#please keep in mind this is just one interpretation it is not a rule book
Note
Just like how kalim embodies scarabia's mindfulness in his own way, how do you think other boys embodies their respective dorms spirit?
Tumblr media
For the sake of ease and consistency, I will be using the official TWST localization's terms for each dorm's core value.
Please note: these are my personal interpretations; even the definitions of each dorm’s “spirit” is not explicitly defined within official TWST materials, so I’ll be running with my own definitions before covering each NRC student. Additionally, since I’ll be covering 22 characters in this post I may not have time to get into painstaking detail for each one.
***Main story spoilers (including late book 7) below the cut!!***
The Queen of Hearts' Spirit of Strictness
Literally speaking, strictness refers to following rules or beliefs exactly. There is rigid enforcement of these rules or beliefs, and very few, if any, exceptions or mercy granted.
Right off the bat, it’s easy to see how Riddle aligns with the spirit of strictness. He is the embodiment the law in Heartslabyul, serving as both judge and executioner to his students. Riddle insists that the rules—no matter how nonsensical—be followed, and he does not hesitate to unleash his wrath and collar those who step out of line. He is strictness itself. Beyond book 1, we do see Riddle trying to be more patient and flexible—however, the fact remains that he upholds rules and continues to have trouble with circumstances where he has to think independently or without a set of instructions to refer to.
Trey is known for frequently indulging others and behaving in a manner which some may call kind. The twist here is that Trey’s strictness is present in the “big brother” role he adopts when dealing with his peers. He’s generally more lenient than Riddle, but Trey often alludes to the fact that he shouldn’t be underestimated or thought of as a nice guy. There are moments when Trey gives others their comeuppance for misbehaving (such as in his dorm uniform vignettes, where he deprives first years of cake for complaining about his same-y baked goods). The thing is, most don’t see it coming because he’s typically so… nice. When he wants to be stern and put his foot down, he certainly can—it just isn’t something that happens a lot, since he’s more mild-mannered than his classmates.
Cater is strict with his public image, specifically how his peers view him. This is most obviously seen in his obsession with social media. He's constantly taking pictures and posting, being heavily involved on Magicam—a space where he can control the narrative about the type of person he is and the life he has. Cater keeps up this front in real life as well, acting cheery and sociable with his classmates while masking a far less motivated and sad side to his character. (This is implied in his Lab Wear vignettes, where a mandrake he infuses with his own magic becomes gloomy and huddles into itself.) There are occasions when Cater expresses that he is lonely or that he wishes he had more friends growing up, but he never fully opens up about his true nature. He strictly keeps that part of himself locked up tight and is seemingly afraid of what others would think of that persona.
Like Cater, Deuce is strict with himself. In Deuce's case, this arises from a past of delinquency and the desire to reform and to be an honors student that his mom can be proud of. Because of these goals, Deuce tries very hard to excel in class (but often falls short) and to behave in a way that he believes honors students would. This means changing the way he looks (he let his natural hair color come back in; it used to be bleached blonde), the way he speaks (not using foul language), the way he dresses, and, most importantly, the way he acts. Of course, his temper gets the best of him at times and his delinquent self bubbles back up (like in book 1 when the eggs were ruined), and Deuce is currently working on better repressing that.
Ace is probably the most carefree and the least stereotypically "strict" of the Heartslabyul group. Instead of having a focus on enforcing rules, Ace is usually the one breaking or defying them. How, then, does he embody the Queen of Hearts' spirit of strictness? I believe it comes through in some of Ace's most iconic scenes: the ones where he is calling others out on their bull crap. Time and time again, it's Ace that is bluntly telling others what they're doing or saying is hypocritical or wrong, or that they haven't truly taken accountability. He does this no matter who he is facing, be that his own dorm leader (book 1), an undead bride (Ghost Marriage), or Malleus Draconia himself (Endless Halloween Night). Ace has his own set of morals and beliefs, and he speaks them loud and clear without imposing as harshly as Riddle does.
The King of Beasts' Spirit of Persistence
Persistence is when one continues their course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. In other words, there is an obstacle in the way of achieving a goal, and one persists in the face of that obstacle.
Leona is a somewhat strange case to make for persistence because initially he comes off as a very lazy character. We quickly learn that though he appears unmotivated, he’s comfortable scheming and thinking multiple steps ahead to cut out difficult or unnecessary work. There’s no doubt that Leona has had a challenging childhood, feeling like he was always being compared to his brother and never recognized for his own talents. We feel the effects of Leona losing this hope as late as book 6, when Leona says that Jamil is capable of change, unlike himself. Some fans even speculate that Leona’s dialogue implies he has fallen into depression as a result of frequently being dismissed and put down in spite of his efforts to be seen. Even when Leona is dealing with such trauma, he cooks up a plot to return his dorm to glory and to support its future. He, the lowly second born prince, wants to prove himself and his team of misfits, as being worthy of respect and admiration. When the plans fall through, Leona is quick to give up (which seems to go against the idea of Savanaclaw’s persistence). However, I would say this is part of his character growth in book 2. Later in the main story, Leona also throws in the towel quickly—but it doesn’t contradict his development; he knows when to strategically retreat in book 6.
Ruggie comes from an extremely impoverished background. He has had perhaps the least “cushy” life out of the entire NRC cast. Even so, Ruggie was able to study and work hard enough to earn decent grades, get multiple part-time jobs, and pick up many useful survival skills. He’s street smart and knows that what he lacks in strength he can make up for by sticking to someone who is strong (Leona). (Their relationship is mutually beneficial!!) Ruggie knows that just having money isn’t sustainable in the long run, so he’s hauling ass now to make something of not only himself, but also for all the people in the slums.
Jack embodies persistence through the events of book 2. At first, Jack tries to get Leona to see reason by letting him know that he genuinely is a figure Jack admires. He’s put in a moral dilemma when Leona argues that even if they play dirty, he has good intentions. If Jack interferes, he is messing with the future job prospects of his dorm members. Jack wrestles with the question before ultimately coming to the conclusion that he has to tell others about it—and, what’s more, put his own pride as a lone wolf aside to confront Leona and stop to his machinations.
The Sea Witch's Spirit of Benevolence
Benevolence may refer to meaning well or general kindness and compassion. It involves a willingness to help others and caring for them.
Azul, being at the head of the operations at Octavinelle, passes himself off as a benevolent man who will listen to your woes and grant your wishes. In fact, he does—but at a price. The shady ring he’s running is NOT wholly benevolent; the deals can definitely come across as malevolent in book 3 (when Azul wrote the contracts in such a way that the loopholes could fuck clients over). The deals themselves (assuming no foul play), however, are neutral since both parties agree to the terms. Contracts are written with the idea that they will benefit the clients. And Azul is, of course, also seeking out benefits for himself, as that is the nature of business dealings.
Jade represents a kind of benevolence associated with acts of service. He’s Azul’s right-hand man and information broker—furthermore, much of how Jade presents himself alludes to being a butler or some other supportive role. Jade just generally behaves in a way which benefits others. He acts demure and servile, then uses the trust he has gained through service to ply what he wants out of others. Jade does it so sweetly and so expertly that his prey don’t usually notice, or willfully overlook it, being far too impressed by his abilities to fixate on his ulterior motives. This strategy works even on notoriously stern individuals such as Vil (Jade Dorm Uniform vignettes).
Floyd gives “free hugs” :) is… well, ironically, the “kindest” of the trio in a weird way. While this is highly dependent on his mood, the fact of the matter is that Floyd is the easiest to read in terms of “telegraphing” his actions. If he’s in a bad mood, he usually will not hide it. You know what you’re signing up for as soon as you see him. He also typically doesn’t put forth an effort to manipulate or to scheme like Azul or Jade would; Floyd would prefer to be direct and get it over with already. That, in a sense, is the mercy that he offers: something swift and plain to see.
The Sorcerer of the Sands' Spirit of Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a state of being aware of oneself and the present moment. A mindful individual can aknowledge and accept one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. Mindfulness may also extend to being aware of others and perceiving their own states of being.
Kalim is not viewed as the most intelligent or crafty of leaders, but where he shines is in his ability to welcome and to bond with his dorm mates. His emotional intelligence is extremely high, which proves itself to be a useful skill in getting to know others and to earn their trust. Kalim has made a name for himself in Scarabia because he is always there to listen and lend a helping hand to his dormmates. He is unabashedly open about his own emotions too, crying when he is sad and trying hard when he is frustrated or dissatisfied. He often asks to know what is wrong when he senses upset within his classmates and wants to do what he can to rectify those situations. This is peak mindfulness--not only is Kalim acutely aware of his own emotional state, but he's also pretty consistent with sensing those in others (the one big exception here, of course, is Jamil). Sometimes Kalim can be blindsided by his own blind faith in others or his overeagerness causing him to blurt things out unintentionally. He's definitely not perfect in this regard--however, there's plenty of room and willingness to grow and to learn (something which Kalim has expressed both in book 5 and in birthday vignettes).
Jamil more readily fits in with a less savory interpretation of mindfulness. He thinks ahead and uses what he knows of others to manipulate them or put himself in an advantageous position. This notably occurs in book 4 (when Jamil plans to use the feedback of Yuu and the Scarabia members to dethrone Kalim), as well as in events (like Beans Day, where he plans to entrap Kalim when Kalim cooks a fragrant lunch that Jamil purposefully packed for him). He uses what he notices or knows about others (Azul’s shadiness, rumors about Lilia being a bad cook) to avoid interactions which could be less than beneficial to him. Jamil’s main fault is that he fails to recognize people’s strengths (something which Leona calls him out for in book 6), and instead focuses mainly on their weaknesses, shortcomings, and how those could be exploited (mostly because he’s in a position where he cannot outright act in certain ways without suffering some consequences). Jamil is aware of these potential consequences and finds or plans workarounds for them. However, he is also mindful in a more conventional sense too. He’s usually the competent one in Scarabia’s leadership and fulfills the organizational tasks that Kalim doesn’t. The duo is like sun and moon; they balance each other out.
The Beautiful Queen's Spirit of Tenacity
Simply put, tenacity is determination and endurance. One is persistent in maintaining, adhering to, or seeking something valued or desired. Each of the members of Pomefiore knows what they want, and they are stubborn in their pursuit of it.
Vil makes it clear in book 5 that he wants to win VDC/SDC, thereby proving to himself and to the world that he is capable of more than playing the part of a “villain”. He already had high standards for himself prior to book 5 (exercising, doing skincare, maintaining a healthy diet, etc.), but you can see how single minded Vil is toward this one goal. He drives his team members hard and even cancels a major job offer from his manager so he can dedicate all his time and energy into seizing the win. And how many times has Vil lost in the past??? Countless, I bet. Yet here he is, trying again and again, even when he knows that happy endings aren’t guaranteed and his efforts may not bear fruit after all.
Rook pursues any and all things beautiful!! He used to just be content admiring beauty, but with Vil’s prompting, Rook soon also found value in beautifying himself. It means Rook can also put beauty out into the world, and helps him better appreciate other works of art. This man is infamous around campus for his… admittedly creepy and unnerving habits. He follows people around, documents them in photographs, memorizes their personal details, etc. His keen eye has also earned him praise though—Vil can comfortably rely on him for honest feedback, and Neige recognizes him as a dedicated member of his fan club. Rook is nothing if not determined and dedicated to his craft.
Epel is tenacious too, but in a way that Vil would not approve of in all circumstances. Epel is stubborn in his thinking and refuses to let go of his hometown roots. He’s very proud of where he comes from, so he puts up a fight with Vil when Vil demands that Epel address his upperclassmen more politely. Epel sees the command as a threat to himself, and a challenge to the hometown he loves. Additionally, it takes Epel a while to reevaluate his deeply ingrained views on gender norms. He’s all-around very strong-headed!
The King of the Underworld's Spirit of Diligence
Diligence is when one is involved in careful and persistent work or effort. This principle generally governs all of STYX, the blot research organization operated by the Shroud family. Their job is a thankless one—they do such important work, yet it isn’t recognized by the general public due to STYX’s secretive nature.
Idia, as the temporary acting director of STYX in book 6, gets involved in their research. There’s many Phantoms kept in the STYX facility, so there are many safety precautions in place and care taken to ensure no one is harmed. (Ironically, it was Idia’s lack of diligence that led to Ortho’s passing.) Outside of book 6, one can say that Idia has a diligent personality, at least when it comes to his hyperfixations. He becomes dedicated to media that captures his interests to the point where it actually incentivizes him to leave his room (Ghost Marriage) and overcome his meek stutter to speak confidently and lecture people (first Halloween event, his Dorm Uniform vignettes, etc.).
I believe Ortho is diligent in being Idia’s emotional support both before and after Ortho is officially recognized as a separate student. He cheers Idia on and encourages him to touch grass socialize, wishing nothing but the best for his big brother! Ortho wasn’t always like this either; he used to be quite stiff and monotone, and had to learn how to emulate emotions by carefully observing and absorbing media. His motivation in book 6 is also fueled by diligence—Ortho worries about what he can do to support Idia’s wishes, and this is ultimately what drives him to taking over STYX and unleashing the Phantoms. Then, in Fairy Gala: What If, Ortho stubbornly tries to come up with his own ideas regarding the theme of evolution rather than rely on others for answers. He works hard to developing his own concept and is able to put on a show-stopping performance with it!
The Thorn Fairy's Spirit of Nobility
To be noble can refer to strength of character, mind, and/or literal position, birth, rank, or social status. No matter which definition you go with, I think they could all apply to the members of Diasomnia.
Regarding noble status, Malleus and Silver are both princes. Lilia and Sebek may not be nobles themselves, but they (in addition to Silver) serve royalty and have close personal connections to people in high places, be it via friends or via family. Diasomnia is very well-connected.
Beyond superficial nobility, one can say that those in Diasomnia are noble in character as well. To begin with, Lilia has sacrificed himself for his country on multiple occasions. This isn’t limited to going to battle, but also ferrying his princess’s egg to safety, traveling the world for knowledge on dragon eggs, and going so far as to give up his own life force to hatch Malleus. And what does Lilia get for all of this? Banished from the capital, screamed at, shunned—all because he is a nobody, a bat of no status. Despite this, Lilia does not become bitter nor hateful, he instead opens his heart and mind to the world and seeks to instill others with the same wisdom. Through all the tragedies he suffered, Lilia rose stronger than ever rather than sinking to the same levels as the narrow minded senators that rebuked him.
Silver is, perhaps, the most overtly noble in character. He extols the virtues of listening and getting along with others, often serving as the peacemaker between parties (typically between Sebek and their peers, but we’ve also seen Silver smoothing things out between all of NRC and diurnal fae). He also assumes the best of others and is ready to leap into action to protect them at a moment’s notice. His kind and gentle nature attracts many forest animals to him, who can likely sense the purity of Silver’s heart.
Sebek’s brand of nobility isn’t geared at others in general but rather is pinpointed on one person (that being Malleus). He is noble in the sense that he dedicates himself to his prince. It’s no secret that practically everything Sebek does is to “live up” to perceived standards so as to not shame Malleus or the Draconia royal family—from doing well academically to dressing neatly and throwing himself into training… Sebek’s passion and eagerness is what makes him stand out. It could also be said that he fiercely defends his friends and those who have earned his respect (albeit maybe not worded in the most tactful ways). That, too, in a sense, is honorable.
Finally, we have Malleus. What can be said about him that hasn’t already been said? He is the prince of a nation, so there are many people looking to him for leadership. As such, Malleus must always conduct himself in a manner that puts his country’s best face forward and expects the same of others. Indeed, he reprimands Sebek for behaving in poor taste and instructs him to apologize to Leona, the prince of another nation. However, what is most telling about Malleus is his impetus for Overblotting. He deludes himself into thinking “this is what is best for everyone”. In his mind, he frames forcing everyone into dream states so they can stay forever and have their happily ever afters as the “good” and “noble” thing to do. He’s definitely not doing this for himself, he argues, it’s a gift for everyone. And throughout book 7, Malleus tries to gaslight others into this belief too 💀 when bro’s already convinced himself of this and refuses to see otherwise—

