hi kyle! are the netherlands nice in august? it's not tooo hot right? and what are your favourite cities there? and what about belgium? i'm thinking about where to go on holidays in august and i don't really want to go to southern europe because i think i'll die of heat. but i found pretty cheap buses to for example amsterdam so. might be an option! very interested to hear any insights you might have for me! 🫶

wheeze this is a very sweet question.

the Netherlands is always wet and cold bur in August it tends to be the hottest, all the homes are build to keep heat in so it tends to be really bad unless you stay somewhere that theres aircon which is like hotels and maybe restaurants.

outside of that it is the funnest time to be outside here, we aren't used to the sun and heat so everyone will be outside and will be drinking beer on terras's until 12 and our in parks doing bbqs. its culturally deff a fun time to see us in our happiest time.

for cities, I dont in any way ever (outside of museums and cultural intuitions recommend going to Amsterdam) places like Haarlem, Utrecht oe s'hertogenbosch (den bosch) are much more inteesting cities bc its not as infested with tourists.

I also just recommended visiting as many cities as you can, our infrastructure and public transport is really easy (not to affordable tho sorry :/) to navigate and you're from one side of the country to the other in like 3 hours so please do travel around and see different cities Amsterdam is the farthest from how dutch people actually live as you can imagine!

i do recommend going. pls do read into social and especially restaurant customs because we will b a dick to you if you dont follow them because we are very blunt people but if you even try to follow them well be extremely helpful and kind!!!

anyway, conclusion, don't do to Amsterdam, travel around, chat to people and have fun!!! its a really fun country w a lot of culture and amazing museums that are doing some really interesting stuff rn.

so cassidy's favorite animal of all time is. bunny. 1000%. at this point he would not even admit that under torture but if we skip ahead a couple of years he ends up with two little rabbits called mochi and powder :) mochi is white and beige and light brown in color and she loves to sleep on people and powder is white in color and loves to choose violence. she keeps biting people's cybernetic hands

can't pick a least favorite animal for him BUT i do want to mention that for the longest time he's scared of cats and dogs. which are both present in my night city because i love animals sorry. cats because they just seem scary to him and dogs because reid ended up being attacked by a dog once at maxtac and that scared cassidy a LOT. nowadays he still gets nervous around dogs but cats are fine he's learned to appreciate them :) seb's cat (mr stromboli) gets carried around like a baby by cassidy a lot

cassidy's favorite color is blue!! blue like the sky on a sunny day. or like the ocean. or like seb's eyes. kinda gay. he likes ending his messages with a blue heart <3 he doesn't really have a least favorite color either tbh he likes to put in effort to make things work so he could find something to like about all colors :)

as for movies, he LOVES to watch horror movies. he's not someone to just sit down and watch a movie normally unfortunately he loves to pick the whole thing apart while watching and then some. horror movies occasionally get him to shut up and sit in anticipation and then he gets startled by a jumpscare

cassidy's favorite food is pancakes!! LOVES to eat them with whipped cream and berries. strawberries... but also blueberries or raspberries. sometimes with just some syrup. sometimes with chocolate spread and vanilla ice cream. he likes sweet food a lot :)

his favorite weather is secretly just overcast weather or when it's raining and thundering, but he likes to be inside for that. he also loves it when it's warm and sunny but there's something very comforting to him about a regular, overcast day or a thunderstorm in like mid-august

as for music,,, that's again one that's just. whatever honestly. he can appreciate anything as long as the noises in the songs aren't annoying him :)

OUGHHH THANK U i love my boy august so so much AUAUGH he's my dnd character in a homebrew campaign with some friends!! the context for this is that he and his friend brennan are travelling and looking for a cure for,,,, something that i shan't say yet,,,, and they meet a fortune-teller and she and august talk :3

