CyberWeek 2025 starts January 19th!

A weeklong celebration of our favorite edutainment program with artistic prompts everyday! The show first premiered on the 21st of January so let’s celebrate!

What sort of Art is allowed?

Any and all! Traditional/Digital Art, Writing, Cosplay, Video edits, anything you can make! Anything you wanna make! Sew a doll, bake a cake, whatever! Sadly, prompts aren’t made with all types of art in mind, so feel free to interpret them however you want to fit your medium!

Rules!

Prompts are posted early this year, and I ask that you withhold from posting your entries until the day of! You may however start and finish them whenever you want!

No Tracing, Use of Bases or other assets without COMPLETE transparency. Credit your sources! Pinterest, WeHeartIt, Google etc are not sources. Find the artist, please.

Jan 19 - Redraw

Let's warm up with the prompt Redraw! You can choose whether you want to redraw a scene from the show or Cyberchase art you've made in the past!

Jan 20 - Seasons

We've had the prompts Winter and Summer! This year, you get the choice to do whatever season you want! Missed out on the Summer prompt? Just feel like doing Winter again? Have at it! Maybe your favorite season is Spring or Autumn and it's their time to shine!

Jan 21 - Chase

Today is the Anniversary of the show we all love! So let's put the CHASE in Cyberchase! There are lots of episodes that involve the good guys chasing the bad guys! Or trying to outrun them! What was your favorite? Or maybe you have a thrilling scenario in mind!

Jan 22 - Chill

What's the opposite of Chase?? Well, it's to run away. But we're going with the prompt chill!! The show involves a lot of high stakes, so let's give our favorite characters some down time. How do they relax? Alone? With others? A good book, or do they skate their troubles away?

Jan 23 - Food

Cyberchase has a lot of unique looking food! Maybe we can make a nice painting of one. Or have some characters share a nice lunch on your favorite Cybersite. This prompt has so many possibilities!

Jan 24 - Companion

We're continuing the idea of relationships with this prompt, Companion! What does the word companion mean to you? Somebody that's always glued to the other's side! A faithful pet? A comrade in arms! Or maybe just a really good buddy. :)

Jan 25 - OCs

To close out our celebration of Cyberweek, let's have some fun with the little characters we've made up for fun! 😊

Cyberweek Day 7: OC

To end cyberweek here's some tidbits about my self insert pix + selfship lore

Even though he only appeared literally THREE TIMES the whole 22 years, I still ship myself with him. I think he's cool and has a potential to be a recurring ally to the squad. Also I'm a sucker for normal laidback guy x powerful magic woman trope

Technically Coop isn't an oc but there's so much we don't know about his life, I had to make one up. After his return, Coop starts working HQ as the repair guy/mission control. One potential redesign has him look older due to the magnetite. Since he had been infected for so long and so intensely, some of the damage is permanent. That won't keep him from staying off the rails!

Coop was a child prodigy in both inventing and extreme sports, but became a small time mechanic because he didn't care much for the spotlight.

He and Pix met she was assigned a mission in Radopolis where Coop and Hacker were working on an Top Secret project for Motherboard. She was disguised as a Radster, that coop quickly deduced that she was a poser.

Coop was a single father at the time. He had broken up woth a girlfriend from a previous relationship and had full custody of Slider. Pix absolutely fell in love with the boy, he was adorable and was just as passionate about life and skating as his father. She felt bad Coop had all this responsibility, so she often visited them to help around the shop or watch over Slider. Over time Pix grew to be a regular fixture at the shop. Eventually Coop started to enjoy her presence, and one night asked her out on a date.

Pix was nervous but was convinced by her friend to give it a shot. She loved it. Coop had this calming presence that made the night bearable. He wasn't judgemental, and even nervous himself. After a few more dates they made their relationship official but kept it on the down low.

Until Hacker found out...and Oooh. He was PISSED! He had wanted to ask Pix out FIRST!

After Coop's disappearance Pix took over his duties as store owner. She wanted to know the real reason behind his disappearance. She suspected Hacker to be the one behind it but wasn't for sure. She missed coop terribly, so much she lost her taste for skating and magic. It wasn't until meeting the kids she gradually regained her sense of peace. Pix began to play old rock songs Coop gifted her with, and always made sure to pay the bills. The shop was all she had.

Until Slider found the letter inside the picture frame. Pix read and and realized Coop left to protect them. Now he was in danger, time to return the favor.

They did find Coop, but their fight wasn't over as there was still Mecha Hacker to defeat. Luckily with leftover energy from the Transformatron and sheer love for Coop, her family and friends Pix evolved to a bigger form and took Hacker straight on!

Hacker had a huge crush on Pix, in fact her choosing Coop over him was one factor into his turn to evil. But she hates him now. She used to see him as a friend, if a bit weird, so she was disappointed to discover his true nature as a selfish butthole.

Even 22 years later, Hacker still thinks he has a chance XD

I don’t have time to do all the prompts for Cyberweek but I at least wanted to draw 8-Bit for the OC prompt.

Also bonus Asterisk because he’s a supportive henchman.

@cyberweek 2 is Role Reversal, so I decided to draw an AU of mine, Frozen In Time AU! Instead of Coop disappearing, Slider was the one who took the NIC and ended up disappearing. Little did Coop know, Hacker ended up putting Slider in a frozen cryostatus to blackmail Coop into giving him the NIC, which he didn't have. Once Slider escapes, he finds that five years have passed, and Coop is a tad disbelieving that his miraculously returned son is the same age he was five years ago until Slider pulls out the NIC.

Cyberweek begins Tomorrow!

Hey, everyone! The anniversary of Cyberchase is this Sunday, the 21st! Just a reminder we'll be starting with the prompt Redraw! And another reminder that on the 23rd, I'll be having a couple of friends helping me out. So I ask you be extra patient with how this blog and event is handled! All entries that follow rules and are appropriate will be reblogged!! And please remember to be kind and supportive to one another!

Cyberweek Day 1 - Redraw

I decided to do a redraw of a redraw. One of my earliest pieces for Cyberchase, when I participated in Huevember. This is one of my favorite episodes, and this super brief moment made me lose my mind back then, lmao. It's still a sweet to me, so I leaned towards my own interpretation of the scene, haha.

Cyberweek day 5: Crossover

Since cyberchase shifted focus from math to environmentalism, the best show for crossover with is Wild Kratts! The technology in WK makes it possible. Imagine the cybersquad helping the Kratt bros in the real world. Or maybe something funky happens with the Tortuga and it sends the crew to cyberspace?

Imagine the Kratt Krew finding out that the only thing standing between evil is a group of kids.

The Kratts wondering what species Digit is modeled after.

Inez geeking out over the creature power suits.

Jackie freaking out when she activates a flying mode

Matt choosing the coolest animal

Chris: "hey i thought my main color is green!"

Matt: "who said you have ownership over an entire color?"

Aviva: "BOTH of you can be green!"

Jimmy thinking they're just transported into a game, in fact it's his knowledge of games that ends up saving the day

Koki overwhelmed by the various sites and sights, who knew the net had a whole sentient population

Donita recommending a new villain suit for Hacker (much to his annoyance)

Delete is a secret fan because he likes bunnies just as much as the Kratts like animals

Zach being very impressed with how advanced Cyberspace is, proceeds to hatch a scheme to steal its secrets for himself

Poor Fabio just wants to go home, far away from that witch (and it's not Donita this time)

The lesson could be about how the internet is a useful tool for spreading information - and MISINFORMATION - and how to fact check.
