#damien.txt #my taste is literature is good & i re-radicalize myself every time i read thru the stuff i put it #if you dont know what a commonplace book is: it's basically a little journal where you put like. quotes or sections of lit/poetry/etc #also can be used for little jotted down notes or thoughts #i wrote some stuff from a talk abt eclipses i went to & wrote some stuff abt pastoralism #but a lot of what i have is excerpts and they be hitting #and idk it kind of fucks being able to like. see what i was reading at a time. seeing what was Hitting for ke #often it still hits. probably because i've only been doing it for like 4 months lmao but still #idk it's just cool. it's almost like a little reminder of why i like literature that i can keep in my pocket

Wrote into my first Field Notes yesterday night! Numbered 2.5 since I'm still using the little numbered 2 book I stitched together.

I just can't stop fondling the paper and flipping the empty pages..! Beautiful gorgeous, really tempted to bite into the corner and taste, but I am not a teething baby.

Thanks to Michiganology for having the Harvest edition in stock, I'll have to drive up some day. They had a cool magnet I couldn't resist. $2 trout? $2 stamp? Shrug. I liked the drawing so I drew it too.

Everytime I look at the Blance et Noir book on eBay I remember the time in like 2020 when I saw someone selling the whole Death Box for like $99 USD and I Didn't Have Money cuz I was still in college with no job. And now it's, like, minimum $400cad for the death box set or $150-200cad just for the book and I just 😔😔😔😔😔 could have been me.... But it was not....
