"This second (long Covid) round table was very interesting, lasting three and a half hours. It serves as a unique forum for dialogue among scientists, researchers and those affected by long Covid, facilitating the exchange of ideas.

There are many new findings about long Covid. Not all of them are good news. One piece of not-so-good news concerns the fact that long Covid is actually still a problem for those who are newly infected. One estimate that has been put forward is that the risk of contracting long Covid now, even after vaccination, is around 3%. Now you may say, "that's not such a big risk" , but there are tens of thousands of people who are repeatedly affected in a short period of time. And so, the long Covid problem has not yet been solved.

We have also established that there really are many subgroups of long Covid and that we do not yet have a cure. And it was clearly pointed out that we are also dealing with problems here that will challenge society as a whole, because vascular diseases often occur after long Covid. Throughout Europe, we are currently seeing an increased incidence of cardiovascular disease in the middle-age group - from 25 to 50. This is associated with the consequences of Covid infections.

We also very often find cognitive impairment in older people. And one participant pointed out that it may well be like the Spanish flu, where 20 years after the Spanish flu there was a significant increase in Parkinson's disease and probably also dementia.

This is something we must pay attention to, as the past infection afiects how the immune system in the brain functions, as well as the brain's blood vessels, potentially increasing the long-term risk of these major neurodegenerative diseases. This is why we need to conduct very intensive research. This research has played a major role.

What is the overall assessment of the situation now?

We have to be careful. Long Covid is not curable at the moment. We also know that over 40% of those who have several manifestations of long Covid, for example, five or more, still have symptoms after 2 years, so it doesn't seem to heal spontaneously. We also know that those whose symptoms are more pronounced at the beginning are less likely to heal.

So some of what we know from the demographics of long Covid has been confirmed, and we now know more precisely which mechanisms in the brain, but also in the blood vessels and the immune system, are responsible for this. Professor Scheibenbogan will explain this briefly later.

At this point, I can only say the following - this is particularly important to me:

First of all, long Covid is a disease that stays with us and that we cannot yet cure. And we are seeing an increasing number of cases as the waves of infection continue to affect us.

Secondly, Covid is not a cold - with a cold, you don't usually see any long-term effects. You don't see any changes in the blood vessels. You don't usually see an autoimmune disease developing. You also don't usually see neurological inflammation - these are all things that we see with long Covid. Therefore, one should not assume that Covid infection is just a common cold. It can affect brain tissue and the vascular system, and we still lack an effective treatment, making these studies crucial.

Significantly, we know that the risk of long Covid decreases when you're infected but have been vaccinated. That's why it's concerning that only 3 million people have been vaccinated with the new, adapted vaccine. That is a very bad result.

Please protect yourself from severe infections.

Please protect yourself from long Covid.

Currently, the danger posed by Covid is indeed being underestimated. Nothing is worse than infecting someone at Christmas who then becomes seriously ill and may not fully recover."

Witchcraft 101:

Cleansing vs Uncrossing vs Banishing

Alright witches. Lets dive into some witchy basics and discuss the differences between cleansing, uncrossing and banishing. This will hopefully help you differentiate between them. But.. lets be honestly if you do something like call a spell an uncrossing when "technically" doing a banishing, who cares its all in good spirit. The reason i think its good to have a difference in mind between these falls into how you handle a spell. If I'm doing an uncrossing vs a banishing i would choose different spell ingredients, maybe work with different gods, or choose a different element to work with.

Cleansing: I consider cleansings as the foundation and most basic of these. Its almost an umbrella term the other two fall under. All banishings are cleansings, but not all cleansings are a banishing. Cleansings are when you're trying clear something away. Most often people will use this term in day to day workings and general upkeep to make sure nothing has stuck to them. This would include more casual things like smoke cleansing, showering and asking the water to cleanse you, sound cleansing, etc. Its not a full spellworking or ritual, but still done with energy and intention. Sometimes you may do a cleansing and realize whatever is there, is stuck deeper then you expected. So you take the next steps and do a more "intense" cleansing like an uncrossing or banishing.

Uncrossing Spells: Uncrossing specifically refers to removing unwanted energy. Usually when discussing what is an uncrossing, I sperate it from just a cleansing by describing it as a very intense cleansing where you're trying to strip away intense and specific energy. These are more work and a step up from an everyday cleansing for more intense scenarios. This is very spirit focused; think of it as taking out the bad and putting in the good. Some types of spells I would consider an uncrossing are: removing hexes/jinx/curses, removing the evil eye, spiritual detoxes, road openers, removing any stubborn energy, removing feelings, etc. I associate uncrossings with water: it's soaking in and getting that energy out. I would choose herbs/spell ingredients that are uplifting and purifying. Think salt, rosemary, rue, and lemons.

Banishing Spells: Banishing spells remove unwanted entities, spirits or people. You can use it to get rid of very deep rooted things like habits or insecurities. Banishings are quite a strong forms of spellwork. You're really kicking something out and away from you when you do a banishing. Its connected to more deep rooted things that you're trying to remove from your life. Some types of spells I could consider a banishing: cord cutting, exorcisms, banishing a spirit attached to you, getting rid of insecurities, freezers, etc. I associate banishings with fire. Burn and gtfo. I would choose herbs that have more of a kick to them and are defensive. Think nettle, blackberry leaves, cloves, even pepper in some cases.

Please note this doesn't have to be something strict. Like i said at the beginning this is just a guide that will help you differentiate so you can tackle the spellwork as effectively as possible.

Even if you're a SAM user so clearly you're experiencing 2 distinct identities, exclusionists will decide on a whim that SAM users can't be lesbians and they'll demand you leave the community. The omni lesbian who's got a heavy preference for women and so calls themself a lesbian will validate your distinct experiences as two different things, deserving of having both labels.

You have to learn to give these people the same acceptance. They are your community. They are the people that will listen to you when you explain how you're simultaneously mspec and a lesbian, and they're the ones who will validate your identity. You need to unlearn the things exclusionists say. You need to unlearn "nonmen loving nonmen" as the One True Definition of Lesbian. It will take a little bit, I know. It's an adjustment. But if you push away the community you have, then you'll end up alone. The people who would have accepted your identity don't want to associate with you because you invalidated them. The people who most of your beliefs align with hate your identity. So please, don't push away the community. Take time to learn it, accept it, and be part of it. Ask questions if you want to, in good faith. If you have to, make up an explanation like exclusionists do, but instead of something bad faith, make up something you'd accept (I did this with binary trans man lesboys when I was still attached to nmlnm, because I was thinking about orchid aces and how despite not fitting a definition they're still a part of the asexual community because their unique experience makes them feel more like an asexual than an allosexual, and I realized that would totally apply to a lot of binary trans man lesboys). Whatever it takes to accept the rest of your community because if you reject it, you're aligning yourself with people who hate you.

I learned this from experience. I wanted to be one of the good ones for a hot minute. I was against pan lesbians despite being a bi lesbian because I hadn't even thought of split attraction and I thought "well bi is compatible with being a lesbian because 2+ genders and nmlnm don't contradict but pan lesbian isn't because all genders and nmlnm do." I was resistant to non-SAM mspec lesbians that liked men. I was resistant to lesboys. But thankfully I held my tongue long enough to hear them talk about their history, their experiences, and point out how genderqueerness and multigenderism would very obviously allow men to be lesbians (before I had my epiphany about binary trans man lesboys). I am forever grateful that I didn't voice my shitty baby bi lesbian opinions and immediately push away the community that accepted me as a lesbian, as a biromantic, as a term collector, and as all of me. I got the chance to grow as a person.

