Been thinking abt retired price a lot

Outside doing yard work, all but barking at you to stay your ass inside cause he’s got it.

Perching up behind him on the couch to rub his shoulders, joints aching because military service and age seem to be worse on certain days.

If you still work, John will grumble every few days about how “you don’t need to work love, can take care of ya.” Which you know and assure him of that as you kiss him while getting out of bed. He’ll sit in the bathroom as you get ready, make you your preferred morning drink and maybe even pack your lunch.

“John you don’t need to-“

“Least I can do, not jus’ gonna sit around and let my pretty wife have a million things to do.”

Grumbles about gaining weight every time you make a meal, which is most nights. Seeing John a bit softer around the edges puts your mind at ease. It’s not often he gets strung up on how he’s not as cut as he used to be, but when he does you spend a few hours assuring him with kisses and then some that, “Love the way you look John- part of the whole marriage plan I had actually. Needed a nice body pillow.” Which earns a chuckle, before you’re bouncing in his lap murmuring how much you adore him and like treating him well.

Being the host for the get together dinners John drags the 141 into. An excuse to see his boys again, and an excuse to show off the pretty thing he gets to see everyday.

aaaa worked on these a while ago but!! i’ve got a pétronille design finally!! and it was nowhere near as daunting as i expected to be!!!! this was really fun to work on actually. don’t look at that leftmost doodle btw. it’s. Not Great (by my standards for myself at least).

in terms of colors she’s mostly just a Slightly Edited version of bonnie’s palette. the only noteworthy addition here is the blue (or. well. more like grey actually) i added to her shirt, hat, and waist wrap. no real reason here, i just thought it’d contrast well with her colors!!

i also kept her outfit pretty similar to bonnie’s! bonnie’s official ref mentions that their shirt is too big for them so! i think it’d be cute for all of their clothes to be hand-me-downs from nille🩶. i imagine she cares more about practicality than fashion, so her outfit’s pretty simple! breathable clothes she can move around in, a bag to hold her stuff, and a hat to keep the sun out her eyes.

generally went for more. blocky??? shapes here? i wanted to set her apart from bonnie! idk. not much to say here!

this didn’t affect her design That Much outside of the bandages on her hands, but she’s rock type here! it just Made Sense with her hammer. in hindsight i wonder if that influenced her design being more Square…

Little ramble analysis of the haircut scene for funsies

Starting off strong with stone putting the rose in Rob’s mouth….i don’t think I’ll ever recover from this image it carries so much fiery tension you can feel it through the screen. What else would I have to say here? That they have their own telenovela roleplay going on? Yes. Yes I think so. And the way Rob’s gaze shifts to stone 🧍

HELLO THAT INSANE GRIP? Forearms out and everything woaw. Callback to my last post like chill stone. I love how you can also tell while watching these scenes that Ivo barely puts up a fight so stone is just being freaky for no real reason other than the intimacy of it all. (Esp when later is seems stone is exerting too much pressure on Ivo and he yelps—Rob trusts him that much to allow stone to be rough with him…they really are freak 4 freak ❤️) Then Stone just ripping off the goggles so fast in this image like this guy is WAY too excited 🌝

I think if you showed these next two images to a stob shipper back in 2022 they’d go into cardiac arrest. Seriously. The way Stone just launches him back and climbs over him 🤒 Robottomnik is real ig. (Can’t wait to get this shot in HD)

So Stone is fully looking at Rob’s lips in this one…like bffr his gaze is so obvious, it’s not on Ivo’s scalp :) He finally has the chance to unabashedly stare at the other man’s lips bc Rob isn’t paying attention after having to avoid his gaze for years….ijbol I guess Rob DID want him on his lap. God and the way he CRADLES HIS HEAD? Like at what point does this not get out of hand bc that angle cannot be efficient for shaving his hair.

And lastly the gentler moments, where at least Stone’s freak is toned down. I imagine after having to maintain that unruly mane for Ivo for so long he’s reveling in the feeling of the clean scalp. In a sense he was able to shed the weight off of Rob and bring him back to his former glorious self. Notice how he was rough with the hair, but without it he was gentler? But Ivo….oh Ivo looks absolutely blissed out 😭 also the sneaky side glance to the camera from Jim in the second pic…we get it—it was ur idea to have specifically Lee, as Stone, cut Rob’s hair in such an intense way…thank you Jim🙏 And again…cradling his head akbdjdifkrnd

Ladies and Gentlemen, Bitches and Bastards, Witches and Wizards, Mothers and Fuckers. Esteemed robot enjoyers, I present to you a semi-accurate height comparison of Bumblebee across the multiverse (as of July 2024). This really helps visualize the truly staggering differences between universes, at least height-wise. Also, three of these characters are Canonically the Same Guy; guess which ones.