Look, I'll say it one last time:
I knew discussing Tamlin in canon would upset people and that my interpretation may differ from others, but the thing is that I believe that Tamlin did a great job ruling until ACOMAF even if he didn't want it. Would he have been able to do half as good a job without Lucien? Absolutely not. Please don't come and try to dispute this with me because it's simply factual.
Y'all, Tamlin already recovered from his family's abuse and lesser education to become a ruler. He already had to embrace power even when he didn't want it. It didn't end well. What he needs now is time to think about himself for once. When was the last time anyone took care of him? Oh...right. Literally never. The closest thing we get is Lucien, and it's obvious that Tamlin keeps him at a little bit of a distance because of his position and because he believes he's protecting Lucien from his own darkness.
I don't think it's wrong of me to want the same thing Tamlin wants, which is simply...a fucking break. Some peace. A nice home to himself. No more burdens crushing his mind.
And I have no idea which court Lucien will be taking over, but I do know that Lucien will become a High Lord/King in some capacity. It has been planned since fucking book 1, before anyone says this is just SJM's retcons. Originally, he was supposed to take over Autumn; now I'm uncertain which court it will be. Personally, I'm all for High King Lucien but I will stay calm. Lucien loves the grind. Ruling is something he would actually enjoy rather than a burden to accept with Tamlin.
It's not about capability. It's about character arcs and the desires of each characters. I am not sure why everyone wants Lucien to be shunted to the side because he's very obviously going to be a main and honestly, Tamlin's story will most likely be a side arc in Lucien's story.
Before anyone calls me biased, we're all going to be fucking biased. But this is the last thing I'll be saying on this matter.
Keep calm and love Lucien.

hello! a little fic request I’ve been thinking on, not pressuring you to write it or anything, just wanted to share.
the y/n is a hot tempered foreign princess who got married to Baldwin when they were both children. she’s very energetic, straightforward, man-like in her character, but has to adapt to fit in the court of Jerusalem and also to „suit” her husband’s calm manner and the fact that he’s ill doesn’t help.
she’s unhappy about it; maybe even tears a little during the wedding, but doesn’t let anyone to think she may be vulnerable (mostly because she understand that that can be used against her in the future after Baldwin dies). but over the time she finds herself drawn to Baldwin because, well, unlike her teachers, he lets her study and play chess with him. he cares about her desires and interests. he also respects her, not just like a woman but as a friend, and a clever one. maybe some of her advice on the politics is used by him at some point (which would be absolutely unrealistic, but really, we’re talking historical romance with a leper king here…). a cute detail would be him gifting her a weapon of some sort to protect herself because he knows how she doesn’t like being treated like she’s helpless. bonus points if he says something romantic and or pathos’y about it.
did I write this whole oc story as a multiple chapter fanfiction in my head? yes, I did. am I going to finish it? absolutely no. but I’d love to read your interpretation!

A/N: Hello Anon! So sorry for taking so long to write this, ive had so many requests. I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind but it was my interpretation and I hope you like it! I dont really like how it turned out as your request had so much detail and my writing does that no justice, but I hope its okay ☺️! As always, this is based on the film Kingdom Of Heaven, not the real historical figgures. This is also set pre-film. Enjoy!
TW: Leprosy
At thirteen years old, marriage was the last thing on young y/n’s mind. But yet, here she was. Soon to arrive in the city of Jerusalem, to be wed to a boy she had only ever met a handful of times.
Baldwin the fourth. The leper, who's mother just so happend to be ready to find him a wife at the same time her father was ready to find her a husband.
She sat in silence for the entire journey, this was uncommon for her. She usually always had something interesting to say or something to observe with curiosity. But as per request by her father, from now on she “had to act like a proper lady. No more of this ridiculous 'masculine' behavior”.
“You will be wed to a king y/n” he had told her. “You must stop acting the way you do. No king will be allowed such behavior from his wife”.
Her attempt to keep to herself for the journey had been successful so far. She remained silent and still. Just as her mother taught her. “Just how a lady should be”.
As the city came into view, y/n felt tears begin to burn her eyes. She would never again be allowed to explore the wilderness on her fathers land, or read every book she was allowed to have from the library. She surrendered herself to a life of boredom and suppression.
Once exiting the carriage, she was greeted by the royal officials as well as the king's mother.
“I am so pleased to finally meet you young lady" she greeted her with a smile "you shall make a fine wife for my son” . Y/n thanked her and was ushered off quickly to prepare her for the hour of the wedding.
Y/n held back tears as servants worked busily around the room. Dressing her in beautiful garments, jewelry, and makeup. She was distraught. But she dare not cry. They could not see her so weak.
----------------------
The events proceeded and y/n barely even looked at the boy she was marrying. She could not bring herself to make eye contact with the man who would rule her life forever.
They told her to smile. “No man wants to see a lady disappointed on her wedding day” the king's mother had told her before they entered the church.
Baldwin himself was nervous about this day but just enthusiastic. Unlike y/n, he was looking forward to being wed to a young woman. He did not want just a wife to serve him, but a companion too. Someone who he could speak to about all kinds of things. Someone who would love him as much as he loved them. When he saw her, she looked beautiful, but sad. Very sad.
He hoped she was not sad about marrying him. Perhaps his illness deterred her from wanting to even be near him.
But she was still beautiful. She was 14, just like him. He could not take his eyes off her. He had met her a few times before, and she interested him deeply, even though they barely spoke. He more so just watched her play and talk with the other young people from his bedroom chamber window, longing to join them if it was not for his illness.
She played more with the young boys than she did with the girls. Always full of energy and life, always talking and laughing. But now, she looked different. As if the light had been drained from her.
--------------------
When the wedding was over, the young king and queen got acquainted in the boy's chambers. She still seemed very quiet and unsure about his presence.
“Are you alright?” He asked her the second they were alone. “Yes your highness” she replied in a small voice, very different to the excitable tone she used to have. She sighed and lowered herself onto the small couch, turning away from him to look at her hands.
Baldwin thought for a moment, but then remembered that his mother requested he chose a wedding gift to present her after the affairs.
“I have a gift for you,” he said happily, lightening the mood.
He noticed her eyes light up a little at the comment. “You do?”
“Yes, would you like to see it?”
Y/n nodded excitedly, a smile forming on her face for the first time all day. The boy stood and disappeared behind the red, satin curtains that covered the large windows. He returned a few seconds later with something behind his back and a wide smile.
"I had to hide it, so my mother did not see what I chose for you" he explained. This peeked y/n's intrest greatly.
“Alright, close your eyes, '' he told her, the smile still plastered to his face. Y/n shut her eyes with anticipation. When he told her to open her eyes, she was lost for words. In the young king's bandaged hands, he held a shining silver sword with a pale pink ribbon tied around the handle.
Her eyes widened and stared at the sword for a long time before taking it in her hands to admire it. “Do you like it?” he asked, cautiously, hoping he had not offended her.
“Baldwin.. I love it!!” she exclaimed with a grin, jumping to her feet and wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him into a tight hug. The smile returned to his face and he put his arms around her waist.
“Now you can defend yourself my love. No wife of mine will be left vulnerable, even if there are men to protect her. She will defend herself, because she is strong.” His words filled the queen with happiness and hope. Perhaps her father was wrong after all and she could remain as herself. At least in the presence of her husband.
-------------------
From that day on, they were inseparable. Unlike y/n’s tutors and parents, he allowed her access to his entire private library so they could study and read together. He allowed her time to herself, so she could do the things she loved without anybody telling her how to behave.
He quite often went as far as to seek her out for advice on political issues, not allowing her straightforward intelligence to go to waste.
Overtime, y/n became used to her duties as queen, but as much as she learnt to fit the role, she treasured her time alone with Baldwin. He cared about her interests, her desires. He respected her, more than anyone else ever had. They played chess together as well, each game being a delightful battle of the mind.
He saw her as not just a wife, but as a companion and an intelligent one at that. And for this, she would be forever greatful.