So even if none of this stuff makes a lot of sense to you yet, I promise you will get it in time. Do not try to be one of the good ones. You'll never be accepted by the people you're trying to appeal to. The people who will accept your explanations, will also accept the rest of the community and their explanations. You don't have to other anyone to be accepted by the people who are willing to accept you.

And we know how Bill copes with things so it's best if you give him some time alone. He will come back when ready and pretend that never happens.

I think anything that has to do with home is bittersweet to him and if this is under the notion that you are not aware of him being the reason that it is gone. 

That is a whole new layer of issues to get into. 

In this Au, I would like the idea of the reader discovering Ford before Bill and then becoming good friends with him. Promising him knowledge about the multiverses and different realms that exist. They have been alive just as long as Bill so they pick up a thing or two. 

The reader and Ford's friendship is genuine. The reader gifts him many different types of moths to Ford, introducing them to anything earth-related. 

Ford does well fall for the reader but they have no clue about it. They never allow themselves to experience a relationship or either too shy to enter one. 

I mean, have you seen Bill's track record? That man is not a good partner at all! And if I wanted to add more salt to the wound. 

Bill having feelings for the reader can be included in this but it would take him so long to want to pursue it because he associates the reader with Euclidea. He wants to leave that in the past but, we know he keeps his home close to his heart. 

So when he's accepting his long-term feelings for the reader here's the reader and Ford slowly learning how to love themselves and each other—from late-night talks to the reader telling Ford what happened to their homeworld and why they want him to contact Stanly because you may never know when you're going to lose the people that you love. 

And let's just say the reader was making good progress with Ford! Helping him interact with others and trying to get out of his comfort zone bit by bit. 

Their relationship was sweet it was kind and gentle. Then Bill came in and ruined all of it. 

The moment he did that it made the reader's perception of Bill change for the worst. The reader probably doesn't have a lot of friends outside of him and sticks close to him because of grief and familiarity. The reader most likely looks at Bill with rose-tinted glasses and tries to justify his actions in their head. 

So when they meet Ford, they likely want to keep it private and separate from their other life.

So when Bill finds out about Ford and his intelligence, he swoops his right under the reader's nose with an excuse. 

"ANY FRIEND OF YOURS IS A FRIEND OF MINE. PLUS I CAN'T HAVE SOME RANDO TAKE MY BEST FRIEND NOW, CAN'T I?"  

This leads to them reader and Ford hanging out less and less to the point the reader feels like Ford forgot they exist. Ah, the angst and self-realization around this time for them was like watching a train wreck.

And we know how Bill and Ford's relationship turns out. Let's talk about the reader and fords around his paranoid era. 

Ford probably thinks that they are with Bill and this whole taking over the world plan. So when the reader comes to check up on him after the whole O'Sadley incident.

The interaction that happened between them was heartbreaking. They got their answers on what happened between him and Bill and felt like it was their fault this even happening. The reader is desperate to try to fix it so they won't lose Ford but it is too late. 

"I-I promise! I didn't mean for this to happen! Ford, please tell me what I need to do to fix this! To Fix us!" It's funny you were holding onto him as much as your little frame could. You gasp and whimper out promises hoping for some forgiveness. Ford can feel himself falter for a moment.  He did miss you.  He misses the moments you two had shared. He misses your laugh.  You were so strange to him before, only to now become someone so comforting to him.  Can he trust you again? No. No. No. No. No. No. No! Ford, are you stupid!? Trust them the same person who is friends with him! They probably plan this together! Get you to trust them again then the next thing you know the end of the world is here! And they made you look like an idiot in the process!  Ford felt his jaw clench. Looking down at you hugging his chest, he thinks you look utterly ridiculous. You two must need him much if you resort to begging.  Pathetic.   "You know what I want you to do?" "Yes, please, anything!" You floated away looking at him with hope in your eye(s). Maybe the world not ending after all! "Get away from me and never come back.." and then, your world shatters.

When Bill found you after, you made hell look like a nice family vacation. You barely acknowledge him floating past him toward your room and gently shutting the door. 

This type of pain was familiar to you. It felt like you lost your home and your family all over again. 

What did you do wrong this time? 

Did you not pay enough attention to him? Maybe you should've brought flowers or maybe you should held his hand more. He did like it when you two did that…

You felt like hours so many ifs, so many mistakes, so many should haves. Maybe it is best if you stay away from him. Maybe it was always the best if you stayed away from him. He can't get hurt if you weren't there to ruin his life anymore. 

Yeah, that's what you did you ruined his life.

Bill tried cheering you up saying, that Fordsy hurt both of you and how you two should show him what is missing out. Like no one understood him as you two did. Then the camera pans over to the side to see the reader glaring at him like, "Are you serious?"

The urge to wrap their hands around Bill's non-existent neck was strong that day but, they surprised themselves by not doing it as soon as he entered the room. 

When Ford fell through the portal and started his journey through the realms the moment the reader found out they were fast to start helping him behind the scenes. From secretly placed supplies to oddly convent weapons or aid whenever they saw he needed it. 

When he found out, they bumped into each other in a random dimension. From their appearance alone he could tell they were going through some things. Bangs under their eye(s) and a hoodie that seems to fit their shapely body. 

The colors on their body were so dim like life was suck of them. They floated close to the ground to appear smaller than they were. No direct eye contact either. 

Ford can feel his finger twitch wanting to reach towards his laser gun. But with that look in their eye(s) he feels like he might not need it. But hey, it isn't bad to be safe right?  "Look, I'm not here to cause any trouble. Just came to drop off this and I'll be on my way…" You snap your fingers and an oddly placed item fell in his hands.  Wait this is.."How did you know I need this? And most importantly, aren't you supposed to be with Bill!?" He snarls.  "One, it may not look like it but I have friends in weird places too you know, and Two no, we're not friends anymore. We never were friends.." He saw how your body color changed to red and your eye(s) seemed to try and imitate a frown. "He lied to me…He lied to me this whole time and I…I just..!"  Breath In and Out Breath In…. And Breath Out… You relax the feeling in your hands and sigh. "I'm sorry. I didn't want you seeing me this way or at all, to be honest.." You made more space between you and Ford seeing him tense at your sudden outburst. By the stars! You already messed this up aren't you reader… "I know you have no reason to trust me and I get that! But we now have the same common enemy and I feel like we should work together.." Ford blink and you then blink again.  Are you joking with him right now? "No." "Come on just listen to me-" "You think I'm going to listen to you after everything that happened? What do you want me to make a deal with you too so you can use my body as a puppet in your stage play?!"  "No! For Fucks sake look at what he did to me!"  With that said the hoodie disappears and reveals cracks. He can see them up and down your 'chest'.  It reminds him of a cracked windshield one small tap and you just shatter right there.  "You think after this and all the other shit he put me through that it was still sunshine and rainbows between us! You were looking around the tavern, and you noticed that the people were still staring at you, it made you uncomfortable, you were worried that one of them of snitch and give your location to your ex-boyfriend, oh how you hope not.

