Luffy really is trying to be thoughtful when he does things for you. He just ends up messing around and, well- messing things up! Like how he tried to bake you a cake in the middle of the night since Sanjiwould never let him in the day! 😊 (The kitchen almost burned down. Franky had to repair it 😬)

Luffy was banned from a number of things after that but he did make you a mud pie! He used to make them all the time when he was younger and he figured you’d like one! Here ya go! 😃👍

Luffy and you barely have and slow and relaxing moments but when you do it’s very comforting. Usually in the middle of the night during a rare occasion that Luffy ate enough so he doesn’t get up for snacks or adventure

but you get up, and you see how calm and peaceful he looks while sleeping. You lovingly observe his face for a bit before going back to sleep <3

Luffy always has to have you around when he eats. if your far away and he sees you, he pulls you close with his stretchy limbs. even if you are close he’ll basically have you in a literal choke hold as he balloons from overeating 😅😭

he burps, laughs, kisses you on the temple and keeps eating. In that order. 💕

Luffy will obv still eat if your not around but as soon as your in sight he’s pulling you over

Costumes I think the ghost crew would wear for Halloween (or a Star Wars version of the holiday)

- Ezra bridger: I think he’d go as ghost because it was easy and I think his older self would be a ghost as a morbid joke since they thought he was dead for a lil bit 💀 but fr? Prob a werewolf or a pirate if he and sabine matched for fun (not shipping although I have nothing against sabezra). I can also see him in a skeleton costume but ALSO HE WOULD GO AS LANDO HAHAHA. I think he seriously dresses up for Halloween. Like different costume every year. Except for after Kanan went blind. He was too “grown up” and “going through something” for it 🙄

- Sabine: Vampire. I feel it in my bones. That or a pirate matching with Ezra. I also see her painting her beskar to be temporarily Halloween themed. Something artistic.

- Kanan: I don’t think he’d dress up for Halloween. I doubt Jedi are super into costumes and he’s just never grown up doing it so it’s eh. I think it’s also because he gets embarrassed. Strangely, I think he’d wear a costume once after he went blind and reconciled with Ezra to up the morale for everyone. In this universe he is definitely not dead because I said so. If he did(or almost died), then also a ghost costume 💀💀💀

- Hera: I can see vampire as well for her, but I think her costume would be something boring like “rebel pilot��� costume where it’s just her orange flight suit with a rebel helmet 💀. She’d think it was funny.

- Garazeb: He thinks he’s already scary looking enough so he’s the kinda guy that says “this is my Halloween costume wdym” if Ezra pesters him. In the Ahsoka series however, I seriously believe him and Kallus would have couples costumes. (Hera tried to get Kanan to do a couples costume ONCE and he shot it down immediately before you ask) What those couples costumes would be, idk.

- C1-10P: Chopper would definitely stick a Jack a lantern he carved himself on his head and call it a day. He would also chase Ezra with the carving utensils on purpose. Idk what plant a pumpkin would be in this universe tho.

- Jacen Syndulla Dume(? I’m adding that because I like the idea of Kanan and hera keeping both last names) Hera would think it was adorable to dress him up when he was a toddler (even if it was impractical) I bet she’d dress him up like a lil meillorun 😭. When he was older obviously he’d want to be a Jedi for Halloween even if Kanan is a little perturbed by being a kid’s Halloween costume.

You are the most recent joined member of the Straw Hat pirates. Luffy asked you to join after seeing both your skill and your caring/gentle personality. He automatically knew you were someone he could rely on and wanted you on his crew!

Whenever the crew needed advice or someone to listen to them they knew they could ask you. Even if it was just a simple question. You always had the most realistic and helpful advice. Cause of all of that you are known as the strawhats strategist! The crew wouldn't have it any other way. Cause at times when Luffy would rush in with out a plan or if something went wrong you always kept your calm and figured out a plan!

Even though all of the crew liked you their is one member that definitely treated you different from the others. Zoro.

Zoro sees you as someone he wants to keep safe. Even though he would probably never admit that. He sees how hard you try. And even though you're not crazy strong like him and the other members physically. You are very strong mentally. And he looks up to you for that. Having such a big responsibility like yours is not a easy job. And he knows that. Having people rely on you whenever something bad would happen. Having to keep not only yourself calm but everyone around you. He doesn't know how you do it.