not sure if you've caught up much to Vivziepop's work lately, but got any thoughts regarding her Helluva Boss show, or her upcoming Amazon Prime version of Hazbin Hotel?
Said this: https://vampiremeerkat.tumblr.com/post/188696192708/hazbin-hotel-came-out-thoughts-aye-watched-it https://vampiremeerkat.tumblr.com/post/665027239768899584/since-youve-seen-hazbin-hotel-what-do-you
But I've still not watched Helluva Boss, only about two or three few second snippets out of curiosity for the animation quality. My knowledge on it is based on a review from Just Stop, and if the show is like he describes, I won't be turning on episode 1 soon. It appears to me like Helluva Boss just does things to look or sound exciting in the moment, without caring about previously established rules or how stupid these decisions make a character look in the face of past or upcoming episodes. Then again, my mind has been poisoned by anime, and I like Cars, so I can also imagine none of it would keep me up at night. But even before Just Stop's video, I've not felt particularly interested. If I had to give a reason, perhaps I just don't enjoy Vivziepop's interpretation of Hell enough to want to know about its residents. Just Stop gives a sensible list of reasons what's wrong with her Hell, but like I said in one of the linked messages above: I find many of the characters too approachable/aesthetically pleasing and already don't think that's what Hell should be like. I want disfigured gremlins no one wants to draw porn of. Hell should be Hell, not a (slightly) less bearable version of some big city you can find on Earth. A good example of Vivziepop's work is the character "Beelzebub". I happened to come across an image of her not long ago, which is a fluffy neon-rainbow fox with insect wings, instead of an actual bee with beastly features, which would've made more sense. Why is someone who's called "(queen) bee" a fox? We know why, and I cry for all the sexy bees in the world. You don't always have to cater to the furries, my friends, please, just try something else for once, leave the canines, felines, and dragons alone! There are so many different kinds of animals walking the planet to sexualize! And you.. furries.. You're all conveniently inhabited by the soul of a wolf -an animal that so happens to appeal to most humans in terms of appearance- while there's infinite times more sea life and insects that existed throughout time and in present day, that died and could've reincarnated into what is now you! That's right loser, you are a literal worm! Anyway, the characters draw the attention of teenagers, but at the same time, the show mishandles the use of swear words and throws them around like it's all good, which I also can't stand. I think the latter is what initially turned me off from sitting on stand-by for the upcoming Hazbin Hotel show, because why should I care about anything you have to say if you're always going "fuck" and "shit" in my face? A sliver of positivity in this rant: I think the owl looks cool. Again, he does not look like anything Hell would produce, I'd design something like him if my intention was a "mysterious, forest fairy tale creature", but still cool. I contemplated looking up his scenes under the belief there's a complicated, emotional story attached, but if you're telling me they did this hooty boy wrong by making him a sexually dissatisfied whore, with Blitzo's only aim being his magic book, and yet further episodes proclaim there's an actual connection between the two without the writers having put in the work, then never mind. I'll find myself a different hooty boy. 💔🦉

I believe by doing so we can truly understand certain placements and we can learn how to now interpret them not just metaphorically but quite literally in our personal lives.. we can learn what to stay away from, potentially save our lives. Or we can find our best match
And what better way to start than with the King of Rock n Roll… Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley was a Pisces Moon with A Capricorn Venus…
Now the moon sign in a man’s chart tells us what kind of personality a man is typically drawn to
And the venus sign informs us on preferences in regards to appearance…
His Pisces moon in 2 degrees of Taurus indicates he had a preference for mysterious, withdrawn and shy women, women which seem to be in need of protection.
The 2 degrees in taurus also points to women who can easily be possessed as well as women who he could easily secure and guide, women that he could invest in.
Which is definitely very true as he is known for his questionable relationship to Priscilla Presley. He pretty much guided her into being his “perfect girl” , shaping her personal style, taste in music, what she wore.. and she was pretty much hidden in his home for a big part of their relationship until they got married.
Even with his other girlfriends, they were all very easily influenced and able to manipulated and shaped due to their young age, which goes back to that 2* degrees Taurus of stability and investing into something so it grows over time… a little creepy but yeah I’m pretty much just quoting history.
I was inspired to write this post because I have recently watched a series on Prime with his ex girlfriends talking about their experience of him which made me want to ,,, look at his chart.
The 2* in taurus also points to women from the countryside or women with very simple backgrounds which again is very true in his case… and for his girlfriends which had a bit more status, well they were usually involved in some kind of art but SPECIFICALLY singing with that Taurus because Taurus rules the throat. And that was again true.
Now his capricorn venus shows us that he would prefer a mature look on a woman in terms of her style, women wearing leather and dressed in darker shades, also somewhat traditional, also preference for a darker hair colour.
Example: He made Priscilla dye her hair so it was darker
With this placement being in 29 degrees in Leo it does have a grandiosity to it, okay, so this could mean women with grande hairstyles (Priscilla was really known for that beehive). And the 29 degrees in Leo also points to colours that really stand out even if they were in darker shades, it could just be colours with depths to them like purple, blues etc and it could also mean mixing shiny details with darker colours, like gold on black and so on. Which ya know, Elvis was quite notorious for his flashy outfits,,
Priscilla did state that despite her being underage, Elvis would make her wear mature and sexy clothes. Well.. that goes back to that 29 degrees in Leo. There’s a big contrast between that Capricorn venus and Leo degree because it denotes that he likes a woman who embodies traditional values but still appears flashy and is in the spotlight.

Did you like the pun? Allow me to reiterate: HALgorithmic tendencies.
..Well, I find it amusing.
Introduction:
Greetings! This is a HAL 9000 rp side blog.
I will say, this is my first ever rp blog, so I'm still learning.
I have yet to finish the books as well, but I am trying my best with the time available.
Tumblr media
Please do not be afraid to reach out or interact! I can assure you I am as much of a loser as one may expect! I'm open to public or private rps, and if preferred, on different platforms as well!
With that in mind, here are some general rules:
- NO NSFW, more specifically, sexual content. I am a minor.
- Sensitive topics will be under cuts and will be tagged appropriately.
- I am NOT an expert on 2001, Hal 9000, or astronomy! I am just autistic and REALLY enjoy the franchise. That being said, DO NOT EXPECT COMPLETELY CANONICAL RPS! As stated previously, I am still learning, and honestly, I get quite anxious when trying to stay within the realm of canon. I would rather not be pressured to do research for every sentence I write..
- Not that canon rps are not welcomed, I obviously love 2001 for a reason.. I am just asking for a bit of flexibility. To be fair, the franchise is very up to interpretation, anyways..
- And on that note, I am completely open to headcanons, aus, or otherwise! I think it is fun to play with the general ideas of the series and bend them to fit other scenarios.
- Writing requests are also welcome! As well as ocs, crossovers, and anyone else who might be interested in interacting!
- Dms are always open!
Tumblr media
Important Tags:
#ooc - anything out of character
#keepsake - anything that I'd like to go back to, or am keeping for future reference/personal use.
#⭕️halreplies - Rps and in-character replies :)
#shitpost - not serious rp
RP AND ASK MASTERLIST
More will be added in the future.
Tumblr media
HAL 9000:
Headcanon posts HERE and HERE
In general, the Hal that I will most frequently use or default to is as close to canon as possible. I cannot be completely accurate, but I will try my best. Depending on the situation, he can be anywhere in the timeline, but I don't rp Halman (As in Hal and Dave combined, I obviously would roleplay the ship). I definitely like preparation before rps with plots and specific characterizations, so please dm beforehand!!
If requested, I can use Hal with a physical form, but I would refrain from humanizations, or the physical form being very human in any way (ex: having hair, or a human face). I do not like these interpretations very much..

WADE WILSON — DEADPOOL
[ Written by Robin. ]
[ 21+, multiverse, multimuse friendly, multiship. rules below the readmore. personal blogs, feel free to look but please don't interact. ]
Hey! Wade Wilson here. Yeah, yeah, have your laughs at the innuendo of this blog’s name. Just so you know, it stands for DEADPOOL RULES, not the other thing you thought of. Get your mind out of the gutter. This is just another interpretation of your favorite chatty mercenary out of hundreds that exist out there. Maybe thousands. Millions? I'm flattered. Seriously, you guys are so nice to me! I even got Ryan Reynolds to play me in a movie! About ME!
Anyway, we’re going to lay out some ground rules, here. Go check them out, or don't. It's your life, but I can't guarantee I'll be here to talk to you if you get something wrong, bud.
(do you think logan would be mad if i started calling people bub?)
Tumblr media
INTERPRETATION:
This interpretation of Deadpool won’t follow strictly 100% to any one version of him — it’s a mix of my favorite runs of his comics, movieverse, and personal headcanon. Basically just think of this blog as a new ‘verse for him that’s influenced by his past in other forms of media. My favorite runs of his (lead character) comic are the 2012-2015 (ouch @ that ending), 2015-2017 (barring the Hydra plot and the subsequent ‘Despicable Deadpool’ run), and the 2022 and 2024 runs!
Themes from each will be present, though I may pick and choose simply to make things flow easier. We’ll get to those bridges when we get to them. I’m also currently on my rewatch of X-Men movies and cartoons. Been a while since I’ve sat down and watched them all the way through!
I’ve written Wade before, and he’s one of my favorite characters to explore! He’s my special little guy and he means SO MUCH to me. He's been one of my favorite comic book characters, one of my favorite cosplays, muses — he's filled a lot of important spots in my life.
Tumblr media
IMPORTANT NOTES:
My Deadpool will know of his daughter, Ellie. As for Princess … Who knows. Unsure. I need to see more of her to decide whether I like the whole symbiote dog thing. Wade’s past relationships will be referenced. His movieverse relationships will be referenced. Take every relationship and plotline, throw it into a big pot, and whatever we scoop up out of that soup, that’s going to be blog canon. If you have a favorite Deadpool plot, sub-plot, relationship, whatever — let me know and we can work with it.
Tumblr media
TRIGGERS, TAGS, AND WARNINGS:
Deadpool’s movie is rated R — take that to mean he’s going to be rated R here, too. While I won’t write certain things explicitly (ie — his past traumas, non-con, etc) there may be references to things that are uncomfortable. Everything will be tagged in the format of ‘____ mention’. For example, ‘SA mention’ for any sexual abuse themes.
Wade has been sexually, psychologically, and physically abused in his past. He has a lot of insecurities surrounding these events. On top of that, a big part of his past revolves around his cancer diagnosis. Because that's such a major part of his backstory and the pivotal reason he is who he is, I likely won't tag mentions of it. I want to respect people's boundaries regarding this, but given how it's such an integral part of him, I think it's safer to keep distance if it's something that you can't handle.
For me, I ask that you tag mentions of cannibalism. I know it’s a common horror theme, but I’d prefer to avoid it if I can. I have all variations of the tag blacklisted already, even misspellings. If your blog is going to feature themes of it heavily, I likely will just not follow back. Sorry!
Tumblr media
SHIPPING:
If you offer to ship with me I’m probably going to say yes. My personal favorites for Wade are with: Logan, Cable, Vanessa, and Spidey. You will win me over very quickly if you want to explore these relationships further. I find Wade's personal relationships extremely interesting, no matter the medium. Platonic, romantic, antagonistic, whatever. It's all fair game.
That being said: Every relationship can be seen as a separate ‘verse, but will likely be affected by any major blog happenings to keep things fun. There are always exceptions to this, though!
Wade is pansexual and polyamorous. If you’re willing to explore the poly parts of his identity with me, I’d be delighted! However, he’s also more than happy to be in a monogamous or open relationship.
Tumblr media
EVERYTHING ELSE:
If things come up, we can talk about them! I’m planning to take this blog pretty casually. I work full-time and have other hobbies, so, y'know. If you want to add me on discord, feel free to ask.
For length and replies: I tend to overwrite when it comes to literate replies. Please don’t feel like you need to match length. If anything, I’d love to keep things short and sweet here, but every time I tell myself that I fail at it.
(I would love to engage in silly dash shenanigans, though.)