     Price who notices your jittery state, "My child, what seems to be the matter?" Startled, y/n looks at Price."It's nothing. I'm just being paranoid." Y/n stated, not wanting to worry, Father Price. "It's not nothing if you're shaking like a leaf. Are you feeling cold, my child?" Y/n was feeling cold but she wasn't jittery because of that she decided to tell Price the truth, "although I am feeling cold, it's actually because I'm scared, all of these people are looking at me and I'm afraid that one of them must of alerted my ex-boyfriend and that he'll drag me back to his house and there he would punish me for escaping, Father Price." Price frowns at that and he turns around and looks at the patrons in a way that it made them stop staring at y/n, he truns back around and faces y/n, he places his plam gently on her cheek. "My child it's completely normal to feel that way, but you're safe here no one knows about this place, no one is supposed to find it, but somehow you did and it was our great lord who sent you to me, and remember that offering you gave, he'll make sure that you remain safe here in this village. So please stay in this village don't leave." Price removes his hand from her face. Smiling y/n felt alot better maybe it was for the best that she gave her $100 as an offering, she did find a village that was very secluded maybe she was brought here for a reason.

     "Thank you, Father Price, for welcoming me to this village and paying for my meal, I'm eternally grateful." y/n stated greatfully. "You're welcome, my child." Price stated while he gently patted her head. She was greatful for everything Father Price has done for her, but one question remains how will I pay him back, maybe, I could pay him back by being generous to other people, but the local villagers seem skeptical about me, I mean I am an outsider to them, y/n deep in her thought didn't notice Kyle and Johnny walking out with Price's food and y/n food and drink. "Here you go, bonnie lass, one steaming plate of stew." Johnny places the bowl in front of her, "and here is your herbal tea." Kyle states, placing a tea cup on in front of her. Y/n smells the food and takes a bite of the stew and a sip of her tea "mmm this taste amazing thank you so much" y/n happily eating her stew and drinking her tea.

     John looks at Johnny and Kyle, "y/n remember that story I told you about, the one with my two friends who only had $50 combined to their names?" Y/n looks at Father Price, "yes I remember that story, Father Price." Price smiles at y/n, "great cause Johnny and Kyle are the two friends I talked about. Why don't you tell y/n the story, Kyle? Y/n I'll be right back. I have to get something I won't take long. Johnny, Kyle I trust you both to keep y/n safe" Johnny and Kyle looked at each other and then at John knowing full well that what John said about the $50 story is a lie. Kyle smiled, "Of course, Father Price, myself, and Johnny would keep her safe until you return." Kyle answered and then told the story of how both himself and johnny met Jonathan Price, "Johnny and I were the best of friends growing up, we had nothing to our name except for $50 when combined with the money I had and with what Johnny had. We were traveling for a while and we happened to stumbled across this village, and it was at the church on top of hill where we met Father Price, we prayed for good fortune and success and we were told to make an offering so we made our offering of $50 to our lord, we became devoted follwers and after a couple of months we oppend our very own tavern." Y/n looked amazed and hopeful after hearing the story. "We heard you made an offering. How much did you put?" Kyle asked. Y/n looked at Kyle, "Oh, I put $100 in the offering bowl."

there's so much utena discourse around certain aesthetic signatures of the show (in particular, scenes and shots like the sword pulls, the transformations and outfits, etc.) and, like, surface-level discussions over whether these things are "Actually Beautiful" or "Actually Bad."

and i totally get it, especially with regards to some scenes---like the ways in which people have taken the ending scene of episode 33 and turned into weird pastel-pretty aesthetic boards lmao----but i do feel like a lot of the discussion is over-simplistic, and disconnected from the actual framing and themes of the series

utena and anthy's world is full of beauty. it is also full of horror and pain. there is often no clear delineation between the two, and we are forced (quite generously!) to recognize both sides of this.

the sword pulls oftentimes carry feelings of manipulation, hurt, subservience. anthy summoning the sword drives in the repetitive, obedient actions she is forced to repeat time and time again for others as the rose bride. in the black rose arc, they're violent and terrifying. in the third arc, they're stand-ins of the dysfunctions the characters have with the person drawing them, the ways in which their emotions are being twisted and ignored.

and yet! they're beautiful.

they're incredibly intimate moments, in which the two characters---who, generally speaking, are either emotionally or physically estranged from one another---cradle or hold one another, pull out a culmination of that person's essence, as a heavenly light frames the two of them together. the first time anthy does it to utena, it is out of genuine fear for her, her voice quivering with fear as she tries to do anything to help her! it's love! it's an act of beautiful love!

when pressed on how it felt to have their sword drawn, the duelists are flustered---they can't say it was just painful, because it was more than just painful. the screams of the black rose arc turn into something more quiet, ethereal, pretty---and yet still uneasy, unsettling.

a similar conversation can be had about utena and anthy's outfits. they're symbols of their roles as duelist and rose bride, and for anthy in particular it's an outfit emblematic of her status as a static, never-moving prize to be won. the outfits are as ugly as the entire dueling system, and yet---while recognizing this---the show doesn't stray away from associating the dress and the duels with delightful, beautiful imagery. the rose imagery in general is very beautiful and striking, even at some of the more dark moments!

there is an aesthetically pleasing contrast between anthy's dress and utena's uniform---one that goes back ages in terms of our understandings of gender and social status. why is that beauty there? well, for a lot of reasons! one is definitely making us question what we think of as beautiful, particularly in the contexts of gender roles and society (why did we have that gut impulse to see anthy in that dress as beautiful to begin with?) but, for the sake of this post, i think the most satisfying answer is because horror and beauty are usually intertwined in our actual lives.

so much of the show is dedicated to both finding beauty in horrifying situations and seeing how beautiful things are oftentimes pretty horrifying. anthy and utena's relationship is beautiful, but grows out of abuse, sexism, queerphobia, and hurt.

when utena and anthy dance in front of everyone at the ball, how do we interpret that? well, our first instinct is as a beautiful scene of budding love and care between the two of them; our second instinct (especially after watching the show) is that it's another example of the way in which they've both been boxed into these roles of prince and bride---and all as hundreds of eyes are staring at them. when does the line between gender as choice and performance begin, and when does it become oppressive gender roles? when does anthy's performance as the meek rose bride become her real self? when do the two's relationship become loving, and when do they stop hurting each other? when do the ugly things at ohtori become beautiful, and when do all of the beautiful things become ugly?

and there's not really one point, always, although sometimes there are---and sometimes there's multiple points, and sometimes there was no transformation at all, and sometimes things never stopped oscillating between good and bad, ugly and beautiful, scary and hopeful.

and like, even beyond the really radical ways this impacts the queer and feminist readings of the show, i just think that's also very nice. so much of utena is built on recognizing the beauty in the world. the main characters live in a shitty world while leading shitty lives. and they find beauty in it still.

(i will here also add here at the end that when the show wants to make a very clear definitive statement on one of its aesthetics being basically entirely bad with no beauty behind it, it's very frank in its framing. see: any shot with utena in a dress or her girl's uniform)

Michael Afton Headcanons (General + Romantic)

Warning: Childhood abuse

Mrs Afton will be called Clara and Crying Child will be called Evan. 

General

Life in the Afton family was never perfect. William often neglected his family in favor of working on his animatronics and Clara was always fighting with him because of it. This was the norm for Michael and his siblings, unfortunately, so they were used to it. (Not like watching their parents fight and being neglected didn't hurt any less, but...)