So since zoro is more on the quiet side and keeps to himself. He notices when you start becoming distant. Noticing how you are spacing out when people talk to you. How you seem to always be in a daze, stuck in your thoughts. And how you started to isolate yourself in your room. Sometimes even skipping meals. But always saying you're just tired.

How your smile he so dearly loved to see start to fade. He couldn't help but notice that....

This concerned zoro. But when he brought it up to the crew they didn't know what he was talking about and brushed it off. It's not like they don't care. You are just very good at hiding it. Zoro kept a eye on you at all times. Sometimes even falling asleep next to you on purpose so you wouldn't isolate yourself more.

But when it was yalls turn to keep watch one night he had to ask what was going on. Zoro knows he's not the best at comforting people. And that he tends to come off as dense but he truly wants to help you. He cares about your health.

So their you two are sitting beside each other. Waiting for night to pass. In silence. Not a awkward silence but a peaceful, comforting silence. He enjoys spending time with you like this. Sometimes stealing a glance every once in a while.

"Hey y/n can we....talk?"

You quickly pop your head up to look at him. "Of course zoro. I'll happily listen!" you try to say cheerfully but it comes out weak. Zoro takes a deep breath. "Well that's sorta what I wanted to talk about. I know you will listen but.... I want to listen to you this time."

He watches as your breath hitches and your eyes widden. You try to smile but he can still tell it's not the same. "What do you mean? I don't have anything to talk about..." you chuckle. Playing with your hands.

Zoro grabs your hands. Holding them in his. "I know I'm not as good as you at listening but I want to know what's going on y/n. Why are you acting so distant?" he looks up at you. Staring right into your eyes. Desperate for a answer.

You look away. Staring at yalls hands. "I just... I just feel like a nuisance. Like a burden. I'm not strong like you guys. And my last plan didn't go as I planned and-" you try to say, starting to feel panicked and overwhelmed. "Hey hey just slow down. It's ok. You are strong. Hell you're probably stronger then me honestly. I mean you're the only person I know that can come up with a plan so quickly. And you're not a nuisance y/n." he trails off rubbing small circles on your hand with his thumb trying to calm you down.

You feel tears swell up in your eyes. "B-But I want to keep y'all safe and what happened last time nearly got y'all badly hurt...if y'all did get hurt I wouldn't be able to protect y'all well cause I'm not strong" you wipe your eyes with you palm.

"You do keep us safe. Your strategies keep us safe. Think about it this way. We keep you safe with physical strength and you keep us safe with mental strength. No one on this crew has both of those things y/n. Not as good as you at least. The only reason we nearly got hurt was cause WE messed up YOUR plan. That wasn't your fault. It was ours for being reckless."

"But what about-"

"Y/n listen! Their is no but. You are the best strategist. You are strong. You are important to this crew. If you think that was bad before then you don't want to know what would of happened if you didn't give us a plan to start with. Cause I can promise I wouldn't be sitting here with you right now if you didn't give us that plan. If you want to get more strong physically I will train you but their is no reason to stress over it."

Zoro grabs your shoulders. "I don't want to see you like this anymore y/n. I miss your smile....."

He pulls you into a hug. Something you never thought you would experience. You wrap your arms around his back, holding him tightly.

Ramble from my notes, thought to share

Clanks role in The Pirate Fairy was SO important. When I was watching the movie for the first time, I set myself up for disappointment because I truly believed this was going to be a Plot A Plot B type of movie, I thought there'd be a back and forth of Clank at home and TinkerBell & her friends out with the pirates. After TinkerBell put Clank in charge of taking care of everyone, I was like THIS IS IT!!! MORE CLANK SCREENTIME!!! Bro had no more screentime until the end 💀 not complaining though, the movie was good.

Clank literally had the entirety of Pixie hollows fairies in his care!!!! It could've been soooo good. It's obvious that he's a clumsy character, so this task would've been a bit suspenseful. Like this is a huge responsibility, and Tink was confident that he would be able to do it! This reminds me a lot of Secret of the wings, where she trusts him to wrap Peri's wings. I love them.

With that, it's already been established that he's so gentle and caring towards others and literally PERFECT for the job, though I don't think it was easy for him! Idk why I got this idea but I feel like he'd worry about how comfortable the fairies are in their sleep. He'd go in and gently slide pillows under their heads, cover some of the more isolated ones with blankets, and so on. All the while, he's not very used to being apart from bobble so he's constantly accidentally talking out loud and it makes him rlly sad.

