actually, because i can't communicate with comet in a language we both understand, i don't actually know what gender comet is. like, latigender is something that i think is probably inherently incomprehensible to humans anyway because like... we're not psychic nomad fisher dragons. like, there's no telling what they've got going on gender-wise.