“Please be careful.” Another smile graced August’s face—it pulled on his cleft lip in a way that showed off a sharp canine in a way that would have been menacing if not for the gentleness of his gaze as he nodded back at his only friend. “Of course. You have taught me as much already.” And with one last glance, Brennan disappeared into the crowd, leaving August to his own device.  During the minutes that followed, he wandered the city’s paved streets. He walked by kiosks that seemed to sell everything and nothing at once, trinkets that could only serve few people, clothing that was too colourful to be safely worn in the wilds, jewellery that shone brighter than the few gold coins in August’s purse. He paid a few coppers for a pastry that was both sweet and savoury, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside—a pastry that he had to run to an empty alley to vomit only a few moments later, stomach churning and body burning as his magic pulsed painfully below the surface of his skin. The alley was darker than markets, the buildings surrounding it casting large shadows that almost convinced August he’d somehow lost the notion of time and had been wandering until nightfall. The sounds of the city were muffled here, and he leaned against a wall to give his senses the calm they needed. He’d been more overwhelmed than he’d thought, distracted by the many wonders of Lorbach and its people.  Through the thin layer of his eyelids, he still perceived when a light illuminated the alley. He opened his eyes, immediately on guard, only to tilt his head to the side at a sight he’d apparently missed in his hurry to empty his stomach: a section of the wall was hollow, leaving just enough room for what seemed to be an incredibly narrow shop. Light shone through the minuscule lattice of the door. Cautiously, remembering Brennan’s demand that he be careful, August approached the door and, with one hand on the dagger at his side, pushed it open. The interior of the shop was, as expected, narrow. Its walls were lined with crystals, bones and vegetation he’d never seen before, flames dancing just an inch above candles that smelled like feelings August had never experienced himself. A few feet before him, at the end of the hallway created by the walls, sat a horned elderly woman, her red skin wrinkled and glowing gently, enticingly. Her hands were folded over the small table she sat at, nails resembling claws, but August was not afraid. Perhaps it was the candles’ scent or simply the woman’s aura, but he felt… calm.  “Come, dear. Make yourself comfortable.” Prompted by the woman’s pleasant tone—the kind he’d heard in his past life, when he’d done something right in class, when the instructor looked down on him with pride—, he stalked closer and sat on the cushioned stool facing the table. He knew he should be more cautious, that he had no reason to trust this stranger, and yet– he couldn’t help but feel drawn to her, to this knowing look on her face, to the gentleness of her eyes. August had never had a mother, but he knew that this here was what the word “motherly” would define.

you all remember the text post i wrote about how overreading is a sign i am not coping well with something and actually procrastinating life. and how an anon in my inbox said “i tell my sister's boyfriend the number of books i read this month and he thinks he should congratulate me, but it's literally a shameful catholic confession that i should atone for with penance.”? this post is my shameful catholic confession. nothing more to add. if things keep going like this september might look similar.... someone pls send help. (don’t worry, i am doing fine, i’m just being dramatic.)

highlights of my months were all the new favourites, my reread/kind-of-buddy-read of loveless (shout out to jo for putting up with me) AND my reread of the hunger games and catching fire. these books still slap so hard. can’t wait to start mockingjay once i am done with my library books.

oh liv you do not understand the feralness this unlocked in me. twin dad bob lives in my brain rent free. @callsignbob

Bob could count on one hand the number of days he considered to be the best of his life. The day he graduated from the Naval Academy, the day he met (Y/N), their wedding day, and the day the twins were born.

Maisy Jane and Franklin Max were born about 2 weeks ago, after a long and stressful labor for both parents.

Since the twins had been earthside, Bob doesn’t think he’s had a dry eye for more than an hour or he was asleep. It had been a whirlwind of emotions, from the terrifying moment (Y/N)’s water broke a few weeks early, to being at the hospital, and each anticipating moment until they could hold their babies for the first time. They had decided to wait on finding out the genders of the twins, deciding on picking out a variety of names to choose from. The Dagger Squad had even come to the Floyd residence to help put together the nursery, where Bob stood right now.

He often found himself standing above the crib, just watching the babies in awe, and wondering how he got so lucky.

“Hi, sweet girl.” He said, reaching down and stroking Maisy’s cheek with his pointer finger, gently as if she was made of glass. She rustled slightly in her sleep, a soft groan sounding from her tiny body. Bob let out a soft chuckle before turning to his son, who laid on the other side of the divider in the crib. Franklin was laid in a similar position to his sister, and seemed to let out a groan in response to hers. Smiling to himself, Bob knew he’d have his hands full with these two.

