OHH i love twin snakes [mgs2 alternate take]

Ive mentioned it before but real quickly the main gist of it is the 'terrorist leader solid snake' is. actually solid snake & not solidus (and also liquid is there because i like him. he and liquid have the worlds funnest dynamic and it only exist in hayter and clarke's christmas specials) and what this basically does is put dead cell in the roll of protagonists AND i dont know how or why but it like. just has the pieces fall into place real nicely real easily for me. Kind of puts solidus in the position old snake is in 4 and using the power suit to try and keep up. Fortune is the leader of deadcell in original mgs2 so we kind of see a passing of baton in ts. deadcell is just super fun in this in general imagine for a second if you will fatman on the protagonist side its SUPER fun

mm lets see lets see. the twins i think at first put on an intimidating front but then when sunny's with them and its just the two of them its full on two siblings beating the shit out of eachother energy yknow how it is. I havent thought tooo much about every single timeline difference that would have gotten us here bc honestly its not too important i dont think all thats important is for whatever reason snake is more bb pilled unfortunately but i will say that the glasses liquid have here is kaz's :]

#like lmao okay #play the game however you want (genuinely if you enjoy this idea more power to you and i hope you have fun telling the story u want)#but imo it is suchhhh a fundamental misunderstanding of one of the most interesting parts of his character #lucanis isn't some kind of super-being there's only so much a person can have on their plate at once #and after being imprisoned and tortured for a year + his grandmother being murdered + his home being BLIGHTED #this man doesn't have the mental energy for a romance with someone he just met (who left him when he needed them)#and its TRAGIC. and its REALISTIC. and its COOL.#and its a great moment of character agency #bc while the player may have freedom of choice those choices have CONSEQUENCES #and like okay hardened!Neve can still be romanced but she's in a *much* better place mentally -#- and so minrathous being sacked is like her first blow #while sacking Treviso for Lucanis is like kicking a dying dog #what i'm saying is that locking the player out of his romance is an incredible realistic consequence of this choice #and imo it really misses the point to just. remove it.#that's why even though he has lines for it in the files they're not in the GAME #bc (presumably) the writers realized it wouldn't be in-character #anyway. turning of rbs for this bc i just wanna be salty #and not squash anyone's (ultimately harmless) fun #datv #marie speaks #datv spoilers

should i sleep for a hundred million years or purposefully stop sleeping just to see what happens

#i have slept 2 hours and haven’t been able to fall asleep again for like 3 hours and i was really tired and mad abt it but now i am not #tired and not mad abt it so maybe the path i should be taking is to stop sleeping. sleeping a lot gives me little energy and i’ve been #having trouble sleeping anyway so maybe i should use this to my advantage and run my little sleep deprivation experiment that i was #originally planning to do a couple years back but then got sooo eepy sleepy that i didn’t really get far. but maybe that’s bc i wanted to #go 72 hours straight w/o sleep so i could record my response to it. i should be more subtle i think. maybe only a few hours a night #and more 30 hour waking periods. do not listen to a single thing i say ever i’m an unreliable narrator btw. i think i could trigger smth #fun to happen i:m a good age for sleep deprivation to do something fun and interesting to me and i want to play god #but i’d get kinda sad being awake all the time bc sleeping is like my number one coping mechanism. then again the pain of losing #that on top of the physical and mental consequences of sleep deprivation would be like so cool. it would pain me so much #but i find that compelling. do not listen to a single word i say i will realize this is dumb later but rn i do kinda want to think abt #running my little experiments and trying to ruin myself further. i’m such a good thing to think abt experimenting on bc i’m so affected #by things i just wish i had more force of will Does anyone want to kidnap me and keep me awake for 72 hours (i’m thinking electrocution #will be involved) and keep notes i fear i’d give up and i wouldn’t keep good enough track of things which would be so sad #obvi it would be unethical but i’m cool w that. i would also want it all on camera for review purposes. hmm i’m digging this idea. 72 hours #is not very long and i doubt there would be lasting consequences so it seems like a good idea. however i’d want to do this when i have #things to keep me busy and restricted access to places to sleep. okay i must think on this further pay no mind to what i say unless u have #suggestions like how to keep yourself from giving in bc i always have difficulty w that one

So many men think they’re owed a woman’s time, attention, intimacy, etc and it has brought on so much violence that women have had to undergo

#if u haven’t heard there’s this man or various men who go around randomly punching women on the streets of nyc #this isn’t news per se bc it’s happened in the past #but several women have gone on social media to talk about their experiences #violence against women has always existed in our society #and nothing concrete or substantial has been done to teach men to treat women with respect #also the increased growth of the incel movement or however u want to call it plays a huge role in this violence #and those who are part of that movement view hyper-sexual women as less than or as sl*ts #or women who date frequently or have casual s*x in the same group as being deserving of that violence #there’s also boy group chats and ya know guys who have lots of male friends #they sort of get comfortable with sharing misogynistic jokes and comments #and this is why some men don’t bother stepping in when a woman is being harrassed on the street #cuz they subconsciously think she deserves it cuz she must sleep around right?#wrong; all women are deserving of respect regardless of who they are and what they do with their time #teach your sons and brothers and friends and students to show respect towards everyone but especially women bc we do live in a patriarchal-#society that is gradually taking away women’s rights #and the majority of women don’t feel safe the moment they leave their homes #thoughts

i'm gonna throw up computers are so complicated bro

#ended up tag rambling dont open this unless u want to read me complaining👎#through a series of events parents got me a new laptop for christmas that i was not expecting #which is appreciated on some level. however. i have heard bad things abt windows 11 so im looking into linux #and its just. there is so much information and i am like a little baby who knows nothing about compsci #and it really doesnt help that i also have very specific hardware wants (2 in 1 laptop that turns into a tablet for drawing)#so everything is more complicated and it sounds like i'd have to download extra stuff for it to even function well #and all my files and games and stuff are currently on windows and i'd have to port it all over #and my main drawing software doesnt even have a linux version #so i'd have to like download a separate program or an emulator if i want even a chance to keep using it #and i do not handle change well and it is making me tired and stressed just thinking about all this #and to top it all off the laptop that they did get me sounds like it might not play the best with linux so i think im gonna exchange it #but that also means i have to figure out what laptop i want to even get before the return window ends on the 14th #and i am just. everytime i play awakening normally im always stuck between two cordelia pairings and its usually gaius or frederick and at that point it just boils down to whether or not i want severa to have a semi happy home life

#freudian slips #i normally prefer cordelia with gaius not only bc i love gaius!severa #but i j think theyre cute :)#their support is def on the simpler side but like i think theyre quite cute #bias bc they were my first ever awakening pairing + theyre both among my fav of awakening gen 1 #cordys probably like right behind maribelle stahl and olivia and gaius is not too far behidn #but yeag :) like em a lot. cuties #HOWEVER #i also really enjoy how frederick/cordelia’s support can contribute to severa’s whole plot line #on their own i dont really dig em very much BUT THE S SUPPORT CRAZYYYY #ITS HORRIBLE BUT ITS ALSO SO GOOD BC HUHHHHHHH #bc WHAT DO U MEAN SHE GOES ‘well i have the same feelings for you but theyre for chrom’ HUH??#AND HE JUST GOES WITH IT??#FREDERICK GET UP!!!!
