At some point we all realize that the single, most relevant commodity we have is TIMS. It is not ours to trade, barter, or create more of. What do we with it? Where do we spend it? Who do we spend it with? How little of it do we have? Many think it is measured by dividing years, into months, into weeks, into days, into hours, into minutes, into seconds. But the truth is, it's measurement lies in our memories. It is the quality of those memories which will really determine how much time has passed, how much we have lost and how much we have gained. We simply will not remember things that weren't a use of quality time. They are soon to be forgotten. They will fade like bright colors on a new set of clothes and eventually get shuffled into the recesses of our minds. And what defines "quality time". That is the question we must answer for ourselves. Happy Monday. Sometimes I get flack about Fitness stuff I post, I know we all do (we shall dub them #haters ) but those people miss the entire purpose behind why I even have a page and the purpose of any of this - to #inspire myself and others - some are too focused on "who I think I am" or "who they think I am" -then other times I get letters like this... The real reason I post any of this stuff. FYI - I'm not where I want to be, but I'll be damned if this isn't #motivation I needed 2 help get there. See below: "Hey, I don't even know if u read these, but I thought it'd be worth a try. I know ur mainly known for ur Speaking and ur Music but once in awhile I see u post pics of ur fitnes progress and that shit actually means a lot to me. I know to most people it's whatever but for me - I saw some of ur old videos and saw u were heavier. What was your heaviest? I grew up really overweight and never thought I could actually change that, till now. I signed up with a trainer and have made some progress and I know it takes time, but it helps when I see others pushing- specially if I get a chance to see the stages they went through, so post more! lol jk thanks for reading. Growing up I would always get mad at mom for "ruining my diet" - secretly the glorious army of fat inside me loved when she made #cutlet or #ghormehsabzi or #tachin with #tadiq (if you are not familiar with those dishes - it is like similar to never having seen the #sun lol - it's that good. Ergo this night where mom made #chocolatechipcookies and with some of that #kush #sadaf #persiantea - you will only hear me sing #coolio #gangstersparadise when the food is soooo good I feel like I've been spending most my life....