Michael was never as obedient as his younger siblings, even when he was a little kid. It was easy to tell that neither of his parents appreciated that very much and favored the others over him. At least Clara made attempts to hide it. With William, it was ridiculously obvious that he didn't feel unconditional love towards his kids, and that he only cared for them when they followed all his directions. So Michael got the worst treatment in terms of neglect. 

Eventually, the fighting got to be too much for Clara. She divorced William and left the kids with him, moving far away so she wouldn't be associated as an Afton anymore. This decision had a horrible effect on each of the Afton kids- Elizabeth became unhealthily attached to her father, Evan lost his only source of comfort (that wasn't a stuffed animal) and it made Michael's approaching teenage angst worse. Meanwhile William's only thought was "Hmm maybe I can design my new balleria animatronic after my ex-wife now... That way I can have another excuse not to take care of my kids 😻"

Being left unsupervised was the worst thing that could've happened to Michael. It gave him a sort of power he shouldn't have had, being that he was frustrated at his entire family and too immature to know how to deal with anger correctly. He vented his anger by becoming a destructive bully. 

At first he just bullied Evan because he was an easy target. Not Elizabeth though, she... Mysteriously disappeared before he could do anything too bad to her. But her disappearence only left Michael more pissed off at the world. He started bullying kids at school with his group of friends. They quickly became the tormentors of the neighborhood. 

Teenage Michael was a total shitbag, really. He hurt others because it made him feel powerful in a situation he was powerless in. Fun Fact: William hurts others to feel powerful too. Like father, like son. 

However, Michael's tormenting wasn't 100% just for a power trip. It was partly to get attention from his father too. He got into all kinds of trouble looking for attention. He got into fights at school, purposely flunked all his classes, made his abuse against Evan abundantly clear, etc. Nothing worked. So then he decided to involve one of his father's own creations in his next scheme... And that one definitely worked. But not in the way he wanted it to.

So Evan was dead. William wasn't pleased, to say the least. It wasn't the fact that his son was dead that got him, it was the fact that Fredbear's had to be shut down. His first passion project was ruined by his own son.

William started giving Michael attention, but not the kind that he needed. He began taking his anger out on him. Screaming, hitting, locking him in his room for hours on end... The list went on. Now Michael knew what it felt like to be in Evan's spot. 

But unlike William, Michael felt geniune sorrow from his brother's death. He never wanted him dead, he just went too far. If the guilt of that wasn't enough, nobody was understanding of him either. His "friends" ditched him and the entire town shunned him. Nobody wanted to be around him anymore. Not many people did to begin with, but now everybody acted like he was an apathetic murderer. (Everybody acted like he was his father...)

He was forced to spend the rest of childhood in isolation. When he wasn't isolated, he was with his father, only piling the mental and physical scars on top of each other. He transitioned from bitter and angry to terrified and ridden with guilt.

He learned his lesson about being an asshole, but he's been beat down so many times that he's afraid to get back up. He just took all the negativity that was thrown at him. He believed that he fully deserved it and that he didn't deserve a happy life. (Because he knew his father sure didn't...)

His only source of comfort at this time was watching TV. The TV raised him when his parents didn't, so... Basically always. One of the reasons he kept going was so he could catch the new Immortal and The Restless episodes. 

Okay this is really stupid and out of place but I like to think this is what it looked like when Michael first discovered Immortal and The Restless:

Once Michael finally became an adult, he was ready to run away from it all. He knew that he didn't deserve to be happy, that he was a monster just as horrible as his father was, but he couldn't take it anymore. He wasn't strong enough. 

So he took a page out of his mother's book and moved away. He didn't have enough money to move too far away, sadly, but he got far enough that nobody in town could recognize him. That's exactly what he was searching for. He desired a chance to start anew.

He didn't want to be Michael Afton anymore. Michael Afton was a murderer, a tormenter, a coward. He wanted to be a better person now, but he was convinced Michael Afton could never be better. Leading him to change his identity once he finished moving.

Michael Afton was dead. He was Mike Schmidt now, and Mike Schmidt was an incredible man. He was friends with all his neighbors, he was hard working, he never caused a bit of trouble. And he always smiled. Never a creepy and unnerving smile, but a warm and pleasant one. 

This change did help him a bit. He was being treated like a person again instead of a monster, so that was appreciated. But it did a lot of harm too. He was pushing down all of his feelings and ignoring his problems. They were Michael Afton's problems, not Mike Schmidt's, after all. He was masking his true self and hiding it all with a grin. (He's like his father no matter what he does...)

However, this new life didn't last long. Everything stopped when he got a phone call from William. It was a sickeningly polite request, asking him to go down to Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental, only for a simple week long shift. 

Naturally, Michael was furious. He didn't want to accept a single request from that asshole, especially not now! He was still reinventing himself! He was ready to decline until William brought up the true reason why he wanted Mike down there- To free his little sister. 

Mike was in awe. This was a chance to fix his past mistakes. Not all of them, of course, but he could make up for at least one part of the past. Though he was reluctant to have anything left to do with those bastardly animatronics, he felt like he had to do this. He gathered his courage and accepted, not knowing what was ahead of him. 

The universe must have decided that he hadn't paid enough for his mistakes, because he ended up literally dying and then having his corpse used as a disguise for murderous animatronics. Not fun. Even when Ennard finally left, he just felt... Empty. Both physically and mentally. He wasn't even sad about it. He was accepting.

This was a natural punishment for trying to run away from his past, he assumed. Mike always thinks he deserves the bad things that happen to him. But, he also realized... When did his father ever get punished for something?

It just wasn't fair. William got away with everything while Mike was the one who had to pay for it. He did some terrible shit when he was younger, he knows, but wasn't this enough? When was William going to pay for slaughtering children for his selfish experiments and power trip? 

In that moment, he knew what he needed to do. He had to kill his father and get revenge. He needed to free the rest of the souls like he did with his sister. That way, he could finally be at peace. 

From then on, Mike was the best version of himself. He still made an effort to keep up his new identity, but he wasn't trying to run away anymore. He was scared and he was battling mental health issues everyday, but he was determined now. And nobody could stop him. 

Romantic

Let's say you fell in love after he moved and changed his name, so you didn't know about his past. He wouldn't tell you the truth for the longest time. Mike sees you in an extremely high light. You've got so many good qualities about you, and he's... Just some cowardly asshole who lives a lie. But you don't know that. You think he's great too. And fuck, he loves that, he wants it to stay that way so badly. He really does want to be with you. 

So he stays as Mike Schmidt. He wouldn't mention a word about Michael Afton, his family, or anything to do with Freddy Fazbear's. Forget Fredbear's. He refuses to be a part of that. Most of the time he just dances around the subject when it's brought up, but he's willing to flat out lie if he has to. He doesn't understand that having a relationship built on lies isn't the best idea. 

Besides that stuff about lying to you, I don't think he'd be too bad of a partner. He loves you so much and wants the best for you. He'd work hard so you could have everything you need/want. But since he works so much, it's hard to find time to spend together. Especially whenever he's working the night shift.

When you do find time, you probably won't be going out on dates. He's paranoid and avoids going out when he can. So you'll likely be at home, whether you're resting in bed or watching Immortal and The Restless together. 