I spent way too much time on the chart in the back it's not even funny. I will probably make more height charts for more TF characters and universes in the future. Don't expect it soon though, because when I make these, I am fueled by pure I-Got-Bored-At-Work-And-I-Have-Decided-To-Fool-Around-With-Robot-PNGs, and that fuel supply is inconsistent at best.

Hey Fun Fact, Did you know that Generation 1 Optimus Prime is around 19 Feet Tall? Bet some of you already knew that. I have no ulterior motives for bringing this fact up, what are you talking about.

My height explanations are below the cut, because you couldn't shut me up if you tried.

In an order:

Gen 1 - ~10 feet (the wiki says greater than 3 meters so I rounded up to the first whole number because round)

Netflix Cybertron Trilogy - ~10 feet (He looks identical to Gen 1 so... the reason his photo looks weird is because I couldn't find a good full body photo with him standing straight up facing the camera so I put two images together to make the worst looking photoshop job you have ever seen)

Earth Spark - 10 feet (There is no confirmed height yet but using a screen shot of him standing in front of a barn door I was able to make a reasonable guess.)

Animated - 12 feet (I have no genuine source for this, I think this info is just someone's guesstimate, but it seems reasonable. He's a tiny two door mini car, how big could he be)

New Live Action - 15 feet (The wiki hath declared. Also do we have a name for this universe because we need one I don't want to keep saying like 6 words to differentiate this one from bayverse)

Bayverse V1 - 16 feet (This is like the first 3 movies minimum, I don't remember when he hits his growth spurt. also wiki my love)

Cyberverse - 18 feet (I'm gonna be honest, the only info we have is from a really shitty screen shot of a magazine. SO if any one has a copy of this book from the video below, a high quality scan would be greatly appreciated and I will kiss the ground you walk upon. Yes I found the video where the screen shot comes from leave me alone)

Bayverse V2 - 18 feet (movie 4-5 I can't remember which one, I'm not re-looking this up. I fucking love the bayverse tho, this is the only universe with concrete and consistent this-character-is-this-height info)

Aligned Cont. WF/FOC - 20 feet (video game info screens you god send, kiss me sweetly)

Aligned Cont. TFP/RID15 - 21 feet (I do not know exactly where these numbers were found, but I fully fucking believe them. Just by looking at these characters on the show I can verify these numbers in my mind. They made specifically this universe to be full of freakishly tall robots for some fucking reason.)

And for any one who doesn't know, the three tallest are the same guy. Like the 20 feet tall one and the 21 feet tall ones, same guy. The ones in three wildly different art styles and designs. Let that sink in...

I fucking hate the aligned continuity why is that one my favorite.

I'm sure Minkowski never forgot that Cutter was the first person ever to call her Commander. After recruiting her in Once in A Lifetime, he starts to call her Lieutenant, then breaks into laughter, before correcting himself: "What am I saying? Commander Minkowski." He draws attention to himself granting that title, stressing its significance. By initially calling her by a lower ranking, then conspicuously correcting himself, Cutter emphasises that he's the one granting her that title. Right at the beginning of Minkowski's employment with Goddard Futuristics, Cutter plants the seed for his line in the finale: "People cared about you because of what I made you: A soldier. A leader. A commander. I gave you that, and now? I taketh away."

And he does take it away. Cutter makes a point of calling her Commander in that first meeting, but he hardly ever calls Minkowski Commander after that. He almost always calls her Renée. He makes the point in that first interaction that he has the authority to grant her that title, and then in every subsequent interaction he tries to make the point that she doesn't have command over him. Having called her Commander once makes every time he doesn't call her by her title seem more deliberate. It's not that he never uses titles - it's that he uses them selectively. He gives her a taste of that sense of authority, but he doesn't want her to feel worthy of it.

In the liveshow, he cuts her off by shouting "I AM SPEAKING, LIEUTENANT!". Minkowski is the Commander of the Hephaestus in official terms at this point and Cutter even refers to her as "a mission commander" later in the same episode. So there is a deliberate malice to Cutter calling Minkowski Lieutenant here. Not only does it emphasise the use of authority structures as a means for control and the abandonment of first-name-basis false friendliness, calling her by another title makes his choice not to call her Commander even more explicit, denying her that authority.