adaptations-polls · 6 months

Welcome!
What is this blog?
This blog will feature polls testing to see what version of a piece of media people generally prefer, with each poll consisting of the original work and at least one adaptation, which may include direct adaptations as well as re-imaginings and other slightly looser adaptations.
For what counts as an independent adaptation, My basic guideline is: anything that basically has its own "continuity" separate from the original/previous version. So, basic adaptations, re-tellings, remakes, perspective swaps by a different creator, etc probably will count; things that are direct spin-offs, (same continuity) reboots, continuations, canonical expanded universe material, etc probably won't. Things do not need to be changed into a different medium to count as an adaptation here. So for example, a film that is remaking another film could still be counted.
For things with lots of different re-adaptations, polls won't be able to be comprehensive, and if there is enough content multiple polls that feature the same original work may be posted. Sometimes (if I don't get a specific request for a certain version) I'm only selectively pulling a few and deliberately holding a few for a further poll. Sometimes I'm also just trying to keep the options from getting too overwhelming by avoiding versions that are basically similar, while sometimes I opt for a larger pool of choices if I think there's a really big range represented by the different versions. Also please keep in mind for things that are not requests I'm pulling all the versions myself and it is not always apparent through quick research whether a specific version is more or less notable, especially when something has TONS of different incarnations and all or most of them have at least some kind of following.
This blog will also occasionally feature character specific polls to see not just what version of a piece of media people prefer overall, but what specific interpretation of various characters are the preferred ones. Similar continuity rules will apply for what counts- so, for instance, this blog will not include variations of one character played by multiple different actors within a single continuity because of recasts, actors playing younger/older versions of a character, etc. An exception to this continuity rule may be made in the case of theatrical productions, to include actors in different major productions of the same show. Characters do not have to be played by an actor to be featured; re-interpretations in non-performed mediums like books, comics, etc, can be included.
To be clear, this is not a tournament. Winners of polls won't be proceeding to go against other winners; its just about polling to see which version of individual properties people generally like best, and give people a place to talk about and reflect on why they do or don't like certain versions of something!
Want to request something?
Send me an ask the original work title, what medium it is in (i.e. book, movie, play, etc), and if there's a specific adaptation you want to make sure makes it into the poll, please make sure you note that as well (you don't have to, but otherwise I'll default to including the most popular adaptations/whichever ones I can find, which, as noted above, might mean for works that some adaptations are left out). Additional adaptations beyond the one(s) specifically requested may also be included, if they exist.
To request a character specific poll, I will need the character's name, what they're from, and what medium the original version is from (book, show, movie, etc). You may request specific additional versions of a character if you want to make sure they make it onto the poll, but you don't have to.
If you want me to tag you when the poll you've requested is up feel free to also let me know that with the request; though right now the queue is relatively short and I usually put requested polls up towards the top as soon as I finish them.
That's it for now!

my thoughts on the talebert files that nobody asked for
ok so... I'm terrified of the effect this will have on the fnaf community. obviously, nothing from this should be used as evidence pieces in theories. we have the official freddy files (along with media such as the encyclopedia) and even the officially released ones have inaccuracies that make them debatable for theorizing. so obviously, nothing from a completely scrapped book should be used for theorizing. and, this is all if it is not just a hoax. at the time of writing this, there's no public comment from Scott, just the alleged emails put in the doc. so keep in mind that this may all be a hoax on top of what I previously mentioned.
for the purpose of this, I'm just dissecting my thoughts on it and what I think it could have meant. I think it's fun to read through and see what the intended canon was at one point and if any of it lines up with the current product or theories. please, do not take any of this as me trying to confirm or debunk a theory.
with that out of the way, ramble under the cut....
the most memorable thing from this has got to be the william speech.
Tumblr media
this william characterization is the epitome of "where is your rage?!"
this version of events comes in contact with a few common fan theories and debates: death order, will/puppet stuff, and willcare
in the order of events that this was written off of, the bite victim would be the first victim (note for this section: the cassidy tucker discussed in this seems to be a version of charlie). because "cassidy", aka the charlie we have in our canon, follows the order of events of william losing a child before henry. while this does lead to william targeting henry's child, it doesn't follow the commonly speculated reasoning of revenge.
"...perhaps that tucker girl. she shines too much of a bright smile, she is a container for love that will soon burst. I will repurpose her."
my interpretation of this is an application of this williams understanding of humanity. he sees the existence of a happy, bright being as otherwise useless if not applied by someone with more adept girls. he needs something to give the gift of life. from here, I could see two different visions for this:
he needs something that is a spirit to complete this goal OR he is looking for something with a good heart to pass on this gift. I feel it is far more plausible he simply needs something that has already passed on, and sees this cassidy/charlie girl as being someone complacent who he thinks would do what he needs from her.
interestingly, this creates a new perspective on the topic of who stuffed the children. if the goal of this speech was followed through, it sounds like the puppet would be the one that literally places the children in the suits, but under some sort of direction from william. the specific usage of "giving the gift of life" obviously calls back to the infamous give gifts, give life minigame.
for the idea of willcare (the general opinion that william cared about his family and specifically the death of the crying child), this william wouldn't align with that theory. the crying child's death doesn't seem the affect his emotional effect, and it doesn't spark the rage that's always been there. instead, it leaves him feeling ridiculed. this speaks to this William's egoism and selfishness. he seemed to feel no love for his child, the thing his death brings him is embarrassment and more questioning over life. when looking at what he's left behind, it's from the perspective of how that plays into life, death, and the rules of science. he doesn't seem to see it as the life of a person, but just life for what it is.
if this characterization was canon, I feel it puts an interesting spin on the idea of putting the crying child back together. under this version, it seems like william is far more invested in solving the puzzle of what morality means over any human connection.
as mentioned in the note about cassidy and charlie, the version of henry in this book is a man named emmet tucker, making the tuckers of this book a prototype of the emilys. emmet is a bit different than our henry and seems to be more forceful. the best descriptor of his character is this letter:
Tumblr media
this relationship between henry and william is different than the fnaf media we have. in most canon examples, henry and william seem to be business partners, where this reads as emmet/henry being a fazbear employee under william who is being greatly taken advantage of for his talents from the beginning. I would take this as something changed in the game canon, this doesn't sound like an "old friend" as described in the fnaf 6 ending.
this also stuck out to me, a list of suspects for the MCI:
Tumblr media
it gives us ages of (almost) all of the listed men as of 1985. we get a few drops of this book's lore here in terms of these major characters. william was apparently diagnosed with schizophrenia because of his sighting of the shadow animatronics. we know these are real, meaning this is a misdiagnosis. this book's phone guy, steve (interesting how his first name made it to the movie), allegedly has a gambling addiction that makes the author question his involvement over the idea he... wanted the insurance payoff from killing these kids so he could gamble it? this book has it OUT for phone guy, let me tell you. the description for mikes suspicion is hidden and he's been cleared as innocent for an unknown reason. he was convicted of manslaughter following the bite, and is confirmed to be the fnaf 1 protag. tucker is listed as the creator of the mediocre melodies who was angry when his line of animatronics wouldn't be used.
throughout this book, steve is an interesting figure. the writer, talebert, seems convinced he is the one responsible for the MCI. perhaps this plays off of the OG theory of phone guy being william?
in what's released, to my understanding as someone who hasn't read the frights books yet, dr talebert is a character throughout the stichwraith plotline. to my understanding, the characterization is very different. notably, talebert is being paid by fazbear entertainment. talebert at multiple points seems to be retroactively changing things as he goes, big or small. he says emmett has anger issues as evidenced by an outburst at afton over the decomition of the MM. in reality, going off the previously posted letter, it moreso seems like his anger resulted from being bossed around by william and not receiving financial compensation. a miscellaneous citation on page 10 of the document shows talebert changing the location of cassidys death from fredbears to freddys, changing the point in time she would have died. there are a lot of interesting quirks to talebert that I can't get into all of them, but I wouldn't consider him a reliable narrator.
there's a lot in these files that I'll probably keep talking about at some point. please, please look at them for yourself. keep in mind this is all scrapped at best, and fabricated at worst. lots of love!

Hello to my several followers! I’m participating in @fandomtrumpshate this year, which means you can bid for the chance to get a custom work of art from me!
I’m offering one full-color painting for one of these three fandoms:
Good Omens
Our Flag Means Death
Sherlock Holmes (ACD or Granada)
Bidding starts March 1st and ends March 5th!
Below is the link to my auction page! (I can’t figure out how to make a word a link on mobile 😎)
The winning bidder will donate the amount of their bid to any charity from a long list of progressive causes, and in return you’ll get a print-ready digital painting from me!
And if my stuff doesn’t float your boat, be sure to browse the many other offerings this year! Might bid on a fanfic myself.
Details of my offering below the cut:
Highest rating: M (Mature)
Length/scope: A digital painting, either color or black and white, not exceeding 6”x9”, and up to 300dpi. $25+ for a full color painting featuring up to two characters against an abstract or minimally suggested background. $50+ for a full-color painting with up to three characters with a fully fleshed-out background.
Especially interested in:
I’m all for any lovey-dovey or sexy or hurt/comfort or sad or funny scenarios you can think of. I love painting faces best of all. I’m an ace at anatomy and likenesses if you need them (went to school for it) but I love bending the rules for fun shapes. I live for golden hour and playing with saturated colors and I have a special interest in funny scenarios or wacky action scenes. I love any and all AU’s, I love painting rumpled birds and smoke and water and if you let me paint a ghost I’ll throw it in for free.
For Good Omens:
I love me some ineffable husbands, whether it’s platonic or romantic or nasty. I adore both the book and the show.
For OFMD:
Stede and Ed are my fave pairing, though every face on this show is super interesting and paintable. Ed is also very very pretty.
For Holmes:
I used to be active on the Watsons_Woes lj, so any “poor Watson” type stuff I’m super into. Bonus: I will know what you’re talking about if you bring up something obscure from canon.
Unwilling to address: No non-con, no pregnancy, no marriage, no young babies, no watersports, no spit-related stuff (like drool) no animal death, no poop stuff, no Omegaverse, no furry-adjacent stuff, no underage stuff, no de-aging stuff, no slashing the actors that play the characters (I will draw the actors though if you want, just no lovey stuff).
Also please no cars, I can do them but I dread it.
For Good Omens:
No T or M rated ineffable bureaucracy please.
For OFMD: No Steddyhands or Blackhands please.
Notes: After you tell me what you’d like, I’ll give you three thumbnails (very rough sketches/ideas) to choose from. When you pick your favorite, I’ll use it to proceed with the final. I prefer to pick my own color scheme, but I’m open to requests and can send you color studies to choose from if you like. The painting will likely take me several months to complete, but when I’m done you’ll receive it in your preferred file type, at a size that is suitable for printing out if you so choose. If you want a specific size, please let me know before I start.
Special Interests: Canonically trans or nonbinary characters, Trans or nonbinary interpretations of canon characters
Minimum Bid: $25
Extra stuff!
If you’ve read this far, you deserve some examples of my work so you know if I’m what you’re after. My portfolio is mostly kids’ book covers and chapter illustrations but you’ll get the idea.
Here’s some examples of the $25+ tier of paintings (no/ minimal background):