But he wouldn’t want it any other way. He felt a pair of hands slide around his waist and a pair of lips on his neck, the sweet giggle of his wife like music to his ears.

“I could watch them sleep all day. They’re so tiny, Bobby.” she whispered.

“I know, mama. Only going to get bigger from here, though.” He replied, which earned him a small smack to the stomach.

“Let me enjoy them while they’re this little, Robert.” (Y/N) scolded jokingly. “Can you believe we made them? Like, they’re two living breathing humans that I carried inside me for 8 months.”

“It’s wild to think, darlin. I’ve waited for them since the moment you told me we were having ‘em. Two little products of our love. Can’t get better than that, huh?” Bob spoke sweetly, turning his head to meet his wife’s eyes.

(Y/N) responded by tilting her head upwards to kiss her husband, uttering a soft I love you, before they were broken apart by the waking babies.

As he scooped his bleary eyed daughter into his arms, ready to start the day, Bob was grateful for whatever he did in a past life to earn the one he had right now.

He used to always think (Y/N) would be the only love of his life. But that all changed the second Maisy and Franklin came into the picture. Bob always dreamed of starting his own version of a Floyd family growing up, and to have that be true in this moment with those 3? He was the luckiest man in the world.

a/n: im not sorry for this. these came straight from the gc with @lt-natrace and @rhettabbotts and bc im too lazy to write a fic, here's some headcanons we came up with during this mornings brain rot <3 also reader's callsign is yankee bc im self projecting and from ny. i also got really carried away and this is so long i’m sorry. thank u to @mayhem24-7forever and @topguncortez for beta-ing this too!

~ no one understands how you could possibly hate bob. its bob. he's a total sweetheart, the quiet one. but not to you.

~ to you, he's snarky, and there's just something about him that gets under your skin.

~ you're no picnic to him either. he tried to befriend you, a fellow WSO, from the start. but he was met with a blank stare and a scowl. two can play at this game, he thought.

~ it all started one of the very first nights at The Hard Deck. already unamused with the pissing contest between hangman and rooster, you've stuck to phoenix's side as you've flown with her before but aren't paired together for this mission

~ you've heard of her backseater's reputation, and were eager to meet him. someone at your level, who understands the role and loves it just as much as you do. and by the looks of it, he looked like he might be different from the male pilots you've worked with in the past

~ and not to mention he's really fucking hot.

~ but as soon as he cracks a distasteful joke, one that rubs you the wrong way and somehow takes a jab at your ability to fly like him, you're done. so you give him the cold shoulder and think to yourself, he's just like the rest.

~ but that doesn't stop you from trying to impress him, because for some reason you may have developed a crush on him. but after a while, that crush turned to nothing but pure hatred.

~ bob makes your life a living hell. he makes it a point to criticize every little thing you do, and soon enough it became a battle to see who the better wizzo would be.

~ "god, you're fucking insufferable. you really can't keep your mouth shut, can you? you're clogging the damn radio Yankee." he spat. "Bob." Phoenix piped in, but was ignored as you responded. "I've got to get Coyote's attention somehow, asshole. back off."

~ the rest of the squad is used to your bantering, but it never went passed jabs at each others abilities, or other meaningless characteristics.

~ none of it went unnoticed by phoenix, though. she could see right through the snide remarks and icy glares. she knows you. she remembers the blush that crossed your face the first time you laid eyes on bob, and she remembers the way your face fell after his joke went over your head.

~ she knows bob. she knows that he thinks highly of you and is impressed with your work. and that he has the dryest sense of humor known to man, and that he thought you were stuck up after you didn't laugh at his joke.

~ she sees the longing glances bob gives you when you aren't looking. the ones where he stares at you, laughing with fanboy, in that beautiful sundress that flows so perfectly around your curves. and he's angry with how beautiful you look, and how happy you are in that moment, and he's angry because he wonders why can't i be like that with her

~ he wasn't good with feelings. and you were mean to him, so he was mean back. but maybe one night he takes it too far.