While he was working at Circus's Baby, he always made it a point to call you after 6AM and let you know he was on his way home. You didn't know that, truthfully, it was just his way of letting you know he was still alive. 

He's also a protective boyfriend. Though he doesn't like going out, he would force himself to get past his fear and go out with you when you have to leave. He'll accompany you on trips to the grocery store or other errands. He makes sure to write down your work phone number somewhere safe, so he can call you during your breaks and make sure you're okay. 

And in a way, him lying about his past is a way of protecting you, too. You could get hurt if you get involved. So he buries all the pain and wears a smile, no matter how much it hurts. When he has sudden flashbacks to his father's abuse or the death of his brother, his grin only falters for a second. He considers this his way of being strong. 

Mike can't hide it forever, though. He'll be forced to confess after he gets scooped, because... Well, imagine trying to hide purple skin from somebody you see every day. You'll have to talk some sense into him though- He needs to be convinced that he can't handle everything on his own and that this isn't some punishment for his sins. So weirdly enough, him getting scooped wasn't entirely bad? Because it made your relationship stronger and he's better off, now that he has a goal and somebody to support him along the way. 

But that didn't mean everything was sunshine and rainbows now. For one thing, his appearance is pretty fucked up, and not in the hot way. It's just another thing to add to the list of insecurites. He worries that you'll leave him for somebody better. He avoids physical affection as well, because he's sure you wouldn't want to touch him. 

You can help by giving him lots of reassurance, though. He likes being called handsome even if he doesn't believe it, and it feels good knowing you're always there for him. 

This might be an unpopular headcanon, but I honestly think Michael would want to get married. Probably not when he was younger and the wounds from his trauma were fresh, but once he's older and more healed. Just because his parents' marriage didn't turn out well doesn't mean that yours won't. There probably won't be an official ceremony, there might not even be any official documents saying you got married, but he would buy a pair of rings so you could say you were anyway. It's still marriage to him. 

No kids though. He's still intensely afraid of having one of his own to take care of. The next best thing is Helpy 💀 But speaking of Helpy, the only Fazbear restaurant he'll let you go to is the one from Pizzeria Simulator. It's the only place he has any control over things, so he wouldn't be on the verge of having a panic attack everytime you got near an animatronic... But maybe you still don't need to be around those high risk ones...

Oh, and don't worry, he won't stick around in the fire like he did at the end of the game. I believe the only reason he did that was because he didn't have anything else. This family drama was his whole life, his whole purpose. So he thought it was only right to pass on with everybody else then. 

But with you here now, he can't just leave you like that. Not as a single parent caring for Helpy! So you three can finally live that happily ever after without having to worry about any murderous animatronics or people in bunny suits again.

Saturn's Shadows

Saturn is associated with "the shadow", things that are unacceptable or unknown. One form of maturity the planet stands for is accepting, recognizing, or transforming "the shadow". "By accepting the despised qualities of the shadow, the soul becomes whole, free from fear and self-condemnation." - Judy Hall. Saturn in Aries: Impulsiveness, anger, competitiveness, and ego are all buzzwords that can be used to describe Saturn in Aries's "shadow" side. But there is a lot to look at in terms of empowerment and loss of power. Please remember Saturn in Aries may not always mean the individual has a bad temper, but that they may be greatly shaped by anger from others. Saturn in Aries can struggle with the sharpest sides of impulsiveness and foolhardiness. There can also be a great fear of acting with decisiveness, confidence, and action. They may have a complex relationship with their hotter, passionate side. I'm not very fond of Epic AUs where Odysseus adopts Astyanax.

It's fine for a one-off joke or comic and ofc this is just my opinion but... if Astyanax lives (like in Racine's play), he should always stay with Andromache. His actual mother, yk. Not with one of the men who sacked Troy. Zeus' prophecy is bound to happen and Odysseus knew keeping the infant around was a bad idea.

If Astyanax dies, I want to see him in Elysium with his father, finally in a peaceful place and having all of eternity to catch up. Then Andromache joins them (sending her to Asphodel would be too cruel) and they finally reunite.

Would anyone picture Neoptolemus adopting Astyanax ? The son of Achilles, who dragged Hector's body in a chariot. No ? So Achilles' associate doing the same would be weird.

And Odysseus ? I want him CRAVING for a son, waiting for so long until he can express his paternal affection (and always cursing Palamedes even after his revenge 😂).

Him meeting Telemachus all grown up should be his first real shot at fatherhood. It'd be underwhelming if he already had a little boy with him. If Telemachus has a little brother, Penelope should be the mother. Or they adopt another baby together afterwards. No Astyanax and ESPECIALLY NO TELEGONUS !

So yeah, imo Astyanax and Odysseus don't belong with each other. Any thought ?

I absolutely agree and you absolutely put into words WHY.

There's the term "woobifying" and in some cases...I think that's what people just often do with Epic/The Odyssey. (especially from Epic) I'm saying as someone who is a very soft and fluffy person. I love soft and sweet fics and ideas. I love stuff that makes me smile. But I almost feel as though with certain soft things, you're taking away what makes characters who they are. which DOESN'T make me smile lol

like I think there's more fun in simply a "no-war AU" than the "Astyanax lives AU" xD like, that way, Odysseus is with his family, gets to be a dad, Astyanax gets to live (let's not think too hard about how "no war may have meant no Astayanax")

As that way, they still get to be in character as well.

Penelope and Odysseus for example, are scallywags lol. They scheme and swindle. They giggle and kick their feet when they get extra cattle. They hold grudges. They can be snooty and prideful. They're as full of love as they are full of hate. Odysseus, during the Sack of Troy, in both the Odyssey AND Epic, will do whatever it takes to get home. Like yes, in Epic, Jay has it where Odysseus has to "become ruthless" but I can understand what he's doing with the narrative. Odyssey Odysseus? Um...Iphigenia is proof that Odysseus is already ruthless.

Btw, why is Astyanax the only one Odysseus would want to save with these AUs? What about Iphigenia? Is it because of Epic?

Yes, I DO think Odysseus (and Penelope for that matter) have a lot of parental instinct. I plan to write Odysseus carving lil wooden toys for random kids just as something to do. He does tricks. (ngl, while it seems they weren't around in the Mycenaean era, Yo-yos were a thing in ancient Greece. I just KNOW Odysseus would be the type to do so many tricks. (also string and wood🥹)) He has a soft spot for Greater Ajax's boy. My goober was friends with Menelaus and Agamemnon even before he met Penelope (he saw two exiled guys take back their kingdom and thought "hm??? vulnerable state??? They're very rich?? hehe >:3" but then became fond of them. The reason why he went to Sparta was to help Menelaus with Helen but fell in love himself.) and he's carved lil toys for Agamemnon's kids

He's carved lil Iphigenia toys. She likes Dolphins. He still helps sabotage the letter in some myths and even hypes up the crowd.

Even if it IS just based on Epic, "The Horse and The Infant" and "Just a Man" are HUGE turning points for Odysseus. Or even just a show of character. Like yes, "Odysseus is learning ruthlessness" but he already is ruthless. He literally says "I would trade the world to see my son and wife". AND HE STILL DOES THE DEED! HE WAS RUTHLESS SINCE THE BEGINNING! The Second song in the Musical and it already tells you about Odysseus and what he is willing to do. Is he sad and haunted? Yeah. Still did it.

