All the memories stay

VADA CAVELL X READER
A.N.: So, this is actually my first time writing something like this, hope you like it and enjoy it. Also, everything will be narrated from Vada's point of view. Warnings: Angst, not a happy ending, possible grammar mistakes (English isn't my first language).
Inspired by the song "Everything Stays" from Adventure Time.
Vada's POV
It’s crazy how someone can change your life with just one smile…one smile, that’s all it takes to make someone feel safe, for me that person was Y/N.
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ It was the first day of classes, during break time in the cafeteria. - Hi! Can I sit here? - She approached me with a vibrant and charming way of being, I was confused about it, no one really paid me that much mind or ever asked me that, my only friend has ever been my buddy Nick, who sadly couldn’t be here at the moment cause he was with on a vacations trip with his family for another two days.
- Ah…sure? - I was shocked by it, probably my face showed even more than my actual voice cause she just laughed and sat at the table, right in front of me. That gave me a chance to look at her more directly, but before I could even form an idea about the type of girl she might be, she spoke again.
- My name is Y/N, I’m new so I’ve just been trying to check out the place and find someone interesting to talk to, I also like your shirt. -
- I’m Vada - I said, and she smiled.
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
That was the first time she talked to me, and suddenly a conversation started, she was nice…made me laugh, and intrigued me at the same time, but soon things started going in another direction.
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
- Okay, so here is the question, would you rather be with someone who looks like your friend’s mom or someone that has the same age as her? - It was a Friday, a casual day after classes letting the weekend soon start and take us away for rest after a long week of exams. Y/N, Nick, and I were just at the beach with some slushies from 7/11 and doing dumb stuff as we normally did.
- Why do all your questions always have to do with moms? Is this your way of telling me you like mine? - Nick joked around and Y/N laughed at it, those were the moments I truly loved, cause we were just being teenagers, having fun, and enjoying our time together.
- Who wouldn’t? - Said then Y/N and Nick hit her in the arm soon after finishing her sentence - Hey! Hey! I’m joking! - We all laughed and she then spoke again - Hmm, well…I think I will go for someone who is the same age as her. I mean, what if one day she sees my girlfriend and then finds out that it actually is her long-lost daughter who wanted to get closer to her so she used me instead? Plus, older women are way hot and mature.
- Yeah, cause an adult woman would sure put her eyes on someone so immature and crazy as you - I said with sarcasm and she then smiled back at me.
- Hey! I think I am very charming and would totally be able to get with an older woman - She tried to defend herself.
- If you end up doing that, do you think you could find me a sugar daddy? Gotta take care of my hair and good looks.
We all soon started laughing at Nick’s remark and continued with our hangout at the beach. But after many hours in the sun and the breeze of the ocean waves hitting the sand, we left the place and went to our houses. I was going to spend the night at Y/N cause we planned to continue a Netflix series we started watching some days ago, so it was the perfect plan to stay up all night. With the time passing and the dark being a witness of it, something else happened, something changed between us two, I could feel it and I know that she did too on that day.
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
The days went like normal, but we weren’t the same anymore, our relationship changed, and we started growing closer and closer with each interaction, Nick noticed, my family noticed, Y/N did too, and one day…
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
- Pss, Vada… - She called me from behind, Y/N always sat behind me since the classes started and made sure to stay like that, and I wouldn’t have it any other way, I was falling for her, how could I not? Funny, smart, pretty…such an idiot but that’s what made her so intriguing, she was herself and didn’t try to hide it, she always made sure to show me how she was, how honest and real her presence and she was, she always knew how to make me smile and reassure me…she knew how. - I was wondering if you well, would like to go to our spot at the beach later? - The look on her face was weird, nervous it was, but I didn’t know at the time what it was.
- Sure, let me send Nick a text - I responded but the reaction she gave me said something else to me - Or…you don’t want me to?
- I thought it could be just between us two? Want to tell you something important - And she smiled, like she always did, I wish things could have been different then.
- You can tell me now - I said, almost too quick to respond, to change things, make a move, and be brave for once, but she looked at me confused.
- Vada…you know how this is supposed to go, I’m not here anymore. You can’t change the story.
¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
But I wanted to, I wanted to be able to stop it from happening, if I could have done something else if I didn´t receive that text if I could have just been there for her even though she told me to go, why did I leave her alone? Why, why, why, why, why…
- Vada, are you still with me? - I snapped and looked around me, I was with the psychologist.
- Yeah…I’m sorry, where was I? - My mind was blank and my emotions were like a river flowing by, I knew the answer but my mouth didn’t want to move again, I didn’t want to end the story.
- You were telling me about Y/N, and how her death affected you - She said and pushed me to keep going, I knew things wouldn’t get better if I didn’t do this, but it would also hurt if I did.
- That day…I was ready to confess to her, but the shooting took place and I was in the bathroom, I tried to go and look out for her but then Mia and Quinton were there too so we stayed, the last thing I remember was my hands covered in her blood, she tried to go look out for me and got shot in the end, I can’t stop thinking about it if she could have just waited and didn’t worry about me, or if I didn’t stay in the bathroom or chatted with Mia in a first place, maybe…just maybe, she could still be here, I could hear her voice, her laugh, see her smile and how we just had fun like how we were supposed to be doing during those days, maybe I would have even told her how much I loved her…that I still do…I still do…
My voice broke, I didn’t want the reminder of her to be erased by the actions of someone that was too far gone to take away so many lives…including her - I know…I know that I can’t change the past, but I just…I…I guess all that is left is just the reminders of her life, all the memories stay but she didn’t do the same.

b6 temp tri thoughts
bc hoo boy for me who hated b3 there is a lot to unpack.
firstoff b3 itself thoughts. gosh what a fucking disappointment of a story. for me this was where heroes story started to go downhill. initially gacha was kinda lame but the story was nice or at least bland and unoffensive (aka b1), and from b3 on the gacha was better but the story was much much worse.
before b3 i actually liked the starter trio bc sure, they were boring, but they seemed responsible enough. just like super generic standins for the usual lords/ect. after b3 their personalities developed. () was a fucking control freak and jerk, the sort of person who lectures you on your own customs and tells you why your beliefs are wrong, and also guilt trips you into complimenting them. () is a fucking stalker who has shit taste in relationships and people, thinks abuse is romantic, and is like the embodiment of being positive in a nasty way. () is a horrible leader, a kissass, and has none of the original characters likeable traits (defender of the weak, funny, ect) and instead is just ‘i love money’ memes.
the other characters introduced arent much better. gosh dang eir i was rooting for you to be a pamina character when you were first introduced. now i just feel like. the tired man with his cigarette looking done with everything. like i havent liked eir since b3 so i dont hate her now or anything but like. ok good for you youre a piece of shit.
honestly this is just gonna be me ripping b3 a new one so ill skip to the temptri story. as a premise its not bad, def better than b2s story: hel is left rulerless so the person who’s taken over needs to get rid of the other heir for like. competition. something something i think its like addressed in game of thrones or something idk medieval royalty politics. its like why macbeth sent assassins after duncan’s sons even tho they were out of the country. so the god/dragon of eir’s birthplace, who was also apparently her nanny, saves her life by merging with her and they go on a quest to retrieve the souls of eir’s dead subjects. like ok yea thats vaguely interesting sure go off.
the good: a little more development on hel/ymir. i also do like ymir! shes like the mom whos kinda a pushover, like if her kid (friend’s kid) wants to eat candy late at night she’ll do it bc she feels bad she wasnt in the kid’s life enough sorta thing. having the magic dragon being kind to the protagonist is such a fucking refresher after b2 of n ifl just threatening and demeaning fj orm (and laegy) for like five chapters (until they decided shes redeemable at the fucking last minute despite her being awful. but anyways i digress). i dont have a problem with her. cool good for you.
im having a separate section for ganglot bc i really liked her. like esp seeing the fan reaction against her and how badly shes written in the story makes me like her infinitely more! oh my gosh!
-shes actually dutiful at her job. like shes a really cool i think the word is anti villain? a character who actually has noble and good motivations but does it in a chaotic way/that is destructive to the protagonist. or something like that. theres a mess left over bc of the order’s swaggering and someones gotta clean it up and shes gonna be that someone bc her guardian is dead now, killed by her guardian’s adopted daughter. like her motivations are understandable, she’s after eir for medieval politics plus you killed/helped kill my role model slash mother figure who i thought was also your mother how fucking could you.
-shes that trope of “guy has a bitter animosity toward their presumed rival but said rival is just a dude. who acts normal abt it”. and gosh i love that trope. (herb, sal (from f g o and amadeus the movie version too), randall monsters inc, the list goes on i bet) its a good trope and i always love to see girl characters written with beloved traits of guy characters (gosh i wish there were more characters that arent guys written with wholesome kind jock kronk type characteristics. high school au feng is basically that. but again off topic). i feel bad for ganglot bc she just had to choose the person to have a vendetta against who would actually fuck her up out of proportion but. -doctor idv mourn emote-
-her design is nice and her backstory makes her personality/character more sympathetic. i like the classy formal look, it fits as her being a handmaiden and very dutiful, kinda like the maids/butlers in 14. im so grateful they didnt make her an au version of the main characters like the fan theories were saying. she was abandoned as a child and is older than eir/adopted presumably before eir was, which means she couldnt be those characters even if they wanted her to be. fuck you eat shit fall off your horse. anyways. she basically had nothing and was taken in by someone who not only provided for her needs but offered herself as an example. im willing to bet that seeing hel gave ganglot a purpose/something to look up to, and that hel, while providing for her needs, probably treated their relationship more as a business/apprenticeship sorta thing. in fact theres even stuff that said that ganglot loved looking after eir, which makes it seem like she was kind to eir (which makes what happened even more sad/pisses me off) and only hated her after she killed hel. and considering ganglot didnt know abt what hel did to eir, she wouldnt know why eir rebelled against her. and eir never fucking explains it to her. to ganglot it must look like eir just was like “oh woops looks like im a princess to a pretty lively fairyland happily ever after kingdom im ditching your goth busy realm of the dead to go fuck off and escape from my responsibilities and also imma help some pet self insert of a kill-happy spoiled ass prince and his friends kill your boss slash role model byeeeee -nail polish emoji-”. like idk. its totally relatable and understandable why ganglot would want to kill eir.
-her fatal flaw that leads to her demise is her kindness/mercy. which is something you almost never see with villains, esp ones that are supposed to be unsympathetic. like maybe in a series with an antihero who takes advantage of them falling for a trick or something. or like joseph joestar outwitting the pillar men, but then its less kindness and more like “honor/chivalry” being outwitted by wiliness, which imo is completely different. this is like if the hero is pleading for their life before fighting the villain, the villain decides to give them this out of mercy, and the hero, without explaining anything to the villain who presumably was their friend before, just fucking sacrifices their friend’s life to murder the villain from within in order to kiss up to their longtime abusers who have a sad backstory uwu and that makes it ok. gosh i fucking hate some aspects of this game. anyways i think a villain who has a point whose mercifulness leads to them being killed by a dirty trick is kinda interesting and at least new.
the bad:
-gosh i hate the u b w ripoff in the plot. like please just get a better plot point dont rip off a fucking boring f ate story. their appearances were played up but ultimately did basically nothing but motivate eir, potentially to do worse things but then again thats up in the air (no pun intended) how much of what she chose to do was “for my friends!” and how much was her own idea.
-the jokes abt eirs new design. i dont have a problem with her new design, or even her decisions. it makes sense, seeing shes spent the last however long around these assholes that maybe she’s changed for the worse (or rather from a blank slate to something worse than that). but what i do have a problem is w the “jokes”. no assholes you cant just “cure” depression for one what these characters have is more akin to life altering trauma and just bc theyre wearing brighter colors and smiling more doesnt mean their “depression is gone/cured”. i dont like the in game explanation for idunn but i have my version which is (imo) more meaningful and in character. i think for eir technically it makes more sense with the lore given, as besides askr, which treats her like a pet or a trophy, ymir is the first person in her life whose treated her decently, and in a parental way at that. so yea, not really w the design but definitely with the fans jokes. shut the fuck up.
-the writing. like as a sort of tragedy of people not fucking communicating a la spi derman 1 (2002) or an episode of conan its fine, in fact its pretty good. like for those reasons (+ the sort of medieval drama aspects) i like it or rather dont have a problem. its that those aspects are basically just glossed over for a generic and not really morally substantial “good wins evil loses” angle that this series likes to take. its not as bad as b2 where “sure this person basically kept your life as a carrot on a string to get you to fight your mutual respected former dead enemy who that person dehumanizes, and also they constantly belittle and threaten you but hey they had a crush on your ancestor so that makes them a good person uwu in the end”, but its still not great. like i said ganglot is a really cool character and very multi faceted and sympathetic, but the series just treats her like “hels evil successor who hates eir for no reason” and the fandom calls her incompetent so im just like. i will bite you but im also too tired. idk. i like ganglot. she seems like kind of a workaholic young lady who both is the “i serve someone and am super faithful but they really dont deserve me” trope i unfortunately like (i say unfortunately bc its fucking annoying bc i always end up hating the person theyre faithful to unless its beet and schooby and in that case beet is just too lovable to hate, and also he never asked to be idolized also so him being greedy is something you cant blame him for).
-i think if the story was done better? or like a version id actually like? theres not much id want to change. i think to make eir actually sympathetic she should actually try to communicate what she learned abt hel/what hel did to her to ganglot, and ganglot either ignores her or shuts down eir, or ganglot still cant forgive her even knowing the truth. something like that. a quick fix and that makes everything better. have a flashback to when they were younger and ganglot being kind to eir, and make it more of a moral conflict eir has against fighting and killing her former friend. kinda like the scene in spi derman 3 (2007). ok enough spiderman references id also address what happens to hel after the story. either eir kills ganglot and resumes the responsibility for both the realm of life and the realm of death. or she is able to defeat but not kill ganglot, while recognizing her as an enemy also has the strength of character to recognize she’d be a good ruler of the dead, and gives her blessing/relinquishes her claim to the throne while leaving, never to see her again or something. idk.
id also personally just eradicate all mention of (u b w characters) from the story and make the ending not that eir goes back to her “friends in askr” but that she goes back to set things right, not as their tool and pawn but as the leader her people in the realm of life (and depending on which the realm of death) need, acknowledging her responsibility to her people and her independence. but nooooOOOoo she goes back to the people who treat her as a toy like all happy to be that way. this years story and the protagonists happily sacrificing others for their schemes and then having the gall to act sad abt it afterwards as if tehy werent the one who twisted the damn knife istg