If Bobble was put in charge of doing what clank did instead, he'd be able to do it too I think, but I feel like things would be comically worse for him 😭 which leads me to another thing

I don't like Clank being labeled as stupid because he's really not. He's a very competent Tinker fairy, same with Bobble. In the old Disney fairies website, it says that Bobbles' secret is that he thinks he's smarter than Clank, which I think is alligns well with his personality. He wants to present himself as some sort of very sophisticated and smart person, and while he is, he's just as clumsy and silly as Clank.

The amount of progress I made since being diagnosed with autism, depression and anxiety. Even if I stopped going to therapy, I feel like the diagnosis (esspecially the autism one) shed so much light on my life, and I was able to makes the world around me (even if just at home) more confortable for myself by understanding myself more and adjusting the way I do things so it's easier on me.

Hmmmmm let's see- the Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children series, obviously, but I also LOVE The Book Thief, American Gods and definetely Warrior Cats (I only read the first arc, so Idk how good's the rest xD)

Sooo this flashback thing Maya communicates to Sinedd's mother through mind-meld confirms D'jok and Sinedd used to be friends, which is something we'd been wondering about for a while. It would make sense why Sinedd is so hung up on their rivalry.

I headcanon that he got jealous of D'jok's life (having a parent, being really good at football etc.), feeling worse about himself, especially with him never getting an adoptive family. Maybe he even was the first to start playing football, but felt like D'jok was surpassing him and this was another thing taken from him. So he starts putting down Micro-Ice so he can feel superior and challenging D'jok, who eventually ditches him. It's an interesting dynamic, would have been cool to see some full flashback scenes about this.

Chapter 1:

Luffy wants to be a pirate but he’s a little goober who can’t swim yet, approx 7 years old I think

New guy: Shanks’ first mate(unnamed so far)

They’re all pretty cool so far ngl

New guy: Makino! She’s the barmaid!! And Luffy puts everything on a treasure tab it seems. Also! Makino is very strong!! Look at that barrel of beer! (She’s holding a barrel labeled beer when introduced) A barrel of liquid is Not light

LUFFY YOU IDIOT WHAT ARE YOU EATING <- (i know exactly what he ate)

New guy: Higuma, some kind of bandit who loves terrorizing normal civilians

I think this line is really funny given Luffy exclusively has like crazy ass people as role models(to me)

I wanted to mention really quickly—but shanks got hit over the head with a glass bottle, which in real life is typically a life threatening attack. Realism is irrelevant given that this is one piece, but things like this are too common and underemphasized in media, so I wanted to bring it up in the off chance someone got the bright idea to recreate that move irl. Be careful not to kill people!!! It’s worryingly easy!!

Rest of the chapter goes something like this: Luffy defends shanks and his crews honor against higuma and gets beat for it, and the shanks and his crew pull of to stop that!!

Luffy gets snatched and eventually dropped into the sea, about to get eaten by a sea monster when shanks turns up and quite literally glares at it until it fucks off. Unfortunately, shanks lost an arm during the ordeal. Fortunately, Luffy gains a hat!

Ten year timeskip finds Luffy sailing away to become a pirate in his own!

Chapter 2:

Ah.

LUFFY ARE YOU ACTUALLY TWEAKING RN THATS GONNA KILL YOU

Rest of chapter is Koby being like “I wanna be a Marine!” And alvida pulls up like “🤨😡you wanna do what?? You said you were gonna capture ME?!” And then luffy punches her and makes the other crew give him and koby a little boat to sail away (we also get quick lore that to get/find the one piece you gotta go to the grand line, which people refer to as the pirates graveyard)

Chapter 3:

Luffy and koby pull up at the marine town where ‘zolo’ is located, and have a quick meal cause food is important yeah.

This combination of panels is insane😭

“Maybe they just got carried away” listen little bro(this statement is funny for meta reasons) but that is a crazy ass assumption😭😭 like the thought process is genuinely interesting though yk like “oh, they reacted like crazy when hearing about the scary guy! Maybe they went overboard and also reacted hearing about the captain morgan guy”

New guy: Captain Morgan!! Some random guy that’s running the show in this town apparently

New guy:(officially) Roronoa Zoro! That very first panel of him the page before his full body that’s a partial side profile goes hard as hell, super menacing frfr

Also he’s like strung up like a more normal (“normal”) version of like idk jesus getting crucified?? I don’t know why I was thinking of it but??? Something about it feels like it’s supposed to be symbolic of something but I have a hard time displaying media literacy during first reads so let me come back to this one after witnessing parallels or something thanks gang