~ you've mentioned in passing and in group that your parents struggle with your line of work, and it's taken a toll on your relationship with them. so after a long day of flying and picking fights with each other, you're both exhausted. and of course that tiredness turns to anger, and anger is an emotion you and bob know best with each other.

~ bob's fed up. fed up with himself, and flying, and mav's drills, and you. it's always you.

~ "god after missing that target, it’s no wonder your parents aren’t proud of you” he regrets it as soon as he says it. a surprised "woah" is elicited by rooster, as you stop in your tracks. “you’re a real asshole, floyd” you say, voice shaky, before you turn on your heel and dart away.

~ phoenix grabs bob's arm, pulling him back as the rest of the pilots move along. "what the fuck was that, bob? you know, this little rivaly you and yankee had was cute at first, but it's gotten out of hand lately. coming for her like that? brining her parents into it when you know what their relationship is like? that's a low blow. especially coming from you. you need to take some time and think about whatever this little thing means, because its obvious you've got something else going on." she says, leaving him standing on the tarmac. he waits there for a minute, ashamed. bob feels his jaw twitch before he heads back inside

~ he knows he has to man up and apologize. he didn't mean it, he was frustrated. frustrated with his feelings, and the mission. but his words shoot to kill when he's mad. he has a lot of regrets about that. (thank u to jay for killing me with that)

~ the next day, as he plans to apologize to you, he approaches with caution. he waits for you to say something, anything, but the moment never comes. you don't say a word to him, just leave him with a second long look, full of pain and something else he can't place.

~ it goes on like this for the next few days. no more snide remarks, scowls, or fighting. just stolen glances that don’t go unnoticed by your teammates.

~ in between drills, bob walked past an empty classroom put paused when he heard your voice.

~ “i thought he was different, javy. i don’t know. i’ll get over it.”

~ bob couldn’t help but feel yet another pant of jealousy. he knew you were talking about him. and to confide that in coyote? you were a lot closer than he thought, and he felt stupid for how much he hated that.

~ he decided to stay on base a little later than usual that night, catching up on some reading and drill planning. as he was packing up his bag, he heard some yelling, a loud clatter, and a scream that sounded all too familiar. running into the hallway, he bounced his head around until he found the site of the incident. his heart dropped to his stomach as he spotted you, crouched against the wall, shaking, blood dripping down your face mixing with the tears that were also falling. there was broken glass next to you, a shattered frame. he ran faster than his feet could take him, stumbling before he landed on the ground next to you.

~ startled, you look up through teary eyes to see the last person you’d expect to come to your rescue. bob looks at you with an expression you can’t decipher, one of concern mixed with rage. he reached gently to wipe your tears, uttering a soft, “who did this to you?”

~ "no one, just some new recruits ran by and knocked me into the wall, the picture fell down and hit me on the way. i'm fine." you said, breathily. "no, you're not or you wouldn't be crying and bleeding. let me help you." bob said, standing up and reaching his hand down to help you up. rolling your eyes, you took his hand to stand up, ignoring the fluttering in your tummy as your hand clasped his.

There were 3 things that (Y/N) loved more than anything. Her cat, her fiance Bob, and sleep. She loved sleep. And those close to her knew not to mess with her when she was tired, or about to go to sleep.

So when she awoke at 2 am to the sound of her phone ringing, she was not happy. reaching out from under the blanket, she grabbed her phone to see who dared try to reach her at an ungodly hour. Upon seeing the caller ID, she came to remember.

Oh fuck.

If Rooster was calling her at this hour tonight, something must've happened.

"Hello? 'S the matter Rooster?" She mumbled, voice full of sleep and concern.

"Hey, (Y/N)? Look, I know how much you hate being bothered during the night, and I'm really sorry, but none of us can get him to move." Bradley said with a sigh.

"The fuck are you talking about? What do you mean you can't get him to move?" (Y/N) questioned.

"Well, we're trying to call the uber to take us home, and uh, we might have let Bob drink too much. He's refusing to get off the curb unless you come get him. He punched Hangman in the balls and said he's not getting into a lady's car unless it's yours."

Bradley could hear (Y/N) groan and mumble something under her breath. Then he heard a little bit of rustling before she spoke. "He's lucky I love him. I'll see you soon, can you airdrop me your location?"

