So I'm assuming Saw II is set around release in 2005 - leaving room between Saw in 2001 (according to the phone) and it for the events of Mexico and Saw X

Daniel is about 16/17 in Saw II if I remember the script correctly

I'm assuming Spiral is set in 'modern day' - about 2021 when it came out

So Daniel would be about 32/33 - roughly the same age as William Schenk (Max Minghella was mid 30s at the time of release)

All this to say, I keep thinking of an AU where they end up meeting in college or something - bonding over the loss of their fathers, their hatred of cops and their fascinations with Jigsaw

And they decide to enter a partnership to seek justice from the police force who took so much from them both.
