Destination: Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines
Tumblr media
From July 2022 to August 2023, I worked as General Counsel for a local conglomerate. Apart from their office in the Metro, they also had operations in Zamboanga del Norte. The nature of my work necessitated visits to Zamboanga every two (2) months just to make sure that the legalities of the operations are in place.
Zamboanga del Norte is a a province in the Philippines located in the northern part of the Zamboanga Peninsula in Mindanao. Its culture is diverse and primarily influenced by the Spanish colonization. It is rich in history and natural beauty. I experienced so many great things there.
I ventured out at sea overnight in different boats and went back to shore in a yacht. While at sea, I experienced the dark of the night until the fishermen started hauling a huge catch of sardines (the entire process took about 45 minutes). I ate a simple feast of freshly caught fish prepared by the same fishermen. I slept in the best room of the boat and was awakened by my friends to see the playful dolphin swimming near us and showing us tricks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I swam the clear waters of Bolong Beach. I went to the Canelar barter and bought local goodies as well as goodies imported from Malaysia. I went to food parks and dined in good restaurants. I ate the famous knickerbocker, the ube cake from Purple Yam, and delicious crabs in Alavar sauce. I went to tourist places like Fort Pilar. Best of all, I cultivated friendships with some of the kindest, warmest people I know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I haven't gone back since I left the conglomerate in August 2023. But to me, Zamboanga will always be my "adoptive probinsya."

FOLLOW-UP REPORT with THIS JUST IN: 'IShowSpeed' teases final 3rd Day in South East Asia tour, while visiting Day 2 in GenSan with 'Manny Pacquiao' outplays to 2-0 in Mini-Exhibition Home Boxing and Friendly Chess Match [#OneNETnewsEXCLUSIVE]
Tumblr media
(Written by Rhayniel Saldasal Calimpong / Freelanced News Writer, Online Media Reporter and News Presenter of OneNETnews)
GENERAL SANTOS, SOUTH COTABATO -- Continuing the South East Asia tour, following after the first trip on Day 1 in 'Bonifacio Global City, Taguig' as one Ohio-native variety and veteran male YouTuber 'IShowSpeed', whose real name as 'Mr. Darren Jason Watkins Jr.' goes to General Santos City in South Cotabato of Mindanao region, setting to face off a highly anticipated mini-exhibition match and friendly chess match against retired boxing legend and former congressional senator "Mr. Manny Dapidran 'PacMan' Pacquiao", embarking on its way to its disclosed resident place.
Starting off first for the night, massive crowds on locals were extremely crazy of excitement on Thursday night (September 12th, 2024). He explored personally at a local night market, where he bought a cheap and unlicensed 'One Piece' anime shirt for PHP300 (approximately U$D5.40). Then, he pay a visit at the basketball court and passing by on-foot, to the famous fast-food chain 'Mang Inasal'.
On his way in 'Pendatun Avenue', he immediately tried 'balut' from a street vendor (a traditional Filipino delicacy consisting of fertilised chicken eggs that are eaten from the shells) on this same night. After bravely eating the balut egg, IShowSpeed is taking a short police escort to the van, and on its way to the Pacquiao's mansion.
During the Philippine trip in online broadcasting, the YouTube LIVE broadcast experienced occasional lags every few to several minutes at a time, since he was travelled from Mindanao, likely due to poor internet service in the area, which affected the live feed quality in some telcos like Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) and Smart Communications as an example, for those having Pocket WiFi(s) or mobile data with subscription promos.
Quarter minutes later from driving, IShowSpeed recently arrived at a luxurious mansion of Mr. Manny Dapidran 'PacMan' Pacquiao, which boasts a private karaoke theater, expensive vehicles, and even, he owned a basketball court, where you can play your local basketball teams in South Cotabato. His collaboration with Pacquiao marks a significant highlight of the night. The family groups of 'Team Pacquiao' are on tour for a male American variety and veteran YouTuber, which currently featured on this video-sharing platform (owned by Google's Alphabet).
Mr. Pacquiao is an 8-Division World Boxing Champion, who has been retired from professional boxing since late-September 2021, and in politics for his congressional senate role since late-June 2022, but is still active in various exhibition matches and philanthropic activities. He adds a new sporting role for basketball alone. The decision to spar with 'IShowSpeed', fascinated both the world of boxing and that of YouTube as online fans witnessed the action at home.
