Pixelade played inZOI and it's unbelievably amazing!

When I saw the first stuff about The Sims 4, I cried because I'd been so disappointed - and now I cry because I'm so so happy!

Cars and drums! Colorwheel and open world! In the basegame! And so much more!

I really think EA is giving up on The Sims. With all the struggles they have with buggy content, hearing nothing about Project Rene or The Sims 5, their desperate tries to squeeze out more money from us and the pressure from the new competitors - it's going to cost them too much money and effort to continue the Sims, I fear o.o

What do you think? Are you going to check the new life simulations? I think I'm already gone and I don't know if I will able to go back to the Sims once I entered inZOI oh my.

A sims 4 save file.

Hiya, everyone. Long time, no see. Over the past few months.... I have been working on a save file which is completely made up of your sims and builds from the gallery. I have credited each and everyone of your incredible builds and family's, which you will be able to find in the description of every lot. Sadly I have not completed the save.... I was just so rudely interrupted by my daughter being born.... hahaha, I'm just kidding I love her and she is an absolute dream. I still have many family's to place as well as needing to flesh them all out to ensure my save is full of drama, chaos and life. Also needing to complete the worlds of Selvadorada and Evergreen Harbor. I think I can have the save 100% completed by the end of the month as I will absolutely wanna update it for arrival infants and the growing together EP! On the topic of packs.... this save is by no means pack restricted, you will require every single pack apart from the Star Wars one (I refuse to buy it. Unless I can catch it on sale for at least half of its original price.) The save is completely cc free as well. Once I have completed the save I will do a post that also credits everyone!

Bro that InZoi shit has lead me into watching every single argument under the sun on Twitter and I muted all the words related to it and didn't even go out of my way to look up wtf people were saying about it, except I did as I'm a nosy bitch and all I can say is that even know my PC can probably handle it, it doesn't have anything on the surface that I could see being fun to me specifically, like the aformentioned no emo hair. I did mute it tho but something about The Sims fanbase and always being hyperbolic and aggressively self centered and not shutting up made me learn way more than I ever expected to, and probably got indirectly called a whole lot of insults, while at the same time I feel like I know nothing. I have some curiosity but not enough to bother trying to mess with it. I just prefer more cartoony, I feel like I can get things 'wrong' and it won't matter as much.

I’m interested in inzoi only because I need something that isn’t the sims tbh

Like I think it’ll be a fun addition to the life sim genre but I don’t think it’ll take the place of the sims

Im stuck on paralives bc I like the art style but I do love the customization that comes with inzoi

I did notice the actual character creator for inzoi is missing a lot, like you can really change the angle of the bridge, you can only add a bump and like change the angle of the tip of the nose

So that was Odd but fair

I can get over the hair because j imagine cc for the game will be able to fill that gap

I like that you can customize the clothing with your own patterns and designs, and that there aren’t as many limits to how far you can push/pull a feature

They’re still expanding on the gameplay as far as I can tell, but there’s already drums, guitar, and piano in the base game on launch

Cars don’t appeal to me really, and only having kids and adults is Weird but it is what it is.

I don’t love the whole ai thing but that would really depend on where their ai gets its creator sources.

There’s just a lot of customization and a lot of silly things too

I like to make sims and I like to build but I don’t always want to actually play the game sometimes

I’m not super excited for inzoi as a game, but it definitely has its appeal

The career options and open world are definitely something that piques my interest

You can also change how modern or how run down the world looks which I l o v e

I love a grimy city world I won’t lie

I’m keeping an open mind for a lot of the upcoming life sims because the sims really does need a competitor tbh

who is the creator who dismissed the concerns about fatphobia/ow/ai? not to stir up drama just to know who to avoid since you mentioned the video has since been deleted and I tend to watch everyone but pixelade and satch (if it was either of them feel free to ignore this lol!)

no worries at all about stirring up drama, i doubt it will but i’ll just close my inbox if people act up 👍 it was in fact pixelade. to be clear, he never mentioned the stuff with ow or the use of ai (afaik on that last one) but continued to promote inzoi after all this had been revealed and i highly doubt he didn’t see people talking about that if he saw the issues with fatphobia being discussed online. the comment section on that video was completely foul and he was liking comments that were accusing the people who rightfully brought this issue up of being ea folks trying to sabatoge inzoi’s launch as well as comments peddling the dev’s excuse for not making bigger zois in game + other underhanded fatphobic comments. i wish i’d taken screenshots and stuff but i didn’t know he was going to delete the video lol

Which g-shade do you recommend?

Hello <3 So I tend to change up presets so much that I'm not sure it even counts as the original base preset anymore, but I just used these as a base, by pixelade :)

I just like to keep my settings minimal. Just enough to add a little AO, DOF, clarity, some saturation, and a little brightness. (careful when turning up brightness though, we don't want to lighten those beautiful dark-skinned simmies!)

So the 'big' thing they are teasing us with for two weaks now are -> Daily Rewards. As far as I understood they are going to pop up in game today or tomorrow and it's just recolors of stuff we already have (and paid for, like that pillow from the Modern Luxe kit) (?) EA really should learn what a 'big' thing is -.- I'm mildly excited for the new swatches for the fridge and the pillow (I'd love a fridge we could build in the counters better, like the we can do with dishwasher, but yeah...)

but these recolors can easily be done within a few hours, and that's definitely NOT a big thing, omg. Even though the feature isn't life yet, all the objects are already downloadable via the gallery lol
