So yeah we lied here's noviary attraction(link) flags and a symbol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The colors are taken from this image(link), and mixed with the combined inverted colors of these physical and emotional attraction flags(link), this cerebral/intellectual attraction flag, and this social attraction flag (it's worth noting that there are probably other attraction umbrellas that could be considered non-noviary, however we just used those four inverted for the flag). The symbol is supposed to look like a stylized pulsar or quasar
In terms of meaning,
black is for the aspec community, as though allo folks can use noviary labels, they are more commonly used by aspecs.
red/pink are for the attraction itself.
very light purple is for attraction labels that are both noviary and non-noviary at the same time, meaning that the label can partial but not fully be sorted into more conventional attraction umbrellas. Or combination labels
dark purple and blue are for self discovery and learning what one does and does not want in relationship(of any kind)
And without the symbol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ultimately we think it's fine to use the tertiary attraction flag with the term noviary attraction. We just want to make flag that was less tied to the concept of being specifically not romantic and not sexual attraction.

Actually we may make a flag for this because the meaning behind the colors of the tertiary attraction flag are "from alterous, queerplatonic, platonic, aesthetic, and sensual flags, the most known non-romantic non-sexual attractions". And that doesn't really fit with noviary attraction, because it isn't inherently about non-romantic non-sexual attraction
An alternative term to "tertiary attraction",
"Noviary attraction"
So we think of tertiary attraction as being forms of attraction that do not fall under the typical category of emotional and physical, rather than tertiary referring to Non-rose(fragarian) attraction.
The thing is we also think cerebral/intellectual attraction should be considered a third category to emotional and physical without it being tertiary attraction. So the word tertiary wouldn't make sense, because it's not a third category anymore it would be a fourth, which like yeah the alternate could be "quartiary attraction". But we could also see an argument for social attraction being considered separate than emotional and cerebral/intellectual attraction so it just becomes this endless cycle of oh well since it's not this number it should be the next.
So that's why we came up with this alternative term for tertiary attraction. Nov- means new, although it is not only intended to be used for new attraction labels. We coined it specifically with the, for lack of a better, term "xenogender-like" attraction labels in mind, as they can't be sorted into traditional categories, but it isn't exclusively for those(for example fluitic attraction would also be under this category)
there's no flag because it's an alternative term, so it can be applied to to tertiary attraction flag

oh the constricted societally imposed gender flag and the inconsistent societally imposed gender flag are making me cry /pos
i did not expect to cry today
Honestly you saying that actually made us tear up a bit too(also in a good way). It's good to hear that what we make has an affect(/effect? we always get those confused lol) on others :']

Hello, thank you so much for your work on the Constricted SIG flag so far. I would like to make a couple of changes. I like the purple idea, and I think adding the Black and white with the additional blue and pink just made the flag overstimulating for me (I'm disabled). I tried to make a mock up of what the final Constricted SIG flag I would like could look like. Could you please polish it up for me as I appreciate your artistry (/pos)?
I do like your blue and pink additions, so I would love to propose that the Inconsistent SIG and Consistent SIG flags use the work you've already made so far.
For the Inconsistent SIG:
Brown (same meaning as the Constricted SIG flag)
medium pink (same meaning as in your response)
dark pink (same meaning as in your response)
purple (same meaning as in your response)
dark blue (same meaning as in your response)
medium blue (same meaning as in your response)
brown (same meaning as the Constricted SIG flag)
have the Uranus Planetary symbol that's the same with the Constricted SIG
For the Consistent SIG:
light pink (same meaning as in your response)
medium pink (same meaning as in your response)
dark pink (same meaning as in your response)
white (same meaning as in your response)
light blue (same meaning as in your response)
medium blue (same meaning as in your response)
dark blue (same meaning as in your response)
No symbol on this flag (this is because the gender is so consistent that it "can just be assumed" if that makes sense?)
Thank you so much and feel free to message me if you have any questions or anything!! :)

Constricted Socially Imposed Gender (link) flag
A term that describes an intersex person who has a socially imposed gender that is constricted, when those constrictions do not exist for perisex peers. These constrictions are enforced as a double standard.
@sorennahi's color and symbol meanings
- Brown: for being shaped by the environment, family, and tradition. This is specifically meant for intersex BIPOC trying to emerge from deep cultural or family scrutiny on top of everything else faced
- Red: for internal battles, anger at injustice, strength forged through our blood, sweat, and tears
- Olive Green: for measured strength and learned adaptability and for remaining grounded throughout the endured scrunity
- Indigo: for being deeply spiritual and introspective, self-questioning and trying to reconcile the inner truth with the external perception
The Herschel monogram Uranus planetary symbol as it came to one in a dream. Despite Uranus being the only planet that spins on its side, it doesn't disqualify it from being a planet, and that really resonates with it as an intersex person.
Our additions; purple for imposition of gender, and those who experience inconsistent-constricted social imposition and gender qualities. Gold is self determination of identity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Inconsistent Socially Imposed Gender flag
Brown has the same meaning as above. Pinks represent imposition of womanhood/girlhood and femininity and blues represent imposition of manhood/boyhood and masculinity. Purple is for inconsistency of imposed gender. Gold same as above
Tumblr media
Consistent Socially Imposed Gender flag
Pinks represent imposition of womanhood/girlhood and femininity, white represents the division of gendered expectations, and blues represent imposition of manhood/boyhood and masculinity