"Listen, I don't give a fuck about your friend—I wanna get to know you better."
Tumblr media
“Um, excuse me? Have you seen my friend?”
The ash-blond swimming in smoke stills, mid-conversation with some half-dressed woman to his right. In fact, all the half-dressed women snap their heads your way, all ten of them, sizing you up in your non-promiscuous dress and heels (not compared to theirs, at least) and obvious awkwardness and uncouthness. The ash-blond frowns.
“How’d you fuckin’ get in here?”
Tumblr media
“Um,” you glance at the green-haired bouncer who let you through—he’s too busy guarding the entrance to notice. “I just pretended like I knew who you were and he...let me in?”
“Fuckin’ Deku,” the ash-blond groans, rubbing a hand over his face before tossing it over the back of the booth. “Whadd’ya want?”
“Um, I was wondering if you’ve seen my friend,” you repeat, hands fiddling with your bracelets as you crack under the pressure of all the eyes. “She’s um, kinda short with long brown hair. I don’t...it was hard to see the color of her dress in the dark, but I think it was purple?”
The ash-blond blinks as you fumble over your words, causing a second of silence where he does nothing but stare until he snaps, digging his cigar into the ash-tray with finality.
“All right. Shoo, ladies.”
The women surrounding the ash-blond whine and boo. He seems unfazed though, simply shrugging as he says:
“Gotta help this pretty thing find her friend.”
The women clear out quickly and quietly after that. And though you’re unsure why, many of them shoot very nasty looks your way as they pass under the neon red exit sign and into the chaotic club. They look like they want to kill you.
Anyways.
“So...does that mean you know where my friend is?”
“Nope,” the ash-blond says, popping the ‘p’ as he adjusts to the extra space in the booth. “But you get a solid fuckin’ view from up here. Sit.”
You nod and take the spot next to him, scanning the crowd below with narrowed eyes. You look for something, anything that could hint at where your friend could be, but wind up empty-handed.
"D'ya come here often?" he asks, and you shake your head.
"No. I mean, I heard the place is kind of new anyway, so," you shrug absentmindedly. You think you see your friend for a second, just catching a glimpse of brown hair, but once the girl turns, it's clear she's not who you're looking for. Dammit.
"Guess so," the man grunts. You hear him shift but you don't look. "The o—"
"Shoes, did you see her shoes?" You ask before realizing your thought process is light years ahead of his. He gives you a blank look. "I mean—sorry, they're like, really high stilettos with gold on the bottom. I think."
The stranger's angled eyebrows drop. "No."
"Dammit," you click your tongue, before turning back to the crowd. No...no...no...no...
"Listen, I'm not gonna sugar coat it—I don't give a fuck about your friend." He says with a sigh. Your head snaps to look at him because it doesn't matter if he meant it, that's rude, but your thoughts disintegrate into nothing as he grabs you by the chin and says, "I wanna get to know you better."
"Um," You swallow. He's close to the point where your eyes cross trying to put him into focus. "M-Me?"
"You," he confirms with a cocked eyebrow. "What, never been the center of attention before, Princess?"
You falter. Not like this.
"So," he continues when you don't respond. "What's your name, Princess? I'm Katsuki."
You give him yours and meet his hand halfway for a handshake, much too aware of how big it is compared to yours. Katsuki hums, both arms on either side of your being and ultimately, caging you to the booth.
"Y/N..." He repeats, experimentally, like he's trying to see how it fits in his mouth. You don't mind the way it sounds coming from him. "I like it.”
"O-Oh, um," you're unsure of what to say, so you do nothing but blush and place a hand to his chest. You try your hardest to hide your surprise upon feeling how firm it is. "Thank you."
"Don't gotta thank me for stating the obvious," Katsuki grunts, adjusting so his eyes are leveled with yours. "What do you like to do, Y/N?"
There's a hand on your thigh.
It sits right where your dress stops, and it burns—but you find yourself unsure of what you want it to do, whether you want it to go away or continue its journey up. And that's exactly what it does, as Katsuki thumbs the hem to your skirt and you try your hardest to focus on your reply.
"U-Um..." you panic, too much heat in his eyes for comfort. "I don't know."
Katsuki raises an eyebrow in faint amusement, "You don't know?"
"W-Well, I mean—!" You try after realizing how utterly empty-headed you must sound. Katsuki's chuckle diffuses your efforts fairly quickly.
"You're cute, you know that?" He says gruffly, carmine red eyes burning through the dark of the club. You suppress the urge to shrink.
"I—um, thank you," you flush embarrassingly red. Katsuki's eyes study your being for a moment, flickering up and down, and up again until he's tapping the side of your thigh twice.
"Sit in my lap, Princess."
He guides you using your wrist and for some reason you allow him to guide you into his lap, grunting as he nestles you on him comfortably as he overlooks the club. You falter upon feeling something...strangely hard. “What’s that?”
“My dick,” Katsuki grunts, almost absentmindedly, and yet the vulgar comment takes you so off guard that it nearly knocks the wind out of you.
“Oh.”
“‘S your fault for gettin’ me all worked up, Princess,” Katsuki’s hands find their way around your waist before they’re guiding your hips into rolling small, smooth circles against him. Katsuki’s back thumps against the back of the booth as he admires the view, groaning behind a bitten lip. “Told ya to sit still and you didn’t listen.”
You suppose that’s valid.
Plus, you’re enjoying the little groans he’s letting out—along with the sharp inhales when your hips dig harder into his.
“How um—how do I help?”
“Just keep sittin’ pretty, Princess,” Katsuki growls, and you nod, allowing him to guide your hips to his will. It’s a lot of movement, and you find yourself shying away from the balcony as he hikes your dress up to your waist—ultimately exposing the entirety of your lower half. Your goosebumps rise.
“What if people see?”
”They won’t. We’re too high up,” Katsuki soothes, rubbing a thumb over your ribcage as he hooks his chin over your shoulder. “And if they’re fuckin’ nosy? Let ‘em see. The sick fuckers will appreciate the show.”
Let them see. You shiver at that.
Katsuki’s running his hot hands all over your body and they make you feel nothing short of sexy, sliding them up the sides of your body until they curve over your breasts, and drop back down to your hips. They move as if they’re mapping out your body, trying to figure out what makes you tick and what makes you crumble, and you sigh along with the satisfying glide.
“Fuck...you have a better body than those girls ever will,” he groans, but you flush at the way he seems to say it more to himself than to you. “Fuckin’ perfect, fuck.”
“T-Thank you,” you flush, unsure if you were supposed to take the praise or not. Katsuki chuckles.
“So fuckin’ cute, too. You’re welcome, Princess.” His hands move from your waist to the sides of your thighs, tapping twice with open palms. “Squat.”
“Squat?” You confirm with furrowed eyebrows. Katsuki grunts and manhandles you to your feet with a sigh. There isn’t a whole lot of space between the booth and the railing, forcing you to fold over the banister with the cool thing pressing into your gut and your arms keep you from falling completely. You shiver from the cool air as his fingers hook around the fabric of your panties, and then you feel something hot kiss your entrance before Katsuki’s guiding you back down using your hips.
You’re full of him, immediately, and you struggle to hide a whimper as he wastes no time in bottoming out.
“O-Oh—“
“Never had somethin’ this big before, huh Princess?” Katsuki’s strained voice is the only evidence that lets you know he’s feeling good, and you’re tightening around him with a nod.
“N-No, definitely not.”
You have to rest your head against the buzzing railing to just breathe through it, to adjust, and Katsuki chuckles at your shuddering chest. He taps a steady rhythm that matches the beat of the music into your side but doesn’t move, and you find a strange comfort in the vibrating club, with the addition of something inside you providing a uniquely comfortable warmth.
"C-Can I—"
"No," Katsuki grunts, placing heavy hands on your hips to ensure you'll stay in place. "Find your fuckin' friend, first. Y'got a good view."
You whimper and nod, resting your forehead against the cool railing. Fuck—he fills you up too well. As you watch people live their lives down below, you rake your eyes through the crowd in search of a purple dress—and you come up empty.
"I-I don't even know if she's here," you defend, chest shuddering. Katsuki chuckles, though it's laced with something heavier.
"Really? 'Cause you were so fuckin’ sure about twenty minutes ago."
Katsuki's hand cracks against your ass—with a sound you're surprised no one heard over the music—and you yelp. "Dirty fuckin' girl, grinding back on my cock. Impatient girls get punished, you know."
You nearly moan behind a bitten lip. You weren't even aware you were moving.
“F-Found her,” you barely croak out, so relaxed your upper body practically drapes off the balcony. Katsuki snorts, leaning forwards so his mouth is flush against the back of your neck—you gasp from the adjustment.
“Prove it.” He grunts breathily, clearly in a similar condition.
“U-Um, the gold stilettos," you barely manage, and Katsuki hisses as you tighten around him to point down into the fray—lo and behold, there she is, in the middle of the goddamn dance floor with some guy you've never seen before. You...suppose you're in a similar situation. A better one.
"Good girl," the ash-blond coos. Shivering, your hips rolling on their own, but this time Katsuki lets them. You don't stop. “Fuckin’ choking my cock, shit.”
His hands get a little shaky and though it’s hard to discern through your own arousal, you take note of how thin his voice sounds, and continue to roll your hips in the way that makes him shiver. Katsuki starts to trail kisses up your neck which turns into a bite of your earlobe, causing you to hiss from the feeling.
“‘S good?” You ask—Katsuki’s chest vibrates against your back.
“Fuckin’ perfect,” he huffs, guiding hands sliding down your waist. “Keep goin’.”
Not that you were planning on stopping.
Katsuki’s hands slide between your thighs to rub at your clit. You nearly shout, thighs seizing, and the ash-blond chuckles at your inability to stay quiet as if he wasn’t sliding a free hand up your dress to play with your chest.
“Dirty fuckin’ girl—you aren’t even trying to hide it now, are ya? Moanin’ in the club like a goddamn whore.”
You nearly choke at that, slamming a hand over your lips to muffle the sound. Not that anyone would be able to hear you over the club music, but still. Public decency.
Either way, your reaction has Katsuki chuckling, and he hooks his chin over your shoulder as he says, “You like it when I call you dirty, Princess? You like when I point out how fuckin’ filthy you are for me?”
You nod your head vehemently, now bouncing on Katsuki’s cock with a newfound enthusiasm—and you figure the slap on your ass is a signal to respond.
“Answer me, slut.”
“Y-Yeah, I do,” you whimper, and Katsuki’s hand crawls from your breasts to your neck, cutting off your oxygen supply in the best way. Your eyes roll to the back of your head, nearly gasping as you slur:
“Gonna—gonna cum.”
“Yeah? Gonna cum all over my cock in the middle of a club, huh?” Katsuki’s chuckle strains from arousal and you’re positive he’s not that far behind. The hand on your clit speeds up and Katsuki curses as you tighten around him, teeth digging into the meat of your shoulder.
“Cum for me, Princess, fuckin’ do it—“
You squeeze around him with a shout before your orgasm comes over you, shoulders shuddering. Katsuki groans out a broken good girl before his hips buck and grip tightens around your waist as he cums, hands guiding your hips to ride both of your orgasms out until they finally come to a still.
You shiver as Katsuki catches his breath in your neck. Eventually, your racing hearts beat in time with the music and bodies cool enough to not feel so slick with sweat, and finally, Katsuki pulls out with a groan. He doesn't remove you from his lap, though.
"You good?"
You nod, fixing your hair in hopes that you'll look more put together than you feel. "Yeah—yeah I'm fine. You?"
Katsuki turns you in his lap to face him (though it does take some awkward clambering due to the limited space). He zips up his fly and you pull down your dress, the next steps about as uncertain as walking in the dark.
"Why're you asking me?"
"I dunno," you shrug, bottom lip poking out in indifference, "Pussy can take a lot out of a guy, I guess."
Katsuki's pale pink lips slide into a lazy smile, and he drops his head with a snort. "I—yeah okay. Sure."
"What?" You giggle, gesturing at his heaving chest before crossing your hands over yours with a huff. "You're out of breath, aren't you? I did all the work."
Katsuki chuckles at your petulance, shaking his head in defeat, "Y'got me there."
He rests his head against the backboard of the booth to give you a look. You can't put your finger on it, but you feel exposed nonetheless, and you struggle not shrink from it. He licks his lips, "You drink, Princess?"
"Depends," you shrug. The ash-blond grins.
"What do you like?"
"Shirley Temples," you giggle, coiling your arms around his neck. Katsuki's hands return to your waist and it's...comfortable. "Why, you wanna buy me one?"
Katsuki makes a face that signifies yes, he does, and you follow his eyes in peering towards the dance floor again. You see your friend exactly where you saw her last, and upon feeling eyes on her, she looks around to find yours. She shoots you a wink—you roll your eyes.
"What about your friend?" Katsuki snorts, lifting an eyebrow. You snort.
"I found her, didn't I?" You wink, standing to your feet to pull him towards the bar. "Now c'mon! Doing all that work made me thirsty."

“Hey, girl!” Debbie exclaimed. You looked up from your phone, smiling as you spotted your friend.
“Hey,” you smiled while walking up to her. Your attention when to Franny, who was sitting in her stroller. You crouched down and smiled at the baby.
“Hi, baby. How are you? Do you like going to school with Mommy? You know, some day you’ll be going to school. I’ll be an adult and with kids, too!” You babbled to the baby. Franny squealed and held her hands up to you. You giggled, bopping her nose before going up back to talk to Debbie.
“You’re really good with her,” Debbie complimented.
“Thanks, kids kinda like me,” you giggled.
Debbie rolled her eyes, “Yeah, we know. Anyways, can we hang at your house?”
You two started walking to your guys’s lockers. “Sure. I have to babysit Jems and Ames, though. Mom and Dad don’t get off work until like, midnight.”
Debbie nodded. “Franny can play with them.”
“Sounds good,” you nodded. You unlocked your locker, a piece of paper falling out.
“What’s that?” Debbie asked.
“I don't know,” you muttered, furrowing your brows. You picked up the paper, unfolding it. Your eyes widened as you saw its contents. It read:
Dear Y/n,
I thought your outfit looked really good. Not that your outfits don’t always look good, but today’s my favorite. I really like your jeans and your red shirt. Red really looks good with your eyes.
From,
Secret Admirer
Debbie read the note with you, laughing as she got to the end. “You have a secret admirer!”
You smiled, “Yeah. This is cute. I wonder who it’s from.”
“Maybe it’s from Dean Kepner,” Debbie said, nudging your shoulder teasingly.
You rolled your eyes, “That is the funniest shit I have ever heard.”
“Well, what if it is! I noticed him staring at your shirt today,” Debbie said.
You scoffed, “Yeah, more like staring at my tits. This note said nothing about my  tits. It’s probably not him. Plus, I’m pretty sure Dean can’t make compound sentences. He’s worse at speaking than Ames and Jems, and they’re 3 years old.
Debbie chuckled, “True. Well, we should try to figure it out.”
“Eh. It's probably some jackass who wants to get in my head, and then embarrass me because I thought someone liked me,” you said.
“Be more optimistic!” Debbie exclaimed.
“Hm, I will if I get a second note. Let’s go, Jems and Ames are expecting me to pick them up from daycare,” you said. You grabbed a few textbooks and shut your locker. “Is Carl coming home with us?” You asked.
“I think so,” Debbie said. “Alright. Where is he?” You asked.
“Probably making out with some slut in the bathrooms,” Debbie said.
“Probably,” you snorted.
You and Debbie walked to the nearest bathroom, peeking behind the corner to see if you could hear any noise. Surprisingly, it was quiet.
“What are you guys doing?”
You both jumped, turning around and seeing a confused Carl behind you.
Carl was Debbie’s little brother. They were both Gallagher’s. They were children of the alcoholic and drug addict Frank and Monica. They lived on the South Side of Chicago, which was where you also lived.
You were Y/n Ball. Daughter of Veronica Fisher and Kevin Ball. You had lived next to the Gallagher’s all your life. You were their best friend. Well, their only best friend, really. Your mom and their older sister, Fiona, had been friends since forever. You had been born around the same time as Debbie, who was the third oldest out of the 6 Gallagher children, so you two have been basically best friends since birth. Carl was also one of the Gallagher kids you were also the close with, too, him being just a year younger than you. You three had basically grown up together, so being best friends was pretty natural.
“We were seeing if you were fucking anyone,” Debbie answered.
Carl scrunched his face up in disgust. “I don’t do that.”
You laughed, “Sure you don’t. C’mon, C-Dog, I gotta pick up the little missies.”
“Alright, Y/n/n,” Carl smiled at the nickname you had given him ever since you two had gotten closer.
You two hadn’t always been close before. Debbie and you were by far the closest, with being in the same grade and all. You and Carl hung out a lot, but it wasn’t really until he started high school when you two actually hung out one-on-one. He had come to you for relationship advice when he was dating this one girl, Dominique, who turned out to be a horrible person. You two have since bonded about your past, failed relationships, and how shitty life is.
Since getting closer with him, you had kind of developed a little crush on him. He had always been cute, but when puberty hit him, he became really hot, really quick. You never showed any other feelings for him than platonic, though. You didn’t want to deal with all the drama that it would bring between you and your families.
“Stop eye-fucking each other, please,” Debbie groaned, walking away from you two.
You rolled your eyes, “Like you should talk. Every guy you meet you imagine sleeping with them.”
“Not true!” Debbie defended herself.
“Yeah, right. That’s why you have a baby,” Carl joked.
“You guys are so mean,” Debbie muttered.
“That one was pretty mean, but at least it didn’t come from me,” you smiled.
“Yeah, it came from the asshole who got circumcised for a girl,” Debbie laughed.
You laughed with her, Carl rolling his eyes and blushing. He looked to you and noticed a piece of paper peeking out from your jeans.
“What's that?” He asked and pointed.
“Oh, it’s a note that someone gave me,” you said. You took it out and gave it to Carl. He opened it and read it.
“This is nice,” he said.
“Yeah, it’s pretty cute,” you agreed. He handed you the note back. “Who do you think it is?”
“I don’t know, honestly. I’m kind of thinking it’s a joke, so I wanna wait till I get another one,” you said, folding it back into your pocket.
“I think it’s Dean Kepner,” Debbie stated.  You rolled your eyes, “Yeah, you're the only one.”
“Is that the popular football guy? In your grade?” Carl asked.
“Yep. He’s so hot,” Debbie sighed dreamily.
“I don’t think so,” you stated.
Carl looked at you and nodded. “Yeah, I heard he does hard drugs.”
“Yeah, another reason why I don’t fuck with him. I mean, I have a beer every other night, but never am I gonna do drugs. That shit messes you up,” you sighed.
“Yeah, we know. We had Monica as our mother,” Debbie said.
You chuckled, walking over to your car. You got in the driver seat, Carl sitting in the passengers. Debbie usually sat there, but since she has a baby, you told her it wasn’t safe to put Franny in the passenger seat, especially since if the even of an accident, the airbag goes off and hurts Franny.
You drove to daycare, humming songs from the radio while doing so. While you were driving, Carl couldn’t help but stare between your face and the note in your pocket. You didn’t know, but the person who wrote you the note was him.
Carl was usually pretty confident and outgoing. All of his family like that. You had to do that to survive the South Side. But when it came to you, he was like jello. He didn’t know how to act, speak, whether he could look at you two seconds longer than normal. You never noticed his behaviour change, though. To you, he was always quiet and low-key. He was thankful that he never questioned why he was so quiet around you, especially since he was a loud, annoying kid when he was younger.
With these notes, he would be able to say what he was afraid to say to your face. He didn’t want to face rejection, especially by the pretty senior girl that had lived next to him since the day he was born. It would be awkward if you did reject him, so he just kept quiet until maybe he worked up the courage to ask you out depending on wether you liked the notes or not.
You parked in a handicap parking spot. “Alright, one of you wanna go and help me get Ames and Jems?” You asked.
“Carl, can you do it, I wanna stay with Franny,” Debbie said.
“Yeah, sure,” Carl nodded. He got out of the car with you, walking into the daycare.
You walked up to front desk. “Hi, I’m here for Amy and Jemma Ball. I'm their older sister, Y/n,” you said.
“Alright, can I see ID?” The woman asked.
You nodded and got your wallet out of your back pocket. You handed her your ID. She handed it back to you.
“Alright, go ahead and head in,” she said.
“Thank you,” you smiled.
She hummed a ‘you’re welcome’ as you and Carl went into the play room.
“Why do you have to give her your ID?” Carl asked.
“I think it’s because she’s new, and also I didn’t drop them off this morning. They wanna make sure no one kidnaps children,” you explained.
Carl nodded. “Ah, makes sense.”
“Yeah, the usual woman here, Julie, moved to Florida. She always gave me and the girls a mint when we left, and never asked for my ID,” you said.
“Wow, she sounds cool,” Carl said.
“Yep, she was,” you smiled.
You walked into the room, spotting Jemma and Amy immediately. They spotted you two, smiling and running up to you.
“Hi, babes!” You exclaimed, crouching down and catching them in your arms.
“Hi, Y/n!” They both squealed.
“Ready to go home?” You asked.
They both nodded.
“Alright. Let me go get your stuff, hang out with Uncle Carl for a few minutes, okay?” You said.
“Okay,” Jemma said.
You walked over to their cubby, grabbing their baby bags. You went back over to Carl, taking a hold of both of the girls’s hands.
“Let’s go, babes,” you said.
“I’m hungry!” Amy exclaimed.
“I’ll get you a snack when we get home, alright?” You asked.
Amy nodded, smiling excitedly. You smiled at her, looking up to see Carl opening the door for you.
“Thanks,” you smiled at him.
“No problem,” he nodded and followed behind you. You put the girls in the backseat with Debbie, unloading their bags in the trunk. You got in the front seat, starting the car.
“Do you want to be dropped off at your house or stay with us at my place?” You asked Carl.
“I'll hang with you guys,” Carl said.
You nodded, “Sounds good.”
You drove back home, parking the car on the side. You unlocked the front door, immediately dropping all the bags you had. You slumped on the couch, taking a breather.
“Can we have a snack?” Jemma asked.
“Oh, yeah, right,” you said, getting up. “You guys want some fruit snacks?” “Yeah!” Amy exclaimed.
You nodded, going to the pantry and getting two packs of fruit snacks for each of them. You led them back to the couch, turning on the tv.
“Watch TV with Franny, okay? Sissy has to do homework,” you said.
The twins nodded, looking at Paw Patrol, which was what was playing. You went to the kitchen table, unloading your backpack.
“You’re really good at taking care of them,” Carl said, sitting next to you.
You smiled, “Thanks. Mom and Dad do a lot, but since they are a little older and so am I, they let me have more responsibility. They have to work and stuff to make sure we can afford everything. I’d like to say I’m an expert at taking care of Amy and Jemma.”
Carl chuckled, “Yeah, I couldn’t imagine taking care of a kid.”
“Well, you have been taking care of Liam since he was born, right?” You asked.
Carl shrugged, “I guess.”
“Taking care of kids is easy if you like them,” you shrugged.
“Makes sense,” he said.
You hummed.
“So, are you waiting for another note?” Carl asked.
“Hm, kind of, yeah. I would be lying if I didn’t say I hoped this will turn into some cute, romantic love story with someone,” you chuckled.
Carl blushed a little, focusing on his own homework. “Yeah, that’d be nice.
————
“Yeah, Mom, I got it. No problem, see you later,” you said, hanging up the call. You sighed, walking slowly to your locker.
Your mom had just called you to come to the Alibi to help out since business was buzzing. Word was, Frank was up to one of his schemes again and got the Alibi full and drunk. You couldn’t wait to deal with perky, 50 year-old men catcalling you. You were wearing a sweatshirt, too, which you knew would make it worse since the men always would try to have you take it off, and never stopped pushing. Luckily, you had pepper spray with you at all times so if someone ever got too much, you wouldn’t hesitate to spray them.
You opened your locker, putting away a few binders when you noticed another note. You grabbed it, unfolding it with a hint of excitement. You would be lying if you said you hadn't been looking forward to this all day.
You opened the note, smiling widely as its contents.
Dear Y/n,
Your makeup looks amazing today. You’re really talented with the eyeliner and stuff. Oh, and your lipstick matches really well with your outfit, too.
From,  Secret Admirer
“Another note, huh?” Debbie said, approaching you.
You smiled and nodded. “Yep.”
“What's that?” Carl asked.
“Another note from Y/n’s admirer,” Debbie smiled.
Carl flushed a little. “Oh.”
“Yeah,” you smiled. “I hope this is for real. I want to meet this person.”
“Maybe you will,” Carl said. You looked to him, a worried expression settling on your face.
“You okay, C-Dog?” You asked.
“Yeah. I’m gonna catch the bus. See you guys later,” he said, walking off quickly.
You furrowed your brows. “What's got his dick in a twist?”
“I have no idea. Maybe he likes you,” Debbie smirked.
Your heart fluttered a little at the thought of him liking you. Debbie knew you liked Carl, so maybe she was fucking with you, but you had to ask to be sure.
“Does he?”
“I think,” Debbie said.
“Oh,” you muttered. “Cool,” you smiled.
You weren’t going to confront him just yet, but you prayed to God your secret admirer was Carl.
————
“Hey, there’s something for you in the mail,” Veronica said.
You furrowed your brows. “Who’s it from?”
“It doesn’t have a name,” Veronica said, hanging you an envelope. “It just has your name on it.”
“Huh,” you said, taking the envelope. You tore it open, your eyes widening as you saw another note it in.
“What is it?” Kevin asked.
“A note,” you said. “From my secret admirer.”
“You have a secret admirer! Wow,” Kevin said.
“Yeah,” you chuckled. You sat on the couch, opening the note.
Dear Y/n,
I thought you looked really pretty today. I hope you don’t find it weird I mailed this to your house, I actually live close to you, so I saw you crossing the street today. Anyways, I just thought I would let you know you look pretty.
From,
Secret Admirer
You found yourself giggling, setting the note down. Even though you were flattered, you found it a little weird this person knew where you lived, even if they supposedly lived near. You didn’t know why they couldn’t just tell you all these things in person.
“What does it say?” Veronica asked.
“The note calls me pretty,” you said, putting it back in its envelope.
“Hm, well, whoever this is isn’t wrong,” Veronica grinned. “Do you have any idea who it is?”
You sighed, “Nope. It says they live close to me, though.”
“Maybe it’s one of the Gallagher’s,” Kevin suggested.
Your eyes went wide, remembering what Debbie had said to a few days ago when you got the second note. You shook your head, though. Carl was out with his friends right now, you had just left his house, too, and there was no sign of him.
“Nah, no offence to them, none of them are this romantic or anything. Well, except Ian, but he’s gay,” you said.
“Maybe ask about it, though? All of our other neighbours are old men, and that does not look like old man handwriting,” Veronica said.
“Maybe I will. I mean, Debbie said Carl liked me, and when I got the second note, Carl was acting all weird and shit,” you said.
Veronica eyes widened. “Carl?”
“Yeah,” you said. “I don’t care if it's him, though, it'd be kind of weird.”
Veronica sat down on the couch next to you. “You like him, don’t you?”
“Kind of,” you said sheepishly.
“Well, I think you should ask him about it. If he says no, then don’t mention your feelings for him. If he says yes the notes are from him, then confess,” Veronica said.
“Should I do that?” You asked.
“I think so, baby. Carl’s a good kid, especially with you around. I wouldn’t have a problem with you two dating.”
You smiled, “Thanks, Mom. I’ll go to his place tomorrow.”
“My baby is about to get a boyfriend!” Kevin whooped. “If he hurts you, I will kill him.”
You chuckled, “Thanks, Dad.”
————
You walked into the Gallagher’s house, spotting Fiona in the kitchen.
“Hey, Fi,” you smiled.
“Hey, Y/n! Are you here fo Debbie? She went out,” Fiona said.
“No, actually. I’m here for Carl,” you said.
“Oh, okay. Well, he’s upstairs,” Fiona said.
“Thanks, Fi,” you smiled and made your way up to Carl’s room. You saw that the door was wide open.
You went in, not seeing Carl anywhere.
Where is he? You thought.
You went around his room, walking around the room. His room was ridiculously messy. Clothes everywhere, food and plates all over the dresser, weird liquid on the floor. You chuckled to yourself as you had to step over the puddle.
“Boys are horrific,” you muttered to yourself.
You went to the desk, sitting down in the desk chair. You looked around on the desk, seeing court date papers, old homework, and cigarette boxes. As you looked more to your right, something had caught your eye. There was a paper with your name on it on the back.
You picked it up hesitantly, slowly unfolding it. Your eyes widened as you saw the words “Dear Y/n”. You knew you shouldn't, but you went ahead and read it anyways. You just wanted to make sure you were correct of your suspicions.
Dear Y/n,
After these few weeks, I have decided to try and be brave and go up to ask you out. I think you’re really pretty and you’re so funny and nice. I’ve liked you since I started high school, and even if I get rejected, I know I would regret not trying to ask you out. So, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date?
From,
Secret Admirer, aka Carl (Gallagher)
“Y/n?” You snapped your head back, seeing Carl in a towel. Your eyes quickly ran past his chest, seeing the toned muscles in his arms and stomach. You eyes went up to his face, lingering on his lips. You then went up to his eyes, seeing them wide and filled with wonder.
“Sorry, I’ll, uh, go,” you muttered and stood up, leaving the note on the desk.
“What?” Carl asked. He was beyond confused, but when he saw you and the note, he put the pieces together. As you went to walk out of his room, he grabbed your arm, pulling you back gently so you two were face-to-face.
“Did read the note?” He asked.
You looked up at him sheepishly, “Yeah, I’m sorry for invading your privacy.”
Carl sighed, “It’s alright. I’m, uh, sorry if I wasn't who you were expecting or anything. I know I’m probably not the person you like or anything, but I just wanted to try and see if you liked me. Ian and Lip said that was a cute idea, the notes.”
Your eyes lit up with he voiced his concerns. Your lips upturned into a smile, your eyes staring into his.
“Carl, I like you, too,” you said.
Carl’s eyes widened. “Wha-what?”
You took his hands in yours. “It was a cute idea. And I’ve liked you for the last 3 years, too. I was hoping it was you, actually.”
Carl blushed, a big smile appearing on his face. “Really?” “Yep,” you nodded.
“Awesome!” Carl chuckled. “So, do you want to go on a date with me?”
“Yeah, I’d love to,” you smiled.
“Cool,” he smiled. “Well, I need to get dressed. You can stay and watch if you want,” he smirked.
You giggled at his words. “Don’t mind if I do.”