In front of over 200,000 live viewers on YouTube, IShowSpeed faced Pacquiao in a mini-exhibition match. During this encounter, Pacquiao floored him down twice for a knockout: once with a playful punch to the arm and another time during their sparring session. The duo also engaged in a friendly chess match to end its mini-exhibition night, using his own leather chess board from the retired boxer, leaving Pacquiao won with a checkmate. Final result overall is 2 for Pacquiao and 0 for IShowSpeed. The american variety YouTuber and retired pro-boxer later sat down elsewhere in the house and ate balut.
Before the stream ended, within several minutes before 10pm, since he was started exactly at 6:45pm (GenSan local time)… IShowSpeed visited the local Jollibee store (a popular fast-food chain in the country), here in 'National Land Settlement Administration Road' in 'National Highway corner Nisa Road, Barangay Lagao', this said city and province. He critically commented on our news team that he is better than Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
As he concluded on Day 2 in Philippine trip… IShowSpeed announced exclusively to OneNETnews, his upcoming plans at Day 3 to either visit Davao City in Mindanao region, or heading last in the Visayas region in Bacolod City, Dumaguete City (Negros Island Region for both Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental), Cebu City or Siquijor; shortly after reaching 29.5 million subscribers. If didn't push through on Day 3, he is moving along early to its next country to travel, as part of the South East Asia tour.
Because of this, it was due to extremely insisted public demand and requesting online fans or in-person that warns all the Cebuano people with a heartfelt plea to remain calm to ensure smoother live streaming and online broadcasting with respect: "So, I love you all boys, I love the Philippines, I appreciate to you all. But when I come back, please just chill and tone it down, so I can actually stream it LIVE. I love your energy but, just to be chill first and listen, when I tell your stuff", IShowSpeed concluded.
General Santos Mayor named 'Ms. Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao' acknowledged that IShowSpeed came to Mindanao to support local authorities with medium-rare security and crowd control; adding an official stamp to his quite memorable Philippine journey on Day 2.
As IShowSpeed prepares to spend his 3rd final day in the country, speculations have turned to where the trip will head next, be it to another Philippine city or another country, along his Southeast Asian tour tomorrow on Friday the 13th (September 13th, 2024). Philippines' visit has entertained millions of viewers, and at the same time, has showcased the warm Filipino hospitality and experience waiting for all, who were travelled himself in the country.

The interview we did last August 30, 2024, was a great experience since we interacted with a great owner and managers. The first manager we interviewed was from Yellow Cab Corporation. The company was founded in 2000, and he was assigned as a branch manager 2 years ago. We learned during his interview that as a manager you should always check your co-workers if they are fine, from this your co-workers will be motivated to work in your company and for him, treating his co-workers as family is a key to gaining their respect.
Tumblr media
The second company we interviewed was Sunburst, which was founded on August 17,2017. This company has 14 branches only from Visayas and Mindanao. Sunburst has demonstrated tremendous flexibility, especially during the COVID-19 epidemic. The introduction of delivery services via third party apps and in house individuals helped to sustain the business while also providing extra revenue options for employees. When the Centrio Ayala branch closed, attention turned to the Limketkai location, which was better suited to takeout and delivery. Sunburst expanded marketing efforts in slower months like August and September to accommodate seasonal swings and natural disasters such as flooding.
Tumblr media
Hube Computer Store, founded in 2017 by Kevin Patrick Sabang Agravante, has established itself as a leader in the IT business in Cagayan de Oro, Northern Mindanao. With a modest start-up capital of 200,000 pesos and only two employees, Kevin and his brother Popot, the family-owned business has expanded swiftly, now operating four branches around Mindanao. The moniker "Hube," which comes from the Greek term for "wise man," represents the company's commitment to providing clever, customer-focused IT solutions. Overall, she just said what was Hube all about and too shy to share about her leadership to us.