Apart from when he recruits her, the only other time I can think of when Cutter directly calls Minkowski Commander is in Ep60, when he lays out his offer to let Minkowski leave on the Sol: "How does that sound to you, Commander?" Again, calling her Commander is a kind of power play, an attempt at manipulation, highlighting the sense of responsibility that motivates so many of Minkowski's actions. Cutter is prompting her to ask the question she would be asking herself anyway: what choice would a good Commander make? Just as he did when he recruited her, Cutter offers Minkowski something she desperately wants, and the use of her title here only draws attention to the idea that Cutter is the one with the power, choosing what to give her.

I am just OBSESSED with exploring the idea that he’s a natural legilimens & OBSESSED with the thought that he thinks too much for his own good🫶🫶🫶

Ominis Gaunt has always suspected he is cold-blooded.

It makes sense, really.

He always seems to be cold: frigid, long fingers that are often stiff and difficult to move; goosebumps raising the skin of his arms and the back of his neck any time he walks through the drafty halls of the dungeons; even his eyes, he has been told, are reminiscent of ice. They are apparently quite unsettling. The only time he feels comfortable in his body is when he basks in the heat of the sun.

His earliest memory is of the cold. It went like this: he was four years old: his older brother, Marvolo, had led him outside as a joke, he swore up and down that it was just a small joke, and how was he supposed to know that poor, blind Ominis would not be able to find his way back home? When his parents had finally found him, his frail mother sobbing and holding his tiny, blue, hypothermic body to her chest, Ominis remembers feeling quite perturbed at the disturbance. Couldn’t he just be left alone, in the silent soft snow?

He does not know if he has ever felt warm since.

As he strides through the dungeons, the copious amount of warming charms he casts on himself do not seem to be enough, but he keeps casting them anyways and also: wrapping his wool scarf more tightly around his neck, quickening his pace in the hopes that blood flows more easily through his limbs, wishing that he had remembered his gloves. Winter is always a terrible time of year (this winter more terrible than usual), and every breath of warm air leaves his lips reluctantly. How he wishes that he could just hold on to it a bit longer and yet the warmth leaves him precisely fifteen traitorous times a minute, the frigid air gleefully entering and burning its way down his throat in response. Maybe it’s a punishment of some sort.

His whole life has been defined by punishments and sometimes he preoccupies himself with the thought that it is the only way he can view the world. Most of the punishments are manifested in curses inherited from his family. (His parents and Marvolo insist that they are gifts, but Ominis begs to differ.)

First, his blindness: the only true punishment-curse that even his family rejects: caused by inbreeding, no doubt. He did not cry after his birth and his mother cradled his tiny body in silent arms, lovingly whispering nonsense-evil-Parseltongue to him but when he opened his eyes and she saw a brilliant celestine blue with no iris, she screamed in horror and shattered the frigid peace of the room. His parents tried everything to fix him, make him whole, throwing money at various possible solutions to no avail. Magically induced disabilities are not, apparently, curable by magic.

Ominis is not sure that he hates being blind, although he suspects everyone thinks that he should. It is as much a part of him as his fifteen-breaths-per-minute, and he thinks that vision is not all it’s cracked up to be. He is always terrified at the thought that his tenuous hold on sanity is only due to the fact that he cannot see, until he realizes he shouldn’t be terrified of hypothetical situations that cannot come to pass. He consoles himself with the thought that maybe, if he has had to give up his vision for his sanity, it is a small price to pay. Although, he also thinks sometimes that it would be nice to live a life without any morality holding him back.

He is entirely too introspective, after all.

It is precisely this introspection that is his downfall in this moment (and his cold blood). Ominis is so busy casting warming charms on himself and thinking in circles that he cannot use his wand to help him sense his environment and so he should not be surprised when he crashes into her.

And yet he is. Terribly surprised.

Maybe if he were not so caught up in his own thoughts he could have paid more attention to his surroundings. Instead, he spent too much time ruminating on his reptilian heritage and has now barreled head first into his arch-nemesis.

Rosalie Harris.

The girl who has stolen his oldest friend from him.

The girl who is currently making angry noises as she clambers to her feet and is picking up the things that he has crashed everywhere. Even if he could see, Ominis is not sure he would help her. Helping her would be akin to betraying himself, after all.

“Hey! Watch where you’re - oh, hello, Ominis.”

“Rosalie,” he says shortly, nodding his head where he thinks she might be standing and stepping to the side. He tightens his grip around his wand, feeling the texture of the wood change from rough to smooth as he runs his thumb down it. Smooth where he always seems to worry it, rough where the wood refuses to yield to the brushes of his thumb.