Do you have any Keiko headcanons? (Kimiko's BFF that she texted sometimes)
Since all we know about Keiko is from her phone calls with Kimiko in season 1, her character is almost non-existent in the show. Well, for one it's a plus because we can build her character from scratch and I'm about to do it, thanks for the request!
For starters, let's analyze moments in which Kimiko actually talks to her.
Episode 1: It seems as if Kimiko and Keiko are inseparable. The moment Kimiko noticed she can't continue their call, she assured Keiko she'll email her. Although a scene later Kimiko is on the phone again, filling her bestie with anything she's witnessing the first day at the temple. For example, Kimiko shares with her Raimundo's prank on Omi.
Yet another mention of Keiko takes place in the Texas episode (s01e10). Kimiko has just lassoed a cow, and, full of pride in committing such a feat, immediately calls Keiko. Unfortunately due to the cow pulling her, Kimiko loses her phone. I presume girls' bond is so strong they have to inform each other of their respective achievements, even if these are mundane things such as finding a cool color of nail polish or buying new clothes etc. This time, it was an exception because that surely was kinda impressive on Kimiko's end that her help comes to fruition!
But enough of that. From these two instances we can draw the following conclusions:
Keiko is a good, PATIENT listener
she's very excited whenever Kimiko is ready to share with her the gossip
she's up for a good laugh and I suppose they have a similar type of humor (because in any other case Kimiko wouldn't tell her that Omi was the victim of a prank, right? Probably Keiko giggled too)
Keiko exchanges with Kimiko a lot of e-mails, texts, and phone calls every day. I bet when Kimiko is done with her training, in the evenings she and Keiko are up for the video chat (so that's my headcanon no1)
Now we're entering that area, which is mostly my guesses or headcanons I enforced on Keiko (as I said there is so little known about her someone's gotta come up with something!)
Keiko and Kimiko know each other since childhood.
they attended the same kindergarten and schools
in kindergarten, they knew each other - sure, but it wasn't friendship yet
However, that changed right after Kimiko's incident. Remember Kimiko's greatest fear? A half-burned doll? Well, she accidentally activated her fire powers for the first time and unfortunately, it was in public. Just imagine - kids freaking out, crying and running to their moms and poor Kimiko who was just as frightened as the other witnesses. The worst thing is that her classmates started bullying her because of that. This is when Keiko steps in.
Keiko was the only one, who didn't reject her. She started hanging out with our Kimiko more, to the point they were seen together on every school break. Kimiko was so happy that despite what happened to her, she can invite someone over.
Keiko was Kimiko's only friend in elementary school. She was usually a calm kid, but there was something rebellious about her. Well, it came to good use when someone dared to call Kimi 'a freak' She always was ready to protect Kimiko for that particular reason - Kimiko didn't have the courage to defend herself, so Keiko started teaching her how to deal with the oppressors. Just punch them, even if it means the adults would punish you for that.
As a result, Keiko would land at the principal's office sometimes. 'Why did you punch Kenzo, young lady?' 'Because he deserved it!' - Keiko's best trait was her bravery and straightforwardness.
So, it is not a surprise Kimiko started admiring her. She noticed that compared to her, she was too shy and quiet. Just like a candle's flame, which is about to snuff out. She wanted to be acknowledged by her peers and with Keiko's help, she was finally able to assert herself.
What I'm trying to say, if it weren't for Keiko, Kimiko wouldn't be such a badass in the series. Keiko helped her grow into that awesome young lady we know and love <3
2. Keiko is into fashion!
and by 'she likes fashion' I actually mean she's mad keen on fashion
Kimiko's cool wardrobe and iconic outfits every episode? It's all Keiko's influence!
Kimiko's interest in fashion has awakened thanks to Keiko. One day Keiko suggested it could help with her anxieties. It worked. Not only did it build Kimiko's confidence, but also it made her more satisfied with her overall appearance.
girls' dressing up pajama parties. They include talking about boys/crushes, painting nails (Keiko is an expert), and sorting through fashion magazines for inspiration! And of course, trying out new clothes bought this week! And discussing which accessories would match the most.
Keiko is that type of friend, who tries to cheer you up in the most unusual ways. She says 'I know a place' and some time later you two end up in front of a big mall. She hotheadedly believes shopping could kill any sadness.
she's pretty good at designing clothes and coming up with outfit ideas. She's reconsidering a job as a fashion designer
that's why she's learning how to sew, knit, and everything (besides, that awareness her bestie is learning the hard way how to be a monk warrior made Keiko kinda desperate to start achieving her dreams too)
At school, she is often reprimanded because she violates the dress code, like... EVERYDAY. She thinks this kind of policy kills off the student's individuality.
3. Keiko usually puts a blame on herself in order to save Kimiko from trouble or she basically covers for her.
when Kimiko had her 'screw the rules' phase, in which she also decided to wear whatever she liked instead of the school uniform, Keiko would always put the teachers' focus on herself to buy Kimiko more time to dress in uniform in girls' toilet.
There is a whole elaborate operation on how to exit the school safely in 'normal clothes' without worrying someone would rat them out
Every time someone new recognizes Kimiko for her surname, Keiko chimes in and says that person they got it wrong and Kimiko is not the daughter of that famous games guy. Keiko is just a lifesaver, ok? She knows Kimiko would never want to start off a friendship in which others care more about her money/status. Keiko is just helping to get rid of jerks, that's all. Once they hear Kimiko is not THAT TOHOMIKO they quickly lose interest.
4. Speaking of Toshiro, he finds the girl an amazing friend and loves to have her around. To her objection, he gives her something extra as a gift.
'Yo, Kimi your dad gave me the 4th mp3 player this month tell him to stop'. 'Bold of you to assume I can control my dad's actions when it comes to you'
but Tamagotchi's are cool. That kind of gift is most appreciated
When Toshiro asks her to test some toys or games, she's eager whether Kimiko's around or not.
Keiko would sometimes express a slight irritation when Kimiko buys her something more expensive for her b-day. Thank god Kimiko is good at making her bff come round to some things.
5. Keiko comes from a mixed background. In fact, she's half Japanese and half American. Hence, her broad knowledge of the American latest fashion trends.
oh and she teaches Kimiko English! (She encourages Kimiko to cheat on their English tests lol, but Kimiko often criticizes that idea) For Kimiko more talking practice is a way better method of learning the language rather than the English lessons they have at school.
Keiko shares with Kimiko American brands of clothes, cosmetics, and accessories. It's easy for her to order such products because of her parents' connections
It turned out rather long. The only thing I would like to add to this list of headcanons is how I picture Keiko.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are two of these AI generated pics, although I prefer the 2nd one more. I see her as a girl with a darker skin tone than Kimiko (although she claims Kimi is the beautiful one of their duo. She would sometimes tell Kimiko she's so jealous of how pretty she is), with short-ish, messy hair. She's got brown eyes. Oh and she dyes her hair quite a lot. Her natural hair color is dark brown but in order to look original, she opts for more vibrant colors. One month her hair is green, the next one- blue, blond anything she feels like it. Man, that girl's hairstyle modifications have a long history! However, Keiko's favorite hue is a mix of purple, red and pink. One time she cosplayed Megurine Luka and she had pink hair for a year (that's an impressive amount of time taking into consideration she prefers changing her hair color every month). She has to wear dangling earrings every day. If she forgets her earrings - it's almost the end of the world for her. Most of her earrings have a butterfly or flower theme.
So, yeah Kimiko adapted more or less Keiko's style, but she said from the start she doesn't want to dye her hair. So, Keiko bought her the first wig and this is how Kimiko gained her collection of wigs from the series! Keiko herself owns a couple of wigs too, for herself to wear and for fashion projects, she's working on.

“Have you been here for a long time?”
“Have you been here for a long time?”
“Have you been here for a long time?”
Time bends and twists into unknowns shapes when well spent. So, you’re so not sure. Long enough for your fairy garden to start looking like at least a proper garden, long enough for your feet to start fidgeting, brushing against the soft fabric of the blanket ever so slightly and softly.
“Can you share your screen?”
“I’m just picking flowers, there’s nothing much to see,” you warn but it never does the proper job.
“That’s fine, I like watching you play.”
“Oh, do you now?”
“Yeah. You’ve been playing for years and you’re still dog water. It's almost soothing,” you hear him grin through the silkiness of his voice.
You smile evasively, palm gripping the mouse and executing on memory. Soon, Sapnap’s satisfied noises hovers and everything is just how it’s supposed to be. You spend a while humming the music of days and nights of the game while building your project. Sap helps from time to time, giving advice when his attention is there and leaving trails of compliments on his way. You don’t think the garden is necessarily that good, you don’t mind either.
“Do you think the tree should go on the left or the right of the pond?” You ask, fingers drumming back and forth between the two options. Right he says. "What about the roses, do I plant some or not?"
“It’s just a detail, don’t hurt your brain too much on that,” he says in a light tone, but you disagree.
“Details are what make things important. Like when you remember I prefer warm pillows so you give me yours, it’s just a detail but it makes me happy.”
“Of course I do; you’re a baby,” he murmurs teasingly.
With an arched eyebrow, you retort, “says you,” and silence follows for a second as you plant the tree on the right of the pond.
“Yeah, Dream already made sure I was aware of that.”
“Not sure why the piss baby thinks he’s qualified to have this conversation, buddy,” you note and Sap chuckles are as vivid as contagious. “Why would he call you a baby anyway? What have you done?”
“I-I’m not telling you.” As soon as the mumbles fades, your phone sends loud vibrations on your desk. You abandon your character to the night and the wildness, picking the phone as you murmur a low oh, okay. Whether it’s to your phone or Sapnap, that, isn’t really clear. Still, Sapnap’s words sound more distant, more of what wonders are made of. On the screen, a twitter notification of a certain Karl Jacobs.
Tumblr media
“You’re not even listening to me anymore,” Sapnap whines.
“I don’t listen to whiny babies, sorry.”
“We’re on the verge of divorce, yn and it’s your fault.”
A scoff skitters out through teasing lips, “But you still talk about me all the time, don’t you?” Your voice drags through different lands, unknown and musky.
“So what?” He splutters all awkward like it’s some kind of confidence that shouldn’t have left his thoughts and, somehow, you’re surprised the almighty confidence has left the game. “Who said that?”
“Doesn’t matter. You’re obsessed with me, admit it,” you demand and though you don’t notice it, too tangled with the moment, the atmosphere is tinted with a different nuance like it’s suddenly dawn at the end of a summer party.
“So are you.”
Now, your heart drums a strange yet familiar rhythm. Something made of secrets and uncertainty, something you decided to leave unnamed a long time ago. Sapnap, you reason, can’t be lied to. He knows better than words half meant, half made up and it’s annoying, really, but he just does somehow. If you dare to lie, he would know and then it would be even more annoying.
“Yeah, you’re living in my head rent free but at least I’m not trying to hide it.” No answer. You peek at the game, you’ve been slain by a spider. “Karl said that,” you resign yourself. “He said he was about to join the vc by the way.”
Before the conversation can carry on, the sound of Karl joining the call resonates. Being in this Discord server is like living in a house with 10 siblings, that’s what you understand from the way Sap exhales heavily.
“Oh, I am interrupting something?” Karl says, struck by a peculiar energy.
“Besties time Karl, besties time,” Sapnap mumbles beneath his breath and it chimes a little like disappointment.
“Well, too bad I guess,” Karl exclaims. “It's about time I meet miss Bunnyshow.”
Karl is like that gif of a cat sitting in a tiny box with the caption “if it fits, I sit”.
“Does that mean our passive aggressive subweet arc is over?” You ask, faking the dejection when your smile grows wide.
“Oh god, I hope not. That’s my favorite part of the day.”
"It means a lot to me. Especially coming from my comfort streamer Karl Jacobs," you confess.
Satisfied, your attention gets back on the game; flowers rooting gracefully into the dirt and hives ready to host the beloved honey bugs as Karl and Sap catch up on time being apart. Everything is quiet and peaceful like the end of an afternoon well spent.
“I like your garden,” Karl points out and you hum a thank you beneath your breath.
“So you can take Karl’s compliments but not mine.”
“We’re besties you’re honor. Sapnap you can leave now, thank you,” Karl giggles and you follow along.
“Sorry Karl, there’s only room for one man in my heart and that has to be Sapnap.”
He fakes a cry to keep the theatrics before adding without transitions, “You know if you asked Dream he’d probably let you on the SMP.”
“No thanks,” you grin.
“Sapnap, your girl doesn’t want to play with us.”
“She’s already been whitelisted for months now,” Sapnap informs but fails to comment on the first part of the complaint.
He’s not lying, but you feel like it says more about Dream’s stubbornness than it says about you. As for your best friend, he understands better than anyone that wish for privacy and it’s something made of respect like yours for his career. You’d rather see him shaped by all the light than being touched by a glimpse of it. He does, after all, deserves it all. So, that’s the contract you made with yourself because it made sense; being a supportive shadow. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that you’ve never considered streaming before. It’s that it’s his world more than yours.
Karl, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to think the same way, “This is unacceptable, I gotta send a few texts.”
“Lost cause, dude, lost cause,” you grin but stubbornness seems to be a pre required trait for those mcyts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before you have time to find a suitable comment about the newborn group chat, a new person joins the call and Sapnap's annoyance is even more palpable, "No fucking way dude. We can't even have a second of peace on this server."
"Why would you be in a discord call if you want peace. You're just dumb," Quackity retorts with an energy he and he only can ever own.
Then George joins and Dream follows on his heels and soon your ears are filled with conversations that are as loud as scattered. Your shoulders sink in the back of your chair as soft fingers try to brush the upcoming migraine away. This is why you can't join the SMP; -not really but still- too much energy that has to be processed at all time. And you should know better, being friend with a very chaotic boy for the last 15 years, but you're not somehow.
"No, fuck that," Sapnap mutters. "I'm out."
"You can't leave now we have things to discuss," George exclaims. "Bunny, explain to me how Sapnap's proposition is more appealing than mine."
"Because I know her more than you do," he defends, and he's right. Money isn't of you interest. Love, on the other hand...
"Because she's like scronch'love," Karl giggles mindlessly.
"The fuck does scronch'love mean?" You ask, amused.
"It's very simple," Quackity intervenes. "If I offered you the same thing, would you even consider it?"
"Of course I would. What kind of question is that?"
"Fine. So, if Sapnap keeps his offer, here is mine; you become the president of Las Nevadas in addition to what he said."
"What?" Sapnap takes offense.
The call brims with an agitated confusion as you smile deviously, heels rooted into the floor to make your chair spin lightly and your fingers drum on your desk.
"I don't think you wanna do that," George corrects.
"Yeah, you absolutely don't," you confirm.
"Fine," he retorts. "So Sapnap's offer plus a Las Nevadas citizenship. How does that sound?"
"Like an offer I'll confider," you sigh. "So who's scronch'love now?"
"Still you," Dream answers. "Except you're also a big dummy."
.・゜゜・ ・゜゜・ .・゜゜・ ・゜゜・
A/N : helloooo,, how are you??? this part very self indulgent and I think this fic will be in general but I hope you liked it anyway. I love the idea of c!quackity always being too much and always having something to add to be even more over the top. I'm having more trouble than I thought about Bunny's and Sap's friendship because I want them to have a very special friendship but I hope it appears as such. idk. lmk what you think and thank you for reading it it makes me very happy <3 Until next time (ɔˆ ³(ˆ⌣ˆc)