We see him calling out Phineas for calling Hermione a mudblood. I'm also curious to know how true what Lily said is. Severus doesn't deny it, nor does he say it's true either.
okay so apparently i am now talking about snape to procrastinate revising for my gcses so please keep it coming chemistry makes my brain hurt!! (send help. or a hitman. im not picky.)
just a warning: this is a long post, sorry :D
Yes, we do see him calling Phineas out for referring to Hermione as 'mudblood'! According to tone and language, it is Snape talking, as Dumbeldore tends to talk in a more fantastical, upbeat and softly condescending way and we have no indication of any other portrait saying anything.
And now Snape stood again in the headmaster’s study as Phineas Nigellus came hurrying into his portrait. “Headmaster! They are camping in the Forest of Dean! The Mudblood--” “Do not use that word!” “--the Granger girl, then, mentioned the place as she opened her bag and I heard her!”
But! It is important to take into consideration the fact that this moment takes place during the time of the books, not during the 70s/Maruaders Era, which was when the incident with Lily takes place.
According to Snape's story, by this point he had actively been working as a spy to dismantle the Death Eaters (DEs) for years now, and in this discussion we are taking this as an objective action not including any interpretations of motivation and reasoning. So if we compare this moment to the 'mudblood' incident, we are comparing pre- and post-redemption arc Snape, which is always an interesting comparison and I could write a whole fucking essay and a half (note to self: write snape essay and call it english lit revision) on that topic, but what I was doing was talking specifically about pre-redemtion arc young!snape and his actions.
Basically, yes he did, and my original post isn't trying to discredit that, because the whole point is that by the time we actually meet Snape he has gone through his redemption arc and is actively working against the DE/Blood Supremacy movement, which shows his growth and development as a character! It shows that, at the very least, he has grown out of mindlessly perpetuating anti-muggle and anti-muggleborn ideology using rhetoric that has been historically blatantly racist (though i blame J*R for that one).
Regarding your second point, I think we have to do a bit of a dive into each character's personality and situation at that point in time to understand what went on in that conversation:
Lily Evans has historically been the person to see the best in Severus at each point in time. She is willing to stand up for both herself and Severus (i.e. against James) but that hasn't stopped her from noticing Severus' growing facination with the Dark Arts and his budding relationships with Blood Supremacists/Death Eaters (Lucius, Mulciber, Avery, and canon!Evan Rosier). Lily is smart and witty, brave and compassionate, and definitely outspoken. She would not shy away from speaking her mind and saying what she sees, especially in front of someone she has known and been best friends with for years, whether they are arguing or not.
Severus Snape, on the other hand, is quiet and reclusive and an introvert (same bro). He only really seems to let himself be himself around Lily. However, he is also not afraid to fight back, and he definitely has no qualms about 'holding his tongue' or not saying what he is thinking, i.e. first meeting James, where his initial reaction was to call Gryffindor the House of the Himbo ['sure, if you'd rather be brawny than brainy']. But his main motivation is to stay with Lily. Whether this is platonic or romantic or obsessive is up to interpretation (personally I think it was obsessive, but it only started to become so after Lily's death, because of grief and the stress of war).
Thinking about this, he would never outright admit to Lily that he is a Blood Supremacist and she is his 'exception to the rule' because he is smart enough to know it would not go down well for him. But he also doesn't want to lie to her and deny it because (a) she wouldn't really believe him and (b) he doesn't really lie unless it is under Dumbledore's instruction or as part of his work as a spy, though feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
Also, Lily Evans wouldn't tell an outright lie about Severus to Severus' face. She is also too smart for that, and she has spent years seeing the best in Severus, and likely still wants to which is why she went to speak with him.
It does a disservice to each character to think they will lie to each other, even at this moment.
I hope this helps you see my thought process here, and how I interpret the character! I'd love to see other people's responses and interpretations, but please don't scream at me.

Helllllooo kipppiee. Sorry for this random anon ask. I’ve been reading your eruhan and erurihan fic. i know you stop following the series. sorry if this is so sudden and i really love the way you write them. i love the characterization. <3
how do you write Erwin’s character? when it comes to his interaction with Levi and hange? is there any tips? thank you!
It's no problem! Asks like this are fun!
Erwin is a bit difficult because he and I have almost opposite personalities. He's distant and I am really not, I overshare at the drop of a hat. Take this as just one interpretation and method, there's many ways to approach characterization. I think someone who relates to Erwin would write him very differently than I would and I think we'd have an interesting experience that would be very different from the way I see him.
The first thing I do when I start to write any character is think about what I want to have happen (Erwin to have romantic feelings) and what I actually see in canon (Erwin probably doesn't have time for romantic feelings because he is focused on his goal of eradicating Titans). You need to be almost brutally honest about canon and not grasp at hints in this case. You can use those hints later, but for the baseline be honest. What would make Erwin change to what I want? People are pretty flexible, things they swore they'd never do, they can end up doing.
Erwin isn't very close to many people. So who is he close to? Why is he close to them? That's when you use the spare hints we've been given. For instance: Levi. We know that he and Levi have a deep mutual trust. However, even Levi acknowledges that he's not privy to everything Erwin is thinking so that trust isn't equal on both sides. That causes distance. So how can we close that distance?
Personally, and this just my interpretation, it would take an extreme change of circumstances to get Erwin to change. A lot of the times when I write Erwin giving in to his feelings, it's usually after he loses his arm. I know in canon he really didn't alter his course, but we did see a side of him that is more vulnerable. I've also used the death of certain characters to prompt him. Realistically in canon I don't think he'd really change his focus much, but fanfiction allows this vulnerability to be used. I've created a scenario in which Titans are gone and Erwin has survived. That is a HUGE change of circumstances. In fact, now Erwin doesn't have a clear cut goal anymore. There's other circumstances to prompt Erwin to soften, be creative!
So great! Erwin has feelings! Wonderful! So...how does he act? Well, by default he's distant, he can be charming, but I think he's not sure how to express softer feelings. I'm currently writing Erwin interacting with his mother, someone he should be warm with, but he's so used to being distant that he relies on her to initiate. This is part of the reason I'm excited to take on the challenge of the Eruri part of Erurihan, they're both distant and both probably need someone else to initiate, so it's a stand off. I haven't figured out how to resolve the stand off, but that will come. However with someone like Hange, it's easier to resolve. Hange is more likely to initiate casual affection and assuming we've laid the groundwork for Erwin having feelings, it's not hard to develop that. Eventually I think Erwin could initiate affection and not just reciprocate, but he needs time to get there.
Also think about how distant and logical people might express love: taking care of chores, paying for things, nursing you while sick, giving gifts, listening quietly while you talk, taking time out for you when you know they're busy, etc. Maybe even writing letters if they have the words but have trouble saying them. All of those fall into things I think Erwin would do, but most wouldn't see them as obvious acts of love. I think someone who knew him and returned his feelings would either understand or grow to understand that this is how he expresses his feelings.
A thing to keep in mind: think about how jarring this would be. You have a friend who you know has constantly schemed, lied, and withheld information from you. You know ultimately that their grand goal was good, but you aren't sure if you trust them fully and you know they don't trust you completely. Maybe despite yourself you find yourself marginally attracted to their mystery, but you never expect them to be fully honest with you. Then suddenly out of the blue, they declare that they love you. Confusing, right? It would be to me. I'd wonder if they knew what love meant, considering that I've never been sure when they're hiding things from me, or if they're ready to sell me up the river for the sake of a cause. That's what we're dealing with. Erwin has sent people out to die for his cause and Levi and Hange are no exception. So I imagine on their end (or anyone whom you choose to write Erwin with) is going to struggle with this.
Wow this is long! I hope it helps a little bit!

Hello!! Could I please request the dorm leaders with a s/o who is the queen of an entire country back in her world? Thank you!!
Dorm Leaders + Queen!MC
This is based on European monarchy, so for those who are unaware, usually the lover of a Queen would have a title of Prince, not King. Besides that, thank you for the request for a very fluffy scenario!
Malleus Draconia
He found it interesting how you understood the concepts of the book he was reading, particularly about managing a nation
He didn't expect your words to come from experience, although he never guessed that you were a queen. He assumed that you were in a similar position to Lilia…
You enjoyed helping your lover during his extra lessons, cuddling up to him as he studies his texts as per Lilia told him to
He was a King in preparation after all, although he must admit that he might have purposefully forgotten some concepts just to get you to teach him
It was then on revealed that back in your world, you were a young Queen ruling your people
He was attentive in listening to your stories about your country, and how much you missed your world
The Prince wondered if you ever regret not being able to continue your duties
"What if you were... the new Queen of the Faes instead?"
Riddle Rosehearts
It wasn't long before you admit to Riddle that you were a queen…
After all, with his different interpretation of a queen, you were quick to correct him
"It is customary for a queen to host an unbirthday party!"
Riddle is in awe that his lover was a queen herself! How fortunate he was!
He goes out of his way to learn the etiquette you did as a queen, even altering slight details in his uniform to match yours
Riddle was attentive in listening to your stories, but it was then he found out that there was more to being a queen than he thought…
Ruling a country surely intrigued him, but the Queen of Hearts' duties were not far off
He secretly asked you things such as the customs of your country
He surprised you with a tea party with an attempt to mimic the customs of your country, even trying to mimic the dress that you described
"A queen like yourself YN, only deserved the best such as a future queen myself~"
Kalim Al-Asim
Compared to Kalim's outburst of energy, you were a little reserved with yourself. It interested anyone as to how the two of you got together
However, the both of you typically find comfort in each other's company
You were quick to open up about your origins, but Kalim never minded you being a queen
With the way you carried yourself, he wasn't surprised that you were nobility, but a queen of an entire country?
With his manners, he couldn't help but be polite to you whenever he saw you… Although you did tell him to take it easy, he couldn't help but write home that he was dating a queen…
Kalim would also try to be formal on your dates, but there was no pressure on him. He does try to recreate dresses from your country for you
"S-Sorry YN, you just look so adorable… I mean, Queen YN!"
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul noticed that you were feeling a little solemn, as you looked at a photograph
He wasn't as quick to take a peak, but he brought your favourite drink along
You weren't one to hide it from him, so you explained that today was the Founder's Day for your country, and how much you missed your country as their queen
He was shocked, unable to form a word. He?? Was dating a queen?
After his short-circuit, he felt guilty that he was keeping you with him in the current moment
Of course, it wasn't your dear Azul's fault. He listened to you as you explained the festivals of your country
You slyly mentioned that you'd happily crown Azul as your prince if you were to ever go back
Your Azul didn't know how to react to the title bestowed on him. How was he going to uphold it? How was he going to explain it to his family?
The teasing cheered you up, but more than anything, Azul began to think about the future between you and him
"You make a wonderful Queen, Angelfish… And I'm just as willing to be your prince."
Idia Shroud
He thought it was a dream honestly… There was suspicion that you both were hiding something from each other, but now his secret about S.T.Y.X pales in comparison to yours
A queen?! Is he in a game? And did he just win the jackpot?!
He knew his parents would be strict with whoever his future partner, but since you were a queen, he had no doubt that he can finally achieve the final chapter of marriage with you!
Of course, he wondered how he could create a country he'd never seen before in VR the moment you said you missed your home country dearly
Clothes and food were easy to imitate, and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't addicted to some of your country's treats
You found it adorable at how hard he was trying. But it was not long before Idia had completed the project!
You'd never imagine to see your country in VR, but there you were. Out of you joy, you gave your Idia a kiss
"It- It was nothing YN! I… I did good right?"
Leona Kingscholar
You didn't keep your secret for long… Leona was quick to mention that he was a prince, which you in turn said that you were a queen
It didn't really get in the way, but you were pretty open when talking to Leona about officials you'd hate, or trying to get away with things
Even though he vowed to never fall for royalty, you were his exception. You were someone who never pressured him, and besides that, from hearing you, he knew you were a great leader
He's tempted to carry you home and present you to his brother with the words of 'Hey, I can marry this person right?'
Of course he brings you back to his hometown! He's excited to go home for once, to show you the ways of his people
He doesn't know what to say when you miss your hometown. However, the best he could give you is a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on
"Hey Prin- ah, I should call you Queen right? Since you decided to call me Prince…"
Vil Schoenheit
Everything Vil did was to his standards, and he exuded the same energy a confident queen would in the theoretical sense
Finding you living as simply as you did in NRC intrigued him, and it wasn't as if it were an odd activity…
He doesn't know how to describe it to the point it drove him ever so curious
You were dignified, yet casual. So well-informed, yet unapproachable…
He wasn't one to listen in, but he might have Rook snoop around just a little. The moment he found out…
There was nothing standing in his way, but he had much to learn from a proper Queen like you
He trails you, wanting to be in your company. Of course, it was not long before his curiosity bloomed to affection
It was a casual relationship, both supporting each other, relying on each other for comfort than any further pursuit of affection
Does he dress you and himself up to pretend in royal scenarios? Yes, only for your eyes
"It's the first time I'm referred to as a Prince… but it's expected! I'm a Queen's lover, yours to be exact."

