I saw people attacking Anna Lundberg on Insta and here today, complaining "about the way she treats him". I think this is really unfair and I wanted to talk about why.

People were talking about how Anna had titled her collection of images with a few words "puppies, summer, trolls ..." Someone people decided that she was calling Michael a troll. Anna is Swedish and in Sweden trolls are pretty important folk stories. Included in the images were forest pictures, an great place to find trolls. Anna and Michael are grown ups in a grown up relationship and Michael can walk if he isn't happy about how Anna is talking about him. As fans it's none of our business to police their relationship. Anna would be quite justified to take her account private because I imagine she and Michael don't need this nonsense. I watched the pile on on David on the weekend by TERFs on Twitter. Fortunately David Tenant isn't on twitter but no doubt it was rough on him and Georgia regardless.

it's not ok for people to bully David and Georgia for imaginary reasons or for people to attack or bully Anna on her soc med feeds for whatever they believe. Obviously the scale is different but please be grown up. Whatever you think of Michael, he is an actor and not the person you imagine he is. He is also an adult who makes his own decision about relationships. He and Anna chose each other. Respect this. After I had written this I went back to Insta and Anna has replied.

hey everyone - i know there’s a lot going on in the world right now, a lot of causes that need support and visibility now more than ever.

i’d like to take an opportunity to highlight a cause that’s very literally close to home for me: i live very, very close to springfield, ohio. the haitian community there has always needed help and support but now, with white supremacist rhetoric and bold faced lies being circulated nationally, with threats of violence and heightened ignorance being more common than ever, they need it perhaps more than they ever have.

there has been a lot of hate since trump and his little bootlicker attack dog jd vance have started this shit, but there’s also been an outpouring of love and community outreach in the weeks since springfield was thrust into the worst kind of spotlight.

the hatian community support and help center has been invaluable in helping hatian refugees get what they need to start a new life here. they are headed by a team of haitian immigrants that are personally familiar with what their fellow immigrants need. they have been instrumental in keeping their community from falling through the cracks.

Ok a line has been crossed and I am not ok with it on any level. Trolling is never ever ok.

After one of them made a comment on my correctly tagged post (now blocked and reported) they have clearly made a post about it with my url @‘d and as a result I have just had my inbox spammed by over 30 (and climbing) bt stans on anon telling me my url is offensive and they they hope I and Eddie get stage 4 terminal cancer so my url will actually be a relevant reference to something.

The originator was clearly looking to cause trouble by coming into the anti tags after the episode.

I am fully aware the people who actually need to see this won’t but saying that to anyone regardless of ship or fandom or anything is seriously hideous behaviour and it’s not ok.

It makes it very clear they are new to the 911 fandom and have never seen any bts stuff pre s7 especially related to Eddie. For those who don’t know stage four Eddie diaz is a reference to a post Ryan made about Eddie’s new haircut and job going into 5b (Eddie’s breakdown era).

Regardless of that that is an awful thing to wish on a character on a show. That is wishing death on them.

But the biggest and most problematic part of it all is the wishing terminal cancer or any stage of cancer for that matter on someone - a real life human being who opens up their inbox and sees those messages.

A real life human being who may be affected by cancer in their real not online life. A real person who might be enjoying an escape from the reality of cancer and cancer treatment through fandom.

I don’t have cancer but I did loose my mother to cancer when I was 18. It’s not something I would wish on my worst enemy.

The entire thing has left me feeling upset. Fandom is supposed to be a safe and enjoyable space if you cannot respect other peoples opinions and ships then maybe don’t engage with fandom.

They won’t win - I’m made of stronger stuff then that but I cannot let it go without saying anything more widely because who knows what others are getting in their inboxes that might have an impact on their mental health and well-being.

Sadly, the Esland Awards have been an event with a history of much controversy, a lot of division, and a lot of divisions within the community, and as you guys know, as you know, my content has never been characterized by seeking controversy or divisions or anything like that. It's for this exact reason that I don't want to be involved with these awards.

In advance, I ask the organizers of any type of events and projects like this to please show more respect to me and my community, because I've shown lots of sympathy and cooperation in these various projects and events, but it's become clear to me that their only interest is in using my name. So there is as a lot of rumors etc going on yesterday people attacking others. Some type of information should never be shared. Pap pictures sometime cross lines. So if it's a photograph or where someone lives then no it should never be shared with the masses. Do I think L and N are spending time together? yes. Y'all do realize a lot has happened in the last year. What both of them have gone through is unimaginable! They played these characters and their personal feelings bled into the characters. They were confused and made decisions based on those feelings. And I'm sure based on the professionals help. They need time to work through all their crap. Also just be aware i truly think we won't know when things are happening and honestly if it's better for them to be private until they are stronger then why would we as fans need to know. Clearly a lot going down BTS enough was dropped that we should all know that. Just let's give them time they need to clear the air.

It's been VERY toxic in the fandom this week, and a LOT has gone down this week that I have not enjoyed/been happy with related to how the fandom has been interacting/consuming information.

WE NEED TO GIVE L/N PRIVACY. EVERYONE INVOLVED. NONE OF US KNOW THEM. INCLUDING ME. A lot of this is just my theories based on what I observe.

It's alright to speculate and theorize on publicly available information on what might be going on in smaller spaces like this. It is NOT alright though to invade people's privacy and jeopardize their safety. We need to just let them cook y'all, and see what happens. We'll get answers EVENTUALLY.

I also agree that L has probably been spending more time with N since the Italy bday trip. He's very likely going through a messy untanglement/breakup, POSSIBLY a fallout with R (one of his oldest friends), POSSIBLY trying to figure stuff out with N, going through a LOT psychologically, and L/N are CONSTANTLY being analyzed/watched now. That has to be a LOT. We need to just give them space to figure their lives out.

Would I love to have concrete evidence that L/N are together now and cozied up at her house. Of course! It would make my heart so happy to know these two were able to get on the same page. HOWEVER, I DO NOT WANT this announcement to come from anyone but L/N themselves, and ON THEIR OWN TIME! Remember what happened with Tomdaya... And Tom said how unhappy they were that people couldn't just respect their privacy and they were FORCED to publicly acknowledge their relationship. I'm worried that we are headed in that direction potentially with L/N, and it makes me very disheartened.