Hiii! Can you do one Hyde and y/n are secretly together bc she’s Forman’s sister but Kelso is always flirting with y/n and it upsets Hyde so maybe Kelso and Hyde get into it and they admit they are together?
Yes, baby doll! Thank you for being patient with me <3
Told You So
Steven Hyde x reader
Tumblr media
"Hey, good lookin'," Kelso said smoothly to Y/n as he slid in the booth seat of the Hub.
Y/n rolled her eyes at him as she scooted away from him. "Kelso, do you mind? I'm trying to eat here."
"What's a pretty girl like you doing here by yourself?" he asked, completely ignoring her.
"Because I want to be," she said and slammed the book she was reading. "And why are you acting like that? We see each other everyday."
"Yeah, but we're not alone everyday," he replied and scooted closer. "Now we are."
"There's a reason for that, Kelso." She shifted further away from him, closer to the edge, but all that did was make him shift with her. "If Eric found out what you've been trying to do, he'd kick your ass."
"Oh, come on, he doesn't have to know!"
"Kelso, even if we did, you wouldn't be able to keep your fat mouth shut. When you were with Laurie, you announced it to the whole world that you slept with her. I don't need that." She gathered up her stuff and started to head out, but Kelso stood up with her.
"So, you're saying there's a chance?" he grinned stupidly at her.
"No, you dink," she spat and pushed passed him. "I don't like you and I don't want to get with you. Why don't you get that?"
She walked outside while Kelso watched her leave, staring at her ass.
"She totally wants me."
Later in the basement...
"I don't know why he even keeps hitting on me," Y/n said to Donna, Jackie, and Hyde while in the basement. Donna and Y/n sat on the couch, Jackie in the lawn chair, and Hyde in his usual seat. "We've been friends forever and he never looked at me like that until, like, a year ago."
"Well, have you looked in a mirror lately?" Hyde asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"Do you notice your new shirt fillers?"
Y/n looked down at herself, then realized what he meant. "You're saying he's trying to get me in the sack because of my knockers?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying," Hyde grinned. "Even a blind man can see how much you've grown into your shirts."
"Ugh, what a pig," Jackie sneered. "I'm glad I broke up with him."
"Jackie, to be fair, you broke up with him because he cheated on you," Donna pointed out.
"Eh, whatever," Jackie said, flapping her hand to the side.
"Okay, seriously, guys, how do I get him to stop?" Y/n asked, turning the conversation back around. "Eric gets pissed and tells him to shut up, but he finds new ways to still hit on me."
"Tell him to get bent and that you've found someone else," Hyde suggested.
Y/n eyed him suspiciously. "Kelso may be a bonehead, but when it comes to women and sex, he's freaking Sherlock Holmes."
"Well, then lie."
"Lie?" Y/n asked and fully turned to him. "And say what? That I'm seeing someone so back off before he kicks your ass?"
"Exactly."
Y/n thought about it for a minute and then turned to the girls. "What do you girls think?"
Donna and Jackie shrugged.
"It could work," Jackie said.
"I don't think it's a bad idea," Donna responded. "Kelso doesn't like competition. He'll bitch a lot, but at least he'll back off."
Y/n shrugged. "It's worth a try."
"Good," Jackie said and stood up. "I should get going. My mom is going to attempt to make dinner tonight. If you see the fire department at my house, you'll know what happened." She walked over to the door and tugged it open. "But on the bright side, there'll be lots of fireman. Bye!"
"Maybe I can get a piece of that action," Y/n joked, making Donna laugh.
"I better get going too," she said. "I have to meet your brother at the hub for our date."
"Ohhh, where's he taking you? Mt. Hump?" Hyde asked.
"Ew, gross! Hyde!" Y/n shrieked, making Hyde laugh. "That's my little brother."
"Little?" Hyde asked. "You guys are only ten months apart."
"I'm still older by a couple months."
"Whatever you say," Hyde said, unconcerned and crossed his arms.
"Actually, no, he's taking me somewhere else for once," Donna said, grabbing her coat. "He says it's a surprise."
"I can guarantee his surprise is what's in his pants," Hyde said.
Donna rolled her eyes and looked at Y/n. "Good luck with him."
Y/n nodded as she watched Donna leave the basement. She turned back to him who was staring at her through his aviators. "Now I know what's on your mind."
"How could it not be when you're here looking like that," he responded and stood up only to crawl his way onto her, making her lie on her back.
A smirk played at her lips as she reached up and removed his glasses, finally seeing those blown pupils in his baby blue eyes. "Looking like what, Mr. Hyde?"
He growled at the nickname as he dipped his head into her neck, peppering her flesh with light kisses. She closed her eyes and leaned her head to the side to give him more access.
"All hot and don't even know it," he muttered, trailing his hands up her blouse. He brought his face up to meet hers and pressed his mouth against hers.
"You are mine," he growled when he pulled apart from her. "Not Kelso's. Mine."
She nodded. "Now show me just why I'm yours."
The next day...
The gang hung out in the basement as usual as the tv played quietly in the background. Y/n sat on the couch wearing a mini skirt wearing Hyde's Led Zepplin shirt, reading a magazine. Kelso couldn't help but stare at her bare sun kissed legs, his eyes roaming and try to see under her skirt.
"Stop staring at me," Y/n demanded.
"Well, I'm sorry, Y/n, but you're freakin' hot!" he responded.
"Hey, Kelso, have you tried not hitting on my sister?" Eric asked calmly, yet sarcastically.
"I gotta, Eric," Kelso asked. "It's like asking me not to breathe!" He snapped his fingers and pointed at Y/n. "I know! We should do it."
Y/n shook her head, keeping her eyes glued to the magazine. "You are as dumb as you are pretty."
Kelso smirked and leaned on the arm rest next to her, face inches from hers. "So, you're saying I'm pretty?"
She tore her eyes from the magazine and made eye contact with him, noses barley brushing, and glared at him. "Bite me, Kelso," she spit before pushing his face away from hers.
"Is that a promise?," Kelso asked, smirking.
Hyde walked out of his room in that moment, seeing Kelso on the floor and Y/n sitting on the couch. When he moved from behind the couch to his seat, he noticed Y/n wearing his shirt. "Is that my shirt?"
Y/n looked up at him with a hint of innocence in her eyes. "Yeah, I saw it in the dryer and thought it looked comfy. Plus, I thought it'd look good with this skirt. Is that okay?"
"Um," he replied, swallowing thickly as he scanned her body, especially at her smooth and shapely legs. "Yeah. It's whatever."
She grinned at him. "Thank you."
"Whoa," Eric said as he stood from the couch. "Since when do you let chicks wear your shirts?"
Hyde shrugged. "I never had a problem with it to begin with."
"Yes, you did," Donna said with a smile on her face. "You said that no girl will ever your shirts unless you're banging her." Her eyes grew wide as she shot up from her seat. "Are you two sleeping together?!"
"What?" Y/n asked calmly. "Don't be crazy; of course we're not."
"Good, because you know if you were, I'd have to kick your ass, Hyde," Eric said, relief flooding over him as he went over to the fridge to grab a popsicle.
"What's the big deal? It's just a shirt," Hyde replied and set his feet up on the table, crossing his arms. "Besides, I live here. Why would it be weird?"
"I don't know," Fez replied. "I mean it's pretty obvious you have the hots for her."
"Shut up, Fez," Hyde said threateningly. "I do not."
"Oh, sure," he replied quietly.
"So, on this whole doing it," Kelso said and knelt down next to Y/n. "Are we doing it or not?"
Hyde didn't hesitate to reach over and connect his fist as hard he could to Kelso's shoulder.
"Ow, Hyde! What the hell was that for?"
Hyde grinned at his dopey best friend. He tried his hardest not to just beat the ever living hell out of him, but luckily for him, he had a good poker face. "Just love messing with you, man."
Kelso went from offended to laughing in seconds. "That's a good one." He turned back to Y/n. "So, what do you say?"
"You know, you begging me like this is kinda hot," Y/n commented with hooded eyes.
"Oh, yeah?" Kelso asked, shifting to be eye level with her.
"Yeah," she smiled and inhaled deeply.
"Y/n, what the hell are you doing?" Hyde asked.
"Yeah, what he said," Eric said. "Look, I don't need Kelso sleeping with both my sisters AND worry about knocking her up to. It's like a weird porno soap opera."
"You know what also is really hot?" Y/n asked, ignoring her brother and secret boyfriend.
"What?" he giggled, loving how close they were.
"Leaving me alone!" she responded and hit him with the magazine she was holding.
The group chuckled as Kelso stood up. "Damn, Y/n, I just wanted to get a little action!"
"Leave her alone, man. It's like you're deaf," Hyde said, annoyed.
"Hey, I've never given up on a girl before and I'm not going to start now!" Kelso defended.
"Well, you better!" Hyde said, growing frustrated. "I'm tired of hearing this everyday, man. So, shut up and leave her alone before I make you."
"Damn, Hyde, what's got your panties in a twist?" Kelso asked glumly and stood up.
"Nothing. I'm just tired of hearing you everyday trying to get into her pants! So, knock it off!"
"Well, it's not like she's your girlfriend, so you knock it off!" Kelso argued.
"Really? That's the best you can do?" Hyde asked, smirking.
The entire time the two men were arguing, Y/n found herself, staring incredulously at them as if she was a prize.
"Well, I can tell you to get bent and I'll do whatever I like, but I know you'll hit me," Kelso said.
"You just basically said it to me, you moron!" Hyde said, yelling. "And now I'm going to hit you."
Kelso took a couple steps back, backing away from Hyde. "You do that and it will not end well for you."
"Okay, guys stop it!" Y/n shouted, jumping up from her seat. "This isn't cool. Kelso sit down over there," she said pointing to the lawn chair. "And Hyde, sit down over there." She pointed to his usual seat.
Hyde and Kelso glared at each other for a minute.
"Fine," Hyde said and turned around.
"Fine," Kelso repeated and sat down in the lawn chair. "But I think something else that would've been interested to know on what exactly I was going to do."
As everyone looked at him in confusion, Kelso reached into his pocket and pulled out a pair of pink panties.
"What the hell, Kelso?!" Y/n shrieked. "Are those my panties?!"
Kelso smirked in victory as he held the panties close to his ear. "What's that panties? You want me to do what to you? Oh, I can't do that. Naughty panties!" He clapped the cotton fabric between his hands and glanced over at Hyde who was practically steaming from the ears.
"You're dead," Hyde spat through gritted teeth and practically lunged at Kelso.
Before Kelso could react, Hyde was on top of him, his fists hitting wherever they would land.
"Hyde! What the--Ow! My eye!" Kelso shouted.
Before Hyde could connect his fist once more, he felt two arms wrap under his arms and around his chest and was pulled off the man.
"Hyde, get off of him before you really hurt him!" Eric shouted, trying to be heard over Kelso's wailing.
"What is it with you?!" Kelso asked. "We're just messing around!"
"No, you're not!" Hyde yelled, ripping himself from Eric's grip. "You're being a complete tool to Y/n."
"Why do you care this much?" Kelso asked with Y/n's panties still in hand. Y/n walked over and snatched her panties back from his grip.
"Because she's my chick, man!" Hyde blurted, but quickly realized what he just said as he saw everyone's wide eyes on him. Except for Y/n who was eyeing her brother.
"She's...she's your...what now?" Eric sputtered.
"Uhm...I meant...she's a--a chick," Hyde said, trying to save himself.
"No, no. No, no. You just she's your chick," Jackie corrected, pointing a finger at him. "Don't try to wiggle yourself out of this one."
"She's...uh--uh...Y/n, a little help here?" he asked his girlfriend who was standing there awkwardly.
"What he meant to say was that as a woman he respects me and he didn't appreciate Kelso's boneheaded advances towards me," she said, rather smoothly even though her voice wavered.
Eric stared at his sister wide eyed with his mouth open. "You guys are dating?"
The couple sighed in defeat as Hyde rubbed his hot neck. "Yeah."
Y/n nodded, trying not to look Eric in the eye.
"Have you two...had s-sex?" Eric stuttered, forcing that image out of his mind.
"Eric!" Donna said. "You don't ask that."
"Do you really want to know that answer?" Hyde asked.
Eric screwed his eyes shut, now the image really colorful behind his eyelids. He shoved the heel of his hand deep into his eyes until he saw different shapes, desperate to erase the unholy sin that was between his sister and best friend.
"How long?" Kelso asked after he was able to get over the initial shock enough to speak.
"About a month," Y/n responded with a strong voice.
"A month?!" Eric cried out. "You've been screwing my sister for a month?! Oh, God." He forced himself to swallow the bile that had risen up his throat.
"You sure it hasn't been longer than that?" Jackie asked. "Because, you know, sometimes, time can feel a lot shorter when you're...having fun."
"Don't call it that!" Eric yelled and eyed the couple who were now standing near each other. "This can't be happening. This can't be happening! My best friend and my sister bumping uglies? Why would you two do this?"
"Because I like him?" Y/n challenged. "And he likes me."
"Yeah, man. We're not just fooling around."
"I don't care what you're doing or not doing!" Eric shouted, face turning red. "You went behind my back and starting dating my sister when you knew it would bother me!"
"Forman--"
"No! Don't even--! You know what? I--I can't stay here. I need some air," Eric said before he stormed out the basement.
The couple looked after him, sighing and turned back to the group.
"By the way, yes, it's been a month," Y/n said, answering Jackie's question.
"Ah, damn!" she replied and pulled out ten dollar bill from her wallet and handed it to Fez.
Fez whooped and gleefully took the money. "Told you!"
I hope you enjoyed this one! Let me know if there is anything I could've added! Thanks for reading my lovely.

Dress | Jess Mariano
Jess Mariano x reader
Summary: Based on the song Dress by Taylor Swift
Tumblr media
You flattened your palms against powder blue, paisley covered cami dress you were wearing. It fell right below your mid thigh and you absolutely adored it. You spotted it shopping with your best friend the weekend before and just had to have it, even if it cost you half of your paycheck.
As much as you hated to admit it, your first thought after sliding it on was what Jess’s reaction would be. Not that he was the most expressive guy out there— but a part of you hoped he’d at least tell you that you looked nice.
You didn’t need validation— you knew you looked good. You just wanted to hear it from the dark haired boy who occupied your mind way more then you’d ever admit.
Somehow the pair of you had become best friends, much to the surprise of everyone in Stars Hallow. You had quite a few arguments with Taylor defending the boy.
You spent so much time at Luke’s that you practically lived there and eventually Jess was forced to talk to you. Turns out you actually had a lot in common, specifically in the relm of music and movie taste. He’d spend his lunch and dinner breaks tucked away with you at your designated table towards the back of the restaurant, with a window facing the gazebo. You liked to look out on the lights while you listened to music on your walkman.
The second you layed eyes on Jess Mariano your stomach swarmed with butterflies. While you were looking at him, he was looking at Rory Gilmore.
You didn’t want to be just best friends.
You grabbed your bright pink purse, tossing Kafka’s Metamorphosis inside along with your walkman and slipped on a cropped white cardigan. A part of you hopped it wasn’t too dressy— the other part didn’t care.
You had sat in Luke’s in a full Wolf Man costume before, so it didn’t exactly matter.
The walk to Luke’s was short, with you sharing pleasentries with various townsfolk that you passed by. Miss. Patty was sure to compliment your dress.
Your headphones were already pulled over your head by the time you entered the dinner, shooting Luke a quick smile and wave as you settled into your normal seat. You always came after rush hour so you wouldn’t have to worry about it being taken— by then everyone knew who the seat belonged to.
You didn’t notice Jess’s gaze on your back as you stood facing the table, pulling the book from your bag as you took a seat.
An itch at the back of your neck prompted you to turn your head, catching his wide eyes looking in your direction. Knowing better, you didn’t think anything of it, only shooting Jess a grin and opening the book to your latest spot.
Luke shoved his nephew’s shoulder as he passed by, ripping the damp cloth from his hands, “Close your mouth before a bug flies in there.”
Luke thought you were both idiots. When one of you wasn’t staring, the other was. He had just about had it, honestly.
“I’m taking my lunch,” Jess muttered, throwing his notepad on the counter and sitting opposite of you at your table. His own book was in his hand, some Jane Austen novel that Rory recommended.
“Right,” Luke sighed, watching the two of you take turns looking over your books at the other person, “ridiculous.”
“Why are you dressed like an extra in Clueless?” Jess finally questioned, thumbing the pages of his small book.
You rolled your eyes, moving your headphones to rest on the table, “You watch romcoms often? Didn’t take you for the type— but no judgement here,” you threw up your hands, book still clutched tightly in the left one.
“Shut up, Rory made me watch it.”
Your jaw clenched at that, not that Jess would notice. “Right, well it’s called a dress. People wear them when they don’t wanna wear pants,” you replied, eyes returning to your book.
Not exactly the reaction you had imagined.
“What, you gotta date or something?”
“Yup,” you confirmed, not noticing the change in Jess’s demeanor, “Luke and I have been dating for weeks. We just didn’t want to freak you out, probably should’ve told you sooner,” you smirked, holding your blue checked mug out for the diner owner as he passed your table.
“Thanks, hun,” you winked at the older man.
“Never, ever do that again,” he instructed, pointing a finger in your direction before quickly walking away with the coffee pot.
“Then why are you wearing it?” He pressured.
Honestly you didn’t understand the big deal. You were half tempted to slap the back of his head and scream ‘i’m wearing it so you’ll notice me, idiot,’ but the fear of embarrassment quickly took that off of the table.
“It’s just a dress, I don’t understand why you’re making such a big deal out of it,” you shrugged, pulling at the sleeve of your cardigan.
Jess huffed out a laugh, “Whatever.”
“You know, you can just tell me I look nice and we can move on. I know you have the communication skills of a fifth grader, but I promise it won’t kill you. I’m not gonna mount you over the table if that’s what you’re worried about,” you replied, raising a brow in challenge. Something about the dress must’ve been helping your confidence.
Even Jess was surprised, coughing out loud for a few seconds before settling down.
“What, don’t know how to compliment a girl?”
“I know how to compliment a girl,” he finally smirked, leaning over the table with his arms crossed. Jess’s face was so close to yours that you could feel his breath fan your face.
“Oh really— shit,” you hissed, recoiling as coffee spilled down the front of your pretty new dress.
Jess quickly leaned back with wide eyes, realizing what he had done. “Shit, I’m sorry,” he stood up, walking over to you and helping you stand.
“What the hell happened?” Luke questioned, his eyes shifting between the two of you— more specifically the coffee all over you and his semi-clean floors.
“Slick over here,” you hissed, pointing a finger at Jess, “didn’t like the dress apparently.”
“So you poured coffee on it?” Luke questioned his nephew in exasperation, not putting anything past the boy.
“Wha- no! I like the dress, it’s a very nice dress. I just knocked the coffee over. Accidentally.”
“Very nice, huh?”
“We’re not doing this,” Luke interrupted what was probably about to be more flirting, “you two go upstairs. Let her clean up and borrow some of your clothes. And then you’ll pay for her very nice dress to be dry cleaned. Capiche?”
“Got it,” Jess replied, grabbing your arm gently and pulling you behind him.
“I knew you liked the dress,” you whispered as you made your way through the small diner and up the stairs.
“Shut up,” Jess grinned, opening the door.
You looked around curiously, waiting as he rummaged through his dresser. The space was very small— it was obviously a squeeze for both of their belongs plus the little kitchen and living room area. But it was very Luke. You imagined it was much more tightly before Jess came to town.
“Here,” he gestured for you to hold out your hands, handing you a tee shirt, some sweatpants, and a washcloth. The clothes were too long but it would work for the walk back home. “The bathroom is in there,” he pointed to the only other door in the apartment beside the closet and front one. “I’ll wait for you out here.”
You looked in the mirror, rolling your eyes at your appearance. Of course coffee would spill on your new dress because why wouldn’t it? You reached around back to pull down the zipper, cursing when your arms wouldn’t reach.
And now you’d be forced into the cliche of asking the cute boy to help you unzip. At least your initial intentions were coming true, even if they weren’t in the way you had hoped. The idea of Jess removing the dress had definitely come up in a fantasy while you waited in the checkout line.
You opened the door, sighing loud enough for the boy to hear. “I need your help.”
“You need my help?” He repeated with a question mark, looking over at you. He felt bad, sure, but the desire to laugh at your coffee covered frame was definitely present.
“Yes Polly, I need help. I can’t reach the zipper.”
You turned around, pulling your hair over your shoulder. Your eyes closed as you braced yourself, listening to Jess’s footsteps draw closer. You could feel his presence behind you as he came to a stop— seemingly a little unsure aswell.
“Speed it up, Mariano,” you grumbled, cursing the heat that rushed to your cheeks, “I don’t have all day.”
“Shut up,” he quipped, placing a hand on your waist to steady himself before grabbing the zipper with his other one.
He was slow to pull it down, the heat from his knuckes dancing down your spine as more skin was revealed. You could feel his breath hitch against the back of your neck, making your brows furrow.
He stopped right above the end of your spine, hands lingering in place as both of you refused to speak. The air was palpable, the heat of his hands permiating the thin cotton fabric against your waist. Slowly you turned your head, your eyes meeting his as you held your breath.
He brought the hand that was unzipping your dress up to cup your neck, gaze lingering on your once gloss covered lips. “You look really beautiful in this dress,” he muttered before pulling you in for a searing kiss.
It was fast, both of you out of breath after almost a few seconds— “I look really good without the dress too.”