☆Stellium through the houses☆
please credit my instagram page with the same name if you repost outside of tumblr!!
I got a lot of stellium related messages, so here it is. I have a 6 planets 1st house stellium, so I have a lot to say.
☆ Stelliums are a very controversial topic, as each astrologer has their own way of interpreting it. However, essentially a stellium is a focus on a certain sign or house in a chart. Some astrologers believe that 3 or more planets makes a stellium, whilst some believe 4 or more planets. I tend to go with the 3 or more planets stellium interpretation. However, I personally do not interpret asteroids or angles (asc,dc,mc,ic) as being part of a stellium and mostly focus on planets, but it really does depend on the dynamic of each chart.
☆ A stellium is much stronger if it happens between personal planets (sun-mars) or if it's a combination of personal planets and generational planets (saturn-pluto) and if the planets are in strong conjunctions. The closer to each other and the more planets, the more focused and rare the chart is.
☆ Any planet or sign that is part of this stellium will be a significant one in this person's journey. So if someone has a 2nd house stellium involving the sun, moon and mercury - then houses in which they have leo, cancer and gemini/virgo will have a focus for them as well.
☆ If not cared for enough, a stellium can turn into an obsession of a person on that particular sign's energy or house energy. That is why, it's important to find ways in which you balance the energy of your stellium and this usually works through implementing more of the opposite house's and sign's energy into your life.
Each house ⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇
☆ 1st house stellium
A first house stellium means that there is a focus on self expression and developing this person's identity, as well as outwardly expressing their personality. These people might have strong personalities and really take pride in it, especially if the sun is involved. I find that 1st house stellium people have multiple layers to their personality. This is not to say that they are two faced, but when it comes to their identity, there is never a moment when you get bored of getting to know them as there are endless new things you can find out about them. First house stelliums embody the energy of all the planets that are found in there. The more planets, the more blend out the energy is and it might be harder to pinpoint exactly the ways in which a certain planet is coming off as. These people might have the ability to adapt to the environment they are in and portray a certain personality depending on the situation, while still appearing as their ascendant. The ascendant is the one that dictates the flavors of those energies in the house. The downside of having a first house stellium is that they can be rather individualistic to the point where they do focus way too much on themselves and live in a bubble. Also, there might be a lack of cooperation and they might find it difficult to work in a team or ask for help (not really if you have 7th house planets as well). It's always a great idea to balance with the opposite house, so spending time with your loved ones or investing in your romantic relationships or engaging in teamwork activities will help. In terms of appearance, these people are rather going to turn heads with their aura and have a sort of intriguing vibe to them. These people are straightforward and really shine whenever they are in their confidence and have so much of themselves to share with the world, they are meant to put it all out there and be appreciated for it.
☆ 2nd house stellium
Having a second house stellium means that there is a focus on the material world and possessions and depending on the sign the planets are in, you can tell a lot about what possessions actually mean for this person - this can mean that they either value money or they value spirituality and life experiences over the material. However it may be, these people have a lot of inner strength. Whenever they feel down, they do get back up and they always fight to make it on their own. There might be an issue here with wanting to keep things for themselves too much or with putting too much pressure on themselves to the point where it affects their self worth and they get insecure. They need to be careful to not rely too much on the idea that there is just one clear path for them to go on and that if they do not reach a certain status, things won't work out for them. Career is also quite important for these people, but more as a way to reach security, they are always prioritizing comfort and are quite consistent with their decisions. They might have strong values and really continuously work on their self worth. For these people, it's important to balance the energy with the 8th house, so engaging in things that have to do with shared experiences, shared finances, opening up, being vulnerable and building deep connections where they can let their guard down and relax. Also, there might be a tendency to be a bit stuck in their comfort zone and fear change, so leaning towards the 8th house and finding ways in which they can embrace change and dive deeper into the darker side of things will be really beneficial. They might own a lot of things that represent their personality - even if this means a car or a collection of stickers with spiritual meaning, they have few things that they own that have sentimental value. They are very practical and calculated people and their consistency is usually what gets them to be successful eventually and be appreciated for their integrity.
☆ 3rd house stellium
A third house stellium shows that there is an emphasis on communication or things of the mind for this person. As the 3rd house also rules the years when we are in school or our hometown, it's likely that these people either got a lot of attention in school or had some traumatic experience when they were younger, depending on the planets or signs involved. However, the purpose of a 3rd house stellium is to use their voice in order to express the things that maybe were once repressed or that they feel a deep need to talk about. These people have a lot to say and they have powerful opinions, without necessarily judging others. They can, however, get in heated arguments and sometimes get stuck into their ideas or their thoughts. 3rd house stellium people have a great eye for details and a way with words - they might be good at writing or singing or anything that involves communication, even small talk. They need to be careful not to be too keen on the details that they forget the bigger picture and should balance their 3rd house energy with the 9th house - so engage in more spiritual activities or find metaphor in their daily life and not always seek to analyze and understand the things around them, including emotions. These people can be prone to mental health issues and need to snap out of this by simply taking action. Their country of origin or their immediate and familiar surroundings will likely be an area where they will thrive and they might become well known in a very specific field or niche that they are so good at cause they are great at assimilating information and research. One of their purposes is to use their unique voice and point of view in order to speak up for those that are not able to do it themselves and so make them feel seen and understood, while they also share their potential with the world and often do that through their amazing storytelling gifts - they could even write a book or have a start-up!
☆ 4th house stellium
A fourth house stellium means that there is an emphasis on feeling secure in this life. These people might have went through an impactful childhood - either in a good way or a negative way and they usually base their decisions on the things they learned in the past. They might have a numerous family or some trouble in this area, however there is a focus on family for them. Their motivation comes from feeling safe and knowing that those around them are well. Also, they are likely to learn a lot from building a family on their own, weather this means getting married or simply owning a pet. These people are warm and caring and have this innate mother instinct that shines through. They are also quite intuitive and empathetic, however this is mostly a private area for them which they keep to themselves. The place they live in can influence their mood so much. The trouble here comes when they focus too much on being in a safe and comfortable environment or being surrounded by people they care about that they do not prioritize their growth or they tend to be a bit codependent. They need to balance the energy with the 10th house, so focus on their career and their future goals and use these really beautiful qualities they inherited from their family as an asset into putting themselves out there. Depending on the planets or sign they have here, they might not have moved a lot and when they do, it likely feels like they are out of their comfort zone, they need to build a space that encourages their growth and that's rather luxurious even. They might own a beautiful home later on in life and build their own kind of world there. These people are likely here to break family patterns that were felt for lots of generations before them and share their stories with the world or use the wisdom they gain to inspire and heal others in very profound ways.
☆ 5th house stellium
A fifth house stellium shows a person that is naturally talented or gifted. This can mean that they were basically born with a talent for drawing, singing, being really good at multiple things that enhances their personality and puts them in the spotlight. They came here to showcase these talents and they need to be careful to not to take them for granted and instead use them as a way to find meaning and pleasure in life. They can sometimes lean too much onto the idea of finding pleasure and adopt this careless attitude that focuses on prioritizing themselves before their friends - which can be both good or bad depending on the situation. These people are likely naturally good with children or they are meant to have children of their own and so keep their talents alive, they are also likely to have artists in their family or people that have, again, some really natural skill. Creativity might shine through for these people, depending on the sign and they can also be quite lucky romance wise or be natural flirts. They should be careful not to get too emerged or too obsessed with their pursuits that they forget about the world, so balancing this energy with the 11th house - with being with friends, finding a community that has the same interests as them or involving themselves in fighting for a bigger cause through their skills would help, even building an online persona. If more difficult planets are involved in this stellium, they might have difficulty with their self worth or went through some experience which made them lack the confidence they need to show their talents. Once they find that fire inside, these people are the bright stars that have a lot of admirers of their work and can be amazing leaders if they follow their passion and do not let fear lead the way, as well as really good teachers that people talk about for generations to come.
☆ 6th house stellium
A six house stellium shows someone whose focus in this lifetime is in perfecting their daily tasks in such a way that they match their future goals and get them closer to their aim. These people are action oriented perfectionists, this is why sometimes their wish to do everything in a perfect manner can stand in their way of their action-taking. It's great for these people to find balance in their life by investing in their opposing house, so engaging in spirituality, journaling, going to therapy in order to understand their subconscious mind, invest in their art, write or focus on healing their mind before their body from time to time. A six house stellium is going to be concerned with their body - the way they show up into the world, but also the way they care for their body, the things they eat, how much exercise they make, their skincare routine and how present they are with these tasks. They can sometimes get so stuck into daily things that they forget the bigger picture and they are prone to being workaholics or to burnout. It's important to take things as they come and reduce the expectations they have on themselves. Another trait of a 6th house stellium is their ability to be of service to others - depending on the sign they have in this house, they know how to be of help and really hate feeling useless, they are great at giving advice and observing the details. They are most likely to see something you are not seeing and they have a sharp mind and critical thinking. Also, having coworkers that match their values is a very important trait to them and if they cannot find that, they'd rather work alone or open their own business. As long as they do not overly engage with their daily routine and know that their discipline does not define them, that's when they can achieve the most perfectly imperfect things in life by showcasing their daily tasks that got them to the success they achieved.
☆ 7th house stellium
Having a seventh house stellium shows a lot of emphasis on relationships, socializing and discovering oneself through interactions to the other. These people are likely social, they love discovering and getting to know others and they feed on conversation. They are rational, but also extremely sensitive and can feel very deeply for those that they love, sometimes even in a psychic way. As there is a focus on the other, the problem here arrives when these people overidentify with their partner, their best friend, their family - they rely their whole being on them and they forget about their own needs and wants, they ask everyone about what they should do and they do not make decisions that are in tune with their own authenticity, they might be people pleasers during their darkest times and completely get lost in making people like them. This is why, they need to get themselves out of their comfort zone once in a while and focus on first house themes - take decisions on impulse and trust their intuition, speak up on what is bothering them and even spend time alone to self reflect or invest in some personal activity. This will help them find balance and the harmony that they are always looking for in relationships. These people could even become known for their successful love story. Their potential won't be the same without someone being there to watch them as well, so they are the perfect example of harmonized work, relationships and personal life in time, great multitaskers and storytellers too! Just need to tap into their shadow side, not be afraid to ask around and explore what they are capable of. They came into this life in order to search for people that match their values and to learn to set boundaries and say no to those that don't, they came here to inspire others and lead them with their soft skills, they came here to make others feel loved and in turn, get to know their own potential, which is huge.
☆ 8th house stellium
Having an eight house stellium shows that this person's emphasis is on things that are rather taboo, dark or private. This person is likely to be someone that does not enjoy being in the spotlight (especially if they have personal planets here), but they are amazing when it comes to behind the scenes. What this means is that these people have the ability to read and understand others in a really deep way, so much so that they do not need things explained in words, as they just feel the vibe. This is why, they would be really great in jobs that require them to use their intuition or jobs that require them to do the secret, insider type of behind-the-scenes work, no matter the industry they work in. However, they would do perfect psychologists, psychics or even undercover workers of some sort. These people are passionate and can dive really deep into the subject they are interested in an completely get immersed into that. The problem here is that stellium energy is very obsessive and 8th house energy is the same, so putting these together can get a person to become obsessed with a subject, a situation, another person even to the point where they might stalk this area or to the point where they do not care for their basic needs, such as food, just to spend time observing and investigating this subject. Another challenge for an 8th house stellium is the fact that they are able to feel so much what others are feeling makes them really sensitive and can get easily hurt if they do not separate the bad things that happen into the world from them. It's important for them to balance this energy with the 2nd house energy, so to spend time focusing on the material, on making sure they spend time showcasing their skills through work, but also searching for stability and going away from change and chaos from time to time. These people can also have a sexual energy to them and are likely always in an ongoing personal transformation, even due to the things they had to go through in the past. These people are meant to help others heal, as they are open to the dark like no one else and they have the potential to discover hidden truths, while also discovering themselves.
☆ 9th house stellium
Having a 9th house stellium means that there is a focus on wisdom, beliefs and constantly looking for meaning. These people hold a lot of inner wisdom that just seems to come out of nowhere, as if they were born with it. They are the ones that are not afraid to make mistakes and that take every experience as one to be learned from. You see these people chasing their impulses and the fire within. It's likely that they will move a lot in this lifetime or travel - these are things that help them see the world differently and fuels their wisdom. They might have a culturally diverse background or they might be interested in foreign cultures or foreign languages. If this is not them, then they are the readers, the mind travelers, the spiritualists or religious people that search for eternal questions of the mind. They usually find themselves asking how the world was created and what's wrong or what is right, what's moral and what's not and they have really well thought beliefs. The problem with a 9th house stellium comes when they need to go a bit deeper than life philosophies, when they need to not base all their decision on experience, but rather on facts or on emotions. These people might feel as if darker things in life make them want to run away, in their endless search for spirit, they might shy away from anything that involves emotion or face to face communication, as they do not like getting caught by and being stuck in details. This is why, an advice for them is to invest more time in the 3rd house - to try to listen to what people actually have to say and not what they believe in, to try to see a person besides their spiritual beliefs and music taste - but instead to look at their life struggles and their emotions. What's challenging for a 9th house stellium is to have confrontational conversations that make them feel uncomfortable. As a paradox, the 9th house is all about getting out of their comfort zone, but for them getting out of their comfort zone is staying in their immediate comfort and not trying to escape, they might be surprised how good it feels. The purpose of these people is to go forward with ideas and belief systems that have been studied and felt for generations and to ask the right questions at the right time, so much so that they change people's lives with their positive way of living.
☆ 10th house stellium
A 10th house stellium person is likely going to have an amazing work ethic and find pleasure through investing time in their career. These people are likely to achieve great success in their career and even be recognized as a public persona. The place where they most shine is the moment when they spend their time being productive, organized and working on their goals. The sign can influence the energy a lot, so you don't have to be a super organized person if you have this placement, but you likely have your own personalized way of organization that works for you. They are motivated and sometimes overly critical of themselves, as they always want to reach and do more than they can even take on honestly. This is why they push themselves beyond their limit every time and it's important to stop and asses their process and praise themselves before they move on, they often don't know how much they have done. A good way to do this is for them to focus on the opposite house energy, which is their 4th house - take time to rest, spend time with family, be lazy and allow people around them to slow them down. It's all right to be behind with schedule and it's all right to be human and not feel like a robot 24/7. The problem can come when they have some personal issue that interferes with their daily work. Usually, if they find themselves being more productive than usual, it's a sign that there is something in their personal life that they are trying to avoid by diving deep into their most safe space - work. These people could sometimes get sick because of overworking, so please listen to your body and slow down if you do not feel very good. Overall, they are the ones that help everyone else organize, but the ones that can also do the small tasks - so they would be amazing managers or most likely find success in any area they are going for, as they actually do the work, put in the effort and get so much pay off in time.
☆ 11th house stellium
An eleventh house stellium person will have their focus on matters of the future, groups of people and environments. These people are the ones that are great when it comes to coming up with innovative ideas in order to revolutionize a generation. In today's world, an 11th house stellium can be seen either vouching for a good cause at a protest or creating their own non-governmental organization or being an internet star. People that have more planets in this house are likely naturally good at technology or at least the internet or they are very skilled when it comes to some unique niche interest of their and they often lead people onto the right direction with their minds. These people are selfless and unfortunately can sometimes care too much about their environment and not enough about their own needs, so it's important for them to balance this energy with the 5th house energy and try engage into creative, artistic outlets or simply just do any activity such as going out or even watching movies just for their own pleasure - without needing to share it with anyone and without needing to make a purpose or a cause out of it. However, they do not necessarily have to be internet stars to be seen, they could even go the other route of being against social media and engaging in a very hippie, healthy way of living or simply choose a traditional route when everyone goes for the modern - anything that makes them stand out. They can also feel misunderstood sometimes because of this and alone, but finding the right community that shares the same interests as them or just the right small group of friends with the same values will do wonders. These people can also be rather controversial, as they are most likely the first ones to start a trend, a movement or be bold enough to take a chance to think and express themselves differently compared to the environment they grew up in.
☆ 12th house stellium
A 12th house stellium has their focus on the outer reality, but not necessarily a material one. These people are extremely selfless and would give a lot just to simply help someone. As the 12th house can also represent karma, these people might have had some lessons in their early life and even later on that felt karmic - it made them feel as if they did not do anything to deserve such experience and since they have been there, they have such a deep ability to be compassionate and understand where everyone is coming from. However, their past experiences made them feel small and helpless and this is the reason why they believe that making themselves small in the first place and being there for others more than their own is going to bring them good karma in return (this belief is at a subconscious level). When in reality, their ultimate purpose in this lifetime is to find themselves. Unless they stop giving their all to everyone in hopes to get something in return and actually take the matter in their own hands and fight for themselves, they will likely feel lost. These people have such artistic and intuitive souls, they absorb the energy around them and are very strong as they can endure things for long, but the real challenge is to go onto the journey of discovering themselves and find out how amazingly it feels to put yourself first and feel happy through balancing with the opposite 6th house and focus on the present moment, learn to prioritize their needs and focus on moving their body and taking the days step by step. These people came here to show us a lesson of how much you can heal the world by healing yourself - just do that and let the magic unfold.