Rooster chuckled, "Copy that, Missus. Sorry again."

"Don't apologize for my fiance's drunk simping, Roo."

About 15 minutes later, a bleary eyed Bob was having a heated argument with what he thought was Hangman, who had since been picked up, before he was torn from the conversation by a yawning Rooster.

"Hey, Bobby boy. Ride's here." Bradley told him with a light forehead slap.

"Wha?" Bob replied, before coming face to face with his fiancee.

"Jesus, Bobby. How many drinks have you had?" (Y/N) giggled, trying to hold up Bob as he stumbled into her arms.

"I don't know baby, but boy, I had such a great night. I know it was a bachelor party but I wish you were here, honey, and they tried to get me to go in some lady's car and I said I won't do that I'm only loyal to one person and she's waiting for me at home, my best girl, and now you're here!" Bob rambled, as (Y/N) and Rooster helped him get into the car.

"Thanks again for calling me, Bradley. I'm sorry he's such a dope."

"No problem at all, (Y/N). He loves you a lot, you know. I'm glad guys are getting hitched." He replied with a smile.

"Yeah, I love him too I guess." She joked, "You need a ride?" Nah, I'm only a block away. See you later, kid."

As she climbed back into her car, Bob was going off on a tangent about something she couldn't quite understand.

"I love you so much, you know that (Y/N)?" He said much clearer, his hand reaching over to grab her free one.

"I know, baby, I love you too. You tired?" She said, glancing over at him.

He was unable to answer, as he had fallen asleep just as fast as she had asked the question.

the incredibly deep and thoughtful meaning behind Deputy Gigi’s name is that she is the deputy and Gigi is my nickname and she is named that way because she is my fun little self-insert lady with a fun little hat. 😎

On a more serious note: I have thought a lot about her name by now and have come to the conclusion that I find it highly amusing if she were to just go by her first name (which is possibly a nickname, I haven’t decided yet) and title and nobody really knew that much about her full name because it does not really matter in the end anyway. She’ll introduce herself as the Junior Deputy or Deputy Gigi and people are all confused and will be like..? “Is Gigi your surname? Is this a nickname? Your nametag says Rook.” in absolute confusion. She’d just shrug and leave them in the dark.

although I have considered making Rook her last name but I am somewhat hesitant about that for some reason I do not know

according to some mediocre ecosia research (use ecosia btw! it’s great!) ooooh fun fun fun! I love talking about style and this specifically!

At first, Gigi was really attached to her uniform. To a point where it took a good bit of persuasion from Dutch until she finally agreed to at least take it off to let it dry. (She then also gave it a rinse because lake water stinks and she eventually came to the realization that she cannot be a respectable deputy if she smells like days-old fish pee.)

But during the first few weeks after the helicopter crash, she will absolutely not take that damn uniform off. Not even if it gets really hot under the shirt. It is so ingrained in her that she is responsible for protecting the citizens of Hope County, especially now that the situation has escalated. She. Cannot. Possibly. Fail. Them. It’s not only her job but her duty and the uniform that represents this role as Junior Deputy is the only thing that she can cling to for at least a brief sense of security and pre-reaping normalcy.

Then, after having witnessed one too many deaths, presumably on the resistance side - that she of course secretly blames herself for - something in her snaps and she ditches the uniform because at this point it does not mean anything anymore anyways. So from then on, she sports her skinny jeans and the trouble maker crop top. John swears it’s a deliberate decision to taunt them because her new clothes show off the scars he gave her all too well and OH MY GOD IT’S NAKED SKIN! LITTLE JOHNNY JUST HAS TO STARE!

She also ditches her old boots eventually for a pair of trainers which she takes from an abandoned home. It’s something she hates doing but her boots are basically falling apart by then and decent shoes in her size are hard to come by when nobody gets in or out of the county. She makes a mental note to get whoever they previously belonged to a new pair if they are both still alive when the cult is finally defeated though.

And of course, not to forget, her cowboy hat! It was something Dutch allowed her to take from his bunker. It belonged to a family member once but they have stopped visiting him quite a while ago and he figures she can keep it. Also a little ref to Sheriff Whitehorse who she respects a lot and who is someone my dep looks up to.