I've got you - Derek Morgan x fem!reader part3
A/N: Thanks to @wanniiieeee for the idea:)
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1907
***= time skip
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I checked my phone for what felt like the hundredth time in the past 20 minutes, my body wracked with nerves. After that night at Derek’s, he’d asked me to be his girlfriend and obviously I’d said yes. It was still incredibly new for us, seeing as it had only happened a few days back, but I couldn’t be happier. There were only two things weighing on my shoulders – telling the BAU lot, and Sean. I felt so guilty. Even though me and Sean were nowhere near being official as we’d only been out on a few dates, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d gone behind his back. He’d been nothing but sweet to me and the thought of hurting his feelings was killing me. But I knew I couldn’t be happy with him, not in that way anyway. Derek had suggested to just call him, but this felt more like something that needed to be done in person. So, I’d texted him asking if he wanted to grab a coffee and that I needed to talk to him.
“Hey, sorry I’m late traffic was a nightmare” He said, smiling as he sat down.
“Yeah no worries I get it.” I replied, returning his grin. “So how are you? How’s work going?”
“Yeah I’m doing good. The jobs going great, this new bakery I’m working at is so much better than the last place. You should swing by sometime; I might be able to snag you a free doughnut.” He joked.
“Oh, for free food? I’ll do anything” I said trying to hide my nerves. Sean cleared his throat.
“So, what did you want to talk about?” Here goes nothing. I took a deep breathe before answering.
“Um, the thing is that I- well you know, you’re a great guy but- it’s just- I don’t wanna-“ I stumbled over my words, unsure of how to phrase it.
“Just take a breath Y/N, it’s okay.” Sean said calmly.
“Me and Derek are together.” I blurted out.
I held my breath as my eyes scanned over him, trying to get a grasp as to what he might be feeling. Anger. Hurt. Betrayal. All of the above. But just like his brother, he was impossible to read. He was leant back in his chair, just sort of looking ahead of him. A neutral expression on his face.
“Sean I’m so sorry, I don’t even know how it happened – it just kind of did. You’re such a great guy and if it’s not to selfish of me I’d love to remain friends? But if your mad at me or anything like that I will totally understand.” I rambled anxiously.
Sean let out a small chuckle at my rushed state before leaning forward and placing his hands over mine.
“I’m not mad. These things happen you know. And as much as I enjoyed the dates we had; nothing was set in stone it was all relatively new so don’t feel bad about anything. We will definitely remain friends, I still need my drinking buddy.” He said nudging me arm. “I hope you and Derek will be happy together.” He gave me a genuine smile allowing me to relax.
“Thank you for understanding.”
“It’s all good” He replied. “So, what did my brother think?”
I chuckled, relaxing back into my seat.
“We haven’t told any of his team yet. I’m actually going there later to tell them.”
“Wow today is full of confessions”
“You got that right.”
Me and Sean spent the next few hours chatting about anything and everything
. Suddenly my phone rang, and Derek’s name flashed on the screen.
“Sorry I’ll be a minute” I said before standing up to take the call.
“Hey Derek”
“Hey you. How’s my favourite girl doing?”
“I don’t know I haven’t spoken to Garcia today” I teased.
“Hey, come on now, you know you’re my favourite.” He replied.
“Come off it, we all know Garcia will forever hold that position. But that’s okay because not only do I love her, but I’m also the one you come home to every night.”
“And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
I could practically hear his smile through the phone.
“Anyway, to what do I owe the pleasure of this call?” I asked.
“Well, I wanted to see what time you’d be coming by the office. Oh, and check to see how things went with Sean”
“Things with Sean went great. He was so understanding and not mad at all. We’ve literally just been talking for hours. I don’t know why I was so stressed.”
“Because you overthink everything” Derek quipped.
“Um rude”
“But true”
I rolled my eyes while biting back at smile.
“Whatever. I’ll probably be able to come by in about 10 minutes. Sean has to get to work anyways.”
“Okay I’ll see you in a bit then.”
“Yep see you soon.”
“I love you gorgeous.”
“I love you too idiot”
I hung up the phone before he could bite back a response. Shoving my phone in my pocket I headed back into the café.
“Hey, so I guess it’s time for me to tell the team.” I said to Sean.
“Ah the time has come.” He laughed, standing up. “Well good luck, and if any of them give you shit – let me know”
“Sean in the nicest way possible, what could you possibly do? Tell them off?” I joked.
“Hey! I’ll have you know I can be quite intimidating when I like to be” He defend.
“Mhm sure you can. Now run along to your bakery.”
“You wound me. Truly.”
I laughed before waving goodbye to him and jumping back in my car.
**********************************************************************
The elevator ride to the BAU department was probably the most nerve-wracking trip. I was trying to convince myself that if Sean could accept it, there should be no reason for these lot not to. But to be honest, I think I was more worried about the a million questions we were about to get bombarded with. I mean Emily was already rooting for us. So yep, definitely more freaked for the questions. Derek was right, I over think stuff too damn much. As the doors open, I saw the man himself waiting at his desk for me. As his eyes caught mine, he flashed me that heart melting smile making me forget any worries I had.
“Hey” He greeted before wrapping his arms around me. “You nervous?”
“Nah. I was but realistically what’s there to be nervous about? At the end of the day, I still have you and that’s all I need.” I replied. He smiled brightly at me before leading me into the bullpen.
“Y/N! It’s good to see you.” Spencer called.
“Hey spence. It’s good to see you too.”
“Hey pretty boy, do you know where the others are? I wanna talk to you all.”
Spencer’s brow furrowed. “Is everything okay?”
“Everything’s fine. Can you just grab the others? We’ll wait in the meeting room.” Derek replied before heading to the stairs. I saw Spencer shoot us a look before getting up to find the team. Derek leant back on the table.
“So how are you planning on telling them?” He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Me? I’m not telling them you are.”
“Why me?”
“Derek they’re your team. Not mine. Plus, I already had to tell Sean and that was stressful enough as it is so why would i-“
“Baby hey, stop pacing I was joking”
I hadn’t realised that was pacing back and forth across the room until he said that.
“Not nervous huh?” He joked. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. “Hey, come here”
I made my way over to him, standing between his legs. His arms gravitated towards my waist as I looped mine around his neck.
“What’s on your mind?” He asked softly. I moved my hands to fiddle with the collar of his shirt before answering.
“I just really don’t want to mess this up.” I whispered,
“Nothing the team can say will change anything-“
“No Derek I mean this, us.” I muttered. He placed his hand under my chin, lifting my eyes to meet his.
“Nothing you can do will change how I feel about you okay? I’m in this for the long haul.” His words made my stomach flutter.
“I love you.” I said before leaning in to kiss him. Even though it wasn’t the first, he took my breath every time. His lips just felt so perfect on mine.
“FINALLY” A shrill voice from behind us made us jump apart from each other. I turned to see the team standing in the doorway, a mixture of emotions on their faces. The voice that had scared us belonged to Garcia as she stood there grinning like the Cheshire cat whilst clapping her hands happily.
“Details now. When? Where? How long? Can I plan the wedding?” She gushed. I could feel my face burning bright red as I stood there unable to talk. Derek stood up, snaking his arm around my wait.
“Relax babygirl. We’ll explain everything” Derek said to her.
“T-that’s not exactly how we planned to tell you” I said, the embarrassment of being caught by our friends beginning to sink in.
“It’s about time” Emily chipped in, nudging me on the arm. “I’ve been waiting.”
Derek shot her a confused look. “What do you mean?”
“Well, I mean considering what happened at yours the other night, I figured it would happen sooner or later” She replied, shrugging her shoulders.
Derek looked at me. “You told her?”
“She literally came over and I was freaking out of course I told her” I replied, laughing.
“What happened at Derek’s?” Garcia called, her eyes darting between the three of us.
“Emily went over to check on them because neither of them were answering their phones..” JJ answered.
I looked at Emily. “So, you told JJ?”
Emily held her hands up defensively. “She’s my girlfriend I had to.” I rolled my eyes.
“And by doing that she interrupted them about to kiss” Spencer piped up. My jaw dropped.
“You told Spencer too?” I looked at Emily accusingly.
“No! I only told JJ” I turned to JJ, raising my eyebrows expectantly
“He’s my best friend.” She replied.
Derek sighed. “Okay so was there anyone who didn’t know?”
“Well technically me and Hotch didn’t know but we had a feeling.” Rossi answered. “Actually, that reminds me, you owe me ten bucks Aaron”
I threw my hands up. “Oh, brilliant so three of you knew and the other two had a bet on us. Good to know” I said sarcastically.
“I’m feeling rather left out. Why am I the last to find out?” Garcia pouted.
“Gotta save the best till last babygirl” Derek replied, throwing his arm around her giving her a squeeze.
“Good point” She said, the smile promptly returning to her face.
“You two are good together. I hope you’ll be happy” Hotch commented with a tight-lipped smile.
“Thanks Aaron.” I said returning the smile.
“Right” Emily clapped her hands together. “Who wants to go get drinks to celebrate the couple of the hour.” Everyone raised their hands and headed out the door.
“Hey” Emily grabbed Derek’s arm pulling him back slightly. “Be good to her.”
Derek patted her hand. “Always. I’ve never felt like this before about anyone. There’s no way I’m losing her.”