Tumblr media
We interviewed the manager of the fourth company which is Yuri's Coffee Roaster. Yuri's Coffee Roaster launched on August 17, 2021, amid the pandemic. Named after the owner's son, Yuri, the café has a family-oriented foundation and tries to provide a comfortable location for families and groups. The proprietors were motivated by their frequent visits to various coffee shops and wanted to establish a friendly place for shared times over coffee. The café opened with four employees: two baristas and two cashiers. They are currently struggling in their slow market according to her they have had so many competitors since CDO became the coffee shop capital of the Philippines, after all of that, they become consistent with their products because it is the thing that makes them memorable for the customer.
Tumblr media
We interviewed the owner of our fifth company interview, which is Lifeline Coffee Brewers. Lifeline Coffee Brewers officially debuted on August 9, 2022, but its history dates back far further. The founders are Dan Matthew Tan and Elysa Mae Go-Tan. Their journey began in college, with a love of coffee and food. What began as a hobby in 2019, involving barista training has evolved into a full-fledged company. Despite delays due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Lifeline Coffee Brewers stood out as a monument to their tenacity and dedication. What I've learned from his experience is that, if we open a business don't stick with the cheaper price products because the risk is very expensive and the reputation of your company is at risk too. The owner also shared that if we start a business and you make it stable we should start investing in marketing because it will have a great impact on your company
The interviews we conducted on August 30, 2024, were an eye opening experience for me. It wasn’t just about learning the stories behind these businesses but also about understanding the people who run them, their values and what makes their companies successful. Hearing directly from the owners and managers gave me a new perspective on what it takes to lead and grow a business especially in challenging environments.
Our first interview with the branch manager of Yellow Cab Corporation really stood out. What struck me most was his belief in treating his co-workers like family. It made me realize how much relationships matter in the workplace. I always thought being a manager was about making sure the work got done but this manager showed me that checking in on people’s well-being is just as important. When employees feel cared for they are more motivated and productive. It was a simple but powerful lesson that I hope to carry with me in any leadership role I might take in the future.
Talking with the team from Sunburst made me appreciate the importance of flexibility and adaptability in business. Their story of surviving the COVID-19 pandemic by quickly adjusting to delivery services showed me how being open to change can help businesses not only survive but thrive during tough times. They also made me think about how external factors like natural disasters can impact a business and how important it is to have contingency plans in place. This was something I hadn’t considered before but it seems crucial to long term success.
The conversation with Hube Computer Store was a bit more brief but it left me with the idea that starting small is okay and you can grow over time. With just ₱200,000 and two employees Hube managed to expand to four branches which was inspiring. It was a reminder that with hard work, determination and a clear vision businesses can grow beyond what you initially imagine. Even though the owner was shy to talk about her leadership I could see that actions sometimes speak louder than words.
Interviewing the manager of Yuri’s Coffee Roaster gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to stay true to your product despite challenges. Cagayan de Oro has so many coffee shops and yet they found a way to stand out by staying consistent with the quality of their coffee. It made me realize that when competition is tough it’s not always about offering something new or different. Sometimes it's about being excellent at what you already do. I was impressed by their resilience especially given the tough market they’re in.
Lifeline Coffee Brewers taught me something I hadn’t considered before the risks of cutting corners. The owner emphasized that sticking with cheaper products can harm your reputation in the long run and that really stuck with me. It made me think about how businesses need to balance costs with quality and how investing in marketing can give a business the boost it needs once it’s stable. It was one of those moments that made me reflect on how important reputation is to a brand and how delicate it can be.

Palermo, Sicily - Part 1
38°07'55" N, 13°20'8" E
“Possibly, Daedelus recognized that he had reached a place in which the most lush magnificence, the most sybaritic pleasures console us for – without ever lying about – the harshness of existence.” - Francine Prose, Sicilian Odyssey
Video first for epic context!
vimeo
Just after sunrise our plane cascaded through the clouds and revealed a landscape that was reminiscent of Santa Barbara, California or Kona, Hawaiʻi: green mountains embraced by turquoise blue water. Conca d'Oro (Golden Basin) is the area where the city of Palermo rests on the Island of Sicily and where 28% of Krystal’s DNA traces its origins. Cagayan de Oro (River of Gold) is where Mary’s family traces their lineage on the Island of Mindanao in the Philippines. This correlation is not wasted on us! We each descend from the golden lands of our ancestors and wow, Palermo, has not disappointed.
