially.
According to court documents, officers have not disputed those facts.
A week later, Andre Gaskin dragged Dora Howell by her hair up the stairs and into his apartment.
There, he physically assaulted her.
When she went to the window to yell for police to help, Gaskin said, “You want help? I’ll send you for help,”before throwing her outside of his THIRD floor apartment window.
Tumblr media
When Andre Gaskin threw Dora Howell out of his third floor apartment building, she landed on a wheelchair ramp leading to her building.
Her knee, pelvis and hip were broken, and her spine was fractured.
She stayed in the hospital for over a month, undergoing multiple surgeries.
Dora Howell sued the city and the two officers alleging negligence in 2011. The state Supreme Court ordered the city to produce the officers for deposition THREE times, each time they failed to comply with the courts order.
Instead, in 2012 they filed to dismiss the complaint.
In August 2009, Andre Gaskin was arrested for the assault and for his violations of the orders of protection. He pleaded guilty to charges of assault and criminal contempt in April 2010.