Tumblr media
Los Angeles was your newest muse.
You had always been the spontaneous type. It came as no shock to your family and friends when you told them you had purchased a one-way ticket and were moving across the country. Although your parents weren’t too keen on the idea of their daughter moving so far away from them, they helped you withdraw your savings and find a modest apartment in LA before sending you on your way.
Your reason for moving to LA was simple, really. You were a freelance photographer that felt your career was growing rather… stagnant. You had a thick portfolio and were proud of the work you produced, but your clientele wasn’t as impressive as you’d hope it would be after nearly six years of working at it.
And so began your desire to move from New York to Los Angeles— one big city to the next.
People who knew you often described you as ambitious, fiery, and an absolute go-getter. If your big move scared you in any way, no one knew any better. Your confidence never faltered— not even in the slightest.
After nearly three months of being in LA, you developed a routine of sorts. You’d wake up, eat a breakfast that almost always consisted of avocado toast and coffee, and go on a run. After your run, you would come home, shower, and decide how far you wanted to venture to take pictures that day.
Sometimes your roommates, Serena and Iman, would join you to keep you company. Although you’d never met either one of them before answering their ad for a roommate on Craigslist, you had grown extremely close to the girls in the few months that you’d known them. Despite the two girls being friends since their childhood, they never made you feel left out, and you fit in with them effortlessly.
During your short time in the city, there were so many places you had been, but still, even more you had yet to see. Serena and Iman, both native Angelenos, would often suggest spots for you to check out and even offer to drive you around— you were from New York after all, and at twenty-four years old, you were still not the owner of a driver's license.
“You’ve never been to North Hollywood yet, right Aminah?” Iman questioned as you all lounged around, trying to come up with a place you had not yet been.
“No, I haven’t really gone anywhere farther than walking distance,” you reply, looking around the cramped living room for your camera bag. “Or the places you guys have driven me. That was still considered Downtown though, right? Where we went the other day?” You were still getting used to how absolutely massive Los Angeles was.
“We should go to Santa Monica or something— wait, Malibu!” Serena exclaims. “We have to go to Malibu, Mina. It’s so nice there, you could totally get a bunch of good shots.”
“Yeah, we might even see a celebrity!” Iman chimes in, stifling laughter.
It was an on-going joke between the three of you. When you first moved to LA, you told your roommates that you couldn’t wait to make your way around the city because you were hoping to run into a celebrity. It was Los Angeles after all— you figured they were everywhere.
You quickly learned that wasn’t the case. Celebrities here kept a low-profile and even if you did encounter a celebrity, it’s not like you would approach them. “You’re not funny, Iman,” you tell your roommate with a roll of your eyes.
“Yes I am,” Iman quips, wiggling her eyebrows. “If we’re gonna go to Malibu then I gotta change. Can I borrow a cute shirt from anyone?”
A short twenty minutes later, the three of you were piled in Serena’s car on your way to Malibu. You’d heard of the city before and knew it was a wealthy area, but that’s about it. Your roommates promised you that out of all the beaches in LA, Malibu had the nicest ones, and lots of places to take pictures. Since none of you had anything to do, you all decided it was as good a day as any to have a beach day and get some shots of your roommates to add to your portfolio. Since you didn’t know anyone except Serena and Iman, the pictures on your camera from the last few months consisted entirely of nature and inanimate objects. While it was good practice, you really preferred to photograph actual people.
“Traffic is so bad today,” you say from the backseat after traveling approximately two feet in five minutes. Iman snorts from the passenger side.
“When isn’t traffic bad, Mina,” she turns to look at you, an amused look on her face. “Don’t worry about it. It always gets backed up at this fuckin’ exit and then as soon as we get past it there’s like, zero traffic.”
“Right! I always complain about how shitty this exit is. I have no clue who designed it,” Serena adds, skipping through songs on her playlist. “It’s still early in the day, though. I’m just hoping the beach won’t be too crowded by the time we get there.”
“I don’t care how crowded the beach is. I just don’t want it to take us forty minutes to find parking…”
You tune out your roommate's voices, instead choosing to focus on the traffic jam outside the car. To Serena and Iman, people who were born and raised in Los Angeles, the city wasn’t necessarily anything special. Sure, they loved how there was always something to do, but the bad drivers, traffic, and smog got old. The novelty of LA hadn’t yet worn off to you, though. You didn’t know how your roommates were content to sit inside the apartment all day when there were tons of things to do basically right outside your doorstep. You felt like you were the one convincing them to go out with you half of the time, and you didn’t even know where you were going.
After what feels like almost entirely too long but was really only half an hour, Serena pulls into a fairly empty parking lot. “Are we not allowed to be here?”
“Why do you think that?” Iman asks, squinting her eyes to read a sign. “It doesn’t say it’s closed. I mean, there are a few cars–– look.” She points to a few cars scattered around the parking lot.
“I mean, it is nine in the morning on a Wednesday. People are probably at work,” you tell the two girls in the front seat. “Besides, there’s someone in the parking booth. Can you even close a beach?”
Serena drives forward, rolling down her window. “I mean, I guess not. You can close the parking lot, though.” You hum in agreement. She quickly pays for parking and tosses her receipt on the dashboard before driving slowly through the parking lot.
“I love when no one’s at the beach,” Iman sighs, clapping her hands. “No one will get in the way of your picture-taking either, Meens.”
You smile at the nickname. “Yeah, that’s true. We picked a perfect time to come too, guys. The lighting’s great.”
“Really? Is it gonna make my skin pop?” Iman turns around and sticks her arm out, sensually running her fingers along it.
“You always look good no matter what the lighting’s like, Iman,” you reply, refraining from rolling your eyes at her. “You have the glowiest complexion out of all of us.”
“We’re literally all the same skin-tone, Aminah,” she retorts, crossing her arms.
“We have different undertones, though,” you answer. “So not really. Plus, Serena is way lighter than us! What are you talking about?”
“Should I park here?” Serena asks, interrupting your conversation.
“Why here? All these empty spots and you wanna park directly next to this car?”
“This is a good spot, Iman. It’s a parking lot. If they didn’t want anyone to park next to them, they should’ve taken an Uber and got dropped off.” She turns into the spot, quickly putting the car in park and crossing her arms to prove her point.
You unbuckle your seatbelt, smiling at your friends’ bickering. They were so close they were basically sisters. They argued sometimes and were quick to call the other out on their shit, and you loved it.
“I just think you’re weird for parking next to this car. It’s a nice car.”
“Who cares, girl?” Serena groans, exasperated. “We’re gonna be on the beach. They’ll probably be gone before we will.” She pops the trunk before unplugging her phone from the aux cord and stepping outside. Iman mimics her before flinging the door open as well and stepping out of the car.
You make sure your camera bag is closed all the way before situating it over your shoulder and climbing out of the car as well.
“It’s kinda cold,” Iman says, wrapping her arms around her body. “If I knew it would be so overcast I would’ve bought a jacket.” Serena hums in agreement and you look up at the sky, unphased.
“It’s like, seventy degrees?” you look at the weather app on your phone in confirmation.
“We get it, Meens. You’re from New York,” Serena teases, closing her trunk. She hands you a few towels and a blanket to carry while she rolls the cooler and Iman carries the beach chairs and umbrella.
“It’s a cold seventy degrees and you know it,” Iman defends. “Look at my goosebumps. I can’t fake this shit.” You shake your head at your overly dramatic friends and follow them down to the beach. You take off your sandals as soon as you’re off the pavement, wiggling your toes in the cold sand.
“We can set up pretty much wherever we want,” Serena points out, tucking flyaway curls behind her ears. “Where do you think the best place to be is, Mina? Y’know, so you can get good pictures?”
“It doesn’t really matter, to be honest,” you tell them distractedly, too busy looking around the beach in awe. Your friends were right–– out of all the beaches you’d visited in Los Angeles so far, this one was the nicest (and cleanest). “Maybe we can get a little closer to the water?”
The three of you walk for a couple of minutes before Iman abruptly stops, dramatically dropping everything she was carrying. “Let’s just set up here. There’s no one around anyway, it doesn’t matter.”
“There actually is someone around,” you tell them, looking at a stranger who seemed to be fixated on staring at you and your friends. “Don’t look, but a cute guy is staring at us.” Serena and Iman immediately turn around, shading their eyes from the bit of sun that was starting to peek through the clouds. The guy couldn’t have been more than twenty yards away from where you were setting up.
...“Huh,” Serena says, turning back around. “Is it just me, or does that guy look a lot like Harry Styles?” She looks back over her shoulder again, but he’s no longer staring at the three of you, focusing on what appeared to be a book instead.
“Why would Harry Styles be at the beach by himself at nine in the morning?” Iman asks, unfolding a beach chair and flopping down on it.
“Why wouldn’t he? It’s Malibu, dude,” Serena responds. You could tell your friends were about to start bickering again, so you quickly jump in.
“Doesn’t matter. Neither one of you would go up to him even if it was, so what’s the point in arguing about it?” They both raise their eyebrows at you.
“And you would, Mina? Bullshit!” Iman exclaims, laughing. “I dare you to go see if it’s him, and if it is, ask him if he wants to join us.”
“That’s weird! What if it’s not him?”
“Even if it’s not him, we’ll still get to hang out with a cute boy.” Iman points out. Serena nods in agreement and you can’t deny that she makes a convincing argument. “Just ask him if he wants a mimosa or something!”
“No, don’t ask that,” Serena interjects. “Tell him that you’re a photographer and you’re working on building a new portfolio. Ask him if he would be cool with you photographing him.”
You narrow your eyes at her. “Are you sure that’s not weird, Serena?”
“Aminah, trust me. I wouldn’t deliberately let you make yourself look weird.” Your roommate reassures you.
And so you found yourself clearing the short distance to where the handsome stranger was laid, half hoping it was Harry Styles, half hoping it was not. You couldn’t act like you weren’t a fan of him–– you thought he was incredibly attractive and enjoyed his music just like most people. If Harry Styles was the first celebrity you encountered during your short time in Los Angeles, you‘d never stop talking about it. Ever.
When you’re almost to him he looks up, dog-earring the page he’s on. After making eye contact with him, there’s no mistaking that this is Harry Styles. You pinch the back of your hand, urging yourself not to freak out. He has a knowing look on his face and you’re grateful for your darker complexion that hides your blush.
“Hi,” you speak first, stopping a few feet away from him. “Uh, my friends and I are just uh, we’re... you know.” You internally wince at your inability to form a coherent sentence. His gaze never breaks from yours and you look away first, growing shyer by the second. If you thought he was beautiful on Instagram, he was even more gorgeous in person. It was incredible.
“Hi,” he finally says after a brief moment of silence. “‘M sorry if I was starin’ at you ladies a moment ago. I jus’ usually never see anyone else this early out here. Are you a photographer?”
You almost ask him how he knows when you realize your camera is still hanging around your neck. “Oh, yeah. Yeah, I am.” He’s still staring intently at you.
“Would you like to sit?”
You look over your shoulder at Serena and Iman who were pretending to be preoccupied putting on sunscreen, but you know they were waiting for you to come back with the man you now knew to be Harry Styles.
“Oh, my friends are waiting for me,” Harry looks up at you patiently, waiting for you to continue speaking. “I was actually going to photograph them. I’m working on building up my portfolio. I understand if you can’t for… I dunno, legal reasons? Or if you just don’t want to–– and that’s fine if you don’t, but would it be okay if I photographed you as well?”
“That actually sounds like a lot of fun. It’s kinda boring jus’ readin’ out here on my own,” he agrees quickly, surprising you. Harry stands up and stretches a bit before leaning down to gather up his blanket, towel, water bottle, and book. “What’s your name? I’m Harry.”
You know that Harry knows that you know exactly who he is, but the fact that he introduced himself to you makes him even more endearing. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Aminah.”
Harry extends his free hand to you. “It’s very nice to meet you, Aminah.” You love the way your name sounds coming out of his mouth.
As you approach Serena and Iman, their eyes go wide when they realize it really was him. Serena nudges Iman and you know without even having heard it that she’s saying, “I told you so!” Harry stops a bit behind you, smiling at them.
“Hello,” he starts. “S’okay if I join you ladies? Aminah here extended such a nice offer that I jus’ couldn’t pass it up, but wanna check with the two of you first.”
Serena’s mouth is shamelessly hanging open, and you realize that she may have been a bigger fan than she let on. Iman answers for them. “Of course! Mina’s building her portfolio and I bet it would look like, super cool, if you were a part of it!” Harry nods, setting the few things he had with him down.
“I don’t think I would even be the center of attention if ‘m sittin’ beside you beautiful ladies. I’ll jus’ act as a prop or something,” he flashes them a dimpled smile. “If you don’t mind me asking, what are your names? I’m Harry.”
“We know,” Iman answers a little too quickly. “I’m Iman and this is Serena.” Serena gives him a timid wave.
“Well, it’s very nice to meet you all. Are you guys from around here?” He lays his blanket beside all of your stuff and sits down cross-legged, not once breaking eye contact with any of you. You had no idea how he did it.
“We live Downtown. We’re only over here so Mina could get some good pictures, she’s a photographer,” Iman answers proudly. “She’s amazing, but she’ll never admit it.”
“Iman…,” you trail off. “Stop, dude.”
“It’s true,” Serena jumps into the conversation, now seemingly over the initial shock of who was sitting barely two feet away from her. “She’s the best photographer I know.” Harry turns to look at you, an amused look on his face.
“That’s a hefty claim. I can’t wait to see your photography skills, Aminah.”
“They’re just hyping me up,” you reply, making a mental note to yell at your friends for embarrassing you once the three of you were alone again. “I’m not that good.”
“That looks pretty professional to me,” Harry says, gesturing to the camera that has not yet left your neck since arriving at the beach. “I bet you’re just as good as they say you are.” You look away, hiding your face. Iman, being the wing woman she is, can tell you’re growing flustered from all the attention and moves the conversation away from you.
“Do any of y’all want a mimosa?” Before anyone can even answer her, she’s popping open the champagne and handing the orange juice to Serena to open. Harry politely declines, as he drove himself to the beach that morning. You and Iman are ultimately the only ones who indulge in a drink since you were the only ones not driving.
Talking to Harry was like catching up with an old friend. He wanted to know everything about the three of you and whenever he felt the conversation was becoming too much about him, he quickly changed the subject. Harry learned that Iman and Serena have been friends since the second grade when Iman pushed some boy off of the monkey bars for teasing Serena. He learned your favorite take-out spots, your favorite bars, and what freeways Iman and Serena tried to avoid at all cost (it was the 405, which he agreed with). What seemed to intrigue Harry the most, though, was him learning that you just moved from New York and had never even been to Los Angeles before moving.
“Why did you pick somewhere all the way across the country that you’d never even vacationed at before?” He had a look of confusion written across his face. You shrug, not really knowing the answer.
“I mean, I’ve seen it on TV shows and in movies. That doesn’t count?” you joke. Harry still looks utterly bewildered.
“I mean… no?”
Serena laughs. “We were just as confused as you were, Harry. We were scared for a moment when she moved in because we were like, oh shit, what if she’s insane? You know? Like, what sane person would move all the way across the country to live somewhere they’d never even vacationed before?”
You let out an offended, “heyyyy”, lightly smacking Serena’s thigh. “I just needed a change and I’m a drastic person! I either go all-in when I do something, or I just don’t do it at all.” You defend yourself.
“I actually think that’s really fuckin’ cool,” Harry says after a moment. “Sometimes I wish I could just… up an’ go. Y’know?” you all nod, and it falls silent again. “Well, should we take some pictures now?”
Tumblr media
Any intimidation you felt to photograph Harry disappeared as soon as he started posing for you.
Being that he was a major celebrity, he was no stranger to posing for a photoshoot. Harry was ethereal–– you knew the pictures of him would most likely require minimal to no editing. Serena and Iman also looked incredible, and you were thankful to have such gorgeous people as your muses. You were taking pictures of them in various places around the beach, only stopping once it started getting too crowded. There were starting to be too many people in the background of your shots and Harry wanted to get going, not particularly in the mood to be recognized. The three of you decide you should get going too. You had more than enough pictures to go through and besides, you were all starting to grow hungry.
Harry follows the three of you to the parking lot, keeping his head down the entire way. The closer you got to Serena’s car, the sadder you got. You didn’t want to stop talking to Harry and photographing him. However, you knew you were just in the right place at the right time, and it was likely that you’d never cross paths with him any time soon–– if ever again.
“Thank you for letting me photograph you,” you tell him sincerely once you were almost to Serena’s car. “That was really kind of you. I can promise you I won’t post them anywhere without your permission or like, disclose the location or anything like that.”
Harry finally looks up, determining you were far enough away from the crowds and he was no longer at risk of getting recognized. “It was my pleasure, really. Thank you for inviting me to hang out with you and your friends. It was a lot of fun getting to know you all.” You feel your body heat up.
“Where did you park?”
“Right there,” Harry points straight ahead. “You?”
You let out a loud laugh, causing Serena and Iman, who was walking slightly ahead of you and Harry, to turn around and look at the two of you. “We parked right next to you! Iman was getting on Serena for parking next to you because the lot was pretty much empty when we got here this morning.”
Harry lets out a breathy chuckle. “I guess it’s fate that we crossed paths then, yeah?” You let out a quiet hum in agreement, stopping a few feet in front of Serena’s car. You hear her and Iman debating on where you should stop for lunch, but you were waiting to see what Harry would say next.
“Aminah? After you get a chance to look at those pictures, do you think you can send them to my manager? His name’s Jeff. I’d love to see how they come out.”
“Oh yeah, of course! Do you have his business card or something?” You were excited that Harry actually cared to see your work but based on the couple of hours you spent interacting with him, you learned he was just an overall insanely kind person.
“I can jus’ put his contact info in your phone? If you don’t mind,” his gaze falters, a sheepish look on his face.
“Totally! Let me just unlock my phone,” you dig in the pocket of your shorts, pulling your phone out and unlocking it with your face. You hand it over to him and while he’s looking down typing you glance over at your roommates who had shocked looks on their faces. You would explain to them later that he wasn’t giving you his number, just his managers, but for now, you’d let them think he was giving his number to you out of all people–– a total stranger.
Harry hands it back to you a few moments later, running his fingers through his hair. “Thank you again for such a great morning, Aminah. I’ll let you get goin’, don’t wanna hold you ladies up any longer,” he waves at Serena and Iman. “It was really nice to meet all of you. Hope to see you all again soon.” You notice that his gaze lingers on you for a moment when he says that, and you feel your body heat up for what must have been at least the tenth time that day.
The three of you watch as Harry unlocks his car and throws his items haphazardly into the passenger side before climbing in, slamming the door shut. His car starts immediately afterwards and he gives you a quick nod before quickly backing out of the spot, leaving. None of you say anything for a bit, just processing what just happened. Serena is the first one to speak, her hand on the handle of her car door.
“Are you fucking kidding me? Harry fucking Styles?” her voice raises at least two octaves and you know she’s about to have a mini freakout. “Did he ask for your number, Meens?”
“No dude, he just gave me his manager's number. He wants to see how the pictures come out after I edit them,” you tell her, opening the backseat of her car. “It’s not a big deal.”
“Uh, that’s definitely a big deal, Aminah. Stop being so humble,” Iman tells you, exaggerated annoyance lacing her voice. “Did you see how he looked at you? When he said, ‘Hope to see you all again soon’?” She puts on a terrible posh accent.
“You’re so annoying,” you groan, shaking out the blanket and beach towels before throwing them onto the seat. “Where are we gonna eat?”
Iman and Serena pile into the car as well, telling you about the three restaurants they were stuck choosing between. You hum distractedly, typing the name ‘Jeff’ into your contacts to see if Harry left a number and an email, or just an email. Your brows furrowed in confusion when you see the name is nowhere to be found in your contact list. You chalk up the mistake to Harry just forgetting to press ‘save’ after creating the contact and figure you can just find his manager’s contact information on the internet somewhere. As you’re scrolling back up through your contact list, your eye lands on a name that makes your breath hitch in your throat.
Harry Styles.

Ok this is gonna be long. I’ve literally been slowly working on this for… too long. I’m just in a mood to have a long discussion about ships. I’ll be looking at canon and not, so bare with me. I don’t ship all of these personally. I’m mostly just picking the most popular ones. I chose to leave out a few that I just don’t want to talk about. I tried to keep this loosely chronological, but that quickly went to hell. None of this is meant to be hate towards anyone’s ship, just my personal opinions on each of them.
Tumblr media
Canon:
Scott x Allison: True Classic
Scallison is so sweet as it is truly the epitome of young love. Romeo and Juliet, except Romeo is even more of an idiot and Juliet is a badass who dies for a cause. They’re moral and ethical codes are both highly valued by themselves, even if they don’t align with others very often. They loved with everything they had. They were beautiful. We’re they soulmates in the end, or just the first love who will always hold a special place in your heart? Who knows, but I’ll always love these immature kids who thought their love could change everything.
Stiles x Lydia: The Long Awaited
Stydia is as slow burn as you can get. Unfortunately their actual getting together was slightly rushed in my opinion. They didn’t have time to find their own as a couple because Stiles just wasn’t in the show enough at that point. I know the reasons behind it, but it did leave this couple at an awkward stage of official-but-not-shown. The idea that Stiles loved her as a kid, immature and infatuated, and he saw her for who she really was, will always be cute. Then they grew, changed, became friends, and found other people. Them finding each other later on, having real love that’s developed slowly, is a wonderful arc. Though, a part of me will always believe they should have pursued other story lines in the wake of Stiles’ absence from the plot. They’re finally together! …but we don’t get to see it.
Jackson x Lydia: The Image
Oh Jackson and Lydia. Honestly, I love them. Their connection at a time in their lives when they couldn’t open up to anyone else, just hits me right in the feels. I mean, god that HUG. You know the one. Always brings me to tears. I’m so sad their relationship was almost entirely depicted during Jackson’s kanima time when he couldn’t think nor truly act for himself. Those small moments of scared vulnerability when he wanted to protect her from himself… I’ll miss these two. They deserved to find other people and remain life-long friends. I loved their moment in the last episode. I wish they’d gotten to see each other grow. Also they had such bixbi solidarity vibes, and I’ll die on that hill.
Scott x Lydia: Leaders
Ok, I’m gonna be honest here. I ship it. The power couple they would have been?? Also them coming together after they lost Allison would have actually made sense. A part of me kinda wishes the writers had moved on from Stydia as a romantic relationship and leaned into them growing as friends and Stiles moving on from his childhood crush. Scott and Lydia actually would have had good chemistry. They were both very headstrong heroic types, but Lydia would have balanced Scott out well intellectually. They had the history, and I think it could had worked if they wrote it right. Plus, Scott and Lydia would have been a better endgame that Scalia.
Scott x Kira: New Beginnings
These two were adorable. Kira was a badass, don’t get me wrong, but she let herself be soft in a way Allison was always afraid to. This couple was truly Baby. Absolute dorks. I can definitely see the lasting quality between the two of them. They saw things very similarly, and had a ton in common. I do think Kira deserves more characterization outside of their relationship, like more of her friendship with Malia. Overall, her departure from the show will always be sad to me. It was bad writing. Scott was over her far too quickly.
Aiden x Lydia: Pretty People Herd
I honestly didn’t see much between these two other than mutual attraction. The best thing to come out of this relationship was Lydia’s line, “You’re not just a bad boy, Aiden. You’re a bad guy. And I don’t want to be with the bad guys.” Good character development moment.
Ethan x Danny: Step to Redemption
Danny really was the thing that made Ethan look outside of the pack for what he really wanted out of life. They had a few cute scenes. Gotta love Danny’s final remarks, “Dude, it’s Beacon Hills.”
Allison x Isaac: Unexpected Rebound
Ok, I like these two. Isaac could match Allison’s snark in a way Scott couldn’t. They both fought the progression of the relationship slightly. They didn’t expect to fall for each other. They were less willing to let someone in close. I’d love to have seen more… but unfortunately their time was limited. On a side note, sometimes their relationship did feel like ‘we both are in love with the same guy, let’s cope with each other’, but I find that completely valid. I’ll talk about Scallisaac later though.
Stiles x Malia: Anchors
Ok but, them <3 I love what they did for each other. Stiles was able to help Malia connect to her humanity and other people. He never tried to isolate her in their relationship and encouraged her growth. Malia offered Stiles the emotional support he never asked for. She defended him, fought for him, and loved him fiercely. Stiles needed that so much after season 3. I think they were a love that wasn’t meant to last, but the impact of it was forever. I wish we’d gotten to see a real end for them where they agreed that they needed to grow as individuals but would always still care.
Liam x Hayden: Three’s a Pattern
These two’s characterization stopped whenever they had storylines together. Their relationship was built on Scallison references. Hayden’s character could have been interesting, but they never really gave her a moment to shine. Liam has the worst plots when they revolved around her. Cute couple, poor writing.
Derek x Braeden: Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girl Boss
Derek deserves to be happy so much. Kate and Jennifer were just... jeez. Him and Braeden were cute and deserved more screen time. I think her intensity allowed for Derek to let go of control a bit more comfortably. Let Derek Be Soft. Anyway, love them.
Corey x Mason: Gotta Have That Rep TM
These two could have been cute if they were shown for more than two seconds at a time. I highkey forget Corey even existed all the time. Kinda just felt like a relationship to fill TW’s gay quota.
Jackson x Ethan: The Callback
Honestly? Loved them. Loved the chemistry. Loved the dynamic. Best twist. I know it was probably written in like that because Colton came out during his time away from the show, but it absolutely fit his character. Jethan is top tier.
Melissa x Chris: BAMF Parent Duo
Ok, so like, Melissa deserved this plot. She deserved someone to care about her. However... what the hell? Chris? In canon, his wife died like 2-ish years prior? His daughter died 1 year prior?? Is Chris really in a position to pursue a new relationship?? Also, like, Scott and Allison dated and loved each other up to her death. Kinda weird to have their parents hook up. I don’t hate it, but I don’t ship it…?
Scott x Malia: Lead up? What’s lead up?
These two came out of nowhere I stg. Like, 6B really tried to tell us this was something that had been slowly developing in the background? Also, I understand that they are their own people, adults, and completely in charge of their own romantic pursuits: but did Scott seriously never call Stiles? Like, Malia wasn’t just his first girlfriend. She was his first. Like, dude that’s your best friend?? Not even a head’s up? No, ‘hey would this bother you?’ Oof. Plus Malia was way too chaotic for Scott. She existed in gray morality that always prioritized her immediate circle, and Scott was a very black/white type of heroism. I just didn’t feel like they fit.
Non-Canon:
Scott x Stiles: Childhood Best Friends
Ya, sorry, I don’t ship Sciles at all. I get it. Like, I totally understand the ship, and I mean no judgment at all. I just see them as friends. I really value good male friendships in media because I feel like we don’t get enough, and I always liked these two.
Stiles x Derek: Enemies to Lovers. 100k. Angst. Hurt/Comfort.
God these two really are what fanfiction was made for. I could write a much longer discussion about Sterek, and I probably will eventually. I’ll try to keep this brief. These two weren’t always on the same side, but their approach was the same. They were very similar at their core. Plus, wow the chemistry. This should have been canon. Jeff’s a coward.
Allison x Lydia: Powerful.
This ship is so great. They really had a great dynamic, and a romantic plot would have easily fit the established narrative. Lydia’s confidence in herself and Allison’s confidence in her own abilities crossing over to each other because that’s what the other lacked? Iconic.
Danny x Jackson: He Gets Him
Danny really saw Jackson for everything he was and still cared. I wished we’d gotten to see more of them. I  want more background with Jackson’s eventual coming out and his friendship with Danny. Like, they ended up dating the same guy. What did Ethan have to say about that??
Stiles x Jackson: Bastards
Ok these two had a super fun dynamic. The asshole-energy between them was, great. The snark was always so entertaining.
Melissa x Noah: Family
How were these two not endgame? Their sons were practically brothers already. They had amazing chemistry. The flirting? Not to mention, their timeline would have made way more sense. Missed opportunity.
Chris x Peter: The Opposite of Love is Indifference, Not Hate
Ok so like, this was definitely one of those ships that I had absolutely no knowledge of before I was pretty into the fandom. Like, this was not something I would have guessed just after watching the show. That being said; my god the chaos alone…
Scott x Isaac: The Disaster Duo
Okay ya I love these two. Two dumb asses who act like idiot puppies. Such a fun dynamic. Plus?? Chemistry??? Hellooo
Scott x Allison x Isaac: Three Heads Are Better Than One
This ship is definitely one of my personal favorites. I very rarely poly-ship. I just feel like most of them are just love triangles with an ‘easy solution’, when two of them have no real connection. That is so not the case here. I feel like all of them have such great chemistry with each other. They also have a great dynamic as a group. Season 3A was really just Scallisaac rights.
Stiles x Isaac: I Hate You, jk…Not Really
Ok I loved their banter, but I really just don’t see this ship. Idk, I don’t personally ship it. Would have loved to see their friendship develop more tho.
Erica x Allison: Duo that would stab you with a stiletto
I don’t ship it, but I do wish we’d seen them become friends. I feel like they had a very artificial ‘girls fighting over a boy’ dynamic? They could have been such a badass duo.
Stiles x Erica: Batman x Catwoman
Ok I’m not sure exactly how to express my feelings for these two so bare with me. OMG I love their dynamic so much, and they are sooo cute. Their energy? Amazing. Chemistry? Great. History? It’s there and has so much potential. 10/10. Love them. But, no, I don’t ship it lol. Just really love their friendship, but with the underlying history of crushes.
Boyd x Erica: Was This Not Canon?
How can anyone not love Berica? Ugh they are adorable. These two deserved so much better.
Boyd x Cora: Survivors
Honestly I don’t really see it? Like they definitely had a connection, but it never felt romantic. I really feel like they just had to lean on each other and bond to make it through captivity, and it just lasted.
Boyd x Erica x Cora: The Pack
I literally learned this was a ship a couple days ago. Similar feelings towards this as Bora, but with the added hesitancy of we never actually saw Erica and Cora interact.
Cora x Stiles: Slow Build Up
These two were clearing being lined up to be a thing before Cora ended up leaving. I can’t say I’m disappointed they never happened. Kinda felt like they just wanted to straight-code Sterek.
Cora x Lydia: Mean Lesbians
Not much interaction to actually go off of, but yes I 100% support. They have very different approaches to problems, which is fun. Very ‘opposites attract’.
Malia x Kira: “Maybe you could date the coyote?”
Another one of my favorites!! They really complimented each other. Also, how full circle would they have been? They were introduced in back-to-back episodes. Malia stalking her as a coyote? The line from Kira’s dad about dating it? It would have been so funny if that ended up happening.
Malia x Lydia: Beauty and the Beast, but make it wlw
These two were fun. I liked their friendship, but I don’t really ship it. Though, rip Stiles that would have been hilarious.
Parrish x Lydia: The Cop and The Minor
Must I say more? Like, Parrish’s character, so sweet and big rule follower, did not make sense for what went down with Lydia. I love Parrish, but the dynamic just felt off. It didn’t feel consistent with the rest of his characterization.
Parrish x Stiles: The Cop and The Minor, but gay?
Ok, same reasoning as above, but also they had absolutely no connection romantically.
Scott x Theo / Stiles x Theo: Sometimes The Villain is Hot
Ok I’ve put these together because I have the same opinion for both. I don’t ship it. Neither had any rebuilding of trust, and Theo really hurt both of them. I just don’t really think they work.
Mason x Liam: Sciles Puppy Pack Edition
Similar to my feeling about Sciles, I just don’t ship these two. They had a good friendship, from the little we saw of it.
Theo x Liam: Anchors 2: Electric Boogaloo
Another personal favorite! I really don’t even understand why this didn’t go canon?? The elevator scene was just, so intense. They helped each other grow in 6B, and I really loved their dynamic. They should have hooked up.
Honorable Mention?:
Parrish x Laura: What’s canon?
I’ve seen this in fanfic a lot, and I actually really like it lol. I thought I’d add it in here because I do love the creativity of fandoms.

