in October 1996, Bandai released the first set of Pokemon Kids, a series of soft vinyl finger puppet figures that were mostly released in Japan [although there were some special releases in Europe and Australia]. each toy comes packaged in a box with a collectible card as well as a piece of candy. there were special clear figures that could be found as secret variants up until the release of the B/W figures.

depicted above are the 8 figures that were in the first set, which, unlike the Pokemon Kids figures manufactured today, were released in a blind box.

Hello friends I’m Enya and I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2015. Unfortunately I have been losing the battle of my mobility for some time. It has come to the point I struggle to walk even short distances without severe sharp radiating pains. I also experiencing these painful sensations in my right arm. I am asking the community today to help me purchase a motorized wheelchair to not only greatly improve my quality of life but also help regain some sense of my independence. It’d probably be around 10/15 years now, though, realistically I’ve been drawing for all 22 years of my life, but I guess I started taking it like more “seriously” when I was like 8ish and really into pokemon. Fun fact: gravity falls was what got me really interested in animation! Here’s a redraw of an old thing I drew too :)