He surreptitiously casts the spell - he has at least done it so many times he no longer needs to say it out loud - and his surroundings light up. Or, he supposes that is the most apt description, considering he cannot actually differentiate between light and dark. He senses Rosalie’s silhouette to his left - she is standing with her arms crossed and her foot taps impatiently as she waits for him.

Waiting for what? he thinks, slightly irritated. She never seems to leave him alone and he wracks his brain trying to think of something, anything he can say to get rid of her.

Maybe if he speaks in Parseltongue, she would finally be scared away for good. He does not really want that second reminder of his family’s curse, though.

His family preferred speaking in Parseltongue with each other, believing the ability made them morally superior to everyone else and Ominis had not even realized until he had arrived at Hogwarts that no, it was not normal. When his name had been called at the Sorting, furious whispers had erupted amongst all the students, and his every step (terrified, confused, unsure - he had still been getting used to using his wand to navigate his surroundings) to the stool at the front of the Great Hall was plagued with a susurration reminiscent of snakes. Except these whispers, sneaking their way into his mind, had been unkind and overwhelming.

(He had not realized in that moment that he was also hearing their thoughts.)

Maybe now, with Rosalie standing in front of him and just annoyingly waiting for Merlin-knows-what, Ominis should use his Legilimency to find out what Rosalie wants. (He hates it, though.) It would not be difficult. (The thought makes him shiver in horror because he doesn’t want to abuse the ability.) He can feel the edges of her mind, her magic, and all he has to do is reach out - she is right there, and -

“Ominis?”

Her arms are crossed, he hears an impatient huff.

Why hasn’t she left him alone yet?

Hadn’t the Hogwarts Express already left the station, bringing all of the students home for the winter holiday? Ominis had thought he would be one of the only students left in the castle, and if he is being honest with himself, he had been looking quite forward to having the place to himself.

Ominis’s winter has just gotten infinitely worse.

Going to Gaunt Manor for the holidays is out of the question (he will not think about the nightmares that have been plaguing him ever since he received the owl demanding he go home), and Ominis does not want to be more of a burden to the Sallows. They already do enough for him over the summer, and Sebastian and Anne have convinced him to go to Hogsmeade with them at least twice over the next two weeks. Besides, with Anne’s curse progressing, Ominis does not want to be in the way.

“Why are you still here?” Ominis asks. He knows his voice comes across as cold as his blood, blunt, but he cannot help himself. Ever since Rosalie arrived - her entrance to Hogwarts also causing quite the stir - Ominis has been intensely annoyed by her presence. She is too happy. Too carefree. Too…well, everything he is not.

And, she does not seem to leave him alone.

Rosalie is always there, always hanging around Sebastian. (Taking Sebastian away.) He even showed her the Undercroft, which had almost caused a rift in their relationship. Ominis could not believe that Sebastian would be so careless, showing someone who for all intents and purposes is crashing her way into their lives, forcing them to pay attention to her. They barely even knew her, and yet Sebastian thought it was a good idea to show her such a sacred place?

(It does not help that she is intelligent, and Ominis has caught himself on more than one occasion about to ask her about her opinion on something before he catches himself.)

“I was looking for you.”

Ominis tilts his head at that and fiddles with his ring. He considers walking away, leaving -

“I mean…Sebastian said that you were also going to be here over the holidays and since everyone else just left I thought -”

“Thought what?” Internally, Ominis winces at the biting tone to his voice. It came out harsher than he intended, his voice loud and echoing through his mind, bouncing off the cold, stone walls surrounding them.

because even if no one else is interested, YOU are. you enjoy this idea. you're passionate about this concept. you should write for YOU, not for potential critics.

and even besides that, i guarantee you that there's at least 1 other person out there who would also enjoy your fic. it's essentially statistically impossible for you to be the only person on the planet who thinks the way you do, and enjoys the themes and ideas and characters and settings that you do.

write it. post it. take pride in the fact that you created something that you value. your fic exists, and that in of itself is amazing.