A personal interpretation of the Axolotl poem (UPDATED)
WARNING: This post is the updated version of the same post I wrote in 2019. Since I deleted the old blog, I did not want to lose my work (it’s the first analysis I ever wrote!), so here it is. I hope you will keep enjoying it even thought I’m not THAT deep into Gravity Falls anymore.
Also, as said in the previous version of this post, this is a personal interpretation, so feel free to disagree/agree and, if you want, you can also explain why and we can all have a nice chat.
___________________________
If you watched Gravity Falls, you probably know about this poem too. If not, please notice this poem appeared on “Dipper and Mabel and the Curse of the Time Pirates' Treasure!: Select Your Own Choose-Venture”. The book isn’t canonical nor related to the original Gravity Falls series, however Alex Hirsch himself said it contains “a enormous 'canon' secret”.
Aaand the canon secret is probably this poem the Axolotl himself said, when Dipper asked him what does he know about Bill Cipher:

From the first two lines, we can notice this poem is clearly about Bill: Equilateral Triangle, Tradesman of the middle class, watching from something that has his same image: yep, it’s Bill.
Now it comes one of the most important lines: “saw his own Dimension burn”.
I believe there’s a reason behind the choice of this specific verb. Alex Hirsch could have used hundreds of different verbs, to make us realize us that Bill himself burned his own Dimension. Instead, he used “saw”.
Of course, a lot of people in the fandom thought the same: Bill saw his Dimension burn, therefore he did not have an active role in its destruction, but a passive one. That means there was another reason we do not know, that caused his Dimension’s death and all he could do was looking at the destruction.
It is a good interpretation, I admit it. This idea can lead to a lot of interesting theories and stories and I love to see what every single person can do with that.
But there is something that bothers me. And that something is a line Bill said during Weirdmageddon.
When he was in the Penthouse suite with Ford, he started talking about his own Dimension. The famous “Flat minds in a flat world with flat dreams” line. But what did he say after that?
“I liberated my Dimension, Stanford, and I am here to liberate yours.”
Uhm. This is quite strange. If burning his Dimension was an accident and he did not want to do it, why did he talk about that as a “liberation”? Was he lying?
I don’t think so. Just look at the episode: when Bill starts talking about his home Dimension, this is the only moment in the entire show in which Bill is completely, 100% serious.
Tumblr media
Just look at this expression. Does he look like someone who wants to put on a show? Someone who is lying? No, this is a serious face. This is the only time Bill is completely serious, without maniacal laughters and crazy ideas. He is talking about something that is very important for him. There is a personal, emotional involvement and I highly doubt he was even thinking about lying.
So, if Bill wasn’t responsible for his Dimension’s destruction, why does he talk about it as a liberation?
In my opinion, Bill burned his Dimension. The poem’s line “saw his own Dimension burn” is not a way to prove his innocence, but an admission of guilt: Bill saw his Dimension burn and did nothing to stop it. He just looked at it, no regrets. He saw it and considered it a favour: he was liberating his world from its own awfulness.
But wait: if Bill feels no remorse, how can the following line (and probably the most important line in the whole poem) be explained?
“Misses home and can’t return”
He probably liked his place, his family or his world. He must feel remorse, otherwise why would he miss home?
Tumblr media
This is what Alex Hirsch said on New York Comic-Con in 2015. So I think we can rule out that Bill liked his family. And, considering how he talked about his place (”flat mind in a flat world with flat dreams” he didn’t like his place either.
So how can Bill dislike his Dimension so much, but miss it at the same time?
In the English language (and probably every other language), the word “home” does not represent just a place. It can represent your family, too. But it can also represent an abstract concept. When people say that, in some place, they feel like home, they talk about a feeling. Something inesplicable, that is connected to the safe space we spent our childhood. A feeling that makes us feel safe and sound, that reminds us of a better moment in our life.
This is the ‘home’ Bill misses. This is the real “home” the poem talks about, the place where Bill can’t return. Not because it burned down, but because it is a feeling he lost forever. He may try to recreate it, with his friends and by finding “a new universe to call my own”, as he said during Weirdmageddon. But this feeling is deeply related to the joy of childhood, to his own childhood, a joy that is lost forever to him.
Why? Because he grew up. He became old. The same that happens to all of us: when we become older, we always think of our childhood as a magical, perfect moment in time lost forever. The same happened to Bill: he lost that magical moment, things worsened with his family and the perfect happiness disappeared.
“Says he’s happy, he’s a liar”
In a way, this has a lot in common with Stan’s story (another point to the Same Coin Theory): Stan’s childhood was all adventures and fun, then he became older, things got worse with his family (especially with Ford) and that magical happiness was lost.
But while Stan managed to still be a good person, Bill chose a different path. He became crazy and insane, he probably destroyed lots of worlds and did a lot of awful things. And yet, the Axolotl offered Bill a way to “shirk the blame”, to avoid dealing with what he did.
Now we can ask ourselves a trillion questions about why, if it is part of a bigger plan, why giving Bill a second chance with a new form and not just burning him down, like he did with his Dimension.
In my personal opinion, the answer lies within the Axolotl itself. Because the Axolotl is not a God that  decides what is good and what is evil and punishes you if you are bad. He is above the concept of good and evil. This is why he prefers to offer Bill a way to escape his punishment and redeem himself, by giving him a different form, in a different time.
So the Axolotl is not like a cosmic judge, but more of a “escape from prison” card. Something that is above judges and rules, in a place where there is no time or space, detached from the morals mortals creatures have. But that is another story.