Storied as the most conquered city in the world, Palermo immediately meets you with a dizzying confluence of cultures. The food, architecture, people, and spirit of this city is a truly wonderful smash of the surrounding parts of the globe accessible by boat. It is not possible to sum up the experience into words, images, or even video. You’ll have to see, taste, and hear it for yourself. We will do our best to share the pieces that moved us to our core.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The graffiti is stunning - some of the best we have ever seen. The streets are steeped in history and secrets that are reminiscent of no other place and yet seem undeniably familiar. It could also be that almost everyone here looks just like Krystal. We wandered for days with our jaws flapping at the beauty surrounding us. After passing a sign for a community archive that led us on a grand adventure we found Krystal’s 4th great grandfather’s birth certificate in a really old book. We spend most days wandering the cobbled streets, trying to stay warm, and in total awe at just how fast a sunny day can turn into 50mph winds and a downpour.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The best place to miss out on possible downpours is always a museum! Krystal recently read “The Map of Salt and Stars” a magical tale that tells of many things (you should absolutely read this book) including geographer Muhammed al-Idrisi and his Tabula Rogeriana created for King Roger II of Sicily in 1154. The Google Translated version of the Palazzo dei Normanni website seemed to indicate that the foyer was home to a replica celestial and terrestrial planisphere by al-Idrisi, so we sort of b-lined it to the palace. No replicas here, to see any of al-Idrisi’s creations you have to go to cities like Paris, or London, or Istanbul even though they were created here in Palermo. BUT the Palazzo totally blew us away! The mosaic work alone could take a lifetime to fully appreciate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
An entire day was spent soaking on operatic genius at the Teatro Massimo - check the video to indulge in some of that magic. We also spent a whole day locked in a pretty spectacular argument, but taking your life into your own hands every time you walk outside (have we mentioned how people drive in Italy?) leads to thin nerves that can fray if not tended carefully. After a day of serious learning and growing as a couple we continued our regularly scheduled programming and visited the gallery at Villa Zito. The work displayed provided an awesome window into the past, present, and future of Palermo. We really enjoyed the black and white photography by Lia Pasqualino and her images of famed mafia photographer Letizia Battaglia led us to watch “Shooting the Mafia” while hanging around the apartment to meet the plumber. You can see the work at Villa Zito virtually and we caught “Shooting the Mafia” on Kanopy through our Hawaiʻi Public Library account and our trusty VPN (yay for libraries!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We are trying to take more pictures of the food before we eat it, but we still have a ways to go. Lessons from Palermo: don’t order sardines in your pasta no matter what anyone says, the nuns make the best cannolis, and Sicilian canned tuna is out of this world good. We are steps from the Ballaro Market and no matter what we do our presence screams American tourists coming and sometimes we pay for it, but not as much as Krystal’s mom is paying for stuff in the middle of Wisconsin! If you are keeping a bucket list add “eating my weight in Sicilian oranges” and drinking  “Amaro di Arancia Rossa” to the lineup. We are off to hunt for more magic, do more epic work, and Mary is going to eat grilled intestines while Krystal watches.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In family history land, the hunt for jure sanguinis (Italian citizenship through blood relation) is in full swing. A record Krystal thought went to her great grandfather, Theodore Pecoraro, for naturalization in the US didn’t match up and no record for him exists in the state of Wisconsin! This is possibly exciting. Italian handwriting is abysmal, but at least they have pretty good indexes! We were able to find the birth and marriage record for the fellow with the mustache, Antonino Pecoraro and his wife Maria Vitale. A wander into a photo shop in Palermo revealed that the family is “definitely not rich” judging by their shoes. Also stay tuned to see if Maria Gigante, the gal clutching her purse in the photo below and Krystal’s 3x great grandmother, is related to the Gigantes of not so glorious fame in New York and Sicily.

A Look Into The Indigenous People in the Philippines
The Philippines is home to an array of indigenous tribes with unique ways, from traditions and languages to their view of life. These tribes live and thrive in diverse environments and continue to contribute to the country’s identity today. The indigenous people in the Philippines are living and breathing proof of their lasting traditions and adaptability.
Indigenous People in the Philippines
The indigenous people in the country represent nearly 14% of the local population and are deemed the most impoverished social group in the country. The indigenous communities’ occupation of environments such as mountain ranges kept them away from the Spanish colonizers. Even today, they continue to manage their cultural identity and beliefs.