Zoro says he’s been up there for nine days!😟 which would kill a normal person I’m pretty sure because dehydration kills after like three days.. I’ve heard of cases where people can survive longer under very specific circumstances but that’s neither here nor there, bro looks like he has a head wound and a line of blood out the corner of his mouth so like realism for the loss lmao

New guy: little girl! Who I don’t know the name of, but she’s trying to feed Zoro and has a very kindness aura, though I would probably use a different word if I could recall a better one

New guy: Helmeppo, some guy with like an evil version of a Karen cut and the son of captain morgan. Bro is an ass stomping on that little girls food just because she made it weird😭😭

Yk what I AM seeing parallels but between all these panels where the background whites out and its two people (one of which is always Luffy) let me cook real quick I’ll come up with something later on trust trust

Also Luffy is wild, it’s so so interesting that he’s trying to decide if Zoro should join or not due to his having a bad reputation, makes it interesting to see his psychology regarding life as a pirate. He sees piracy as freedom to chase dreams and happiness and stuff, while most others perceive it as the ability to evade the law and do illegal acts/crime as you please

Zoro displaying good character as Luffy casually is so funny for no reason—though quick mention it’s pretty interesting that to me from my general perception of Luffy is that he’d like to eat anything, though food stomped into the ground is a reasonable line, just interesting given, again, his I’ll eat very many things attitude

Luffy tells the little girl Zoro ate the food she made for him and has a quick chat with her and koby about being good and stuff, and Luffy later punches Helmeppo after he(helmeppo) declares he was super lying about making a deal with Zoro to free him

Luffy declares he wants Zoro on his crew!!

Chapter 1-3 summary and thoughts:

- Luffy backstory where he gets devil fruit powers and how he got his hat from shanks

- Luffy meets Koby(wants to be a marine as his dream), saves him from alvida, and pulls up at a marine town

- Enter Zoro! Luffy decides he wants Zoro on his crew after judging him to be a good character and witnessing what it’s like in the marine town

Not much to say that I haven’t already, but I like it a lot! Pacing is pretty fast given the reputation regarding the length of one piece, if I had no clue what was to follow from this point, I’d claim it(the pacing) similar to that of CSM, but, yeah we all know lol.

So like to the whitebeard pirates ace is not really an intimidating person he’s their baby brother after all! Yes they’re aware he’s dangerous and can be a literal demon but they’ve also all had to save him when he’s fallen asleep mid bite and almost choked and wrestled with his over stupid shit and teased him until he blushed like a teenage girl over his relationship with Marco.

There is however one situation where they all truely fear him and are right too. It doesn’t matter if they’re in the middle of a full blow battle or party or anything if ace comes storming out to tell everyone to shut the fuck up because Marco had a migraine they shut up. It is a sudden race to be as silent as possible and they will go to great lengths to silence all who breaks this temporary peace for aces retribution if they do not shut if is swift fierce and cruel.

MC is such a tragic character and I feel for her the most. I love how we started off thinking Jisung was this great person but turns out that hes a fucking lunatic. You, Caly literally manipulated us into thinking so, like how Jisung manipulated MC and idk if that was intentional or not but it was brilliant. And Hyunwoo turning out to be like *that* was a punch in the gut. MC being betrayed by the ppl she cared for so much makes her question everything on the crew, especially Hongjoong and that's why I cant be too frustrated with her lol

I dont want this ask to be so long cause i can go in about every little detail 😭 but youve dont such an amazing job. The world building is beautiful, and i dont rly read a lot of scifi like fictions set in space, but when i first got into ateez the first thing i thought of were pirates / space pirates and i even started my own fic with that premise bc i cant help myself but be self indulgent trash so 🤷🏼‍♀️ but thats beside the point

i'm so touched you think so, i really love evoking emotion out of the reader in my works and i'm glad that im effective in doing so <3 one of my goals from the start of writing moc was to create an mc who isn't always likable or enjoyable to read bc i find those sorts of stories unrealistic and sometimes boring, because even tho the setting is very much not real, having characters who do feel real has always been huge to me! i love creating characters who have peaks and valleys, who grow and stumble along the way, and to really show a journey of growth!! hongjoong is just. pure insanity at its finest LOL he's gonna take a lot to fix but we'll see!