And I really love that as that's Odyssey Odysseus as well! Odysseus isn't an unfeeling violent villain. He's just a man.

Also...What happens in the Odyssey is no fucking place for a child. ;~; The cyclops, the Goddesses, the monsters? Why should a lil boy be anywhere near that? How did he survive while drifting to Ogygia? Does Poseidon try to keep them together? As no one would be in the state to take care of each other together for that many days.

And in general, in the Odyssey, to me, it's such a huge thing that he literally lost EVERYONE. THAT HE IS ALL ALONE. All of the people who were with him are now dead, and there was nothing he could do. It was already fated.

It's horrible but there's something so poetic in him being the "Sole Survivor", especially after all the hell he went through.

Also yeah, I DO really hate the thought of Telemachus knowing "You took care of this baby when I needed you?". Like my OdyPen have a daughter after he returns as the whole "only one son" and that's already really hard for Telemachus to watch Odysseus be a father for her, regardless of how often and how adamantly Odysseus reassures him that Odysseus desperately wished to do the same with him.

Day 50

He clenched his jaw in uncertainty, glancing at the other then at the screens in front of him a couple of times before nodding, perhaps a little more clumsily than he would have liked and instantly thanking the impossibility of such a gesture to reach the ninja's dysfunctional eyes.

“Yeah, go on, suit yourself, hope you washed your hands.” He agreed, vocally this time, feigning nonchalance and pairing it with useless gestures that would go unnoticed.

Dororo looked pleased, that empty gaze brimming with patience sharing an indivisible smile.

“I can assure you that I take good care of my personal hygiene.” He spoke, beneath the mask, emphasizing the statement with both hands in the air.

Kururu held back the need to cackle, the verbal tic dying in his throat as he swallowed. He turned around in his spot, giving the taller frog free space to do his thing, intrigue and anxiety building up in his stomach, perfectly masked and with plenty of advantage.

“If you get to feel uncomfortable, I shall stop with just one word from you.” The ninja warned, getting closer to the technician with smooth, fluid movements.

“Ahhh… Safe word?”

“Uh… If you so desire then, yes.”

“Curry.”

“Very well-”

The Sergeant Major used every fiber of self control he had over his body at that moment to not jump when he felt a hand position itself on one side of his face, considerably colder than the rest of his body and yet abnormally smooth, a phantom touch gradually pressing against the skin. He wanted to swallow again but repressed it too, outlining further the permanent grimace on his face and fixing his attention on the concentrated expression of his partner, his own eyelids closed, brow barely furrowed.

He inhaled, it wasn't hard for him to be quiet, that's how he usually went through life. That's how he managed to scare unsuspecting morons who didn't detect his unnerving presence, and that was just yet another thing that united them both.

Still, the temptation to say something was almost unbearable, almost, he was bad at this kind of thing, he wasn't even entirely sure in which tone of the sociocultural spectrum of his universe or remotely anywhere around it could fall whatever was happening at that moment.

Dororo kept going anyhow, groping, cold phantasmagorical touch tracing the general shape of his face, (It wasn't like it was that hard.) running his fingers along the surface of his skin, at some point adding the opposite hand to the equation.

He could almost see the calculations running through the shinobi's brain, how he processed the new information, how he reacted to it, and he hated to admit that it made him uneasy too. So far Dororo had only heard his voice and a few descriptions of him, he had never let him lay a hand on him and it was more than justified. Nothing personal, he was just very reluctant to foreign contact. Reluctant to show himself to anyone in general, figuratively speaking. Letting himself be mapped by a blind ninja fell into the category of showing a certain level of vulnerability and that made him somewhat nervous.

Dororo ran his thumbs over a certain spot on his cheeks and massaged it a little, the slight movement of his brow rising indicating that he had noticed something. Kururu thought he knew what.

“I don't like them, people usually associate them with something cute.”

“Oh...?” The ninja was slow at getting towards a proper reaction. “Oh! Honestly, I find them unusual in the best of ways.”

Kururu clicked his tongue.

He moved on from that spot, even though he took his time there was a distant premeasured urgency in what he did, just starting to break out in a cold sweat. The technician noticed it and tilted his grin, feeling slight sympathy at their mutual nerves, somewhat amused by the strange intimacy of the situation.

He traced his lips relatively quickly, as if he had already came to terms with the fact that the mocking bite of his words was due to a habit of arching his mouth and only half-confirmed suspicions when he finished. Kururu considered the remote possibility of saying Curry.

He moved up to his eyes, slowly, giving him time to close his eyelids so as not hurt him accidentaly, Kururu moved forward and raised his glasses, letting them rest on the top of his head, held in place by the red cap he wore, he needed a break anyway.

“...You shouldn't have such an unfavorable sleep schedule.” He commented after a moment of inspection, thumbs placed on the heavy bags under his partner’s overly tired orbs.

“You’d be surprised what three days of being awake can do to a motherfucker.” The Sergeant mocked, chuckling to himself with one eye half open.

“We’ll discuss about it later.” His frown deepened, stern, though not annoyed.

“If you can get to remember, ku-ku-ku-”

Dororo shook his head, amused, continuing with his work.

He felt his superior’s face with his entire hand, several times, doing the same with the surroundings of his head, noticing the headphones, which explained a few more things.

He went down, groping, stroking, massaging, mentally drawing his partner's superior build and being rather pleased with what he kept discovering, such feeling spreading towards the happiness with the progress he was making with the yellow devil.

He knew Kururu, he knew what the people said about him, and he had experienced it first hand too; a brilliant misunderstood mind that enjoyed himself committing misdeeds, no matter how far fetched they tended to go, but as the interactions became more and more frequent between them, such only by fate, he not only discovered that there was more beneath the senseless chaos, but they both found out about the similarities between them and at the same time the abysmal difference in their personalities. They had his jabs here and there, a bit of psychological warfare, some gaslight, some failed attempts at moral instigation, some succeeded attempts at moral instigation, but they managed to get along either way.

He recalled for a moment the law of magnetism, more specifically the Sergeant's voice explaining said rule, and he couldn't help but smile.

He accidentally pinched the skin of the yellow frog’s stomach, instantly the unexpected reaction on the part of the shorter one being not only to squirm but to let out a short laugh against his will. He could have sworn he heard a messy try at pronouncing “curry” before his brief outburst.

“Ah, my apologies!” He quickly pulled both hands away, raising them defensively.

Kururu had shrunk into himself, cursing internally. He knew the reason why tickling happened, he was only giving himself away and could only hope that said nonsense would go unnoticed by the shinobi like almost everything else he did outside his non-existent vision.

He swallowed.

“... It’s okay.” He didn’t want to hear him apologize a thousand times.

He relaxed gradually, normalizing his breathing.

“Continue.”

Dororo nodded shortly, returning his phalanges to the scientist’s body. Soft, once again that phantom touch that was becoming more noticeable as it moved along his arms. Kururu wondered for a moment if it was necessary to be memorizing the shape of his extremities, and in general anything other than his face, but decided not to give comments on it.

It kept sending shivers down his spine with every patch of skin that wasn’t used to the contact, which was practically all of him, and he hated it, blaming it entirely to the physical reactions he had absolutely no control over and making more excuses the more scenarios he came up with.