4. How do they carry themselves? What’s their default expression?

When Dep Gigi is on the job she can sometimes seem a bit stiff due to stress. She chose this job to help people and serve the community but has absolutely no clue how to handle genuine disrespect from other people (except for the occasional post-work-shower cry) which unfortunately is also part of it tho. Not super often, especially not in a small place like Hope County though. So she’s usually just… pretty normal? Okay, she can charming and insanely flirtatious but those qualities really get to shine when she’s off the clock.

Apart from that, being polite and having good manners are very important to her. At least initially. When people get to know her better her naivité can sometimes make her seem a little bit like an idiot but she doesn’t care if it does because she’s being her authentic self and she embraces that part of her personality. Any person who is disrespectful to her, because of this specifically but because of anything else too, can suck a bag of dicks anyway and she will make sure they know that. Her politeness does not extend that far.

5. Do they have any physical ailments or disabilities?

Fortunately nothing major (a real privilege, especially in the US eofhibduedvbiu). She does grind her teeth though. Oh boy! If it’s especially bad her jaw will make sounds akin to volcanic eruptions every time she tries to open her mouth the next few days.

Despite being super young her joints, especially knees and ankles, sound worse than firing shotguns. It does not hurt or anything, just special effects. It absolutely cracks Sharky up. You’d think it would get old after the first few times of her crouching down but apparently, it doesn't. Eli says it's a security risk when they have to go full stealth somewhere though which Gigi thinks is a joke at first but he is actually serious about it.

The easiest way to Gigi’s heart is food. Food and horses. She has been riding horses as long as she can walk and she absolutely loves spending time with those animals. And she loves to cook and eat! She loves taking care of people by cooking for them and getting cared for in the same way. If you get her takeout after she had a long day of work she’ll basically be down to get married on the spot (John, take note! You should have brought Bang Bang Broccoli with Tofu to the church instead of those dead ravens).

During the reaping, she would love nothing more than to catch a break with a book. She prefers non-fiction but at the time she would take basically anything to just take her mind off the whole mess for a while...

4. What are they bad at?

Everything car maintenance. Not because she is dumb or doesn’t care but she just never properly learned and definitely would learn much better if someone took the time and showed her instead of her trying to teach it herself. She also needs insanely long to do math, something she is highly embarrassed about. And, blame the ADHD once more, her mind often just leaves the conversation like a soon-to-be-parent to get a pack of smokes. Something she feels bad about too but cannot really help.

Otherwise, she can be bad at taking care of herself. Setting boundaries, especially with her beloveds ✨? Hardly ever heard of her. She’d honestly cut her leg off in a heartbeat if it would help a friend. This has not happened yet (let’s hope for the best) but she pulls many all-nighters or runs on little sleep just to help out someone else. Unlike John, she is not looking for more things to say yes to but simply cannot stop it. Good thing she was actually mentally present back in the bunker otherwise she’d probably have said yes to him super absentmindedly.

Gigi, fortunately, does not really have any addictions, although she lets others hit it so often that some have worried about her possibly being a nymphomaniac before. It's all good though, a girl just likes to fuck. 🙈

In regards to mental illnesses, she does have ADHD and suffers all the consequences that come with it. Especially after going off her meds when she runs out after the helicopter crash. But she survives it. It took until adulthood for her to get diagnosed, so she does know how to at least somewhat handle her own unmedicated ass. Tweak has offered to make her her own Ritalin but so far she has always politely declined.

She does sporadically get some nihilistic and depressed feelings as a fun extra BUT Hope County keeps her so busy that she at least does not have much time to dwell on them when they turn up.

My deputy is an idealist and her biggest goal and motivation is helping people and making the world a better place. Cheesy but that is what she really wants.

Spot fucking on! As mentioned, manners are super important to her. To her, it's a sign of respect to be well-behaved. (At least around new people. When she gets comfortable around someone her chaotic side takes over.)

As far as habits go, she can be a bit compulsive. Additionally, she can be a forgetful bean and when she's excited will not shut up.