Here is the list of indigenous groups in the Philippines that thrive today.
Igorot
The Igorots are the indigenous tribes inhabiting the mountainous regions in the northern part of the country.  They are well known for being rice cultivators and for their role in building the Banaue Rice Terraces. These groups are also known to have a deep connection to their agricultural practices and spiritual traditions. The tribes that are under the Igorots include:
Bontoc
Ifugao
Kalinga
Kankanaey
Ibaloi
Tinguian
Lumad
Similar to the Igorots, the Lumad are the indigenous tribes who reside in Mindanao and Western Visayas. The distinction is based on a Cebuano term, which ironically means ‘indigenous.’ They are known for their strong connection to their environment and traditional practices, such as hunting and farming. The Lumad tribes are composed of non-Muslim groups. These include:
Manobo and its sub-groups
Subanon
Talaandig
Mamanwa
Mandaya
T’boli
Higaonon
See also: Best Places To Visit In Mindanao
Mangyan
The Mangyans are well-known for having the biggest populace among the other indigenous tribes in the Philippines. These tribes thrive on the Mindoro island and are known for their rich story-telling and basket-weaving crafts. They are comprised of 8 different groups, all with a more peaceful reputation. These groups are:
Iraya
Alangan
Tawbuid
Bangon
Buhid
Hanunuo
Tadyawan
Ratagnon
Today, around 10% of the Mangyan have embraced Christianity, both Roman Catholic and Evangelical Protestant practices.
Badjaos
The Badjaos are an Indigenous group that lives in the Sulu Archipelago and the Tawi-Tawi islands. Known as the “Sea Tribes,” they are seafaring people skilled in boat-building and water navigation. They generally earn a living as divers, fishermen, and sea navigators.
Palawan Tribes
The Palawan tribes are defined as groups living in the mountains or lowland dwellings. These groups of tribes are known for their deep connection to their environment and long hold of their traditional resource management practices. The group under this tribe includes:
Kagayanen
Tagbanwa
Palawano
Taaw't Bato
Molbog
Batak
Most of these groups still live a rural lifestyle and even avoid urbanization.
See also: The Ultimate Palawan Travel Guide
Negritos
The Negritos tribe revolves around the indigenous people who possess dark skin and small stature. They are often considered the most ancient among other tribes and often have a hunter or gatherer background. They have different groups, which include:
Agta
Aeta
Ati
Ata
Batak
The Negritos live in many regions of the Philippines. They are found mostly in Palawan, Negros, Cebu, Mindanao, and the mountainous side of Luzon.
Challenges Faced by Indigenous People
Many indigenous tribes in the Philippines struggle to catch up or align with modern governments and trends. Here is a list of some of the ongoing challenges these communities face today:
Losing Rights to Their Ancestral Land
Indigenous people in the Philippines continuously battle to secure rights to their ancestral domains due to various factors. The most common issues include the land used for government projects, mining operations, and agricultural plantations.
Discrimination and Social Exclusion
One of the most common and serious issues indigenous communities face today is the growing experience of discrimination. Stereotypes and lack of understanding of their culture have widely contributed to their marginalization and exclusion from the public.
Cultural Preservation and Identity
With the many influences and advancements made in today’s age, many indigenous groups are struggling to preserve their culture and tradition. Their challenges include bringing their way of life to the modern world and the younger generation in ensuring their way of life survives.
Efforts in Preserving Indigenous Cultures
Many initiatives and programs today put huge efforts into preserving and promoting indigenous cultures to the public attention. Government and non-governmental organizations are crucial in supporting indigenous communities to preserve their cultural heritage.
These projects play a huge role by providing educational platforms for anyone to learn and immerse themselves in these Indigenous traditions and views of life. For example, even the best museums in Manila display special exhibits that showcase artifacts and historical records that tell the story of these tribes.
Final Thoughts
Knowing the indigenous people in the Philippines helps keep their identity and presence alive in every Filipino's mind today. Similar to understanding the country’s deep history, it is important to study these tribes’ roles and their contribution to the country’s diverse growth. Through present efforts, indigenous cultures will thrive and live on.