Another deep breath helped him normalize his heartbeat, trying with all his might to not show even a pinch of reaction to the crushing reality of his touch-starved self, a fact he lived trying to push under absolute denial and his in fact very true hatred and discomfort for the physical.

Dororo, to his luck, seemed to remain oblivious to all of this, perhaps unable to understand said affliction, too clumsy to read the room as usual or perhaps too noble to decide not to comment on it.

“You’re… very tense.”

“I’mnot.”

“I can… stop, if that’s what you want.”

“I’mfine.”

Concern settled on the shinobi's features, his eyes opening completely, showing those expressionless pearls that still found a way to shine through his blooming emotions, giving himself away like an open book. Or at least a book only readable by someone with an exceptional ability to analyze other people.

“... Curry?”

“... Yes.”

“Very well…”

He politely withdrew, taking some distance.

Kururu let out the air he didn't know he had been holding. The glasses fell into place.

He practically deflated in his seat, taking advantage once again of not being visible to other’s eyes.

That had been intense and he had no idea why.

“Have I done something wrong?”

“No…”

“I can leave if-”

“No.”

He remained silent, they both did.

Although their long pauses were characterized by not being uncomfortable as both had a certain taste for the lack of sound, now the same stillness seemed suffocating, more so for the yellow sociopath.

“... Did ya get what'cha wanted?” He lazily spoke.

“Oh, yes, indeed, and I thank you deeply for the opportunity.”

“Good.”

And there it was again.

The Sergeant Major bit his lower lip, hard, longing to make himself bleed and take advantage for the umpteenth consecutive time that he couldn't see him. But it would be annoying to clean up afterwards and he was pretty sure that Dororo could smell blood.

He'd gone and done it several times, reminded him of a hound even. Maybe it was pretty obvious if he thought about it for a bit.

Sometimes he can't help but wonder what things are like for him. Like sure he has trouble seeing because he has like eighteen thousand degrees of myopia, but he knows it's not the same thing.

“... Do you smell colors?”

“I beg your pardon?”

“Forget it. I was thinking about what I would do if I plucked my eyes out, kuukukukuku-”

“Oh god…” he paused briefly to grimace before processing. “… Were you pondering what it feels like to lack vision?”

“… Sorta."

“I could teach you if you like.”

“You ain't going to pluck my eyes out, shinobi.”

“Good grief, no! I would never commit such an atrocity!”

“Kuuukukukukuku-”

“I mean it!”

“I’m fuckin’ with you, don’t let it keep you awake… What'chu got in mind?”

“Ah…” The ninja pouted, indivisible as ever, before standing up. “Do you happen to have a way to make the place completely dark?”

Kururu already knew where this was going. He thought about it for a few beats.

“Aye.”

He turned back on his chair, then skillfully pressed a series of buttons to write the necessary command, a small confirmation screen materializing on the board that soon disappeared when he pressed the “accept @u@” box next to the “I messed up @m@” one.

A distinctive sound took out all the lights in the place, which, being reinforced and thousands of meters underground, managed to remain completely dark.

“Haven’t done this since that time some idiot snuck in. I think he’s still lost on level G8, kukuku-”

Dororo refused to inquire about that.

“Perfect, now, can you see my hand?”

The Sergeant tried to turn to where he thought the ninja was, obviously failing in the attempt, though not by far.

“No.”

“Can you get up and follow my voice?”

“‘K”

And he tried.

Surrounded by nothing but darkness, he reached out for his partner, muscle memory keeping him from colliding with the scattered scrap metal and other irregularities on the ground.

“Keep talkin’.”

“I’m over here.”

Was it only him, or did he seemed farther away now?

“When one of your senses has abandoned you, the most important thing is-”

“Sharpen the others, blah blah blah, I know, I’ve heard that crap a lot.”

“...”

An unfamiliar hand gave him a small push and disappeared before he could turn around and return the gesture.

Funny.

He was tempted to activate some function on his hearing aids or even his glasses, but they were doing this peculiar activity for a reason, so instead he closed his eyes and tried to concentrate.

Dororo was fast, skilled, too much so for someone who can’t see, however his footsteps and movements sometimes followed a certain pattern, as well as making a sound, very barely perceptible, but it was there, it was like hearing a leaf stick to your face, if that made any sense.

But now he couldn't see, and he didn't know very well where it started either, so the best he could do was guess.

Or listen to what he told him for the first time in his life.

"I think you're cheating."

"Often what you throw can come back to hit you in the face, sir."

"Are you still upset about that time I left you in my mind and forgot about it?"

"N-No-...!"

Kururu smiled, his head turning gravitationally towards Dororo's almost exact direction.

"I should be the upset one, I'm almost sure you saw things you shouldn't have seen..."

“I disagree, that experience allowed me to know that you are a Keronian and not an Oni born from the agony and misfortune of others!”

“That’s where you’re wrong, Doro…”

The ninja felt a chill run down his spine, and before he could respond to Kururu’s provocations two unknown hands grabbed him by the shoulders from behind and pulled towards that direction.

“I am.” Kururu mumbled, gruffier than usual, before giving him a small push and letting go.

If he didn’t know who was there and what they were playing, Dororo would probably have died of a heart attack right on the spot. He put a hand on his chest.

“...Well played.”

The technician's peculiar nasal laugh echoed around the place, as if being cast through speakers, even though he was standing in the same place. He considered the possibility that perhaps he was an Oni born from the agony and misfortune of others.

Freaky.

“So? What did I won?” The yellow frog asked, mockingly.

There was no answer.

“…I won?”

“You did.”

Two familiar hands positioned themselves on either side of his face, immediate panic setting in on the technician’s currently invisible features.

“Hah!?” He practically spat, alarms ringing and bursting inside his head.

He felt an alien breath inches away from him, all of his senses began to sharpen and he feared the allegory as much as the assumption. He froze under the trained assassin’s cold touch, and for some reason the possibility of saying “curry” didn’t even crossed his mind.

He found himself leaning in before he could command his body to do so, and before he could literally process anything they both connected.

Kururu's mind was buzzing, pure interference mixed with confused and incomplete sensations, all amidst an endless darkness that would remain that way until he staggered to the switch, if he could manage to find it.

They parted, one as stiff as a board left for weeks in an industrial freezer and the other melting from embarrassment, his palms sweaty and his face uncovered.

“cool.” they said in unison, both grateful that eye contact was a near-permanent impossibility.

And a new kind of silence settled in.

It was neither comforting nor unpleasant, much less one they actively fought to combat but neither one they would endure for long.

Kururu cleared his throat, Dororo coughed.

“I’m going to assume that was the… touch lesson, or… some….”

“The what?”

“You know, senses, contact.”

“Ah, yes… AH, yes! Precisely!”

“Well… I think I want to retake the test, didn’t get to study very well, kuukukuku-”

“I shall gladly impart this lesson again.”

Dororo gave a small bow, which was surprisingly caught by Kururu.

And so they kissed in the dark for the next two hours.

My work as a witch has begun to shape out as involving things that others fear and reject. I personally find this hilarious considering that I used to be so scared of everything.