9. What are they most afraid of?

first and foremost losing her loved ones. They mean the world to her and no matter the circumstances she would definitely see herself at fault. Gigi is very scared that she will not be able to protect Hope County from the cult. (As if that was her destiny but then again, what do you expect from someone with Chronic Hero Syndrome™ and masochistic tendencies?)

secondarily it is probably John. Sure, Jacob's trials get to her, and Faith's Bliss-induced nightmare trips are something she could very well do without but John has simply found a way to get in her head, he doesn't even have to try hard for it. Him being so blatantly sexual is something my deputy cannot shake off. It reminds her of past encounters she would rather remove from her conscience in a heartbeat if possible. John is having a field day poking around at her trauma and over time the seeds just fuck her up enough that she ends up in bed with them somehow.

Ahem but yeah, even though she did not really plan on it, when she heard of a position as junior deputy being available further out from the city she jumped at the opportunity hoping to enjoy the country life again and the job being a bit quieter than in Missoula. That, unfortunately, did not go according to plan though. When Gigi got concerned about not being able to find a future place to live for weeks, not even right before she was supposed to start at the new department, it was already too late to beg her old boss for her job back. At least she had not given up her city apartment yet but her lease was going to be up soon too. Her plan B was to start looking for a place when she'd be a little better known by the locals, hoping someone would have mercy on her and let her at least rent a spare room. Until then she'd have to suck it up and just commute. That worked out until her second day.

Now she doesn't stay in one place long enough to call it home anyways. The closest to that would probably be the room above the Spread Eagle Mary May "rents" out to her sometimes. (Gigi promises to pay her back when she can access her bank account again, Mary May insist that it is the least she can do for her after getting back the Widowmaker and doesn't wanna hear about money no more, for the last fucking time Gigi!) Otherwise, she will crash at a friend's or lover's place. Sometimes on a couch, an air mattress, occasionally in a tent or car. She also tried squatting in someone's abandoned home once but felt too guilty to catch more than a few minutes of sleep at a time.

Later on, John asks her to move in with him on the ranch – needy little cunt – if she'd just join the project which is simply an amazing topic for pillow talk! Of course, she declines but she'd be lying if she did not think about how nice and easy things would be if she could just stay in the luxurious house for at least a little while.

Deputy Gigi is absolutely chaotic good. A very loud, very fun, and caring mom-friend. Okay, maybe not exactly mum but fun auntie-friend? Active describes it the best. My deputy is definitely a people-person. She also values her alone-time but she is naturally outgoing flirty and sexual (when she is not on the job) so she does date and sleep around. I forgot to mention this previously but she does not wanna have kids. She’d get her tubes tied in an instant if someone offered it to her. But she can be the must fun Auncle in the world! 😎

Even though she has not known him for long, Whitehorse has already taken on a mentor role to the dep and she deeply respects and appreciates him. Just like her, he is very focused on being humane and staying humble in a job that often attracts rather ... aggressive and self-centered individuals. She wishes she had even just a quarter of his calmness (and maybe she is viewing him as a bit of a work-dad, oops).

Generally, she trusts everyone who is in the resistance. They are working for the same cause after all. She does not have the time or brain space to worry about anyone acting suspiciously. The locals know each other better anyway so that is something that can lose sleep about.

Two words: Wing. Coaster. She generally enjoys rollercoasters but those are her favorite. Staci and Joey took her to an amusement park shortly before her first day to bond a bit and get to know her. Hair is definitely brown, maybe chocolate brown but nothing lighter or darker. Their features are sharp, striking, chubby cheeks? A biss ain't got none. They're so defined you'd think Michelangelo sculpted them to life. But it's a beautiful definition of their facial features, so it's no surprise Taehyung is head over heels. I want to say too that they probably look so much younger than they actually are. They could be fifty and look early twenties, they've got incredibly youthful looks.

How are they together?