General Relationship flags. Literally just because we needed them for a flowchart
Top flags are base on this partnering / partnered flag(link) and this friending/friended (link). While in the context of the flags that inspired it the format of the top flag is used to represent the desire or practice of having a certain relationship type, the format has also been using for relationship types themselves. For example this Lavender Relationship flag (link) and this acquaintanceship flag (link). So the top flags can be used to represent either/both desire or practice of having/engaging in relationships, or the concept of relationships themselves.
Bottom flags are based on @/flagtism's relationship type flags, so they specifically represent the concept of relationships themselves.
These are for any kind of relationship, and though we just made them for a flowchart, we could see them being useful for those who do not like to label their relationships beyond just the word "relationship"
In terms of design, the dark red is from these general relationship stances flags (link), the rainbow represents the spectrum of relationship types, and the molecule, which is from this website(link), represent social bonds.

Subsystem role flag templates! Left is for mostly internal roles (most holders for example), middle is for role that are both internal and external or can't be sorted into internal vs external, and right is for external roles (host and many skills based roles)
These are for when most/all of a whole subsystem has a specific role. For example our subsystem "The Black Parade" collectively fills the role of the archsystem's primary host(s). And "The Tuneless Choir" holds BPD symptoms/traits, even through each alter in that subsystem presents BPD symptoms/traits differently from each other, they still collectively hold BPD symptoms.

Alternative Analterous Spectrum flag
we found the pre-existing analtspec flags to be a bit same-y design wise, so I made my own.
It uses modified versions of the inverted colors of the alterous attraction flag, as well as taking inspiration from this aplspec flag and this arospec flag

Full sized Raspberrysexual(left)聽and Lemonsexual(right) flags
Raspberrysexual was coined on pinterest in this post(link), and Lemonsexual was coined on pinterest in this post(link). They were both coined by H3ll3n1cP0lyth31sm1sC00l and lostcat133. We wanted to make higher resolution version of the flags
For archival purposes:
Raspberrysexual is defined as "attraction to women, feminine and/or androgynous genders, while experiencing rare lithosexual attraction to men and/or masculine genders"
Lemonsexual is defined as "attraction to men, masculine and/or androgynous genders, while experiencing rare lithosexual attraction to women and/or feminine genders"
They are based on berrysexual and almondsexual, so it is safe to assume they include attraction to neutral aligned genders as well
lithosexual is defined "as experiencing聽sexual attraction聽but does not want it reciprocated. This is the opposite of聽reciprosexual聽that is only developing sexual attraction if it's reciprocated" (link)

ASD Levels Pride Flags
PT: ASD Levels Pride Flags /end PT
Colors taken from my autism support needs flags (link), while the nautilus comes from @ipso-faculty's autism pride flags (link).
Althought ASD levels and supports needs aren't strickly the same concepts, they're often used interchangably and they're often directly linked, ence why I've choosen the colors of the autism support needs flags as a base.
In @ipso-faculty's flag the shell symbolises plural ideas: stylised verson of the Autism Spectrum Wheel, a fractal-like pattern that reminds the infinity symbols and a representation of our autistic metaphorical shells.
I've kept the same ideas in the design. Though, in addition, the different shades are linking each levels together, to highlight that they're diverse, complex yet an interconnected continuum.

OCPD subtype flags
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Conscientious(first), Puritanical(second), Bureaucratic(third), Parsimonious(fourth), and Bedevilled(fifth) OCPD Millon subtype flags. Flags on the left use the OCPD flag we made(link), flags on the right use this one (link).
Here's a link to a post explaining Millon's proposed five OCPD subtypes(link) (fair warning the way Millon writes about PwPDs is rather judgment and ableist as times)
In terms of color choice we partially went with colors based on the flags of the other disorder each subtype has traits of; conscientious-DPD, Puritanical-PPD, Bureaucratic-NPD, Parsimonious-SzPD. We couldn't do that for Bedevilled, because it is described as having traits of negativistic personality disorder, which isn't a diagnosis any more, so there's no flag for it. So instead we took colors from the negative affectivity PD-TS flag we made, and BPD flags because the description of bedevilled OCPD seems reminiscent of BPD to us(specifically the "They are in a constant battle between their desires and will, and may engage in self-defeating behavior and self-torture in order to resolve the internal conflict. Their identity is unstable, and they are indecisive." part).
Here's versions of the flags without the symbols