I work with Persephone, Hades, Medusa, my familiar, Loki, Apollo, Aphrodite, and Khaos. They appeared to me in that order, with Aphrodite and Khaos being fairly recent additions as I'm typing this. (5/12/24) Note that this is a list of EVERYONE I work with at all, and some of them (like Medusa) only rarely show up in my life currently while others are more active.

as fixed signs, aquarius, scorpio, leo and taurus all think they're right in a major way and they are not willing to listen and learn, babe. a cardinal sign square or grand cross is very "i will turn this car around." a mutable grand cross is full ass lost. meanwhile fixed signs are stalled out at a random intersection bc they all want to go in different directions and they will not compromise. they're just sat there giving each other the silent treatment, for hours.

there's an intellectual vibe to the 11th--it's associated with aquarius--so mingi probably has the ability to remove his emotions in certain situations in order to focus on his goals and making decisions and the bigger picture

Southern Mc with a little Trauma

A/N: as someone who grew up in southern U.S. in a Christian home with their Grandparents and getting religious trauma just to have ended up Bi with pronouns, this is very self indulgent.

It was just a plain day in the HOL, except quieter until Lucifer started yelling at Mammon for the usual bullshit. Mc stayed silent but eventually couldn’t handle it. 

Mc in a heavily southern accent: “Listen hear you Motherfuckers! ain’t you got anything better to do than scream at each other like a damn banshee?!

Everyone paused and stared at Mc as they had never heard them use an accent before, they didn’t even know that Mc was southern

He had no clue you had an accent

The file he got only said where you currently lived, not where you grew up

He stops arguing with Mammon and doesn’t bring it up.

After dinner he calls you into his office to ask a few questions.

Lucifer: “Mc, can you please explain why you never use your accent?”

Mc: “W-well… umm”

Lucifer: “Mc”

Mc: “Well my grandmother always used a southern accent and I don’t want to associate myself with her. People also automatically assume that because I am south I am homophobic”

Lucifer: “Oh… well feel free to use around us Mc, we won’t judge you for having an accent”

Lucifer won’t bring it up again unless you bring it up

He knows Southerners can be extremely religious so he assumed it was that because for him it was like “yeah same”

He finds it amusing whenever you accidentally use southern terms such as “Skeeters” and “ternaders”

His first reaction is to laugh

Mc may have done impressions for him before so he’ll ask you to sound like southern characters and maybe want you to do a few cosplays

Most of the songs I have on there can fall into a few categories, there's a lot of stuff so let's see if I can list them out, uhhh...

Songs that reflect his mental state and the way the acts, why he does things, what he's actually thinking underneath, things like that. (Some examples of those I'd say are like, My ugly, Puppet loosely strung, Noel's lament, The view from halfway down, One big beautiful sound, and many others that I can't list or else we'll be here all day.) Most of those songs end up being from musicals, because musical songs are really meant for showing character and that works great for my purposes. Also they're quite jazzy and swing-y for lack of a better term, which I think it fits him pretty well!

Pining and breakup songs, because holy shit look at him. You cannot tell me this man hasn't had like, so many people that he pines for or had a crush on at some point. *Slaps trunk of car* this bad boy can fit so many unrequited crushes in him. RM to me is the kind of guy that gets crushes very easily and very fast, and the worst thing is they're pretty genuine! He's just, terrible at commitment and honestly uses romance to not have to think about the parts of his life that he doesn't want, so he puts all his self worth into romance specifically. I'm going to squish him.

Songs that just generally fit his vibes to me tbh? I have at least a few instrumentals in there, and they give me him thoughts so I put them in. It's fun to imagine him being stupid and goofy and dancing tango (I still wanna animate that someday)

Usually, a song will definitely fit these categories, but it's also very VERY common that I will just, grab a song and streeeecth it meaning wise so it can fit in his playlist because I already liked that song before and I like my blorbo being associated with one of my favorite songs. Venus square Neptune in a natal chart has always been very interesting to me. Most people would describe it as someone who had the propensity to become delusional in love, or romantically deceptive. However, I’ve found that these people often give other people the benefit of the doubt, to their own detriment. Individuals with this placement, often want to see the best in people (both romantically and platonically), and thus they frequently find themselves drawn to people who need help in some way. There could be a person who is widely known as “bad news”, but an individual with Venus square Neptune in their charts is likely to still give them a chance, or go against their better judgement. This aspect gives people a tremendous amount of compassion, but it can also put someone in really unfavorable associations.

If you have Venus square Neptune in synastry with someone (2 degrees or less), you may find yourself drinking, smoking, or ‘partying’ a lot with this person. Neptune represents illusions, escapism, and it is often linked to addictions/mind altering substances. Alternatively, you may find that this is the setting in which you two met! At a party, or whilst you were doing something that can be described as “Neptunian”. It can also be that you met near water! At the beach, by a lake etc… I’ve actually seen this happen on very many occasions.

If you have the ruler of your 7th house placed in your 11th, you are likely to meet long-term partners through friends, social media, or anything that involves philanthropy/humanitarianism. Your long-term partner may actually be someone you were friends with for a long time, or perhaps you meet them through mutual friends. A project that involves “large groups” of people can also be how you meet your long-term partner.

I personally attract 8th house Synastry to me, like a moth to a flame. Nevertheless, I prefer it to 12th house synastry, as I’m never on the same page as the people I have 12th house synastry with. But anyway, something I just recently came to realize; is there’s a huge difference in terms of how I felt when it comes to Venus in 8th house synastry, and Mars in the 8th house synastry. When it came to having someone’s Venus in my 8th house, I genuinely felt that they were attracted to me and found me beautiful (even if there were no major aspects between their personal planets and my Ascendant). However, when someone’s Mars fell in my 8th house, I felt as if it was more of a sexual attraction and lust! I didn’t necessarily feel like they found me attractive beyond a sexual infatuation. Of course you may have a completely different experience if someone has their mars in your 8th, AND their Venus making a conjunction to your Ascendant. But I feel as if 8H Mars synastry has the propensity to feel very superficial or “icky” for lack of a better word, if it is not supported by other aspects that indicate a genuine attraction.

Venus square Mars in synastry can manifest as a “one night stand”. This aspect is actually common in the synastry between people who are having affairs. If this aspect is not supported by positive Saturn aspects, it can indicate a very steamy but very brief romance.

Uranus in the 7th house of a composite chart, can point to an “on-again-off again” relationship.

If you have the asteroid “Nessus” in the 11th house, you may find that you attract ‘friends’ who harbor deep resentments towards you. Any type of malefic in the 11th house makes maintaining and and attracting genuine friendships quite difficult.

Transit Pluto squaring, opposing, or making a conjunction to your natal Venus, can indicate a time in which you are attracting intense and transformative relationship experiences. You may consider yourself to be quite laid back and non-reactive. However, when these transits occur you may find yourself feeling things more deeply. Jealousy, possessiveness, obsession, and power struggles are all characteristic of these transits. Sometimes, you may actually attract people (especially lovers) who have disting scorpionic/plutonic characteristics. You may find yourself acting in ways that are uncharacteristic of your true nature.

Mars dominant women may find that they have a lot of male friends, or perhaps they resonate with energies that are more “masculine”.

Ceres aspects in synastry, can show how we nurture the other, and how they nurture us. If you have aspects between ceres & mercury, that can indicate a great deal of mental and intellectual nurturing between two people. If your ceres aspects another persons ascendant, you may feel the need to nurture them physically, or literally protect them. When it comes to this synastry, trines and sextiles are preferred! The hard aspects can actually indicate a lack of nurturing between two people.
