As a special thank you for all the support you have given me, and because today is my birthday, here is the long awaited and anticipated Monochrome Perish Mix with Lyrics. Now remastered to fit into the Connected Cartridges AU! 🎉��🎁🎁

Here are some headcanons for this interpretation of Lost Silver! Gold:

Unlike Canon FNF Lullaby! Gold, who is confirmed to be long gone at the time of Monochrome, this interpretation has Gold/Ethan’s soul being tethered to his corpse of a body by the Unown out of sympathy for the poor boy after his fate after Frostbite.

The Unown in this AU act similar to the Watcher from Marvel’s What If. They are the keepers of the strings that connect the cartridges of every character in the mod, as they’re some of the most powerful of Arceus’ creations, but aren’t malevolent. That falls to the White Hands that follow Buried Alive.

The Unown in this AU can take full control of Gold if the situation calls for it (…or someone gets on their nerves enough) but Gold normally has control, with the Unown puppeteering him around.

The Unown can see into the different worlds and poor Gold was forced to see all these different kids suffer dark fates with some, like Ingrained! May, having eerily similar circumstances.

Gold and the Unown are part of the main group/found family that this AU mainly follows (the others being Glitchy Red, Hell Bell! Dawn and the Bootleg Sibling duo Grey and Shinto). Gold is Dawn’s therapy friend.

Sometimes, the others have him in a wheelchair and Gold doesn’t really mind it. It makes him feel a little special…

I feel evil for doing this (so evil I become one with the Dark-type so Psychic-types such as the Neo Swords or Ailey the Lunala can’t detect me anymore so they didn’t know I was about to poison them) but I worked out (through the internet) how to make 1 star sandwiches

Basically all six ingredient slots are filled with prosciutto and all four seasoning slots are filled with mayonnaise. I’m sure prosciutto and mayo is a great combo JUST NOT IN THOSE QUANTITIES

While I'm still riding the Xenoblade X hyperfixation, let me just use it to talk gender identity some more.

Between deciding on my current Cross design back during last December and where I am now (i.e. feeling that I'm probably a Woman But A Bit To The Side), I initially did have the plan of just switch between the male design and the female one. But even though I kept those two looking as close to each other as possible, there was always something that I didn't quite like about the male one on a very basic level, and something that I just couldn't put my finger on, let alone fix. Somewhere down the line, I decided to also make myself smaller builds for both, as an alternative to switch to. So, "Young Boy" instead of "Boy", and "Girl" instead of "Woman". For the female Cross, that worked out well enough, and I still have the design I came up with for that saved in-game, even if I have taken no screenshots. But with the male Cross? For the life of me, I could not put together a design that I even remotely liked. Absolutely nothing felt right, even though on principle, I guess I preferred the younger looking face over my actual "main" male Cross (which even then, I almost never used). In the end, I just gave up that whole design process entirely. I guess that only really serves to show that I'm really not off in my current self-perception. . .

The Player characters, redesigned

The girl is Lily, the boy is Colm and the third option is Alex who is nonbinary.

They will be 11 years old at the start of the game and 12-13 by the end

If you choose Lily, Colm will be your older brother by two years (3rd-4th Year) and Alex your younger sibling.

If you choose Colm, Lily will be your older sister (3rd-4th Year) by two years and Alex your younger sibling.

If you choose Alex, both Colm and Lily will be your older siblings (3rd-4th Years).

Each will have a plethora of dialogue options that would change depending on previous choices.

To really change things from the typical Pokemon gameplay formula, I imagine there to be nine different personality types the character can choose from, all based on the Alignments from Dungeons and Dragons.

The ending would change a bit depending on your options.

So I recently got a hold of a copy of Pokemon Legends Arceus AND been playing the ttg Pokemon Legends of Sinnoh on Tabletop Simulator and needless to say I have some outfit design thoughts about the two games...

I'm just saying if Arceus speaks like some kind of fake Old English their 'chosen one' might as well look the part. Although I do like the diamond clan's little hoodies.

(first outfit inspired by the Diamond Clan of Legends Arceus but with Dialga colours, second outfit was me looking at Volo's handmade Arceus outfit and saying "I could do better".)

In my hypothetical Pokémon game, Pokemon Charm and Curse, these two are the default appearances of the Player characters.

I named them after a set of twins from By the Grace of the Gods.

There’s supposed to be a non-binary third option called Chris too, I just haven’t gotten around to drawing them yet.

Their robes are grey because they haven’t been Sorted yet.

I think they’d be the first official redhead Players of the series, but you’d be able to change that if you wanted to of course.

Like in most Pokemon games, you’d start out as an eleven-year-old child, but the game(s) is supposed to take you through all seven years at New Hogwarts so unlike in most Pokemon games, you’ll be able to watch your character grow up.

Y’know I'm sure shinies used to mean something. Now we’re just getting them for free as long as we have some random Stellar Tera type Ice-type Alolan form from the other version because we happened to play during some version exclusives Mass Outbreak event that we decided to Mark hunt for the funsies with a move boosting its dominant offensive stat (this is a joke btw. If I can have a free shiny, I’ll take it. Equally if it’s shiny-locked, I won’t complain)

Anyway that took me two attempts in each version. That’s four attempts overall. Blueberry the Walking Wake and Cherry the Iron Leaves took way more attempts each (I’ll admit I didn’t count them but they were definitely both over 4) so I’m not sure if they were just stronger than Rayquaza, had more optimised movesets (in which case I may regret changing them), Sandslash the Early Riser and Ninetales the Kindhearted are stronger than Dough the Reliable Partner and Char the Reliable Partner or I’ve just got better at planning for *laughs* 5-Star Tera Raid battles (okay it’s the last option). And turns out two of Ninetales’s moves were useless anyway because her ability sets up Snow meaning there isn’t much reason to use Snowscape until later on when I’m more focused on dealing damage and boosting damage output if that’s not good enough anyway and as for Misty Terrain - I kinda added it to her moveset thinking it could decrease the damage we receive from Rayquaza’s Dragon-type moves… forgetting that the reason an Alolan Ninetales is such a good idea in this raid is because its immune to the Dragon type. In both version there was one move I used in my first attempt and then didn’t use at all in my second. Strangely in Scarlet that move was Iron Defense, which is strange because it reduces damage from Earthquake, which Sandslash is weak to although I don’t remember using Metal Claw in the second attempt either. Second attempt was just me spamming Triple Axel (which at one point early on for some reason only hit once when it should have hit three times) and boosting it with Swords Dance when necessary. In Violet it was Misty Terrain I didn’t use Snowscape either time. I realised it was redundant pretty quickly but just forgot to change her moveset in between attempts. Or maybe I didn’t plan to change it because I decided just spamming Aurora Beam with the odd Nasty Plot was a good idea and I didn’t need any other moves. Anyway, since this took two attempts in each version I have screenshots of their titles being active in the first attempts after they fainted while Terastalised