Tumblr media
You open your new group chat first thing in the morning, wanting to check on Soomin and Jimin. Just yesterday, the two had informed you of their concerns separately, both worried over the same thing. Soomin’s mother wanted to hold a small congratulatory celebration for her daughter’s KMLE results, and her subsequent acceptance at Woocheon, so there was going to be a party exclusively for all tenants of the building at the restaurant just next to the cafe.
The two hadn’t worked out their budding acquaintance, as you had practically forced them to greet each other the last time you were at the cafe, so you thought this might be a great way to have them start over their tricky relationship.
As you’ve expected, both of them had even tried to convince you to come, in the hopes that a mutual friend could help diminish the awkward air around them. You’ve declined each of them politely, not wanting to intrude on their little get-together. Besides, (just like you hadn’t forgotten to mention to them), this was the perfect opportunity to get rid of this wall hindering their friendship (to which, both of them had also quite strongly disagreed upon).
A mere three hours after their outpour of sentiments, as you’re rewatching episodes of Dr. Romantic with Chohee, the pair drunkenly call you, requesting a video chat. You’re pretty sure not one of them is aware of what’s happening, especially with Jimin refilling his shot glass every thirty seconds; Soomin speaking gibberish, and Chohee literally teasing them through the screen of your laptop and yet none of them seem to mind a damn thing about it.
So, with hopes that each of them arrived home safely last night, you type in your text message.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
‘What is this place, really?’ you mutter to yourself, slightly regretting your decision to take the subway instead of a cab. You only ride taxis for places you’re not familiar with (such is the case with today) but you didn’t want to spend twice as much solely for transportation so you took the train to the building.
Now you feel lost. You’ve just gone to the main entrance of the building, but there was scaffolding barring the entrance, and now you’re struggling to look for Entrance B with the singular tarpaulin saying “Please use Entrance B” and a faded arrow below pointing to the left. After a grueling ten minutes of asking people for directions and walking all over the place, you finally find Entrance B and hurry on your way inside.
There’s already a small crowd forming where the directions for the processing of your license is posted, and you can’t seemingly read the directions all the way down with people clearly taller than you blocking the way.
“What’s the matter? Can’t see the directions, smally?”
Your instant recognition of his voice makes you hang your head low. You figure there’s no way you can get rid of this guy anytime soon.
“Hello, Jungkook.”
Why is it that he’s always there wherever you are? He couldn’t be stalking me, could he?
Jungkook almost spits his water on the girl in front of him. Oh, so he heard your thoughts then. “Yeah, you wish, woman. I wouldn’t do that even if you had one million strapped to your neck.” You roll your eyes at him.
“Wasn’t asking for any conditions for you to do that, but thanks for letting me know your thoughts.”
“Awh, you mad, babe?” Shaking your head at him, you try to continue peering over everyone’s shoulder to check the post. “If it makes you feel any better, I would for two million though.”
You were just about to retaliate with a smart comment, but you see a girl walking towards Jungkook while twirling her hair with her newly manicured fingers. “Jungkook-oppa, you’re here!” she says, hooking her arm on his elbow.
Ah yes, it’s the same brat that kept defending Jungkook’s ass during the KMLE exam. “Why don’t you come with us? My mom works here,” her voice gets down to a whisper, but loud enough for you to hear. “If you come with us, you wouldn’t have to fall in line, then maybe we could have lunch together.
Jungkook removes her hand from his, “No thank you, I’ll just wait here.”
“With her?”
The audacity of this bitch.
“Yes, with her.” Jungkook says, not skipping a beat. “She’s...better company.” Oof, that’s gotta hurt.
You try not to show much of your currently soaring pride on your face, but you can’t help but clear your throat as a terrible disguise for a snort. The girl becomes silent after that, with most of her friends trying to control their facial expressions after Jungkook’s reply.
“Fine then, your loss,” she says with a flip of her hair, then makes her exit.
You're unsure what to do now as the girl has already left, and you’re also not sure if you’re entirely happy about being left with Jungkook now. “Why didn’t you go with her? Could’ve saved you a lot of time considering the people here.”
Jungkook clenches his jaw, as if in thought. “I don’t like cheating. I believe that there’s a different value in the reward that comes with something you worked hard for.”
You’re surprised. You really hadn’t expected this kind of quote, coming out of Jungkook out of all people, but you find yourself nodding as he speaks, quite impressed that you share the same principles.
As the crowd starts to disperse, you and Jungkook finally get your turns to take a look at the poster. “Is it often?”
“What is?”
You point a thumb backwards towards where the girl had gone to, “Having girls throw themselves at you all the time?”
“Oh that,” Jungkook chuckles, then gives you a lopsided smirk, “Yeah, that. Hadn’t realized being this hot was so tiring.” Squinting your eyes at him, it then again dawns on you that you shouldn’t even have asked him that sort of question at all.
“You know,” he says, nudging your shoulder with his, “I’m quite jealous of you really,” your brows crease together. This can’t be good. “At least you don’t experience all of that, cause you know…” he says, gesticulating his hands over his face.
He did not just insinuate that you were not...attractive at all. Huh. This bastard can wait for his license alone then.
“Goodbye, Jungkook.”
“Hang on! ________, wait! I was just messing with you,” Jungkook laughs, running after you.
Tumblr media
The cashier is already scanning the last items on your grocery list by the time Jimin and Soomin had texted you that they were done with their licenses, and you three had agreed on meeting up by the mall’s concierge. It doesn’t take long before you all decide on having Italian for dinner, after seeing the restaurant nearest to where the concierge was.
“Wait, it took you guys only half an hour?” you exclaim, recalling how you had to endure at least more than an hour with Jungkook as you waited for your licenses to finish. Thankfully though, the latter had other errands to run so you two parted ways as soon as you got your IDs.
Jimin, always the gentleman, offers to get your group the utensils as well as a few condiments and spices you might need with your meals. “Soomin-ssi, do you know anybody else who’s going to Woocheon too?” he says, setting the silverware atop the napkins.
Soomin thanks Jimin for the thoughtful gesture, sending a small smile his way. You squeal inwardly, wanting to know what happened last night for them to interact like this. “Um, also, I’m not so sure about the others who will be attending Woocheon too...I only got a glimpse of the list, sorry.”
“Ah, no worries about that. So, how was the dinner party last night?”
The two glance at each other, seemingly communicating with their eyes. Oookay, what’s going on between these two? What exactly happened last night? If they wanted to be alone, they could’ve just said so…
“It was fun,” Jimin initiates, plastering  what seems to be a painfully wide grin on his face. Soomin nods along with him as she adds more, “Honestly, I don’t remember much about last night, but I do recall Jimin calling me ‘sajangnim’ the whole night. And I told him to not call me that, but Jimin here is a stubborn man.”
“Yeah, you complained about that too last night,” you laugh, cutting your garlic bread into pieces. “Wait, what?” Jimin squints his eyes at you, “Were you there last night? How did you....”
“I’m guessing you both don’t remember calling me last night too, didn’t you?”
“We did?!” they say in unison, making your eyes go wide. “Did I do something stupid?” “Please tell me I didn’t say something I shouldn’t have?”
“Hmm, well, it was quite the conversation last night,” you tease them, wanting to see how far this can go, “plus Chohee was there too so I have another key witness.”
“What?” Jimin squeaks, lips pressing into a thin line, “what’s the key witness for?”
“That, my friend, is up to you to remember and figure out.” You give each of them a wink, before turning your attention back to your pasta.
Tumblr media
Transferring all your groceries to one hand, you fish your keys from your purse, shaking it lightly to hear its jingle as you blindly course your fingers through your bag. As the elevator doors open, you see your neighbor down the end of the hall, trailing after a man.
Ayoung hears the elevator bell ding and turns to your direction. She excitedly points her thumb to her back, mouthing ‘new tenant’ to you. She keys in her code and lets the guy in first. The moment he’s inside, she leans by the doorframe and whispers how hot the guy actually was and how much of a lucky neighbor you were going to be.
You shake your head at her, leaving Ayoung to entertain her guest. Of course, not forgetting to pray that she manages to score you a hot man next door.

Not Prick | Tom Holland
masterlist found here
pairing - Tom x reader word count - 1,877 warnings - language A/N - for the anon who requested x
summary - A fan gets a little aggressive with Tom at the mall, and he takes it out on the wrong person. But he’s a good guy, and when he realizes his mistake, he’s determined to make up for it.
Tumblr media
Tom was having a bad day. There was no rhyme or reason. He was just cranky and tired and wanted to be home. Instead, he was out at the mall with Harrison. Apparently his favorite store was having a sale, and Harrison wanted a new pair of shoes.
“Why don’t you just order them online?” Tom had asked as Harrison all but dragged him out of his apartment.
“I gotta try them on and make sure they look good,” the other argued. Tom rolled his eyes but agreed to go. Now, they were out, and Tom was regretting it.
By the time they got out of the store, they had been spotted by a bunch of fans. And Tom, being the nice guy he was, knew he had to stop and talk to them. He wasn’t going to be the guy who brushes off fans and looks ungrateful. So he painted on his camera-ready smile and chatted with the people in the crowd.
It didn’t take long for Tom to get a pounding headache. There were a lot of factors, he was sure. He was tired, he was cranky, and there were just way too many people around. Tom didn’t usually get anxiety attacks, but when he already wasn’t on his A-game, they kind of snuck up on him. Like now. He looked over at Harrison -who had fans of his own to meet- and locked eyes with him. Harrison could read the stress in his best friend’s eyes and started to try to come up with a way out of the situation.
“Alright, alright,” Harrison said with a light chuckle. “Tom and I have gotta head out. It was so lovely meeting you all.”
A few people whined and tried to protest, but Tom and Harrison just awkwardly laughed it off.
“What a dick,” Tom heard someone say. “We built his career, and he can’t even have the decency to stay for a picture?” She scoffed. “I swear, some celebrities have the biggest fucking egos. Ungrateful prick.”
Tom. Snapped.
He turned around and locked eyes with the girl who had spoken.
Only it wasn’t the girl who had spoken.
Your eyes grew wide when Tom stared at you, anger clear in his brown eyes. “I don’t have any obligation to stand here and talk to you,” he said. “I’m not ungrateful. I’m tired. I’m overwhelmed. I don’t always love leaving my house and getting followed by crowds of people. It’s not normal. I didn’t ask for this. So don’t say shit like I have a big ego when you can’t even begin to imagine what I go through when I step out my front door, alright?”
Tears came to your eyes immediately, and you had no idea what to say. The girl next to you -the one who had actually made the rude comments- was slowly backing away, afraid you would speak up in your defense. Instead, you just opened and closed your mouth a few times, then swallowed thickly. “I’m sorry,” you choked out. Tom just scoffed and rolled his eyes, and you turned and pushed your way past the crowd and to the nearest bathroom.
Your hands were shaking as you found a single-stall bathroom and locked it behind you, sinking to the floor and leaning your back against the door. You didn’t care that you were sitting on the floor of a mall bathroom. If you stood up for too much longer, you were afraid your legs would give out.
Shit, shit, not right now. Not like this. Not here. Not. Here.
You didn’t handle confrontation well. In fact, it was the number one trigger of your panic attacks. The first panic attack you ever remembered having was triggered by two boys from your high school getting in a screaming match in front of you. Their raised voices and angry eyes shook you, and you started crying. On the plus side, your anxiety attack stopped the boys from fighting because everyone was suddenly focusing on getting you to calm down and catch your breath.
So yeah. Confrontation of any kind was not your favorite.
You pulled your knees up to your chest and tried to focus on your breathing, but it was hard. You kept replaying the moment that had just happened in your head. Tom Holland -a legit famous person- just yelled at you in front of a crowd of people for something you didn’t even do. How many people filmed it? Was your favorite celebrity going to remember you as the bitch who called him an ungrateful dick? You weren’t the bitch who called him an ungrateful dick. Why couldn’t you just defend yourself? Why did you have to shut down like that?
Breathe, breathe. Don’t do this. Don’t. Do. This.
Harrison ushered Tom away from the group of fans, noticing his fists clench in anger as he watched the girl run off. “Wait, wait, Tom! Harrison!”
“Oh, for fuck’s sake,” Harrison mumbled. He turned to find a girl jogging after them. “Listen, we really-”
“No, I know, I know,” she said. “I just, that girl you yelled at?” She was looking at Tom. “She wasn’t the one who said that stuff.”
Guilt settled in Tom’s stomach. “What?” he said.
“I saw the girl who actually said that,” she said. “It wasn’t that girl. I don’t know either of them, but I just thought I should let you know. She seemed pretty shaken up, and I just-” She paused. “I’m not trying to make you feel bad or anything. I just didn’t want you thinking the wrong girl was being a bitch. It, it-” She stuttered, feeling foolish suddenly. “This probably doesn’t matter at all, and I should’ve just-”
“Did you see where she went?”
The girl furrowed her eyebrows at Tom’s question. “What?” she asked.
“The girl,” he said. “The one I yelled at? Did you see where she ran off to?”
“Uh, the bathroom I think,” she said. “The single stall down by Topman.”
Without any explanation, Tom jogged off in the direction of the bathroom in question. He heard Harrison calling after him, but he didn’t stop or turn around. When he got to the bathroom, he paused, his fist inches from the door. Was this necessary?
Yes. Mum raised a gentleman. You were a prick, and you need to own up to it.
You sat up a little straighter when there was a knock at the bathroom door. “Just a minute!” you called. You stood up and quickly went to the mirror to clean any mascara that might’ve slid down your cheeks. You flushed the toilet and pretended to wash your hands for good measure, then opened the door.
On the other side was none other than Tom Holland.
You felt a lump grow in your throat again as you hung your head and tried to brush past him. “Sorry,” you mumbled.
“Wait, wait,” he said, reaching out to grab your forearm. You stopped and looked at him. He looked stressed, and his eyes were sad. He looked like a completely different person from the man who yelled at you ten minutes ago. “I’m sorry,” he said, releasing his hold on your arm. “Someone told me you weren’t the one who said those things.” You pressed your lips into a tight line and looked down at your shoes. “Even if you were,” Tom continued, “I shouldn’t have snapped like that. I was out of line. I don’t usually snap like that. I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine,” you said, though your eyes were still trained on the floor.
Clearly, it wasn’t fine. Tom wasn’t dumb. He could see your slightly puffy eyes and the remains of mascara on your cheeks that you hadn’t quite been able to wipe away. He had done that, and that wasn’t okay. What had gotten into him?
“Do you like smoothies?”
This caused you to look up. “What?” you asked, your eyebrows furrowed.
“Do you like smoothies?” he repeated. “Harrison and I were going to grab some on our way home. Let me buy you one.”
“You don’t have to do that,” you said quickly, shaking your head.
“I want to,” he said. “Consider it an extended apology. And maybe proof that I’m not a prick.” A small smile crept up your lips, and the sight made Tom do the same.
“Okay,” you said. “That sounds nice.”
Tom nodded happily, and the two of you walked back over to where Harrison was standing and waiting. “So what’s your name?” Tom asked as the three of you walked to the parking garage.
“(Y/N),” you said.
“Well it’s nice to meet you,” he said.
You smiled. “You too.”
Tom bought you a smoothie and invited you to stay and hang out with him and Harrison. Of course, you obliged. The three of you sat on the patio of the smoothie shop and had your drinks, chatting and laughing like old friends. They were both really easy to talk to, and you were quickly forgetting about the whole ordeal at the mall. Tom clearly felt horribly, and you knew it was all just a misunderstanding. Plus, everyone was allowed to have bad days. Even celebrities. You couldn’t count the number of times you snapped at your friends or family because you were in a bad mood.
When you finished with your drinks, the boys offered to drive you home. You accepted, considering you had taken the bus to the mall. Maybe you were being naive, taking a ride from two boys you didn’t know, but you highly doubted you were going to get kidnapped by Tom Holland and Harrison Osterfield. Again, maybe you were being naive.
But you gave them directions to your apartment, and you arrived unscathed. “Let me walk you to your door,” Tom said.
“Okay,” you said. You smiled at Harrison. “It was nice to meet you.”
“You too,” he said back. Tom walked you to your door with his hands shoved in his pockets.
“So,” he said, “I just want to apologize again for what I said.”
“It’s really not a big deal,” you said. “I understand. You’re allowed the occasional bad day. And to be fair, what that girl said was really rude. I get why you-”
Tom cut you off by placing a sweet kiss to your cheek.
You blushed and put your hand where his lips had been. “What was that for?” you asked with a shy smile. Tom held back a smile of his own and shrugged.
“I just think you’re sweet,” he said. “And I liked spending the afternoon with you.”
You laughed lightly. “I liked spending the afternoon with you, too.”
“Could I get your number maybe?” he asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Yeah,” you said. “That’s okay.”
You switched phones and exchanged numbers. When he handed yours back to you, you laughed at the name he put: Not Prick
“You think you’ll remember that’s me?” he asked as you slid the phone in your pocket.
You nodded. “Impossible for me to forget.”
He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck again. “I’ll text you, then.”
“Okay,” you said. “Thanks again for the smoothie.”
“Of course,” he said. “Maybe next time it’ll be dinner.”