i honestly had way too much fun writing that chapter too, i love love looooooove a good hatefuck and it was just too tempting to NOT do >.<

it was fully intentional to sort of bring the readers in on the manipulation yes hehe! i like playing my cards very close to my chest and not giving anything away until the absolute last second i can!!! i think you hit on something lots of people who want her to just give into hongjoong forget - she's experienced so much betrayal from the people she trusted most and that does really stick in the brain and cause lasting trauma, and our poor mc is deeply traumatized by many things that have happened to her! it only makes sense for her to be retaliating and distrustful of those around her in these circumstances!!

i don't think that malleus is that extroverted, but he would probably be a more assertive kind of introvert when you're around. and i think malleus is sort of.. "forced" to be an introvert? considering that he wants to socialize, make friends and attend parties and events, but he doesn't always have the opportunity.. also, he just gets that protective instinct when he sees you, so yeah, you're adopted now. about your texture issues, malleus would make sure to respect your boundaries and even though he would love to hug you/hold your hand/etc, he doesn't want to hurt you, so he will be careful! he can express his love for you in other ways too :) and he's not the loudest kind of person, so you don't have to worry about that either!

I think that Our Flag Means Death's Stede Bonnet is the perfect character for our times actually. In an age when it's so easy to give in to nihilism and bitterness in the face of everything awful that's happening ALL THE TIME, he remains gentle, kind, and constantly authentic in his caring attitude towards those he holds dear. He is by far the most "lover, not a fighter" character I've seen in a very long time.

I mean, he reads his crew bedtime stories! And they like it! He wears nice, colourful clothes, drinks tea, has an entire library onboard for god's sake, and you never have this feeling that the narrative itself wants you to think that he's being "too much". He's Stede. And he's great just the way he is.

And he finds people who appreciate him for it, too! I mean, Blackbeard is completely enamoured and fascinated from the very start, not just by Stede himself, but his way of being, too. And you'd think that this rough, legendary pirate would clash horribly with this gentle, slightly pathetic soul.

AND YET

They invite each other into their lives. Edward teaches Stede how to swordfight, Stede treats Edwards to the nice things he treats himself to as well, like good tea, wines, even comes along with him so he can experience the life of high society for an evening! And they both hate it in the end!

I love that, among many other things, OFMD is a story about how you shouldn't lose touch with the part of your soul that genuinely loves life, the world, and the people around you. It proves that, if you have a gentle part to you, it pays off to cultivate it. And the right people will come around and appreciate it endlessly.

Seeing how Con has been reacting to fans and fanmade content ever since OFMD exploded is making me nothing if not emotional. The last two conventions he attended too, he seems to be really enjoying himself, and I love that so much.

Given how youth-obsessed we as a society are these days, seeing this man who's well into his fifties be confident in himself, being fawned over no matter what he does, being sexy and having fun, soaking up people's reactions like a cat laying in a sunspot, it's just. Idk. It makes me lose my goddamn mind.

One of the (many) things I absolutely adore that happened due to the release of Our Flag Means Death, is this huge, sudden, loud, wonderful shift in what body types we find attractive.

Those little gifsets of Ed asking Stede to stab him? People saw Taika's tummy peeking out of his little crop top and lost their minds.

That one scene where Izzy cuts up Stede's shirt? Gifsets of the aftermath of that have people raving about Rhys's tits!

Every more or less shirtless moment on the show has people perked up, gushing about chests and tummies. And don't even get me started on ARMS.

And I just love how, through the introduction of an array of actors with diverse bodies, OFMD didn't just normalize seeing people not shaped like supermodels on TV. This show genuinely portrays them as attractive and desirable.

And whether it's characters desiring each other, or it's fans voicing how hot they think they are, it's just, it's beautiful. I love that this show, among other things, proves that no matter your age or your looks, you can be desirable. And that alone brings me so much joy.

wonderland: no more than 1 cup a day in the morning, just his expresso with the tiniest amount of sugar or just bitter coffee. other than that he prefers hot tea

rapper: too much coffee and caffeine every day and every night (gotta drink coffee to pull all those allnighters), his go-to is plain americano, easy to make and easy to carry around (even tho he spilled the whole cup on his studio’s floor more than once)

pirate king: mocha in the morning and sometimes during the day but watch him hide in his huge cup the fact he’s drinking hot chocolate w/ no slightest hint of actual coffee

say my name: cappuccino with extra foam at the weirdest time, really

wave: he stopped drinking coffee for the sake of everyone. it gives him too much energy. he’s pondering trying decaf just to be cool with his fake coffee

hala hala: espresso (at times he adds whipped cream) he usually has his well deserved cup of coffee in the evening