Some of my headcanons on Sanguinius

I have lot of thought about this man, so here I go: 1) Personally headcanon that Sanguinius doesn't have hawk wings, he has owl wings. Specifically that of a snowy owl considering how Sanguinius' wings are described as being pure white, I feel like it makes sense for him have the wings since he's not albino. This does give Sanguinius the ability to fly completely silently. I imagine he doesn't actually make much noise in flight, unless one counts the wind from his massive ass wings. 2) Has hollow bones. Freaky, but would make sense, likely means he weighs much less then he looks. Don't get me wrong, bastard is still heavy as shit. Doesn't really affect him much, his regeneration takes care of any downside it may have on him. Sanguinius is entirely unaware of this until he gets his legs broken, and sometimes his Sons end up with hollow bones. This is usually discovered when the Apothocary discovers an alarming amount of weight loss only for the Neophyte to be completely fine; just very confused. 3) How he acts around others, and how he is as a person, are two separate things. He is most certainly a kind person, that's not fake, what is fake is the way he tends to end up being much more pure then he truly is. He's not fully aware of it, as it was likely a defense mechanism developed when he was a child. Clams up around his brothers as a result of it, and holds them at arms length. Most don't realize this, because he's not like Lion who is just cold towards everyone, or like Perturabo who is actively paranoid. 4) Adding onto the previous, his insecurities are the reason behind his behavior and fears rejection. He knows how mutants are seen within the Imperium. He fears that if he doesn't act nice, that if he actually shows the more darker sides of his personality, he'll end up the same way as so many other mutants. Being a psyker does not help this fear in the slightest. Just makes it worse tbh. 5) The absolute king of repressing his emotions. Man repressed the red thirst so hard, he barely feels it and if he does, he shoves that shit right back down. This is also part of why his anger is the way it is. He represses it and then when it comes inevitably out, it's been stewing for sometimes decades at a time. This is also why the black rage is the way it is. Half of it is because yes, killing something like Sanguinius is going to have repercussions, however on the other end Sanguinius had a lot of built up rage that he just sort of swept to the side. 6) Does actually feel the red thirst pretty strongly but as I said before, he represses that shit. This has probably in resulted in him going months without and having an exasperated apothecary shoving a bottle of blood into his hands. He does have his favourite serfs that he likes the blood of best, but he also doesn't really drink from them because unsurprisingly he needs a lot of blood. Used to get it mostly from animals on Baal. Tends to be sneaky about it out of shame. 7) His wings are very sensitive and he doesn't really like people touching them. Absolutely hates it when he's petted on his wings, though that largely depends on whose doing it. Tends to prefer preening his wings himself, though he does have a serf who tends to his wings when he's having a really bad moult.

8) Didn't realize that his wings were supposed to be white for a long time. Genuinely thought they were just a pale orangey red. Found out later that it was because they were straight up just full of sand. This is mostly because for the longest time he just did dust baths. It worked for the most part though he much prefers normal baths. He finds his skin is much less itchy and he can fly faster then before. Will dust bathe on desert planets. Why he does it is anyone's guess. 9) Doesn't enjoy the fact that he has to have special accommodations for his wings. Fulgrim learned the hard way that if Sanguinius is on the Pride of the Emperor, he needs to have an area for Sanguinius, or Sanguinius can and will knock shit over with his wings. Usually he's pretty good about not doing it, but never trust a Sanguinius that's running off of half an hours sleep that was three days ago and hasn't had any sleep for three weeks before that. Fulgrim learned this the hard way and they both agreed to never speak of it again.

10) Can be nippy, especially with his Sons, they have long learned that this is just what happens when Sanguinius is half-asleep and hasn't quite woken up properly but wants to show that he cares. They don't say anything about it, and some of them think it's actually kind of cute. 11) Loves shiny things. Doesn't steal, he has enough self control, but does deeply enjoy wearing shiny jewelry. It has escaped no one that if one gifts Sanguinius jewelry he will fluff and ruffle his wings happily. This is adorable, and some people wonder if he's just secretly a particularly large corvid.

i love rambling and getting out my thoughts on my silly little blog so here we go

i LOVE underverse and it's interpretation of ink and error; genuinely an interesting possible dynamic between the two!!

however, i think people forget underverse is an alternate MULTIVERSE, not just an AU (Xtale).

i see people all the time misinterpret canon error and ink as hating each other, being enemies, ink being an edgy emotionless POS, and error being angry and grumpy all the time. but... that's a fanon interpretation of the two?? again, i genuinely love and enjoy underverse ink and error, but people forget that they are NOT the same as canon ink and error!!

(plus underverse ink and error are more complex than the fandom potrays them anyway. jael i love you frfr)

ink and error canonly do not know each other, and im pretty sure their creators said they'd be friends, actually, if they DID ever meet. crayonqueen has literally drawn them being friendly towards each other??

plus they're just silly skeletons. the ship isn't even problematic, because what their relationship is like is completely up to your personal preference. it isn't that serious. you will not die if you see art of them clanking teeth.... i promise...