Blow Up My Life
JJ Maybank x kook! reader
Tumblr media
“What are we gonna do now? We have no way to dive without materials,” Pope tells the group.
“Guys we can’t give up now. There’s gotta be a way,” John B sighs.
John B had just been caught by Ward when trying to borrow some scuba gear to explore Scooters boat. They had to find some other way to get resources.
“JJ!” Pope exclaims as if JJ has been the answer that they were looking for all along.
“What’s JJ gonna do? Pick-pocket a touron?” Kie adds.
“Do I look like a kook to you?” JJ said, asking why Pope, the smartest kid he knew, was suggesting him as the answer.
“No, idiot. JJs dad used to work at that boat place right? There’s a kook girl that he always flirts with, she can hook us up!”
JJ rolled his eyes, “You mean Y/n? No way! I’m not asking her for shit,”
“Take one for the team, buddy,” John B pleads, getting excited at the possibility.
“She’s not gonna help,” JJ groaned. Fumbling with some keys on his backpack.
“I’ve seen you guys. You have a thing going,” Pope suggests.
JJ scoffs, “She’s gonna ask why. She won’t let us waste money if she doesn’t know what it’s for. Plus she has work to do,”
“She’s a kook though,” John B adds.
JJ never really pondered the fact that you were a kook, because you weren’t a snotty, annoying, bitch one.
“Barely. She’s like a Kiara-kook,” JJ explained, gesturing to Kie who was braiding her hair.
She stopped to give him a confused look.
“Still got the money though,” John B adds.
“Fine. I’ll ask her. I can’t believe you put me up to this. You all owe me!” JJ muttered as he slammed the door on the way out.
You and JJ had a complicated relationship. You met his dad before you met him. Your father owned the boat place that Mr.Maybank used to have a job at.
This gave you a bad impression of JJ. But you got to know him a little bit. He was sweet to you, but flirted non stop. Sometimes going overboard.
Nonetheless, you denied all his attempts. He never stopped trying, but at this point, that was just who he was. You both had interesting conversations almost always ending with you both roasting eachother.
When JJ got to the place, he knew better then to enter through the garded entrance. His dad was fired, so he wasn’t exactly welcomed in.
But he hopped the fense on the side and started creeping past the boats. Trying to be as descreet as possible.
Finally, he noticed you, bending over, fixing a boat. There was dirt trailing up your arms from the work, and your shorts were riding up your butt just a little.
JJ stiffened, he didn’t want to admit to the fact that he was attracted to a kook. Especially one that would never go for him.
You grabbed a wrench and started using it on the boat. But then, metal made a loud squeaking noise, and you jumped back.
“Shit.” You blurted in a disappointed tone, knowing that you just bursted a pipe and there would be consequences if fire got in the vicinity.
Less than a foot away from you, a broken wire began to spark. Your eyes widened and you instantly stepped back.
“Red 80!!” You shouted. This was in case anyone was near you and needed to take cover. Red was for the fire, and 80 was about the explosion. It was a saying you somewhat invented.
You ran towards the boat JJ was hiding behind and jumped to take cover there.
You turned the corner, and saw him.
“JJ?!” You couldn’t stop running and collided into his chest. “What are you doing here? Did you not hear me? There’s a red 80-“ you stopped when the loud eruption started.
You flinched towards JJ, and instinctively buried your head into his chest and grabbed a fist full of his shirt. His eyebrows were raised as he pulled you in, lifting his arm to shelter you. And placing a hand over your head just in case of debris.
It was a short explosion, and not one causing that much damage. But still, to JJ at least, a mistake worth making fun of.
“Not much of a hugger. But I kinda like that. Like a lot,” JJ said.
You pushed him back, “real nice,” you retaliated.
“No really. The whole damsel in distress thing...” JJ added.
You scoffed, brushing his flirts off, and got up to inspect the damage you had done.
“Feels all...James Bond,” JJ continued, gesturing to the explosion.
“It’s not too bad,” you say, in a tone that tells you you’re lying to yourself.
“Good luck telling your dad that,” JJ chuckles sarcastically.
With your hands on your hips you face him, “I think I’ll just tell him this happened the exact moment Maybank’s kid walked in. How exactly did you get in here again?”
JJ puts his hand on his heart, mocking offended.
Causing you to laugh at his facial expressions. You begin to walk away, when JJ jogs infront of you to stop you.
“Wait seriously?” He asks, slightly worried.
“No, dumbass. I’m no snitch,” you scoffed.
“That makes this next part easy,” JJ mutters, but you hear it.
“Huh?”
JJ scratches the back of his neck, he looks down at you, his eyebrow twitching as he involuntarily scans his eyes down your body.
“Ugh,” you scoffed, annoyed as you stepped past him, shoving his shoulder with yours. But it was more like his bicep.
“No, wait...I wanted to ask to borrow some gear. You know...for fun. Maybe cuz we’re cool, I thought you could hook me up?” JJ offered.
“How many?” You wondered.
“A few,” JJ said bluntly.
“So is this for you? Or the whole Scooby gang?”
JJ chuckled, it was always a joke between you two that him and his friends were the Scooby gang, always causing mischief, and riding around in that colorful van.
“The gang,” JJ stated.
“And they thought sending you was the best bet?” You joked.
“Ha, ha. Now please, I know you got some,” JJ said hopefully.
“Not for you, JJ,” you said and left him standing there while you tended to cleaning up the oil mess.
“If I help you fix this boat...then will you let me borrow some gear?” JJ asks, sitting down on the boat beside you.
“I’m working, JJ,” you brushed him off, hoping to ignore him.
You fumbled with the pipes, when JJ’s hand came into your vision. He was starting to help you, despite your protests.
He reconnects a pipe and twists a new bolt onto the latch. Stopping the oil from oozing out.
It makes a loud squeak, and right before he closes the metal, some fuel sprays in your face.
“Ah! JJ!” You scream as you wipe it off your cheek.
JJ smirks, “Whoops, my bad. I was aiming for your mouth,” JJ admits. And you roll your eyes.
A few seconds later, and after a few more moves. JJ fixes the damage you have done.
“This is huge! JJ thank you,”
“Ha. That’s what she said,” JJ mutters, to which you slap him on the arm.
“So...what do you say about helping me and my friends?” JJ brings up.
“Why do you need it? Going on some secret mission!” You tease, pushing his shoulder a little.
“I knew you wouldn’t help,” JJ mumbled.
“Why don’t you just ask your dad...oh right!” You trail off, trying to insult him back.
You see his demeanor change slightly, his jaw clenches in anger.
You and JJ have fought before, but it was all in good fun. You realized his dad was a sensitive topic.
“Come on,” you said, gesturing for him to follow you as you walked towards the scuba tank storage.
You hand him two tanks, “the rest are empty. So use these wisely,” you inform.
JJ smiles, “thank you,”
“Have fun with these,” you sigh, accidentally letting some longing push through in your voice.
“We will,” JJ says, throwing the tanks over his shoulder.
You smile softly, it was a fake smile that faded quickly.
So JJ noticed, his eyebrows furrowing. As a way of thanking you, he put aside his usual method of ignoring problems when he sees them.
“Are you okay?” JJ asked.
You looked at the ground, “yeah I’m cool,” you shrugged.
“You’re not mad about letting me borrow this stuff are you? I promise I’ll bring it back,” JJ tried to cheer you up, by holding out his pinkie finger.
“No. It’s not that. I just...I guess you and you’re friends are so close, and you always have so much fun together...sometimes I just wanna get in on that. You know?” You explained.
“But you’re a kook?” JJ said in shock, he never thought a kook would wish to trade their life for his.
“Yeah,” you said disappointedly, “it gets boring after a while,” you admitted.
“You have a pool in your backyard?” JJ defended, trying to mention reasons why your life shouldn’t be boring.
“Without friends to share it with...friends that know you...I don’t know. It’s okay. I’ll figure it out. You should get outta here. Before my dad finds you,” you suggest.
JJ struggles for words. He knew his friends would tease him if he did what he was thinking, but he didn’t care, “come with us,”
You gave him a surprised look at the offer, “really?”
“Totally. As long as you don’t embarrass me with all your kooky ways,” JJ joked.
“I think I will. All I have here is the same old, same-“
“HEY!” a male voice shouted suddenly. You jumped and turned to face the voice. But JJ had already started running towards the exit.
“JJ! You bastard,” you scolded.
“Oh right,” JJ blurted, he ran back to you, grabbed your arm, and started dragging you with him.
“What are you doing?!” You exclaimed, pushing him off.
“Your coming with me right?”
“Yeah. But I can walk myself,” you retort.
JJ explains, “We can’t walk, we have to run-“
“Is that Maybank?! I told you to never come back here, boy!” The male security man shouts.
You laugh and start running farther with JJ.
He hops a fence, the man still gaining on the both of you.
You’ve never hopped a fence before, but in the heat of the moment, and JJ’s motivation, you swung your feet over with ease and continued to run with JJ.
JJ was a little faster than you, so to catch up with him, you reached out and held his hand.
He was surprised, you could read it on his face, it wasn’t necessarily a bad-surprise, but he felt affection, in your touch.
He thought it was just adrenaline.
After what felt like a mile, JJ finally stopped running.
When you stopped, JJ carefully let go of your hand to run a hand through his hair.
You breathed heavily, “that was-“
“Fun right?” JJ smiled.
You laughed and felt a sudden nerve in your stomach. Almost like anxiety.
“You ready to meet my friends?”
That was it, your face flushed with nerves, “Wait, uh...are you sure they’ll want to. I mean...aren’t your friends very...anti-kook?” you wondered.
JJ scratches the back of his neck, “don’t worry. They’ll love you. And besides, I’m the most anti-kook and you can deal with me,”
You smiled at him, “true,”
You and JJ walked a little further and arrived at a house near the water.
“This is John B’s place. You can find me here a lot,” JJ said.
You already knew why JJ wouldn’t want to be home a lot. So you just nodded.
(Disclaimer: They we’re running with the scuba gear on their backs)
The Pogues ran out of the house to meet the both of you. Smiling when they saw the gear.
You didn’t feel used because you were there too.
The pogues didn’t expect to see you, and not to judge a book by its cover, but you didn’t look like a full kook.
Kiara approached JJ, “what’s she doing here?” She whispered.
John B smiled and held out a hand for you to shake, “hey, I’m John B,”
You greeted him back warmly, trying to hide the nerves.
“Hey, I’m Pope,” someone said from behind John B, “you’re Y/n right? We’ve heard a lot about you,”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, my boy JJ-“ Pope tries, but JJ steps in and elbows him in the gut.
“Welcome to the Cut,” John B says.
“She’s been to the Cut, genius,” Pope says, still recovering from the playful blow he took from JJ.
“Fine. Welcome to the Chateau.” He paused, “That better?”

AU where Quirin takes and raises Eugene after the DK falls
•| Send me a potential AU and I’ll tell you five fun facts |•
Oh you have no idea how much this enables me - I stand by Quirin raising Eugene until the end of time bc it’s what they BOTH deserve
1) Oki so, here we see Eugene taken away as a baby without disclosing an EXACT location — that will not stop Quirin though, who had a stance against cutting him off completely despite it being Edmunds orders [It made sense to send the boy away but to send him to an ORPHANAGE was another story] Quirin finds Eugene a month or so after they get separated, during that time he found a house and a stable farm to raise a kid on [Gotta have an income] and then promptly goes to the orphanage and adopts Eugene.
By then, Eugene’s name has already been changed and frankly... Quirin thinks it suits him, though he occasionally slips up and calls him Horace. He feels a duty to raise the Prince but also kinda has a “My son now” mentality! Disagrees with Edmunds choices + decides... His kingdom is doomed, so he’s gonna ensure Eugene gets a stable upbringing with KNOWLEDGE of the Dark Kingdom without necessarily telling him “Oh BTW you’re the prince”. Being a father is hard and he struggles a lot, esp in early days, it’s a whole new challenge from being a knight but... Not one he really regrets?
Cue some fluff! Knight-dad trying to raise a baby and establish a life in a new country — Over time he grows and becomes Village Leader + Develops a bond with the monarchs based on his knowledge and previous high-rank in society from being a knight! Gets offered a guard position but turns it down in favour of spending time with his toddler son. Eugenes first word is Dada and Quirins never felt so content. Baby fluff of Eugenes milestones — Quirin has Eugene helping on the fields as soon as he can toddle without tripping (tho it’s mostly Eugene playing and running around while Quirin works) Toddler Eugene is a little darling and knows exactly how to use his cuteness to get praise and sweets
2) Eugene starts thievery / acting out soon after Quirin dates and marries Ulla, though it soon become a hobby he usually indulges in with his friend Arnie [though they take on the names of the coolest book characters Flynn Rider and Lance Strongbow!] Quirin thinks it’s just a phase and leans into the whole calling Eugene ‘Flynn’ because... He really loves the books, that’s not too odd? Though he doesn’t know of crimes + just thinks they go out to play a lot. Eugene ignored Ulla for the first few weeks because he doesn’t like the idea of someone new staying around — He doesn’t hate her, it just raises a lot of questions about his mum that Quirin doesn’t know how to answer... He resolved on the explaination that she was very sick and couldn’t take care of him anymore, though loved him dearly — it’s enough to placate him.
Eugene doubles down on stealing when he’s 10 and suddenly there’s gonna be a new baby in the house. [He doesn’t WANT a sibling + worries Quirin will love the baby more than him since he knows he’s adopted & all that though is too scared to ask] Eugene grows an attitude and Quirin finds himself exhausted and constantly caught in petty bickers as Eugene keeps running away + acting up, especially to his wife (Who loves Eugene very much, of course) ‘Flynn’ declares he wants to travel the world and be far away from step-mums and nasty babies, uhhh Domestic fall out stuff?
Things change when baby gets here and suddenly Eugene is a big brother and Quirin is MORE distracted, sometimes they forget to even read him a story and he can’t stand the squirmy little creature... All it does is cry and take what little attention his misbehaviour had earned him... So naturally, petty crime continues + Eugene starts caring less about getting caught, so it becomes more risky. He and Lance befriend some bad influences and start taking Big Kid Crime. It’s fun! Until Eugene is brought home by a guard and Quirin gives him the silent treatment for the next week. Quirin... He loves his sons, both of them, but he just isn’t sure how to handle a distressed 11 year old and a baby, it feels like there’s not enough hours in the day and Eugene is SET on making life harder for everyone.
Eugene stays against ‘Varian’, frequently makes the baby the villain in his games and makes him cry on several occasions. It gets even worse when he starts crawling bc now he can’t get anytime alone, it’s just frustrating! The solution probably comes when Varians starting to talk and he says ‘Oo-gee’ as one of his first words — ‘Lisa’s first word’ style — and Quirin and Ulla admit that Varian is obsessed with Eugene. It’s sorta a wake up call for Eugene to start trying to get along with the kid, and it works! He finds it fun to teach him things & have someone to talk to (even if he just babbles back) By the time Eugene is 12 he’s calling Ulla mum and love spending time with his little brother
3) Right! When Eugene is about 18 he picks up theiving again, mostly because he isn’t suited to the farm life and it’s easy money (Plus how else is he gonna achieve his dream of financial independence?) He moves out the farm under the guise of finding a new life with his best friend, though they quickly realise it’s not amazing when they get tangled up with the Baron + his antics. Eugene visits home every so often and claims everything is fine, it’s going great, he doesn’t need any extra help + his life is just dandy. His dishonesty mostly bc he doesn’t wanna worry Quirin and there’s been a bit of a strain since Ulla passed away.
Life keeps on like this. Eugene ages, steals alchemy supplies for Varian and hides his true income source because he wants to make Quirin and Varian proud! Varian grows up to be more headstrong in what he wants because he has someone standing up for him and telling him he’s proud, though the longer Eugene spends away the harder it gets? He loves it when Eugenes here! But the house feels empty without him, and Quirin is so busy + stressed from Varians experiments that there’s still that desire to do more, prove himself.
4) Movie diverts a bit! Eugene finds out about the hair glow and thinks... If one person knows about this then it’s him, and takes Rapunzel to Old Corona over night rather than a campfire. Varian is ecstatic to see him though gets confused by a random girl Eugene claims to have just found — He’s about to ask questions when Eugene asks if Varian could do his magic thing to find out about her hair. Varian insists it’s alchemy and agrees, dragging Raps down into the lab! Boop gothel talks to her when Varians gathering all the equipment and talks her ear off about how cool Eugene is and asks how they found each other since the story is weird... Experiements start!
Meanwhile Eugene is talking to Quirin, when Quirin pulls out a wanted poster and puts it on the table. He finally found out about how bad Eugenes crimes are and wants answers. Now. Eugene sits and tries to explain its not what it looks like, but Quirin doesn’t wanna hear it. The disappointment is evident and Quirin criticises “I thought you grew out of this, what role model is this for Varian?” Eugene doesn’t have an answer but argues his case that it was to be reliant — and he doesn’t wanna do it anymore anyway! Quirin accuses him of using the girl, while Eugene insists her name is Rapunzel and he’s just helping her, get the crown, be set for life and never have to bother him again.
Their argument is cut short by a Varian coming back upstairs looking frazzled, says there’s something about the magic that’s familiar but he can’t place it — sure is strong tho, and continues gushing and asking Eugene for all the details of what he’s been up to. Eugene... Explains, his usual light-hearted rendition of a great quest, while Quirin leaves and stays upstairs the rest of the night.
Varian sees them off in the morning! Hours after they’re gone Vari is still looking into the magic thing — that’s when he remembers the old legend about a sundrop... about how it saved the Queen... About the Princess. Varian sneaks out the house and heads up to the lantern festival to tell Eugene and Rapunzel his revelation, but he gets there just as Eugene is being lead away by guards. Varian finds Max and tells him how they need to free Eugene + basically... Helps him escape with fewer pub thugs and more alchemy. When they get to the tower Eugene tells Varian to stay on the floor and climbs up to help Raps - Varian stays at the bottom of the tower for approx 10 minutes before finding the back entrance and climbing up. Figure he gets there just as Gothel deages, it’s suddenly and before anyone knows it Varian is the one pushing her out the window bc he saw a stabbed Eugene and put two and two together. Then! Cue New Dream scene, except Varian is sitting on the floor in shock a distance away... After New Dream hug Eugene looks at him and Varian admits that “Ok, magic isn’t that bad”
5) Oh god the series! First off — Raps is closer with Varian in this (that’s becoming a theme...) so doesn’t just throw him out into the blizzard when he comes asking for help. Instead he and Eugene go back to Old Corona together after the storm, Varian isolates himself from guilt + has a tough time dealing with what happened, but he lives in the castle as Eugene starts getting angrier with the king and wants answers for what happened. He’s the one that finds Dark Kingdom stuff and he and Varian work on it together... Eugene has a suspicion he came from the Dark Kingdom so when the rocks start pointing there he’s like dope!
No villain Varian joins them on the trek to the Dark Kingdom + it’s all fun and games, Eugene tries to get more answers from Adira as they travel but she says it’s not her place to say... All he needs to know is the kingdom fell, and everyone was evacuated... She’s almost annoyed as she explains it, then Hector is treble annoyed when he finds out Eugene was raised by QUIRIN since that went against the direct orders... Though Adira defends it and says he was doing his duty of keeping Eugene safe, it’s basically a rift between them that’s confusing until they get to the DK and the revelation happens.
I feel... Moongene could be a thing in this AU? but since I’m running out of points I’ll leave it with Cass taking her canon role! I will point out! when Quirin is freed initially only Varian runs into his arms... Eugene hadn’t really spoken to Quirin properly since their movie fallout & he’s not sure he belongs... Until Quirin holds and arm out to him and pulls him into the hug too (PARALLLELS) and we get a happy reunited family (tho with some issues to work out regarding somethings... they need to rebuild trust, but work on it slowly. Edmund stays ‘Edmund’ to Eugene. He sees Quirin as his father & doesn’t push as much to reconnect with Edmund... Though that makes it easier in a way. There’s less pressure once Edmund understands and they form a friendship, but Quirin is Dad 100% (Sometimes Edmund gets called Dad 2))
