Grace’s birthday is approaching (October 15) and I wanted to do a little something special for her! I’m sure it’s been a rough week for her and maybe she’s feeling like the fanbase doesn’t really like her (because of a group of fans) so I was thinking it would be nice to gather a few messages from true supporters that genuinely like/love her and post them all in unison! I have a few ideas,,, I’m not very good at editing BUT I WILL TRY!!! I’ll come up with something.

I find the fact that the confrontation at the end of UTRH is often summarized as Jason asking Bruce to kill the Joker for him fascinating.

Because that's not what happened.

Jason holds a gun up to Joker's head, gives Bruce another, and tells him that if Bruce doesn't do something (shoot Jason), he will kill Joker.

Jason doesn't give the gun to Bruce so that he would shoot Joker. He isn't expecting Bruce to pull the trigger on the clown. He's asking Bruce to do nothing. To be inactive. Because that will still be a choice, and despite having done nothing, everybody clearly agrees that Bruce would still, at least in part, be responsible for Joker's death.

...And to me, this moment is a kind of- microcosm, of the rest of Jason's point. Because after being captured and carted off to Arkham, the villain will escape again, and will kill more people. The only way to truly prevent that from happening would be to kill them; Bruce refuses to do so, and I respect his right to choose such a thing for himself, but it is still a choice, and if we agree that Bruce's inaction during the confrontation would leave him at least partly responsible for the Joker's death, then we must also agree that his inaction in permanently preventing the Rogues from killing more people means he is also, partly, responsible for all of those deaths.

If you want to get into Enstars lore...

With the upcoming prsk collab, I'm sure it's attracting people genuinely interested in learning Enstars lore. (Or if you're someone who's been playing Enstars but hasn't been engaging in the lore) In that case, do NOT start with the Reminiscence series, but instead, I highly recommend to read the Main Story first before anything else. You can read it through the English server, BUT if you want to know the very start of Enstars lore, read Basic/! era Main Story. (However, the unfortunate side is that Enstars doesn't really allow fan translations...)

You'd see people recommending stories from the Reminiscence series (Checkmate, Crossroad, Element, Marionette, Meteor Impact, Obligatto, etc.), but I highly advise to NOT read them if it's your first time learning Enstars lore — this was my mistake when I was a new fan lol. But if you do already know tidbits about Trickstar and Jin & Akiomi, then I do recommend reading their Reminiscence stories, which are Rocket Start and Guilty of Perjury respectively since it mainly tells their formation and initial dynamic with each other. The other Reminiscence stories I mentioned deal with heavy topics and require knowledge from ! era Main Story, so I really advise reading those first. It would give you a wrong impression of the characters (which is why I didn't like Shu and Eichi when I was new because my introduction to them was through Marionette💔 I'm a big ValkyrieP now though and i also love fine!)

If you want story recommendations for specific units (particularly Valkyrie, Knights, Switch, Akatsuki, 2wink, Trickstar), just send me a DM! I'm super willing to help anyone who wants to learn more about these lovely units

i have been thinking that in the aftermath one of the things player finds all of the charathers that were presumely dead were trapped inside an huge cage the prototype placed them if they fail to do his order and depending on what waits us in the next chapter(s) the fianl battle and the rescue would be something that came straight from "who framed roger rabbit"

It'd be fun to see them all appear at the end (especially if I could somehow swing the excuse to allow all the critters to team up with the Player, Poppy, and Kissy against the Prototype). I've literally spent my trips to and from work thinking over how to introduce other characters that I want to survive. This is a fun one!

in lieu of having posted any writing/headcanons/asks in the past few days because i have been *so* busy and unable to do anything fandom-related which is terrible and evil, i have a poll out of morbid curiosity and self-indulgence. i've been meaning to ramble here about how i feel about DC's lack fo Deaf representation and which Batfam members i would personally make Deaf, but i am mildly curious about the larger opinion and now i will subject you all to the question, i would love to hear thoughts/opinions/headcanons on any specific choices.