On the outside looking in, they seem almost strict, like this union is holding Taehyung back. But in actuality, together they're very at home with each other. This is the kind of relationship where it looks intense and it IS intense. Their energies together really unlock all the other parts that have laid dormant inside themselves. Most importantly for Taehyung he really sees the mother energy inside his partner. They're very maternal and he falls in love with that aspect every day because he can't wait to see it in action. But I think the best thing about this union is that they bring light within each other. They ignite the self love and positivity within Taehyung, so he can display that energy confidently. Likewise Taehyung is able to bring the same energy to his partner, they bring out the best in each other. To everyone who knows them, they see this energy and it's almost addictive because it rubs off on anyone near them. They really will do wonderful things together and I'm sure they'll find a way to help change the world positively.

hi there famed, its ur least favorite idiot jamie again, back on my usual bs of saying im going to get my shit together, dipping to go on hiatus and then returning with a plotting call. school has just been kicking my ass and i’m a little bitch. i have yet to give a rundown on my muses (jaewon/yuanjun/minah/yena) during q2 so i’ll be leaving a rundown of that below the cut and with that offering hopefully some plotting ideas, i mainly need more stuff on jaewon and minah but anyting is welcome really. if you wanna work some plotting stuff out pls like this post, slide into my ims or just hmu on d*sc*rd (which, feel free to ask for if you don’t have it yet!!!)

jaewon:

april was largely spend finishing up his solo projects and preparing for unity’s comeback

also there was that champion concert in japan that should be a big deal but truly jaewon didn’t give a fuck

from march 3 - june 3 unity will be promoting make a wish and honestly jaewon is vibing

resonance does really well, he’s surprisingly not naked on stage for unity standards and he just gets to first and foremost focus on unity and their progress so he’s super content

he’s still super busy tho, between unity stuff he has an upcoming portal song which as will be revealed is more or less an elaborate teaser for his first solo concert which will be held in july just after his birthday

it doesn’t take up an awful lot of his time yet but preparations are starting up and it’s definitely on his mind already

he also has an ost for sweet home coming up which, doesn’t rlly offer a lot of plotting wise but considering that its first ost it is an indicator that dimensions are more dedicated than ever to keep him in the public eye and talked about after his last album did pretty well, which is a good sign for him and his creative freedom

but yeah i think... we’re getting generally happy and content jaewon again for a bit? which means he’ll be less awful and snappy to deal with

yuanjun:

left & right has wrapped up by now and yuanjun had fun, it wasn’t very challenging but he had fun

charm seems very busy with japanese promotions and stuff but it doesn’t seem to be taking up that much time

while other charm members are busier with doing stuff for their personal careers yuanjun is just... kind of not

the radio show is still going steady but that’s the most consistent thing

he tries to do some more stuff for his youtube channel, on the one hand because he has time on his hands and wants to do cool things

on the other hand because he likes proving he’s more amusing than the base online youtube channel (he’s kidding... kinda... not rlly)

so yeah, relatively a lot of free time, will be used to annoy his friends

minah: 

loads of lipstick things 

first minah is ticket one way’ing after that they quickly move on hurt locker prep

she doesn’t love either comeback but they’re nice, she enjoys the time with her members and is proud of them as ever

there is a lot of switching back and forth between her own work and lipstick music 

she’s releasing a single in late may that she’s working very hard for

and then there is her first full album all the way down in august but she’s already doing songwriting for it 

anyone willing to take them to some nice inspirational spots to aid the songwriting is very fair

apart from that minah might be hard to get a hold off

when you do, she’ll be very scatterminded and all over the place, seemingly constantly busy trying to keep up with anything though she will claim it’s fine, no stress at all

yena:

good news, the world of the married starts airing early may

bad news, gal.actic has a comeback like one week later

she won’t be allowed to bask much in her newly found acting fame and will spend all of fri.sat.sun complaining about how she has better shit to do

there is we are legendary for collaborate as well which, again, yena doesn’t care for being here, she just wants to go home

but back to the first point, the world of the married does rlly well for her, like, really well, earning her a lot of recognition outside of gal.actic

ofc she’ll be dealing with some shit ab how she’s perfect for the role of a spoiled homewrecker breaking up a married couple but whatever yena is too busy being rich and sexy to care

she will be in super high spirits about it, will take talking about the drama over talking about gal.actic any day of the year

will take any excuse to celebrate the drama’s succes rlly

just good yena wild party girls antics now she feels a bit more secure in what she’s doing and acting seems more and more viable as a sustainable future