Travelogue
Davao City, located on the southern island of Mindanao in the Philippines, is a vibrant and bustling city that offers a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty. Here's a possible travelogue of a trip to Davao City: Day 1: Arrival in Davao City after a long flight, I finally arrived in Davao City, the largest city on the southern island of Mindanao in the Philippines. The city is known for its vibrant culture, delicious food, and natural beauty, and I was excited to explore all that it had to offer. I checked into my hotel, the Marco Polo Davao, which was centrally located and offered stunning views of the city. After settling in, I decided to take a stroll around the city to get a feel for the place. I was immediately struck by the warmth and friendliness of the locals. Everyone I met was eager to help and offer suggestions for things to see and do. I made my way to the Rizal Park, a beautiful public space in the heart of the city, where I enjoyed the lush gardens and the peaceful atmosphere. Day 2: Exploring Davao City I started my day with a visit to the San Pedro Cathedral, a beautiful Catholic church in the heart of the city. The church was built in the 1800s and is a testament to the city's rich history and cultural heritage. Next, I made my way to the Davao Museum, which showcases the city's diverse cultural heritage. The museum features exhibits on the city's indigenous tribes, as well as its history as a Spanish colony and its role in the Philippine Revolution. In the afternoon, I visited the Philippine Eagle Center, a sanctuary for the country's national bird, the Philippine Eagle. The center is home to over 30 eagles, as well as other birds and animals native to the Philippines Day 3: Samal Island I took a day trip to Samal Island, a beautiful tropical paradise located just a short boat ride from Davao City. The island is known for its white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush forests. I spent the day exploring the island's many beaches, snorkeling in the clear waters, and enjoying the delicious seafood. I also visited the Monfort Bat Sanctuary, which is home to over 2 million bats. Day 4: Departure All too soon, it was time to say goodbye to Davao City. I packed my bags and headed to the airport, feeling grateful for the amazing experiences I had had and the memories I had made. As I boarded my flight, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness at leaving this beautiful city behind. But I knew that I would always carry the spirit of Davao City with me, and that I would return again someday.

A wave greeting to my dearest queen
Tumblr media
View of buildings couple of kilometers away before you can reach the port of Cebu City.
I was four years of age, since I've last saw the glance of this winsome place named Cebu City, dateback year 2009. Besides, last year I had the opportunity to wave her greeting. Moreover, we had arrived couple of minutes from home to the Mindanao Port of Nasipit, before the scheduled time arrival to Cebu. We had travel via ferry; although the fare is affordable, it just took us 10 hours to reach the said place. Couple of kilometers before we arrived at the Port of Cebu City, I had seen how beautiful the aligned tall buildings are. The peace and tranquility of the view accompany me.
Tumblr media
Sunrise captured next to the bench in the ferry.
The moment that I woke up, I grab my phone and hurriedly get upstairs to the back portion of the ferry.. as if there's a dog chasing to bite me, hahahhaaha. One step forward to finally reach the second floor; I had seen how lovely the view is, the placid wave, yellowish sky and the golden hour-look of the surroundings that the sun light strikes. In addition, it was my very first time to witness how it looks when the sun rises, because ever in my life I haven't the spot to see where the sun could possibly seen to rise thus i'm just able to see the reflection of it's light.
Tumblr media
Rare photo of me with mom, teenage times.
I'm not up into taking photos if I'm with anyone, even with my family members. I'm kind of insecure in my skintone as well as to my body figure. But unexpectedly, I had captured a photo of me with my mom; thanks to the beauty filter, my confidence boost in taking photos even just in that split second. Mom and I we're apart for couple of years before when she's still working abroad and consequently rare to have travel with her.
In conclusion, even tho I ain't had the chance to took several photo, I can say that the queen city of the south, Cebu City, is one of the greatest place you can ever visit here in the Philippines. Besides of the beautiful scenery of it's city and buildings, beaches, enchanted tourist spot, people here is nice and respectful; maybe not all but rest assured, almost.
So if you're planning to go on a trip or vacation, I highly recommend you to come and visit my dearest queen Cebu.. change not; breathtaking and lively. In particular, just like as the stars in heaven, even time pass by but she still have that appointed place in my heart.. sheesh. What are you waiting for? Try now to visit Cebu City and enjoy your placid journey towards serenity ^^.