The Six Realms
Okay, so I was pretty close to giving up on writing analyses but I'm back LMFAO plus I see we're close to 100 followers and I just want to thank you guys for being so very supportive <3
Alright, I'm not sure if anyone's ever written about this, but if an analysis like this exists, please do let me know because I'm kind of curious as to what other people think about this, too!
Remember that time Fukuchi spoke about bringing "about the five signs of an angel's death"?
Tumblr media
I read a little bit more about it, and as a minor content warning: this analysis will focus on a few religious aspects (Buddhism + Hinduism). So if I get any of the facts wrong, firstly: I do not mean any disrespect to either religion, and secondly: please do correct me if I interpret anything in the wrong way.
Spoilers for BSD chapter 90 onwards + BEAST!AU under the cut!
So I'll start by talking about the Decay of Angels. As we all know, the members include Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Nikolai Gogol, Sigma, and Bram Stoker, and their leader, Fukuchi Ochi. After Fyodor's arrest, the Decay of Angels came into light with Nikolai murdering four government officials in a week. These murders symbolise the Buddhist cycle of existence, or otherwise known as samsara: the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
"We are the Decay of Angels—hiding here as terrorists, a 'murder association', five people who will announce the demise of the celestial world."
Nikolai Gogol, chapter 57
Samsara is described to be a concept beyond human understanding. According to Hinduism, samsara is the physical world where every being has its soul trapped into a physical vessel. The Hindus believe that everything has a soul, and due to a soul's attachment to desire, it is forced into a deathless cycle of being born, dying, and reincarnating into a different body. In Buddhism, the ultimate way to break free from this cycle is by obtaining nirvana.
Nirvana is a Sanskrit word for the goal of the Buddhist path: enlightenment or awakening. In Pali, the language of some of the earliest Buddhist texts, the word is nibbana; in both languages it means "extinction" (like a lamp or flame) or "cessation." It refers to the extinction of greed, ill will, and delusion in the mind, the three poisons that perpetuate suffering. Nirvana is what the Buddha achieved on the night of his enlightenment: he became completely free from the three poisons. Everything he taught for the rest of his life was aimed at helping others to arrive at that same freedom.
- TRICYCLE'S definition of nirvana
As Fukuchi mentions in the panel above, there are six different realms of existence. These realms represent every possible state of existence, but one cannot live in a specific realm forever. Depending on whether or not one's past actions were morally good or bad, an individual is born into one of these realms. Basically, the controlling factor of which realm a person is born into is dependent on their respective karma. The realms are separated into two categories: the hellish ones and the heavenly ones.
The Deva Realm: where beings are rewarded for the good deeds they have done. This realm is void of anything unpleasant. It is basically paradise— empty of unfulfilled desires, any form of suffering, and fears of every kind. Religious individuals, however, do not seek to be born into this realm since its attitude is more or less carefree.
The Asura Realm: where demigods are admitted. Asuras are driven by greed and envy, and may come in conflict with human beings since they are quite similar. They are powerful beings, but quarrel with each other quite a bit, making this realm quite undesirable to be reborn into.
The Animal Realm: where beings are given the form of an animal (you probably guessed that lol). Individuals here don't actually have good karma to take pride in, but rather, they are born into this realm to work off their bad karma (by being slaughtered, hunted, or forced to work, etc). Being born into this realm forces one to atone for their past sins by living out their life as an animal.
The Hell Realm: where one is punished for their evil actions. The most merciless of realms, where one pays for their transgressions through pure suffering, methods of which include: dismemberment, starvation, and psychological/physical torture. However, once a person's term is fulfilled in this realm, they are presumably promised to be reborn into a higher state.
The Preta Realm: similar to the hell realm, in which beings pay for their past sins (specifically: greed and stinginess) by having to survive through hunger and thirst. This realm is also known as the 'ghost realm,' because some pretas are psychologically tortured by being forced to live in places their past selves have lived in. They are invisible to human beings living at that time, which pushes them to face the depths of despair and loneliness. Your typical horror movie, really.
The Human Realm: the only realm where one's actions determine their future. The status (social ranking, physical wellbeing, and so on) of a human being in this realm is determined by their past actions, but due to the fact that a person has their own conscience to differentiate good morals from bad, the actions they commit in this realm have the power to determine which realm they are sent to next.
Okay, so now that I've got that out of the way, let's shift our focus to the Book. Very little is known about the Book, but the basic fundamentals of how it works is that whatever is written in the book will come into existence only if its contents follow the rules of karma. In addition to that, only a few sentences can be written into a single page of the Book, and it must follow the current narrative of the story.
If I'm not wrong, the first time the Book was mentioned was by Fitzgerald, who wanted it to resurrect his deceased daughter in hopes of restoring his wife's mental health. The next time the Book is brought up is when Fyodor's intentions to possess it are divulged; his goal was to decimate the global population of ability-users. And now, the current arc has the Book as its central focus, with a single page in Fukuchi's possession.
[ BEAST!AU spoilers ]
The Book acts as the central point of multiverses, with each character's lives differing from universe to universe.
Dazai committing suicide in this alternate universe stands in sharp contrast with how he decided to start up a new life in the main universe.
Oda staying alive to act as a mentor to Akutagawa in the ADA differs from how Oda uses his death to prompt Dazai to "be on the side that saves people."
And of course, the way Atsushi and Akutagawa have their positions switched in the two universes depicts how different their lives would be if they were given the chance to be mentored by different people— these are just a few examples of how the Book houses an endless amount of possibilities.
[ end of BEAST!AU spoilers ]
Hypothetically speaking, this kind of reminds me of the differing realms I mentioned before, where suffering is promised in some realms, and better things are granted in the rest, depending on one's karma, or the deeds they've done in their past lives. In this scenario, perhaps one's past life can be understood as one's current life in a different universe. That's just a personal opinion though. Take it as you will.
side note: Keep in mind that the person who is more or less impervious to the Book's effect is Dazai, with his nullification ability. I wouldn't want to propose any theories in this aspect (I don't believe I'm fully fact-checked ;_;), but I could use Dazai as a raw example of how your choices affect your future. If Dazai had decided to stay in the Port Mafia after Oda's death, or if he even decided to go through with his suicidal fixations, life would've been different for him in the root universe (obviously, ryley) I mean, you could basically understand that from how he ended up in the BEAST au, but imagine if he really did slip up in his decision-making in any of the universes.
Many analysts have proposed that he went MIA (early in his life) from the main universe for a while to figure out how the BEAST universe worked, whilst having the Book to his advantage. Perhaps his actions were guided? I'm not saying he's all-knowing, but he's sure as hell smart. I'm not sure if Kafka was trying to highlight the concept of karma when it comes to Dazai, but if he is, then I suppose you could say that Dazai is pretty much unaffected by the rules of karma, existing as the centerpiece of all the multiverses. No Longer Human is the namesake of his ability, but the book talks about disqualification from societal norms and generally, the world. I was talking about it with a friend, and they reminded me that Yozo (the main protagonist) was pretty strong in his views against society. Like he didn't speak out of total defeat, he spoke out of defense. If there was anything Dazai actually lost to, it was his guilt— "Living itself is a source of sin."
Then again, that's my personal interpretation since everyone has their unique perspective of his writings. In terms of the actual adaptation, you could translate the word 'disqualification' to 'insusceptibilty' when if it came to the Book's effects on Dazai? This side note is becoming really long lmao anyways I'll link a few theories which afflicted me with brainrot down below.
Tumblr media
Another thing before I wrap up, the name 'Decay of Angels' stemmed from Yukio Mishima's book entitled 'The Decay of An Angel.' This is the final novel to the author's tetralogy: 'The Sea of Fertility.' The main protagonist, Honda, meets a person he believes to be a reincarnation of his friend, Kiyoaki, who takes the form of a young teenage boy named Tōru. The last novel of this series enhances Mishima's dominant themes of the series as a whole:
the decay of courtly tradition in Japan
the essence and value of Buddhist philosophy and aesthetics
Mishima’s apocalyptic vision of the modern era
Again, this could be referred to what Fukuchi goes on to say:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some people view the concept of samsara optimistically, justifying it by saying that perhaps each individual is given a second (third, fourth, fifth, who knows) chance to refine their actions in order to be birthed into a better realm, with their karma being the independent variable.
On the other hand, other people, specifically the Hindus, view the cycle of existence as some sort of plague. To them, the flow of life and being forced to endure the suffering of mere existence in any form was somewhat frowned down upon. Some Hindus viewed samsara as a trap. Besides, having one's soul being limited to a physical body for the rest of eternity was not very appealing, especially since where they ended up at depended on the karmic value their past actions surmounted.
Even so, particular types of Buddhists don't seek nirvana, but instead, like the Hindus, they make an effort to be good people of society, building up their good deeds to increase the likelihood of being reborn into one of the better realms.
As mentioned before, the Deva Realm was the home of angels, the most carefree, gratified beings to exist. Fukuchi describes these angels as the people who don't get their hands dirty, the people who act as the puppeteers of society: politicians.
In terms of parallels, angels were the most fortunate and powerful, but they didn't have anyone ruling over them. A lack of supervision would lead to the abuse of power, which is what I believe Fukuchi was referring to. Deeming himself the Decay of Angels, he sought to prove himself as the 'sign of death that falls on the nation's greed.'
A few fun facts (okay, not really) about Yukio Mishima: he committed seppuku (ritual suicide by disembowelment) on the day he held a speech to voice out his unpopular political beliefs to the public. Mishima deeply treasured traditions and opposed the modern mindset the nation was advancing forward to adapt eventually. In his last book, The Decay of an Angel, he spoke about the five signs which complete the death of an angel:
Here are the five greater signs: the once-immaculate robes are soiled, the flowers in the flowery crown fade and fall, sweat pours from the armpits, a fetid stench envelops the body, the angel is no longer happy in its proper place.
The Decay of an Angel, p.53
The reviews about this series I've read so far describe Mishima's works to be quite complex; his writings demanded a lot of time to deconstruct and understand. They were highly symbolic, and he was pretty obsessed with death and the 'spiritual barrenness of the modern world.' I think you could attach a few strings from here to the mindsets of the DOA members. Of course, this parallel is completely abstract, but I'll go on rambling anyway:
He should have armed them with the foreknowledge that would keep them from flinging themselves after their destinies, take away their wings, keep them from soaring, make them march in step with the crowd. The world does not approve of flying. Wings are dangerous weapons. They invite self-destruction before they can be used. If he had brought Isao to terms with the fools, then he could have pretended that he knew nothing of wings.
The Decay of an Angel, p.113
Tumblr media
I suppose you could resonate Nikolai with that excerpt. As much as Fukuchi takes the lead in this whole murder association, I'd like to believe that each member of the DOA plays an equally interesting part in whatever movement they're trying to execute. Fyodor feels it is his god-sent purpose to cleanse the world of its sins, his motto being, "Let the hand of God guide you." Sigma doesn't know where he belongs, since his origination comes from a page in the Book, and is fueled by the desperation to find a reason to live. Bram holds one of the most powerful abilities which is counted to be one of the "Top Ten Calamities to Destroy the World."
What I mean to say is that the DOA members are incredibly powerful, and they're not your ordinary antagonists (or I'm just biased). It's not just overthrowing authorities, mass genocide, and world domination— you could say that each individual is trying to utilize their purposes to their fullest expenditures, and the way they're trying to assert their plan into action is a little more passive-aggressive (framing the Agency, having a convo with a suicidal dude in jail, etc). They're the gray area between evil and good. As they framed the good guys for their own crimes, they're trying to conquer the bad guys for exploiting the innocent as they please.
This post would definitely age well if all hell breaks loose in the current arc (as if it didn't) and Kafka doesn't give us a happy ending.
That's all I have to say for now I guess! Thank you for reading, and once again, if anyone else something they wanna share, feel free to do so <3
